Unfortunately, everything was downright not tasty.

The food was good. Boring interior.

The pangsit, Chinese spring rolls with sauce, were delicious. We shared two Tipan dishes. The tenderloin was super tender and flavorful. You couldn't really taste the chicken because of the overpowering sauce. Unfortunately, there was no variety in either dish. Both had the same sauce, but it was delicious with lots of onions and bell peppers. That's a shame because it makes everything taste the same. Perhaps it would be an idea to vary the sauce and vegetables in each dish for sharing, such as bamboo shoots, sugar snaps, snow peas, corn on the cob, etc., and add some nuts. The service was very friendly and incredibly fast. We were out the door within an hour.🤣

We had a delicious meal, and the service was excellent! Because there was a funfair right outside in connection with the Ganzenmarkt (Gan Market), it wasn't very busy, so there wasn't much atmosphere, but we'll definitely be back! Kota Radja surprised us.

I wanted to order an Indonesian rice table for one person. €18.50 isn't cheap, but then again, everything gets expensive. Then they added €0.70 for the rice. Why? This is a rice table, isn't it? Paying for nasi, bami, or something like that is okay. But rice? Then they added €5.50 for delivery boxes. Why? Delivery to Coevorden, according to their website, is €3.50. I live in Coevorden. When I mentioned that, I got a sharp response: no! €5.50. My response: never mind.

You can enjoy Chinese food there

Gisteren met zijn vieren hier gegeten. Ik zelf heb coeliakie en moet derhalve glutenvrij eten. Dat was geen enkel ptobleem! Ik heb een tipanschtel met mini-loempia’s vooraf gegeten. Bij de tipanschotel werd een zwarte-bonensaus geserveerd ipv de soyasaus. We hebben aale vier héérlijk gegeten en de bediening was meer dan vriendelijk en ter zake kundig. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen, met elke mogelijke voedselallergie wordt rekenin gehouden!

It was very expensive. Two people ordered a menu and it cost €30 per person, so €60 and we didn't even get full for the price. The food was mediocre for the price. There are also Indian dishes but there was only Chinese food. Went out very disappointed.

Had dinner at Kota Radja last night. We were served by a very nice lady who worked quickly and correctly. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed it. Although the restaurant has everything, clean, tidy, nice decor, there was one major bother for me...... The lady behind the counter who took care of the orders was very loud in handling the orders, it seemed as if she was playing a "bingo" game so that everyone could hear the numbers clearly. A sneer was also regularly given to the kitchen. Of course I understand that it was quite busy and that things have to be arranged properly, but for me it could be a little less loud. All in all it was a successful dinner.

Although the reviews seem good, the menu was very disappointing. Babi pangang made from chicken legs is very special. The remaining container contains lots of bean sprouts and 2 or 3 pieces of chicken. And not to forget a lot of moisture in the containers.

We have been regular customers here for more than 20 years, and before the takeover it was always good. Owners knew exactly who we were and always had a chat, so it was also a social experience. Lots of positive memories. That means I gave the new owners a lot of time and space to get things in order, but it is still a big disappointment. The quality of the food is mediocre, the atmosphere and service in the restaurant leave much to be desired and what happened to me yesterday while picking up food was the final straw for me and my wife. Not only did we receive the wrong order, with my name and order number on the receipt. But they were also not helped when exchanging at the cash register, after I had first driven home. No apologies, was given the cold shoulder. The bag itself was not handed over or placed on the cash register where I was waiting, but was walked to the exit and placed on a table there. I ran after it and went back to the cash register to fish for a "Sorry", but I couldn't get it off. Even a tasty meal could not be removed and to make matters worse, I was told by the gentleman who should have received the other bag that this was not the first time. I stayed calm and collected yesterday, because shouting and ranting doesn't get you anywhere, but that doesn't mean I wasn't/am not angry. You have lost a regular customer in your own hometown Kota Radja, we will no longer come.

Sinds de nieuwe eigenaren hier weer heen gegaan. Het eten is lekker ondanks nieuwe toevoegingen. We komen zeker weer een keer terug.

Great restaurant, absolutely recommended. We have been regular customers for years. A small point deduction for the food, as the sauce from the Babi Pangang seems to have changed and I personally don't like it anymore. Please make your original sauce again, it was 1000 times better

During our recent visit to Kota Radja, my husband and I decided to enjoy a Tipan dish. I chose the Tipan with tenderloin tips and vegetables, while my husband went for the Tipan with shrimp and vegetables. As a starter we shared a large spring roll. The spring roll was an excellent start to the meal. It was wonderfully crispy on the outside and richly filled, with a tasty filling that was perfectly seasoned. This starter gave us high expectations for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, the main courses were a bit disappointing. The Tipan dishes arrived at the table sizzling and steaming, which is always an impressive start. However, the taste disappointed us. The sauce, which is an important part of a Tipan, was too heavy and overpowered the rest of the dish. This made the whole thing too strong and monotonous in taste. In addition, the vegetables, which should have been a fresh and crunchy counterpart, were overcooked and therefore flat and tasteless. The service deserves a compliment. The staff were friendly and attentive, which certainly contributed to a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. Although the starter positively surprised us, the main courses were unfortunately not what we had hoped for. With some adjustments to the preparation and a lighter sauce, this could be a much better experience.

Takeaway is fine. Order online and pick up. The meals are delicious. Kota Radja is our standard Chinese restaurant.

Not really a favorite, ordered a few times hoping it would get better but unfortunately. Easy to reach, plenty of parking and there is a long waiting time for delivery.

Had dinner here tonight with the three of us. We had the Indian rice table for 2 people. And the three of us ate here. And that was more than enough for us then. We started with a delicious Chinese tomato soup and then had all kinds of Indian dishes. This was served on warm dishes and placed on a warming plate. So we could eat in peace. Everything tasted really good. The staff is really super friendly. We will definitely come back here again.

Had a delicious meal at Koto Radja tonight. The reviews were good, so we went in. We took the restaurant's specialties, a Tipan dish with nasi and my wife with noodles. That tasted really delicious. The service is polite and comes by regularly. Highly recommended.

This time we made it for 6 people, but it's a pity that I noticed too late that I was given foeyonghai instead of vegetarian but with shrimp. That wasn't nice, I was able to get rid of more than half. Other than that there is nothing wrong with it at all, it was all tasty. I

Kleine chinees lijkt zich meer te richten op de afhaal

Het beste Chinees-Indische restaurant waar ik in jaren heb gegeten. Heerlijk gegeten voor een goede prijs. De gerechten waren goed van smaak. Bediening ook erg vriendelijk. Het restaurant is qua inrichting er modern en zou iets sfeervoller mogen. Bij ons volgende bezoek aan Drenthe komen wij hier zeker weer.

Hele vriendelijke ontvangst. Heerlijk gegeten en hele fijne sfeer! De kleinkinderen kregen bij het weggaan een zak cassave mee en de jarige een mooie fles wijn.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein Besuch wert wenn man in die fernöstliche Welt der Genüsse eintauchen möchte. Eine reichhaltige Speisekarte die kaum Wünsche offen lässt. Und dann ein Service der sehr gut organisiert ist. Ferner wird für Abholer ein Angebot des Monats angeboten, dass immer attraktive Speisen anbietet zu einem günstigen Preis. Ich liebe dieses "Maandmenu"!

Nettes Restaurant. Leckeres Essen. So, wie man es gewohnt ist.

Er was een goede vegetarische keuzen. Wij hadden het driegangen vegetarisch menu gekozen dit was goed maar niet geweldig. De service was wel echt top. En het aardbei sorbetijsje is een aanrader.

Heerlijk eten en de pittige sambal is een aanrader voor de liefhebber van echt pittig eten!

Sinds een tijdje staat er een andere vrouw achter de balie, dit is toch een zeer onvriendelijk persoon, en tevens snapt ze er niks van rekenen kan ze zeker niet. Zojuist haalde ik een maandmenu en wilde daar ipv gewone bami graag Chinese bami bij dat was geen probleem toen het klaar was zag ik op mijn bon dat ik gewoon de volle prijs voor de Chinese bami heb bijbetaald en de bami/nasi of witte rijst die normaal bij het maandmenu geleverd wordt niet van de prijs was ingehouden. Hierop sprak ik deze vrouw aan en kreeg als antwoord dat dit normaal en goed was, ik zei geef me dan maar een portie nasi want die heb ik wel betaald, waarop ze zei dan moet u weer extra betalen. Ik was hier al een aantal jaren klant maar hier zien ze me niet meer, deze onvriendelijke vrouw snapt er echt niks van!!! -------‐--------------------------- Bedankt voor uw reactie, maar ik denk dat u dan toch is moet kijken op uw eigen prijslijst daar staat namelijk een bedrag van €6,00 voor een grote chinese bami en geen €11,00 zoals u in uw reactie vermeld!!!

Halve portie babi pangang gehaald en half portie tjaptoy. Babi panging heel 14,70 en hele tjaptjoy 11,70. Halve babi pangang 11,10 en halve tjaptjoy 8,80.. Zeker chinees rekenen want in hollands rekenen komik veel lager uit. Bah……..

We waren in Coevorden en moesten nog eten. We hadden niet gereserveerd maar er was nog plaats. We hadden heerlijke tomatensoep en de ossenhaas met groenten was ook overheerlijk. Mijn vrouw genoot van de ajam pangang. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en hadden alles onder controle. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Coevorden heeft ons enorm verrast. Het stadje, de mensen en de totale ambiance. Om 18.00 uur zijn we lekker gaan eten in het Chinees- Indische restaurant aan de Markt. Het was geweldig. Qua bediening, qua eten en het totale plaatje heeft ons enorm bekoord. .. Een fijn restaurant, waar enorm veel inwoners ook hun eten afhalen ! Een prima zaak en dus echt een aanrader !

Voorheen een van de beter Chinezen in de omgeving, maar na dat er een andere eigenaar op zit merk je dat dezelfde kwaliteit niet wordt gehaald.

Die beste chinesische Rijstafel die ich je gegessen habe!! Sowas von lecker!! Preislich auch absolut mehr als fair. Unser kleiner 2 Jahre alter Sohn war auch herzlich willkommen und wurde mit Hochstuhl und Kindergedeck versorgt. Klare Empfehlung von mir. Wir werden in diesem Urlaub auch noch ein 2. Mal hingehen 😋

Smaak fantastisch, de beste uit omgeving… Maar je krijgt al minder voor al meer geld, dat is een reden voor mij om weg te blijven, iets meer moet betalen oké, maar schrap er dan niet wat af!!!!! 30/40 euro is niet niks!!!! Probeer nog 1 keer en dan is het echt over!!! Met pijn in mijn hart, en velen zullen volgen!!!!!

Hier MOET je gegeten hebben. Zeer goede keuken. Gebruiken ook kwaliteitsmaterialen welke goed bereid worden. Bediening is buitengewoon prettig en adequaat. Rekening is duidelijk uitgelegd en niet te hoog.

Snelle en vriendelijke bediening. Geweldig eten en dat alles van voor een schappelijke prijs.

Vanavond heerlijk tipan gegeten!

Voldoende ruimte, niet te lang hoeven wachten, vriendelijke bediening, heerlijk eten.

Het is een geweldig restautant aardige mensen en ook dat het een famillie restaurant is. Groetjes uit Westervoort.

We merkten dat het eten (afhaal) anders was, dus dachten een mindere dag, overkomt iedereen. Maar de volgende keer was het weer net zo, en de kip was plotseling uit de foe yong hai verdwenen. Dus toch maar eens gegoocheld. Toen zagen we dat er verandering van eigenaren had plaats gevonden, erg jammer. Voorheen was het eten uitstekend, nu oké maar niet top.
