What fantastic, delicious food. Super fresh, excellently prepared dishes. Wow. But also excellent service. Very customer-friendly. And all of this in a super relaxed, cozy, homey atmosphere. In short, highly recommended! You simply have to eat here!!!!

In a living room atmosphere—warm, cozy, and welcoming—we enjoyed the vegetarian choices on the mezze menu. As far as I am concerned, the vegetarian options (both hot and cold) could be a bit more extensive, especially regarding vegetables, but what we tasted was very good and certainly surprising in terms of flavor. If we are in the area, we would love to come back. We noticed that reservations are necessary.

When we mentioned this to the wait staff, there was no response. It is a shame, considering this menu costs 50 p.p. You would expect to be full at that price.

The service was certainly friendly. However, I find the price-quality ratio a bit off. I think a relatively small piece of baklava and one scoop of vanilla ice cream for €12.50 is too expensive. The main course was otherwise fine, but not exciting enough to make us return soon. Therefore, I rated it average.

We have been coming here for years and are always happy. Fair prices, good portions, and friendly service. The owner and his father are also always up for a chat. Bringing a baby is no problem at all. When my wife accidentally knocked over her glass of wine, a new one was brought on the house. Very thoughtful. By far the best Greek restaurant in Deventer.

We had another super delicious meal for the third time. We discovered a wonderful wine on Crete last year. After asking if it was available to order here, we were given a very good alternative. Average restaurant! Food was average. We feel it was a bit overpriced given the quality of the food!

We waited for well over an hour and eventually left without food, because the waitstaff had forgotten to pass our order on to the kitchen. When I asked about the status and appropriate compensation after such a long wait, I was addressed by the cook (the father) in a very unprofessional manner. He told me that I “had no say in the place” and that I “should just get lost.” As if that wasn't enough, we were called back to pay for the drinks after we were already standing outside. I have never experienced such customer-unfriendly treatment. Once is enough, but never again.

Very tasty food, authentic Greek dishes of high quality. The staff is very busy when there are many guests, but that does not make the service any less pleasant. Also a large selection of beers and tasty cocktails on the menu.

This is highly recommended. The weather was nice and we had a spot on the terrace behind the restaurant. The food is good; we had a sort of surprise menu, very tasty, and quite a lot too, you really have to try your best to finish it ;-) Very extensive beer and wine list.

We had an excellent meal. The nice thing here is that you can try various small dishes together (mezedes) and that they have diverse dishes that you don't typically find in a Greek restaurant. The highlights for us were especially Loukaniko (spicy sausage) and the Metsovo bites (cheese balls). The desserts were also delicious.

Unfortunately, that's not the case at every Greek restaurant, but at Kreta, they make their own vegetarian mince for the moussaka! So delicious! The staff were very friendly and worked hard together. After all these years, I finally had dinner at Kreta with a friend. All expectations were exceeded. Okay, we had to wait a bit at first, but how bad is that in a charming restaurant where everything is perfect?

We had a wonderful meal here during our weekend in Deventer. It's definitely worth the rating. The menu isn't too extensive, which often means the quality is better. And you can taste it! Delicious vegetarian dishes, quite different from other Greek restaurants, including some familiar dishes, of course. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant was packed, yet it didn't sound like you were in a market; the acoustics are excellent! I highly recommend it!

We ate there on Boxing Day. Nice atmosphere and cheerful service. Drinks were served quickly. Due to the crowds, we had to wait a bit longer for our courses. But that's understandable when the place is full. The food was excellent. The only point of constructive criticism was that the receipt said mayonnaise, but I didn't get it. I don't mind it on these busy days.

My husband and I had made a reservation for Christmas Eve at their restaurant. First, we were given a menu without a price and told we had no choice but a four- or three-course meal that evening. I found this completely unacceptable, as we hadn't realized they should have mentioned that when we booked online. Then we waited half an hour for a beer. When the food finally arrived, it was much smaller than usual, and the steak was medium rare, almost raw, while it was well-done, as they usually do. They should have asked us what kind of steak we wanted. We paid €160, and I was absolutely dissatisfied. I was only satisfied with the staff's attitude.

An intimate Greek restaurant with an enthusiastic son who wants to give guests a taste of Greek cuisine beyond the usual. A GREAT JOB!! Make sure you make a reservation, as you're unlikely to get a table if you just show up on a whim. This certainly speaks volumes about this restaurant!

The food was excellent, and the owner's enthusiasm was palpable. It's a very nice place and reasonably priced.

After having eaten there deliciously twice before, this time it was a bit disappointing. That was due to a few things. We had to wait a long time for our drinks. The restaurant could earn much more if they paid more attention to that. We only had two drinks per person. We never received the mayonnaise we had ordered. But the most disappointing thing was the moussaka. I had eaten this a few years ago and it was so incredibly delicious then. Based on that experience, I ate there again. And so my daughter ordered it too. This time it was as if the chef had forgotten the salt and spices. Tasteless. A soggy substance. We both left half of it. The other dishes (starter, desserts) and the main courses of the other 4 table companions were delicious, by the way. The desserts also looked truly beautiful.

We enjoyed a delicious meal from a selection of Greek dishes with their own unique twist in a crowded yet cozy restaurant. We felt very welcome, a real night out.
