I was a little hesitant after all the reviews, but we had a really delicious meal. The service was fast and friendly, the food arrived quickly, and it was delicious. For the price, it was absolutely perfect!

The food was poorly prepared and some things were just cold. I ordered sangria, which was awful. At checkout, they asked if everything was to your liking. If you let them know you were disappointed, they don't respond. We simply left early and ate somewhere else.

We had a truly wonderful evening here last night! The food was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond. They were all very friendly. Everything was served quickly and attentively. Plenty of choices. We highly recommended the completa package, and it was a very low price too. I see a lot of negative reviews, but I don't recognize myself in them at all!

This is definitely not the place to go for culinary delights. The toast for some dishes was tough, and not every dish received the same level of attention. We sometimes had to wait for ages, resulting in people getting mixed up in the serving process. I think the disposable spoon with dessert and the ice cream in a disposable cup are simply unacceptable in a restaurant. The staff were very friendly! All in all, we had a great meal and delicious cocktails, but I won't be going back anytime soon.

It's been a long time since I've had such a bad meal. The staff clearly couldn't handle the crowds. The wait for food or drinks was long. The dishes were either completely dried out or raw. The meatballs were supposed to come in tomato sauce, but the whole container was completely dried out, and the meatballs were inedible. Raw hamburgers. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Unfortunately, we normally go to the Tilburg branch. We've never had any problems there. Unfortunately, this time we went to Eindhoven, and it was downright terrible in several ways. It was too busy for the kitchen and waitstaff. This was noticeable: slow service, cold food, the inability to keep up with the drinks (cocktails), missing dishes, etc. Also, November is Cocktail Month, with special cocktails for €4 and €3 (regular & virgin). None of the staff members pointed this out to us, nor was it indicated on the table; only the regular cocktail menu. We happened to see it on the website. The smash burger is a joke: a thick hamburger (no smash burger in sight) with a cold slice of cheddar. The burger was also undercooked, and we saw several tables leave it uneaten. Too bad!

Great food! We sat on the top floor on a Monday evening. One dish didn't arrive. Otherwise, the food and drinks were delicious! Definitely worth repeating.

Great atmosphere! Friendly staff! They don't have their own parking lot, so be aware that parking in the city center can be expensive. The food isn't anything special, but it is tasty. Perfect for 2-4 people!

Six months ago was the first time I went to La Cubanita in Eindhoven with my colleague from work. I fell in love with the food, everything was tasty, and the service was great! The food came out really fast. Since then (at least once a month) I always go to La Cubanita in Helmond with my boyfriend, and he loves it too!

Everything was amazing! Young people working really hard here. So, waiting times were okay for such a busy restaurant. I don’t understand people giving 3 stars…

Had dinner with colleagues. Hadn't been there in a long time because previous experiences weren't good. This evening the food and service were excellent.

We ate here for the first time, unfortunately my husband was unwell so we had to leave early and couldn't try everything... what we had was fine.

We were there on a Tuesday at 5 p.m. Only one table was occupied. We were turned away because they supposedly sold out. We went somewhere else to eat. At 6:15 p.m., the place was still empty. That's the thing about being fully booked. If you don't want guests, why are you open? Or was it because we had a small child with us that they weren't welcome?

We ate on the terrace with three people. Sitting outside, you occasionally have to deal with annoying, noisy drivers, but otherwise, it's a good place. I found the service good and friendly, and also fast enough. The food was fine, with some good and not-so-good options: croquettes, carpaccio, desserts, bread, tacos, and a few other things. We didn't like the kibbeling (fried fish), steak cubes, and chicken pieces. So, for a reasonable price, you can eat well, but don't expect anything special.

Last weekend we had dinner with 10 people. Dramatic! Really. Really all tapas were stale, chewy or just plain bad. The service is too young. Too little experience. Tables were left uncleaned. And one of the people in our party got sick from the shrimp and even passed over his neck on the spot. Then unintentionally had to go earlier to take the person home because he was very ill. We will never go here again. Never really.

I've been to many different La cubanita restaurants in different cities and I have to say this one was a disappointment. Some of the dishes at this restaurant aren't so tasty or well presented as other La cubanitas I've been. Very long wait for the food, some dishes never came, even after asking the waitress about it and her telling me that she order them again, still it never came, and at the end of the dinner I waited 34 minutes for 1 dessert.

We had the all-you-can-eat menu with some friends, and the food was excellent! Getting drinks proved difficult at times; it took ages to get a drink order (even after asking several times), and drinks were forgotten. To top it all off, there was a mouse running around the restaurant.

Don't go. We didn't have a reservation, but we couldn't get in with two adults and two children, even though there were four people inside. The excuse was that there was no staff. Just stay closed.

The food was truly delicious. Definitely worth repeating. And friendly staff.

After a few years, La Cubanita was given another chance, and it was also our last. We were offered a table, but after 15 minutes, no staff had come by, so I went to the bar myself to call someone. The food was either overcooked or undercooked, floating in sauce or barely tasted any sauce. The desserts were tasteless and clearly came straight from the freezer without being fully thawed. So, no next time for us.

We've been here a lot in the past...it was always good...last weekend, however, it was quite bad...the dishes were greasy and not tasty...the potatoes were floating in oil...the flamkuche was undercooked and had only 1 (!!!) small piece of salmon on it...I went to look in the kitchen and saw only very young staff and no guidance at that moment...it's a real shame for this La Cubanita, which I used to like...the preparation of the food needs to be taken seriously...I'll stay away for the time being...

Great place to grab a bite to eat with colleagues. The all-inclusive price, under €40 per person, is an excellent deal, making it hard to go wrong. We were upstairs, and the food and drinks were served fairly quickly. The quality was good, although not particularly gourmet. I'll definitely be back.

Super slow bringing the food out.

Normally we always go to La Cubanita in Weert, but this time we went to Eindhoven. We were so enthusiastic about La Cubanita that we took our friends out for dinner, but what a huge disappointment (because of the new menu). The service was excellent, the staff friendly, but it's very noisy and not as cozy as in Weert. They recently introduced a new menu, and all the favorites are gone. So tonight we tried a lot of new things, and what can I say? One star is already too much. Almost everything has some kind of bread or other dough, and the tacos were so "crispy" (almost burnt) that you couldn't really taste the contents. No, we used to go to La Cubanita monthly, so we won't be going back. We won't be going to Weert either, because the new menu is a real disappointment, and the food is simply not good anymore. If you do like the food, which we can hardly imagine after today's experience, then choose Weert over Eindhoven. It's more than worth the extra drive. If they bring back the old menu, we'll go back, but with the current menu, we won't be seeing them again. Such a shame.

We visited the cozy restaurant on a hot day. Our table was close to the air conditioning, which caused some people in our group to get cold towards the end. The food was good, but nothing special. The service was a bit chaotic, and ordering was done via an app... and then it had to remember what you'd ordered. The staff doesn't have fixed table numbers, so we had to deal with different servers at our table, who were sometimes difficult to understand. Drinks often had to be ordered long, even though they also had to be ordered via the app. All in all, we enjoyed the food and drinks. The banana mocktail was delicious.

The place looks beautiful, you feel the Latin American vibes. But the food isn't that special it is inspired by Cuba but the flavours are very much Dutch. The chef just have to pay more attention to get the right flavours and plating it more with style. It was okay but not a place we will be back.

They consisted of exceptionally fresh tomatoes and although there was a bit too much sauce on them, they were well seasoned and flavorful. The watermelon salad was also a particularly successful dish: small pieces of sweet watermelon were combined with crunchy lettuce, almonds, creamy feta cheese, a subtle hint of mint and a well-balanced dressing that transformed the whole into a true summer dish. **Main courses and strong flavors** The chorizo ​​croquettes were among the highlights of the evening. The outside was perfectly crispy and the inside silky soft with a strong, savory chorizo ​​flavor. The accompanying piccalilly mayonnaise showed attention to detail; it was refined, fresh and complimented the croquettes perfectly. The dish with cheese and mussels was slightly less successful. Although the mussels themselves were tasty and well-cooked, the smell of the cheese used was so intense that it distracted from the dish. In this case, the well-known expression “what stinks, tastes good” unfortunately turned out not to be true. The taste of the cheese was even stronger than the smell and overpowered the whole. Fortunately, this was more than compensated for by the prawns with garlic oil. The prawns were perfectly prepared, juicy and tasty, with the powerful garlic notes in the background and a fresh touch of lemon that brightened up the dish. A real treat. The tagine with chicken gyros and feta cream also deserves praise: the gyros was buttery soft and full of flavour, while the airy cream elegantly rounded off the dish. **A sweet finale** To conclude, we enjoyed a refined lemon meringue pie. The cake was nicely balanced: sweet with a refreshing hint of lemon, light and not too heavy. The Rocky Road brownie was also a hit. What made this brownie special was that it was not overly sweet, which allowed the rich chocolate flavour to come into its own. A successful conclusion to a tasteful evening. **Service and atmosphere: warm and welcoming** Not to forget, the staff was extremely friendly, involved and social. Their enthusiasm and professionalism made us feel welcome right away. The music in the background – although somewhat present at first – ultimately turned out to contribute to the overall experience. An absolute must for anyone looking for a lively, tasteful and relaxed culinary evening.

The food was all very tasty and nicely presented. It generally didn't take long after we ordered to be served. Maybe because it wasn't that busy. Only the last dessert took a relatively long time (about 17 minutes). Cocktails are reasonably priced and the service was good.

Terrible experience. The food was cold as if it came directly from the freezer and when we complained they apologized and we were told to keep them up to date with whether the next course was better. The next course tasted poorly and wasn’t great. When we told the staff this they brought us the check for the full price unprompted while we had barely ordered anything, said it was throughly a shame and whether that would be all. They blamed the bad food on “safety regulations” telling them to put the settings of their fridge a certain way and told us that they didn’t really like their own food anymore either. Other restaurants seem to be able to cook in a way that is both safe and tasty and I’m sad that that doesn’t seem possible here. Overall a terrible experience that was poorly handled by staff.

Overall a very nice concept. However, all dishes lack taste and care. Some flavors do not fit together, I thought it was a shame. Very young staff who are fine but also need guidance. Receipts that are on the food so that they know which table it should be brought to, not hygienic. The place itself could also be a bit cleaner in my opinion. After our previous (lesser) experience we gave La Cubanita a second chance. After entering we waited fifteen minutes for the first contact with an employee. Then we placed our order, drinks arrived after another fifteen minutes and another 10 minutes later 1 of the 8 dishes. 1 warm dish..bread for the kids in advance (also the extra ordered bread) was nowhere to be seen. People around us warned us, they had been sitting there for a while without having eaten much and rounds that had been skipped. Also the toilet was closed and a few more strange stories. We paid for the drinks. And left. We went to eat somewhere else. We will not be returning to La Cubanita.

My absolute favorite is the Malibu pineapple – just perfect. 🍹💛 The atmosphere is cozy and the decoration is beautiful, which really adds to the experience. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome straight away. 👏✨ I recommend LA Cubanita to anyone looking for delicious food, fantastic cocktails and a great ambiance. Zaterdagavond gaan eten bij la cubanita Eindhoven De gekende formule is getest en goedgekeurd, de service was in het begin wat traag maar werd beter naarmate de avond vorderde. Het eten was goed en warm en verzorgd. De prijzen zijn eerlijk, de drankjes nogal veel ijs en zwak van smaak maar wat wil je voor die prijs. Kortom, lekker gegeten, gezellig en rustig interieur voor een aangename prijs.

We were there at Christmas and it was fully booked. Nevertheless, it went like clockwork. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. The prices are fixed and we do not think they are too high. It is nicely decorated with plenty of space between the tables.

In terms of value for money, it’s fair to say it’s decent. However, when considering the atmosphere, taste, and service overall, I’ve been to better places.

Last year we had dinner with the entire company at the location in Den Bosch, which was very enjoyable and worth repeating. So this year we chose the location in Eindhoven that was a little closer. So far the least good La Cubanita. Much of the food was cold, was not brought to the table and had to wait 25 minutes for our drink.

Normally at La Cubanita (in every city we have been to) you are taken to the table, here you are pointed to it after waiting a long time. Then you take a seat and the floor is so crooked that you lean forward. So we had to look for another place. The cocktails are fine, just like at other locations, but you have to have a lot of patience, unlike any previous La Cubanita experience elsewhere. Waiting 25 minutes for a drink is not normal, especially if you have to remove fried meat. The food was also a joke. Cold hot tapas (cooled), it took a very long time and most of the meat was dry. The staff didn't actually say boo or bah, they were already half turned around and didn't look at the orders being delivered. There was one exception, that was a young lady serving who really seemed to have an eye for the table guests, but I actually only saw her twice on the side where we were sitting.

After 20 minutes they asked if they could register us because we could not order. Several tapas were cold, we had to wait a long time for our first drink. When paying, I am asked if everything was to my liking, to which I said no, including cold food. Nothing is done with the feedback... well, don't ask if everything was to your liking. This was a real waste of my money.

Cozy restaurant, tasty sangria, food is also excellent. Plenty of choice, fish, meat and vegetarian options. I think you can also indicate dietary wishes, but you will have to ask to be sure. Ordering is simple after you scan the QR code and you can order something every 10 minutes. You can park around the corner, there is a large parking lot (Keizersgracht) and there is also an underground parking garage across the street where you can park. Staff extremely friendly. We had a short but nice evening!

We went here for a birthday, since we were with a large group, we couldn't reserve online so after ~19 phone calls we finally had a reservation. Fine (ofcourse a large group can be challenging), so when we arrived we were seated upstairs. It was really warm (+30 degrees celcius), so we asked if they had a fan. There was an airco but it was broke, so nothing they could do. There were some open doors towards a roof terrace (which wasn't in use) so we asked if we could sit outside. This was not possible, then when some people went to stay outside they were send back cause that wasn't for guest. This is the point where due to the heat rising to the top floor with no brease or ventilation became a lot to handle. Everyone was so uncomfortable that people left the table to site outside (first on a table but that wasn't allowed) and then stood infront of the restaurant. We asked multiple times but nothing could be done. Untill one person asked to speak to the manager, after which she magically could arrange a table downstairs infront of the airco. There it was only 26 degrees which was a lot better. But this really ruined our dinner. People could only talk about how hot it was. And it is crazy that they knew it and didn't even have a fan or wanted to come up with a solution for the situation. Honestly they must have felt the 10-15 degree temp difference between upstairs and downstairs aswell. I understand you want to have as many costumers as you can. But if you reserve months in advance and then get these seats. (Without an apology or anything I must say) it was very disappointing. I hoped they would treat costumers in a way that they would want to come back. Clearly that was too much to ask for.

Many English staff. A lot of sauce. Food is almost impossible to find covered in sauce. Nasty garlic dishes. And a lot of use of greenery
