Super delicious quesadillas and tacos. Fast service. Everything was great, but the prices are ridiculously high.

Friendly staff and it looks nice. But I thought it was way too expensive. I didn't think the burrito was anything special. I definitely wouldn't go back.

We visited this place on 03/01/2026. One thing I must say is how good the food tasted!!! We got the nude burrito bowl (barbacoa), the burrito (barbacoa) and the quesadilla (tinga de pollo). Everything was perfect in my opinion. I had a tiny problem when ordering so I missed to click the removal of an ingredient. I am allergic to sour cream so that was definitely something that couldn't be in my meal. After I approached staff they were kind enough to replace my meal with one without the sour cream. I was extremely grateful and also ashamed since I did technically waste food. But thank you to staff that were so kind to provide an exchange. I want to add some constructive feedback: 1. The ordering system gives you 'add-ons' before the actual meal so you end up ordering more sauces and whatnot before knowing that the meal already comes with it. It's a bit confusing and would be better after the meal selection (saves the people about €2 on average I would guess, unless that were to be your intention). 2. On the actual meal selection, instead of ingredient removal option I think would be best if you ask the customer what they want instead. Saves the confusion. 3. Cutlery deserves to be upgraded. They were flimsy and overall not helpful in cutting the quesadilla's. Overall, thank you for being so kind and providing some really tasty food I've had in a long time. See you next time!

Ate here at the mall on January 2, 2026. The burritos were so full, mostly rice, that they fell apart quite quickly, so we had to eat them off the hopefully clean tray. Mostly rice, some meat, pollo, and even pork, barely seasoned, tasteless, but sour. I think the sour cream was sour. It shouldn't taste like that. Guacamole was also sour. I threw it all away. STUPID! Should have asked for a refund. Probably leftovers from the holidays??? 1 Burrito €15, Guacamole €2.50. OUTRAGEOUS

The tacos were very very wet and spungy. When i took a bite and hold it slightly tilted a stream of juice went over my pants en the table. When we were finished the bottom of the box had a layer of it thats how wet is was. Also the overall flavour was mediocre. Probably because al was washed away with all the moist.

We visited la catrina on 27/11/25. To whom it may concern, Yesterday (27/11/2025) we visted at around 2:30 PM, we were at your location in the Mall of the Netherlands, standing at the counter and looking at the menu. There were around 10+ customers around us eating their meals, so we naturally assumed the restaurant was operating as normal. After about five minutes standing at the counter looking at the menu waiting to order, one of your female colleagues approached us who were sitting right next to us at the tabled near the counter told us, “Hey guys, we’re all taking a lunch break together so we can’t serve you, bye!” in a unfriendly and rather annoyed tone. She did not offer an explanation, apology or invitation to come back later. Super unproffesional and weird seeing how the kitchen was full of food, everybody around us were eating and with enough staff but they just chose to take a full on break at peak lunch time. Your opening hours are from 11:00 to 23:00, which made the situation even more confusing. Worst experience in the whole foodcourt and def do not reccomend.

I ordered a vegan dish, but it came with cheese. The restaurant is also unreachable by phone or anything. Now I'm without a meal, even though I paid for it. It also took a very long time to arrive.

The food was way overpriced for the quality, and the tacos were a huge mess to eat. They weren't even tasty, but drenched in oil.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious and tasted really authentic. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. My favorite dish was the cochinita pibil quesadillas, they were amazing and recommended by the person behind the counter. My partner ordered the burrito, which was also really good!

The exterior is appealing, and ordering at the terminal is super easy. The lady behind the counter lovingly prepared our vegetarian burrito and mixed tacos. The tacos were okay, and so was the burrito. However, I would have expected more flavor from the tacos, as I've had them at a different location, where they're much more flavorful. It's purely a matter of taste, I guess!

I got the mixed tacos, the chicken one tasted very bad and i got a quesadilla that was served with this black tortilla which was so hard to cut or eat and it didn’t even look like a quesadilla. Also, it’s very overpriced. I would definitely NOT recommend this place.

We ordered tacos and nachos. They come with a hefty price tag, and while the meat is well-seasoned and you get plenty of it in my opinion, I find the toppings (which you have to pay for separately) extremely sparse and lack any flavor you'd expect. Something simple but extremely flavorful like pico de gallo or guacamole lacks the flavor they should. The sour cream and guacamole came in an awkward container without a spoon, so you have to try and shake it onto your food; it didn't come out easily. I also think the base price is simply too high to charge extra for such a small amount of toppings. The nachos had become a cheese soup at the bottom, so the cheese sauce was abundant. The proportions aren't very balanced in these two dishes. For each of the three dishes, we only received one napkin and a wet towel. Very little for the kind of food that gets your hands really dirty. Oh well, that happens, I guess. All in all, I don't think it's value for money. Mexican food is supposed to be a flavor-packed experience, and it simply wasn't. We left with regret, and we definitely won't be back unless they adjust their side dish recipes and prices.

Went for dinner today, super disappointing. What a tasteless, disgusting mess...extremely bad, tastes like it wasn't freshly prepared, came out of a package, and was briefly microwaved. Absolutely disgusting, seasoned with water. Don't spend your money here, nobody will eat this, believe me!

Our pulled pork and veggie quesadillas were delicious, but perhaps a bit overpriced. The cutlery should probably be left out from now on, though, because the provided knife isn't even enough to cut warm butter, let alone these hearty quesadillas...

It is a sad disappointment, when they first opened their doors they sold the best tacos, exquisite meat with its respective juice, the tortillas were fresher, today I returned and I can conclude that over the years the quality has dropped drastically and let me tell you that it is nothing like what it was, the meat is so dry and the tortilla is hard on the edges... the portion of meat is very small and the burritos contain more rice than protein, what a disappointment.

Used to come here with my daughters but recently the quality has gone down. Does not taste like it used to and many things are sloppy or even half warm. Also they shut down early pretty often and say we ran out of everything while the customer can clearly see al the food !!!!!!!!!!! If you want to stop early just adjust your closing times but don’t say your open till a certain time and almost always shut down early.

I didnt know how to operate the ordering machine.. thankfully i was helped by someone from their team and they let me order at the register!! Personally im not a big fan of ordering at screens. I was super happy with the service i receiced! Sadly my smile faded away after receicing my food. The food tasted poor and my wrap was a bit soggy.

Just ate at La Catrina. I ordered a chicken burrito and the mixed tacos. The burrito was a pile of lettuce and tasted very dry. The chicken itself was okay, but for 13 euros, definitely not recommended. The tortillas in the mixed tacos were absolutely awful; they tasted like rubber. The meat, on the other hand, was okay. I do have to mention that the La Catrina team was super polite, and it looked like a fun place! One positive note!

Had to wait 20 minutes, others with larger orders who arrived later got it first. I finally asked and received my order. When I got home, the entire order (read: one taco and one burrito) turned out to be wrong. Ridiculously bad.

They left the Shop opened and the ordering Terminals were online but no one was there. It was 9pm and they are closing at 10pm. We paid 50€ for food that we never ate because the order wasn't cooked. They scamed us. Hope they will pay us back our Money

I just waited 20 minutes for my food, which wasn't bad, but then my taco arrived cold and tough. The meat tasted good, but it was so dry, like I don't know what. Not recommended if you don't like dry food, especially if you expect something in return for the money you pay. Really expensive!

I recently ate at La Catrina in Westfield Mall, and it was a huge disappointment. The food was bland and sloppily put together. The tacos were completely soaked with an overdose of arugula, completely destroying their texture and flavor. Both the chicken and the beef had little to no flavor—it seemed like no effort had been made to add any seasoning or marinade. What made it even more disappointing was the staff's attitude. Despite tipping, there was zero engagement or friendliness. The staff looked disinterested, unfriendly, and clearly didn't want to make anything of it. The value for money is truly alarming. For what you pay, you expect at least a minimal standard of service and taste. Unfortunately, this was both my first and last visit. Absolutely not recommended.

The Food is really good. Im half latina and used to the mexican food. The barbacoa is the only burrito I eat, and by adding salsa verde and guacamole makes it Top! Im also not the type to order from a screen as it and wait for the small machine to beep. It completely takes out the human service which does that this restaurant doesnt give any service atall, any other than only making the food. No contact nothing. Which is for me a reason for not tipping as there is no service.

The burritos? Godly delicous. The sour cream? Creamiest sour cream I've ever tasted. Been eating here for the past month ish and can't get enough of the taste. I always thought to myself why the burritos don't come in a bowl or something like that and guess what... they now even have a bowl with all the burrito fillings..... a "naked burrito" if you will. Gebius!

Food is entirely flavourless. Somehow a Mexican food place is lacking in seasoning. Therefore, also really overpriced.

We ordered a chicken and meat burrito, but unfortunately it was quite disappointing. The only thing that still had some taste was the meat - and that was also dry. The chipotle sauce was missing, the lettuce was not fresh and the cheese was served as one block. We have eaten many burritos, but this one is unfortunately one of the least tasty so far.

What a disappointment! The atmosphere looked nice so we wanted to eat here. We ordered a vegetarian burrito, vegetarian quesadilla and chicken tacos. First of all, the staff was very uninterested and not attentive with the order. A container of guacamole was forgotten so we had to go back for that. This container was very small for the amount that was paid for it. Furthermore, the vegetarian quesadilla contained pork, this is absolutely unacceptable. The other dishes were bone dry with very dry meat without any sauce. None of the ordered dishes matched the picture shown on the order screen. Extra garnish was forgotten. We will not come back here!

I had the barbacoa and tinga de pollo, which were really good. I dont really like ordering at a screen and waiting for a little machine to beep, but that is my personal preference. The menu indicated which food is glutenfree (which is most except the burritos)! Doesnt happen often that I have so much choice!

Yuck. This so called quesadilla tasted weird, was drenched in fat and the wrap was all leathery. They have tacos and burritos on the menu as well, but when we got there all they sold is these disgusting quesadillas. Ambiance is hard to find even though Westfield mall is generally pretty nice looking.

It's in the mall so that's nice, but omg their food is horrible! Friday evening during dinner time, all they had were quesadillas. It wasn't even that busy, yet they were SLOW. The taste of the quesadillas was horrible, stale, burned, thin and salty. No extra flavours, overfilled with cheese (I had the chicken version, there were like 3 strings of chicken in total). Plus they gave me the wrong drink.

Picked up tacos with slow cooked beef. I was really looking forward to it because I love it. Unfortunately, when we got home, the beef turned out to be bone dry. With every bite I had to drink something to wash it down or you needed sauce to make it a little less dry. I don't know how this is possible, because the oil/fat or gravy ran out with every bite. Mega salty also the meat. I really don't like to throw anything away, but after 2 bites I threw away my 3 tacos 😥

Today I ordered a Burrito tinga de pollo (chicken) and a nude burrito barbacoa (beef). Bowl of beef was okay, where, a year ago, it was really tasty. The Burrito was all dry hard rice and bland in taste. Chicken was hard to find and the sauce was somewhere I couldn't find it. I think it's a shame that the tent has deteriorated so much. They had really good food when they first started.

The content was also poorly seasoned. The “quesadillas” were unrecognizable, I don't know what I ate. I would advise anyone who enjoys good food not to eat here. Ate here with my boyfriend, both were really looking forward to it! Unfortunately we were disappointed with dry chicken, beef and pork and there was almost no topping other than dry meat. I ordered the trio tacos and my friend had the burrito, which was better than the tacos because it still had dressing and beans. But this too had a bland taste and contained too much dry meat. It doesn't feel fresh at all to me and I won't recommend it, we are used to a hundred types of herbs and types of peppers, but it even gave us stomach complaints (probably due to the meat). Unfortunately a downer for me…. The appearance is good because we had high expectations.

Had dinner with you for the first time yesterday; the tacos with beef and the quesadillas with cauliflower. It was very tasty! It's just a shame that you automatically have to order 2 quesadillas at a time. Even if you indicate that you want to eat your food right away, it will be put in a box for you. Very neat, but actually a waste as you will probably throw the box away right away anyway.

My child's barbacoa (beef) burrito contained a piece of bone that could easily choke you! This was clearly indicated to the staff. The only response was "sorry, we cook a lot". Not really what you call service... La Catrina, not for us anymore!

We ordered vegetarian raco here, which consists of 3 pieces. Received overcooked, wet and dirty cauliflower. This is such a waste of money. Also had a nacho for 1 person, which is also not recommended. In short, a terrible experience that I would not recommend.

Today we ate at La Catrina Mexico. The food itself is more than sufficient. I took a bowl, but the only shame is that it consisted of 25% black beans. My son's loaded nacho looked great. What I do have a problem with is the staff. I didn't find them friendly at all and as if they didn't feel like working. And for me the real turn off is that they try to charge extra money in a sneaky way. My son ordered the nacho and the woman said with chicken/pork/beef. My son already wanted to answer, but I asked, that costs extra, right? Yes she said. But what I really didn't like is that she asked me which sauce would you like with your bowl? So I asked what do you have? Well mild or hot. So I order mild. Only to find out later when I received the receipt that I was also charged for that. Look, extra sales are fine because it's a business. But then ask if you would like an extra topping or sauce for a fee. I really don't think this is customer friendly

The worst Mexican food ever. After two bites I threw away my mixed tacos. 14.00 in the trash. The taco tortilla smells and tastes terrible. To plastic. And the meat is chunks of meat and cannot be chewed. The can of coke tasted like the plastic taco. All in all 21/ paid including sauce.

Nachos tasty, tacos really 3x nothing

Got a portion of nachos today for just under 9 euros. You receive a small handful of cold nacho chips topped with cheese sauce, a black sauce and sour cream and some tomato. For that money I expect at least a warm bite with melted cheese and some more toppings. This is really freaking bad

Burrito eaten with chicken. Filled with lots of rice, it didn't taste like anything. Taste was very flat and I didn't understand it at all. You can hardly go wrong with a burrito, unfortunately I did.

Ordered burrito veggie. I expected lots of veggies and bean sauce as described. The burrito was filled with rice only and bit sour cream and few tomatoes, sla and some cauliflower. This burrito was so heavy due to the amount of rice they put in. I ordered burrito and ended up eating only white rice in wrap.

Ordered nachos here last week. What a disappointment. It had a watery cheese sauce and sour cream on top, as if it had been diluted with water. Passed this on, but didn't get the idea that they cared. She would pass it on...that was it. Very unfortunate for the €11.00

I visited the La Catrina food court and, to be honest, I can't even give this place one star. I ordered a mix of 3 tacos with different meats and burritos. And what can I say? The meat in these dishes was so disgusting that I barely took one bite. If I took a chance on the second one, I would definitely throw up. This applies to every dish! The question arises: maybe the meat was spoiled? Maybe someone likes food with the smell of smelly socks, but I'm definitely not one of those gourmets. I've been to Mexican restaurants where the dishes were really delicious, but here everything was distinguished by its terrible inedibility. The second negative impression is the failure to fulfill the promise of a refund. I returned the dishes back and asked for a refund. I was promised that the funds would be returned within 14 days. However, 21 days have passed, and the money has not been received. So besides the disgusting food, I also faced ignoring customers. Take care of yourself and avoid this place. You deserve better! Update: Thank you. I have received the money returned. Thanks for the voucher, I'll probably use it when I'm passing through.

Where do I even start, when we got there it took a hot minute for them to help us. But that didn't ruin it for us. We were excited to taste the food and we both love mexican food. I took a bite and i immediately felt something hard. I kept on tasting and it didnt get better. Most of the rice was hard and my pulled beef was not even pulled at all it was one block and I could still taste the grease. The food was also plain. So not mexcian at all. At the end of it all it felt like we had wasted our money. We will not be comming back ever again to this place you guys call mexican restaurant.

I recently had dinner at La Catrina, a Mexican restaurant in the Westfield Mall, and it was a wonderful experience! A nice detail is that the staff also speaks Spanish, which adds to the authentic Mexican experience. The menu offers a choice of delicious dishes, and I decided to go for the BBQ tacos and a pulled pork burrito. Both dishes were excellently prepared, with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh ingredients. The flavors really reminded me of traditional Mexican cuisine. In addition, La Catrina has a great selection of authentic Mexican drinks, Jarritos. These refreshing drinks complete the meal perfectly and add an extra touch of authenticity. Although the prices are on the higher side, I think it's worth it for the quality and experience you get. La Catrina is definitely recommended for anyone looking for a piece of Mexico in the Netherlands!

Very friendly people, it's a pity that at the checkout a customer was VERY unfriendly and unfairly attacked a very friendly employee! It's a shame that one person can ruin someone else's day like that!!!

Delicious food! I had the chicken burrito (recommended). There was a very antisocial woman making a fuss at the counter because she thought she had not received enough food. She also filmed the staff. Staff remained very calm and friendly. Compliments!

Absolutely disgusting. Ask the guy behind the desk what was this black stuff and he said bean, told him that it was rotten as if it was left out in the sun for days then said ok and walked away. What an absolute garbage place. I have never see bean that look like tar and taste like your garbage bin juice.

Always had a delicious meal here in the Mall, except last night. It was busy, the staff looked stressed, no one came to the till to take orders. Just like someone else said here, you see them looking and they don't come. I say too few staff! The nachos were okay, the tacos were not, they were cold and fell apart after 1 bite. You pay enough for it, then you expect there to be enough staff to guarantee quality.
