KISAAN is a real recommendation for anyone who appreciates vegetarian or vegan Indian cuisine. We were thoroughly satisfied. The dishes are fresh, lovingly prepared, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the homemade mango chutney – fruity, slightly spicy, and very balanced – and the cauliflower wings, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauces that accompanied the samosas also accompanied the rest of our meal. We ate all of them except for the very spicy one because they were so delicious. The curries can be customized, for example, with lentils, chickpeas, sweet potato, or paneer. The vegan mango lassi was also great: sweet yet refreshing. I followed it with a homemade rose cardamom lemonade – mmmm. The service was friendly, attentive, and explained the menu and all the vegan options (almost everything except the paneer is vegan) in detail. Overall, a very successful culinary experience – we'll be happy to return next time we visit The Hague.

Very minimalistic atmosphere, actually a takeaway with a few tables but super sweet and professional service and the food was delicious. And very reasonably priced. Also try the local Hague beer!

Crushed samosa entree was great. Had the summer curry and the Popeye spinach with chicken, and naan. Good naan. Only suggestion for improvement is the strength of the lemonade; it was a bit weak and watery. Otherwise good. Mango lassie was also good.

High “chickpea pulp” content… It's really a shame, while if one kitchen is suitable for vegan/vegetarian cuisine, it is the Indian one!! The naan has nothing to do with Indian naan, if it is something Indian, then it could pass as roti...

Had the karahi spice curry passion which was great. We also had naan, chili garlic fries and some samosas and Momo's. Honestly a great experience, nice staff, good prices and excellent taste. We reserved with a large group and we all got out food and drinks at the same time even. Will go again!

Restaurant with a slightly poor quality/price ratio. Relatively expensive for what it is, with few taste similarities with the curries and naans we eat in France. The welcome there was pleasant although we were not told about the quantities which could have been reduced because they were very copious. Not a bad restaurant that lacks flavor in our opinion. Lots of vegan and plant-based options.

Delicious and great vibes! We've been ordering delivery for years (they have gotten lots of awards) and decided to come in person and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. They have a great beer list and a full bar. Tried some new menu items and excited about the new menu next month. Will definitely be back for more in person meals. We're vegan BTW. Great options here! Wow what a really nice find! Kisaan focuses on vegan/vegetarian menu based off Indian food. A relatively small establishment operating a small yet cozy sit down restaurant. Started operations before Covid and have managed to survive thru with focus on local vendors (veggies, beer and drinks). Simple menu but very fresh and tasty. The server was extremely approachable and knowledgeable with good suggestions. We rarely give high marks for an Indian restaurant but this one is two thumbs up. I gave it a full rating and don’t be fooled by the simple entrance to the resturant. Try it out and finish up with a cup of Indian chai with full fragrance of exotic spices🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍
