I ordered online, which was very easy for the first time, and it was ready at the agreed-upon time. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly at pickup. Excellent.

After a long time, I ate at Kota Radja again. It felt like coming home. I really enjoyed a delicious Tipan dish. The owner is friendly and the price-quality ratio is excellent. See you soon!

Picked up the monthly menu. It was so incredibly delicious! Highly recommended! Very fresh, the chicken curry with mushrooms is excellent.

We got takeout. The service was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious again.

Today I introduced my youngest son to a Chinese rijsttafel (rice table). It was a success, partly due to the friendly and pleasant service. The restaurant is clean and attractive. The rijsttafel was delicious and plentiful. We both enjoyed the whole experience.

Super delicious. De Smoor is highly recommended! It's been a while since we've had takeout here. It was truly fantastic. All the dishes were equally delicious. Super easy to order online and quick pickup. If I have one minor complaint (you can't really call it that), it was that there was no sambal. We'll definitely be back soon.

For a Chinese restaurant, I'm very disappointed. I don't know how they got so many stars, but I definitely won't give them that many. The waiter's service upon entering was very, very uncomfortable. Instead of inviting a potential customer to a table or asking if they'd like something to eat, I had to explain why I was there, seriously (why do you go to a restaurant?). This person represents the restaurant, and they expect the most from her, right after the chef. Their knowledge of the menu seems to be nonexistent. After asking for a recommendation for a spicy chicken dish, I was told that each one is different. (Oh, I didn't know. I thought they were all the same.) embarrassing. So, I was told that the chicken curry was spicy (I couldn't believe what I was hearing). After starting my meal, they offered me some spice from the table, the name of which I still don't know, to make it spicier. 🤨 I wonder how long it had been there. It's unbelievable. This is a Chinese restaurant, so they should expect more. The menu is quite modest, but maybe that's for the best. However, after reading the menu, it's clear that this isn't a Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere suggests it, but the menu doesn't. Dishes from India, Indonesia, and I don't know where else. A mix of everything. Dishes are presented neatly and aesthetically. The portions are quite large. However, a larger man needs to consider a starter and dessert, because a main course won't be enough. As for tea, hmmmm. Supposedly a Chinese restaurant, but actually Lipton tea bags. I won't forgive you for that. The dish itself was tasty, but to call it chicken curry??? Maybe a LITE version. The chicken itself melted in my mouth. At one point, I wondered if it was really chicken. The texture of the meat was very strange. Overall, it was quite okay. You could say average. But would I go back??? Probably not. At least not with that waiter. The prices were reasonable. I would have spent the same amount in poppy seeds. Total 35 euros, so okay.

You won't want for anything here, delicious food and they make sure your glass is never empty for long... very attentive staff.

Heerlijk gegeten! Fijne bediening, en alles zeer goed bereid. Allrs kwam vers over. Echt wel een van de beste chinese restaurants.

Je kan hier heerlijk eten voor een normale prijs. Het is Chinees Indisch met een uitgebreid aanbod van verschillende keukens en ook veel meer gangen menus. Qua drankjes assortiment is het op de menu kaart een beetje beperkt maar ze hebben een prima wijnkaart en veel drankjes hebben ze wel maar staan niet op de menu kaart. Het personeel was uitstekend en dat moet ook wel want ze zijn erg van het flamberen aan de tafel, wat natuulijk spannend is voor iedereen en zeker leuk voor de kinderen. De eigenaar liep ook netjes rond om zo nu en dan te informeren of alles naar wens is.

Best Chinese in Helmond and surrounding areas, the real Chinese cuisine comes first, we have been coming there for 15 years and when you sit there, the food is 100 x better than any wok all you can eat.

Very friendly and smooth service. The dishes we ordered were very tasty. It's a shame that there are no Indian dishes on the menu. If you look this up on Google or look at their facade, this would be a Chinese/Indian restaurant but only Chinese dishes. The management team should adjust this to avoid mistakes.

We regularly order from this restaurant because it is nearby. The food is good but unfortunately something always goes wrong. Meat in the nasi or mihoen while we order without meat (for a vegetarian). Or a small portion while we ordered large, etc. and the last time there was a sweet and sour sauce, but the mini spring rolls were not included. That was a disappointment. It is not easy to check whether it is complete when you pick it up, because everything is already packed. And picking up missing things is not an option because then the rest is cold. 🤔

Food was clearly old! And super cold!!!! Asking for something extra, for example instead of noodles with the Kerry sauce, is already a big issue! Bad bad bad

Hele vriendelijke ontvangst. Met 9 broers, zussen en aanhang hebben wij op Brussendag hier aan één grote tafel gegeten. Wat een keuze voor iedereen! Met name de Tipan Hoi Sin en de Pekingeend pruimensaus waren overheerlijk. Ook voor onze veganiste was er keuze. Ieder heeft echt heerlijk gegeten in dit nostalgische restaurant. Wel grote porties .Iets te groot voor de ouder wordende mens. De bediening was zeer attent en uiterst vriendelijk. Geen luide muziek, gezellig vol en toch een rustige sfeer. Bedankt voor deze ervaring.

Time back (2 years ago?) I ate with satisfaction. Today's take out was absolutely substandard... mealy, without any taste and without even giving the illusion that you were eating Chinese food. Maybe different owner?? No repeat for us😵‍💫

Tonight the two of us had dinner there and ordered the Shanghai menu. It was excellent, no complaints could be found. We were able to adjust the menu on some points to make it more to our liking. I don't understand how anyone can say anything negative about this. Very friendly staff and everything was delivered to the table at sufficient intervals. A big 10 for us.

Delicious food. Delicious fish menu, tasted perfect. A few things were changed after consultation, but that was no problem. The time between the dishes was nice, it can drop a bit and you don't get that rushed feeling that you have to leave the house quickly. I don't understand where the bad reviews come from because this was all great! A big 10 from me for staff and food.

Ordered at 6:20 PM with 7:00 PM as pick-up time. Food wasn't ready until 7:50 PM. The reason given was that it was busy (don't take any more orders...). As you can imagine, the atmosphere among the large group of people waiting was not friendly. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the wait or the money: too watery, too bland and clearly prepared far too quickly. Not sure if everything was well done. This was once but never again!

Friendly service and reasonable prices but food of very mediocre quality. The gado gado (normally with crispy vegetables) was a mess of greasy peanut sauce under which were flat tasteless vegetables. The breaded sole in chili sauce turned out to be fish cubes in a sweet, sticky packet sauce. Whenever we made a cautious comment about the gado gado, we received the response "well, we always put a lot of sauce on it..." We left dessert and left.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening in dit klassieke, ouderwetse stijl Nederlands Chinees restaurant. Hier geen echte Chinese keuken, maar de Nederlandse variant, perfect voor wie er van houdt. Dit is (stilaan bedreigd) cultureel erfgoed. Chinees met mes en vork ! Enige opmerking is de betrekkelijke kwaliteit van de rijst, die veel te droog, smakeloos en korrelig was. De gerechten waren heerlijk. Prima genoten van deze nostaligische beleving.

Een vrij standaard 'Chinees-Indisch' restaurant. Erg vriendelijk personeel, maar van het eten werden we niet ontzettend enthousiast. Hadden er meer van verwacht gezien de hoge klassering van dit restaurant.

Beste Chinees restaurant van Helmond en omstreken. Al tijden ons favoriet, er gaat niets boven de heerlijke gerechten van Kota Radja op de vrijdagavond! ❤️

Eten en befiening is heel goed,het restsurant is al vele jaren hetzelfde,verouderd.

Heerlijke gerechten en een fijne service bij kota ratja.

We hebben een leuke zondagavond gehad bij dit restaurant, dat helemaal vol zat. De inrichting is zéér sfeervol, muziek, ouderwets maar alles in goede staat. Van het eten vonden we alles lekker tot heel lekker, maar de bami en nasi zijn wat flauw en standaard en ook de kipsaté vonden we niet zo. Toch is het een verrassend restaurant met veel keuzes op de kaart. De ‘cocktail’ Hong Kong Pleasure met ijs is een echte aanrader!

Vlees en groente was oud. Service vriendelijk maar koud. Ambiance gedateerd.

Altijd bestellen we bij jullie. alleen vandaag gingen we afhalen en kreeg mijn zoon geen wisselgeld mee en kon dus terug na nakijken netjes terug gekregen te hebben nu wel koud eten thuis dus dat is wel erg jammer

Jammer dat ik als vegetariër toch vlees heb gegeten. De soep zou zonder vlees zijn....ik vind kip ook vlees en dat zat dus in de soep!

Altijd geslaagd...afhaal of ter plaatse eten. Als wij in het restaurant gaan plaatsnemen dan is vrijwel altijd het Keizerlijk menu wat er besteld gaat worden. We komen hier al zeker 25 jaar en vooral de gastvrijheid van de eigenaar is zeker een van de grote pluspunten maar ook het eten is zeker een aanrader. Nu hopen dat de nieuwe eigenaar de kwaliteit kan waarborgen.
