Apparently, they've suddenly disappeared. Aside from the excessive salt on the fries, I've always had good food and fast delivery, always complete orders. Too bad they apparently didn't make it!

Ordered to pick up in 30 minutes, finally went there to pick it up, then was told that the kapsalon was suddenly not available, called by phone but they didn't have it then 30 minutes later the order was correct, the order was wrong, there was no satay sauce on my frikadel and the business is run by 5 people and then almost an hour wait, finally paid 24 euros for 1 large and 1 mini fries, frikadel and Mexicano, there were also no napkins and no fork, now I can clean my pants and t.shirt for hours to get it out and now I have to go to the hospital because of salt poisoning and a sky-high hospital bill and also the blood pressure has risen by 150

My blood pressure is sky-high now because of the amount of salt on the fries. The hamburger was good, though. Unfortunately, the order was completely wrong, and we were missing half of it. We also had to wait a very long time.

The frikandels are out of date... Really sickening. Nothing in stock, fries really extremely salty, uninterested staff while the owner is really nice. I wonder how long this case will last. We will never order from here again.

Bad business. The guy doesn't understand how the ordering system works and calls his colleague. It takes a while for my order to be entered into the computer. He doesn't know what a spring roll special is and isn't aware of any other products in the assortment. I'm the first to arrive, after four other customers, and I'm one of the last to leave. I had to wait 30 minutes. The business is run by three guys, I guess about 15 years old. There's no owner in sight. The spring roll special didn't come with satay sauce. The fries were soggy and the chicken burger dry. The bueno from the soft serve ice cream was only on the lid; the rest of the container was just soft serve. The food was also cold. These guys have no idea what they're doing. You can't expect quality. Where is the owner? How can you leave these guys to their fate? We won't be coming back.

Unable to contact them. Ordered through Thuisbezorgd. Never received the order. Tried calling repeatedly, only to be answered and immediately hung up. Very unfriendly customer service! And I can probably kiss my money goodbye!

Disinterested staff are more busy on the phone than with customers. The food is good, but it's strange that if you order a chicken shawarma dish, you don't get any sauce, and everything is wrapped separately, not in a single package. Several dishes were out of stock even though they were listed on the plate. They won't see me again. I've visited various restaurants, such as Huizen and Weesp, for example, and Bussum can still learn a lot from them.

Really so bad... the initial service was very disinterested. Then I got my "meatball" and I couldn't believe my eyes! A huge container, literally 3/4 full of mayonnaise, was poured over it, and then a (whatever) meatball was sliced off the baking sheet and dunked in the sauce on top. No exaggeration at all, absolutely impossible to chew! Highly recommended!

I waited two hours for food I ordered online. I ended up picking it up myself. The order was also wrong. The food was cold. In short, I won't be ordering from here again.

Nice place where the food is ready on time and they have good service. The owner is also super nice. Update 2025: Unfortunately, they no longer have vegetarian burgers on the site, which we regularly came for! Unfortunately, a reason for us to come here less often :(

Food is soggy. Fries are not edible. Before he made my fries, the owner scratched my butt and then put his hand in the chip bin and in the deep fryer. Incredibly antisocial. I WOULD NOT ORDER HERE. HORRIBLE!!

I come here to pick up food about once every 2 months. Every time the order is not ready at the indicated time, and I have to wait in the store for more than 15-30 minutes. People often apologized politely and said that it was busy. It seemed really busy at these times, so I can imagine that. I've also gotten something to drink or a milkshake for free, which is nice. I did find it strange that when it is so busy they indicate on the site that you can pick it up within 30 minutes of ordering, while they never actually manage that. Then adjust the time accordingly. Today was also the last straw unfortunately. Ordered online, at 4pm. It was indicated that I could pick it up at 4:30 PM. I come in at 4:30 PM, the fryer was just turned on. An error in the system that allowed orders to be placed earlier than intended? The only employee present (and I believe also the owner) would fix it as soon as possible. But then he didn't really do his best to prepare the food and this time there were no excuses. Now I read all the other reviews and unfortunately I am not the only one who is dissatisfied..

I was once very satisfied with the service. Unfortunately they screwed up today. After waiting for more than an hour, I finally called. Phone just wasn't answered. The second time I called it was even turned off. My girlfriend stayed home and I got in the car. Then I got a call that they had arrived. No apologies whatsoever. It's a shame that if you order and pay quite a bit of money for it, you also have to take action yourself to get your food.

Ordered vegetarian burgers because they have so much choice here. A guy comes cycling by and announces that they don't have any vegetarian burgers. None at all. This is the second time we order something here that they don't seem to have. Last time, next time just go to Henk around the corner. Edit: in the end they got veggie burgers from somewhere and we got a milkshake on the house. The fries were tasty, the burgers were lukewarm with huge chunks of onion on top and hardly any sauce.

I can't say much about the atmosphere. I ordered online. Service excellent, food very tasty, large portions!! I enjoyed it.

We paid for delivery, but we just went to the store ourselves and otherwise we still wouldn't have gotten anything. The food was ice cold, half of it was out of stock and a spring roll was floating in the frying fat. Finally, it was only an hour later that we got our food and we all had pain in our stomachs!

Besides the fact that we walked in to a sweet boy behind the cash register who was alone in the shop because the boss didn't show up, our food was also bad. We're all suffering from diarrhea! Top business!

Takes orders via home delivery and then simply cancels them by email after more than an hour. At another point they didn't answer the phone for over half an hour during business hours. Lousy service, not recommended!

It is now Friday, August 23, 12:30 PM. I'm standing in front of a closed door even though it should be open at 12 noon. No note or announcement that the business would be closed. If the opening hours are different, please adjust this on your website. This doesn't make any sense at all.

Ordered food around 7:19 PM, it would arrive at 7:49 PM. I got a call around 8:15 PM to say they were out of half a chicken and if I wanted something else. I had the half chicken menu and instead of that I wanted the Teriyaki menu. Instead of the Teriyaki menu we got fries with teriyaki. They arrived around 8:30 PM and the teriyaki fries were not tasty either, the fries were soggy and everything tasted like onion. The one star is for my burger, which was tasty. So we ended up paying way too much for something we didn't want. The Kwalitaria in houses is great, but this one is very disappointing.

Fast delivery and nice delivery people Ordered 4 times, the first time was tasty, so I thought I would order here again, but now 3 times the fries were raw and with limp and hard pieces and tasted like fat. The hogweed was not what I expected and now the last time today June 6th again not good and also forgot 2 products but paid for them but to make the story short there was also a receipt from someone else with their details on it so someone else has one with my details. Now I'm done with it and will never order from here again, a waste of my money. I have often eaten at Kwalitaria in Weesp and it was delicious there.

Very good fries and super nice owner. He puts extra fries in your container and cooks them thoroughly on request! He scored 100% in the hygiene check by the franchise inspectors. That had never happened to them before, they came back the next day to bring him a cake with '100%' on it! Just ask for the photo! In terms of fun, quality and quantity, there is no better alternative!

Het Balkje is refreshed and remodeled after the old owners (35 years!) retired and found some peace and quiet. The new owners are super friendly and helpful. Menu tv screens are somewhat confusing as they rotate and are quite full. They have a bunch of "loaded fries" which are popular at the moment and we had the Korean bbq chicken and hot chicken as well as regular fries for the kids. Pretty good, nothing special, but still a change from just french fries 😁

Delivery was very fast and friendly. Food was also great, especially the Bull burger was very tasty. Overall a great tent!

Nice snack bar, (school) staff, but without hygiene they work in their own clothes and long hair and do not touch raw food directly with gloves. Fries are fried twice and given away without thinking. Expensive for low quality. Nicely decorated...

Just ordered the pulet pork and the new burger cheese soufflé chicken burger. Arrived at 9 o'clock while they were closing at 9, I was still able to be helped despite actually closing. The pulled pork was delicious and the new burger is very filling but definitely worth trying.

Wij gingen hier wat afhalen (sws een gratis advies voor alle luie thuisbezorgd klagers die snel willen eten) Hier worden wij gewoon blij van. Een ondernemer die begrijpt hoe klantenbinding werkt zonder het te overdrijven. Het valt op omdat het zo zeldzaam is hier in Bussum. Klantvriendelijk, kindvriendelijk, meedenkend. Een schone en verzorgde zaak en wij en onze dochtertjes hebben lekker gegeten. Top 👍🏼
