I got takeout and it was great! Got a text message when it was ready for pickup. Large portions with delicious roasted tender chicken. Very crispy fries!

Food arrives cold. Poor isolation on the delivery/to-go containers. Chicken tastes like 5 days old.

Rotisserie? Chicken was tender, moist and flavorful and fries were real potatoes. A bit pricey though..would like to order a whole roast chicken but 28 euro is a bit pricey and actually get two halves not the whole chicken. If price point came down 30% I would order more often

Hands down the best roasted chicken we have ever had. So juicy, so much flavour & additional so good for an uber delivery! The chips were amazing pairs so well with the chicken. Garlic sauce is incredible. We’re from Australia, we’re foodies, this beats Nandos & any fast food chain by far. I don’t like chicken breast cos I find it so dry, but damn this was the juiciest breath I’ve ever had, just as damn good as the thigh & drumstick. These ratings should be higher I swear. I didn’t do a photo cos I devoured the chicken while it was still hot! Loved it

Ordered here often. It's hit or miss with this chicken hit. Sometimes fine, sometimes a bit overcooked. It is getting more and more expensive, though. You now pay almost 20 euros for half a chicken with some fries, that includes delivery. They might as well have the chicken flown here themselves, because this way it's just too expensive for the simple things you get.

I ordered via uber eats but since you cannot leave a proper review on that platform I come here. The chicken arrived in the allocated time which was good. The chicken was moist but lacked flavour. The whole thing was wet and sloppy … almost gives this unhooked texture but it was cooked. It just feels like the chicken might have been sitting in moisture or an on another chicken. The fries were okay but a small portion for a whole chicken. It’s expensive for what it is. I woudnt order from here again. I would recommend Franggo or van t spit which is the best!

Ordered through UberEats at 17:51pm and the estimated delivery was 18:35-18:55. I called the restaurant at 18:56pm to be met with a dismissive staff member who said “we’re making it now” and then hung up without giving me the option of cancelling as was my right, given they hadn’t even started preparing my order. I called back at 19:56pm as another hour had passed, and the same staffer picked up and told me my order would be there ‘soon’. I asked for an estimated delivery time and he said “10 min” and hung up. The order arrived at 20:15pm. The fries and Mexican salad were perfect, but the chicken was near-burnt and dry, and not the piece I requested. The restaurant added some ice creams to apologise for the extreme delay.

Ordered 10min before closing time. Delivery was very fast and everything was very good. Chicken was juicy and tasty, fries were perfect: crispy but not too much and good size. Thank you !

The chicken room had the most crispy fantastic chicken. Ordered tonight. Weak chicken that had exactly the same taste as the fries supplied. Also from the fryer? A smoke/fire taste. What a deception. No more chicken room!

Always tasty, usually delivered super quickly. The fries are really amazing, just like the chicken, even though it may occasionally spend a minute longer on the grill. Delivery people are always very nice too. Recommended!

The most delicious chicken and super tasty fries. The hair salon is also worth a visit, they also have it in a vegetarian version. The owner and the team work very hard to always deliver tender chicken, they are great at that! Nice guests. That's why I'm a regular customer!

Delicious chicken and mind blowing crispy fries! We had delivery of a chicken menu, everything was delivered hot and delicious. And fries, best fries that I had in years. Mexican salad was fresh as made at home. I can highly recommend!

Veruit de beste kip van Amsterdam!! Heerlijk mals en een lekkere houtskoolsmaak. Saus erbij is een perfecte toevoeging op t geheel! Ook heerlijke verse frites!

Amazing fries and delicious chicken!!!

Mijn vriend zou de kipboy op zijn schouders door de stad heen tillen. Dit was, volgens hem, de allerbeste kip die hij ooit proefde. Het enige dat hij nog zou willen was een bakje met chili saus. Deze tent is goedgekeurd, zeg ik wel vaker, maar deze tent verzet de standaard van goed.

The restaurant has some of the best chicken I have eaten in Amsterdam. Very hot and fresh for a excellent price. The fries here are also super tasty and will definitely order food here again. The prices for the food is also very competitive and well worth the price. Delivery times were also good and when the food arrived was still very hot. I’m looking forward to the next time I order a meal here. 10/10 would kipkamer again

Heerlijke malse kip! Houtskool gegrild en altijd met een heerlijk krokant korstje. Super lekkere frietjes erbij, ook hun eigen aji Peru saus is een hele grote aanrader! Bezorging ook altijd erg snel! Nergens betere kip gekregen dan bij de kipkamer!
