The food was delicious, and they have a wide selection of snacks and delicious sandwiches. It was a very clean place with plenty of seating, both inside and outside, and friendly staff.

I grew up with Koemans, but this is simply unacceptable. There are 10 people in the store, but no one helps you. There are 6 people in the kitchen, half of them staring into space, while I've already been waiting 10 minutes. Do something about it. Everyone's picking their noses here. They're all 16 years old; I prefer the older, "more expensive" staff; at least they know what SERVICE and WORK are. It's too easy to blame it on a busy day. It wasn't busy at all.

I came here a few years ago. It was already wonderful then. They've been around since 1956 and are still in full glory. And rightly so. I had a lovely sit in the sun. The staff is super friendly, attentive, professional, and kind. They even came to ask if I had the wrong sandwich. I chose it with my cheese soufflé; always double-check with the guest/customer when in doubt. I had the "patatje oorlog" (war fries)—it was super delicious, the cheese soufflé was very tasty, and the shrimp croquette sandwich was also very tasty and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Voted number 1 in the hospitality industry of South Holland Cafeteria and number 3 in the Netherlands, so best in the Netherlands, and rightly so. They also have a really large and beautiful outdoor terrace where you can order with a QR code. It's busy, but they still bring it quickly. It wasn't a problem for me to move to another table, which had become available and is more sunny. They also have burgers, loaded fries, and much more. A truly great place. I've read that people come here from all over, which I completely understand. I've recently moved nearby. Edit I've also ordered takeout more than once for dinner. The staff is great, and they're very helpful and fast. Favorites include the deluxe cheese soufflé and Parmesan burger, as well as the "patat oorlog" (war fries) and loaded fries, which are delicious, for example.

For our local work, we were looking for a reliable, good, and affordable company to cater our lunch. We submitted our request to Koemans, through Clint. He was very enthusiastic and helped us brainstorm options. And so we did. For three days, he provided delicious sandwiches (also for our colleagues who eat halal). Everything was ready on time, crispy fresh, and absolutely delicious. I'm very satisfied and will definitely use Koemans' services again.

I regularly get a king-size wafer cone here for lunch on Sundays for just €3.50, and I'm incredibly satisfied. The flavor is delicious, always fresh, and perfectly prepared. The price-quality ratio is truly excellent; for such a competitive price, you really get your money's worth. It's become my go-to treat, and I thoroughly enjoy it every time. Today was my 3rd time that I didn't get what I asked for. I found out when I got home. My wife had already experienced the same thing twice before. I called Koemans but it didn't yield anything and we don't use 3 euros of petrol to drive back and forth for a 2 euro frikadel. I made it clear that the staff should listen better to the customers, especially because it has already happened 5 times to 2 different people. Sorry, it was busy, I was told. That is not an excuse, and I don't say it to my customers either. I will solve it immediately or next time where I can compensate my customer. At Koemans, it works differently

Is there a new owner? Always a great place, but this time disappointing. They don't have any bratwurst anymore, so I had a bear claw. Brrrrr burnt onion rings and bone dry minced meat. Sorry, I won't be going here again.

Ordered fries with stew for 9 euros. Got few fries and 3 spoons of stew, didn't think this was worth my 9 euros. Otherwise it was fine but very meager.

This snack bar really does not live up to its reputation as a good place. Dry frozen fries with mini portion of sauce for 4.95. When we asked for a little more sauce with these dry fries, we were presented with the additional price of 1.10. We refused this. So no.

We don't buy here that often anymore, because you always have to check if you got everything. Tried it again and yes, of the 8 items ordered, we only got 3. We are really done with it now and will not come here anymore.

Too bad, bad fries, all little leftovers, frikandel overcooked. Staff does their job without too many words. Very impersonal. Terrace fine but all decayed, no atmosphere. The trash can is rather unappetizing in the middle of the terrace. Prices are just high, especially sauces very expensive. No more Koemans for me. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° FYI: What the Koemans management does not understand about this review is completely unclear to me. Expired means best time had, trash can in the middle of the terrace, place it in a special corner with space for staff to clear away. And not next to the customer who is eating! And being served a portion of leftover fries with an overcooked frikandel report to your staff? I did describe what I thought of your staff, but I didn't get the impression that I could ask anything more about it.

I was told that Koemans has the best chicken burgers in The Hague, and boy, were they right. Furthermore, top service from the boy behind the cash register, he was welcomed with a smile and he made sure everything was to your liking. I would definitely recommend this snack bar to others!

Always a party at Snackbar Koemans! The loaded fries at Koemans are highly recommended – richly filled, full of flavor and delicious every time. But don't forget the burgers: juicy, fresh and perfectly prepared. You can just taste that attention is being paid to this. After dinner I always take their new iced coffee – wonderfully creamy and refreshing. Truly the perfect ending! What makes it complete? The service. I always receive excellent service, with a smile and personal attention. Koemans is not just a snack bar, it is a place where you feel welcome and eat well.

The price of menu of Vega burgers is one, but at the cashier they charge different and say they cannot do it as it says on the menu. Computer says no.Very unprofessional in my opinion. The guest should not be overcharged out of nothing for internal system issues in the shop.

Not to forget: the newspapers that are available: nrc/Volkskrant/AD/Telegraaf/Den Haag Centraal! The loaded fries with caramelized onion were unfortunately disappointing. It was not much more than a spoonful of fried onions from a packet sprinkled over it and a few lettuce leaves.

Koemans is of course known as a snack bar. Here you can not only enjoy fried food, but also sandwiches. There are many seats inside and outside (weather permitting). I used to come here as a child (15+ years ago) and it has not gotten any worse. The food is very affordable and you can easily order your food via the QR code on the table.

Last year I ate a farmer's omelet with bread twice at Koemans in Fahrenheitstraat and I was very enthusiastic about it. I had never eaten such a delicious omelette. It was then refinedly filled and creamy in the mouth. Today it was a big disappointment that there is a different chef and/or a different recipe. There seems to be less egg in it, too many mushrooms, large pieces of onion in it and the omelette was not folded in half as usual. A bland egg pancake is what's left of it. I recently visited and tried their burgers, which were very tasty and well-made. The flavors and quality of the food were definitely a highlight, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a good bite to eat. Unfortunately, the service needs serious improvement. The staff seems to leave tables cluttered with leftovers and trash from previous customers, only noticing the mess when they bring your food. This makes for a disappointing dining experience, as the tables are always dirty and often smell unpleasant from food remnants. While the food is great, the service is unacceptable. A bit more attention to cleanliness and prompt table service would make a huge difference, allowing customers to fully enjoy their meals in a clean and welcoming space.

I was here for the first time, I saw that they had received many awards for the good food. So I ordered the chicken burger for 7 euros. When I picked up the bun it tore completely apart from dryness. Not really what you would expect from such an expensive sandwich. Ras fries were okay.

I go to the Koemans very often because it is a great place to eat with friends or family. It is very cozy here and also has a nice terrace. The service is especially good and the staff is very nice. The food is delicious and the toilets are always clean. Highly recommended!
