La Cubanita Heerlen in Wijk 33 Heerlen-Centrum

We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday at 5:30 PM. There were only two tables occupied. The waitress asked if we had a reservation, but we didn't. She checked with a colleague, but we couldn't eat. And this in a restaurant with I think 50 tables, of which only two were occupied... ridiculous. Whether you want to make money or not, there were only three of us. So, no more for us...

I'm actually a huge La Cubanita fan. The service and staff were friendly and pleasant. Some of the food was already cold and seemed a bit "thrown on the plate." The toilets were, to be honest, quite dirty, and literally the entire floor was sticky. Perhaps something happened that day, but it still made me wonder what the kitchen would look like, for example. Hence the relatively low rating.

The service was excellent, friendly, fast, and fun. They even made it a great evening for the kids. The food was good and tasty, and it arrived quite quickly.

Good food, easy ordering system, but the tables were a bit crowded. They forgot a few dishes here and there, and some items were out of stock. Highly recommended, though.

This is awful! Almost everything comes from the deep fryer, and dishes that are supposed to be grilled are still fried. The Civiche salmon, with smoked salmon, and many other dishes have little to no flavor. We were with a large group from work, and many of us got seriously ill, including myself. Once, but never again!

Waited 1 hour for the last order and when the order arrived it was cold

Normally when we come here, the food is delicious and hot. We've been here a few times now, and the food was both cold and unpleasant. Many things on the menu have changed. Either the food doesn't arrive at all or it arrives cold and far too late.

Extremely poor, I didn't receive half of the dishes I ordered. And what I did receive was cold, lukewarm, burnt, or undercooked. When people say they had a good meal here, I think they're not used to anything better. What a disgrace, never again!!!

After waiting a very long time for our first course, we were a bit disappointed. It just wasn't good. For the price, there are many other restaurants that are much better.

Beautiful building and atmosphere. Excellent service. The dishes were good, but a bit lacking in some places. Some sauces, such as the fish stew, lacked flavor. The steak was also a bit tough. But overall, we enjoyed it, and the cocktails were especially delicious.

Long waits, and waiting for each dish to arrive. The serving process is also inconsistent. However, there are still some tasty dishes in between. The decor and atmosphere are nice. They offer more fish and meat dishes than just appetizers.

Yesterday, I came here for dinner at 7:30 with a group of about six people. This was my first and last time—often, dishes didn't arrive at all, or only in the second round, for example, and there were only eight or nine tables occupied at most! If the dishes had been complicated, I could understand it somewhat—but the fact that the drinks always arrived with the express delivery speaks volumes to me. So, I literally paid 30 euros for two fried tacos with a few tuna cubes, three shrimp croquettes, three chorizo ​​croquettes, and some Manchego. And a soft serve ice cream for dessert—(the rest of what I ordered has "disappeared," according to the waiter.) Ridiculous.

Delicious food, plenty of choice and something for everyone!

We had a delicious meal here. We found the bar area even more atmospheric, and because it was so busy, we forgot about our drinks. Nevertheless, we had a great time. The food was fresh and delicious. Next time, we'll sit more in plain sight or walk to the bar ourselves.

Very good service with the all-inclusive option

We've been going there occasionally for years, but the food has really deteriorated dramatically. Hot dishes are cold, and the other dishes are also terrible. The excuse was, "Yes, maybe it's because the menu has changed and you don't like it." Honestly, it's not worth the money at all.

The food (most of it) is delicious. The restaurant has plenty of seating (tables are spaced far apart). The all-inclusive concept includes drinks and desserts. One drawback, in my opinion, is that you can't order drinks yourself (like the dishes) through the app. However, they did frequently ask if we wanted another drink! It's a shame, however, that the drinks are then served very slowly.

I was yesterday there and was cahotic. They didnt have enough staff, I order a lot of things and they just give me a few dishes. When we start with the desserts they start giving me the first dishes that I ordered. I will never come back.

The food was delicious, enjoyed it very much. It was nicely decorated. Staff was on the lesser side. Employee got angry when we indicated that the waiting time was a bit longer if it is good the name of the guy was sebastiaan wanted to mention this.

Haven't been there in years, but the food was better and more fun now

We had a really great meal at La Cubanita. The waitresses & manager are really made for it. Very well received. The portions were a bit big all the time. If you wanted to taste/try more, you had to share with someone. Otherwise you wouldn't eat as much. They now also have an all-you-can-eat with drinks, but they don't have a drinks menu, which is quite annoying if you want to see what you want to drink and what is or is not included in the package. And there is another disadvantage, you MUST order it via a waitress. You can't order it via the app. That's not necessarily a problem, but it does make it a bit more difficult.

We hebben hier gegeten aan de voor avond van een familie feest.na de commentaren gelezen te hebben gingen we er met gemengde gevoelens heen. Dit was nergens voor nodig .De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en we werden snel geholpen .Het eten was voor deze prijs in orde als je echter de kwaliteit van een top restaurant verwacht dat gaat natuurlijk niet men moet realistisch blijven hè.Als enige minpunt we hadden twee mojito besteld maar in ieder glas lag maar 1 muntblaadje dat is veel te weinig natuurlijk.Mocht ik er ooit nog eens in de buurt zijn denk ik nog wel eens terug te gaan.

Vandaag voor de eerste keren gaan eten. Bij binnenkomst dacht ik, oh wat ziet het gezellig uit. We kregen een fijn tafeltje toegewezen. Echter, na een tijdje merkte we dat er geen? Muziek op stond, of heel erg zacht. Dit beïnvloede wel de sfeer, na mijn mening. Wat betreft het eten, Er was ruime keuze, alleen enkele gerechtjes hadden geen of weinig smaak. Dit miste ik bij het torentje van avocado, er zat tomaat en rode ui op, alleen ik proefde de smaak sensatie daar niet van. Het zelfde geldt voor de gamba's in knoflookolie. Enkele andere gerechten miste ook die sensatie van de smaak combinatie en de versheid van de gerechten. Ook waren enkele gerechten niet warm geserveerd. 2 gerechten waren ze vergeten. Sommige gerechten die je voorheen had besteld komen na ongeveer 20/30 minuten aan terwijl andere gerechten die je later besteld eerder kwamen. Het personeel was vriendelijk, alleen het is een restaurant waar alles via een app gaat, dus gastvrijheid is daardoor wel een gemis. Kwaliteit- prijsverhouding klopt wel, Mocht je voor een fijne “goedkopere” prijs willen gaan eten , dan is het een aanrader. Maar voor iemand die van smaaksensatie houdt en een fijnproever is, dan kan het tegenvallen. Ik wil niet zeggen dat het niet voor herhaling vatbaar is, maar dat het niet geheel mijn smaak is.

Had a delicious meal at La Cubanita Heerlen! The atmosphere was nice and cozy, and the food was delicious. The service was friendly and quick with clearing up. Small downside, the restaurant was quite empty, but we were still placed close to other guests, which I always find unnecessary and less pleasant in terms of privacy. All in all, definitely enjoyed it and would definitely do it again.

A nice restaurant with tasty tapas. The food was good, the service was good. I don't really have an idea that you have to wait too long for the food. We were with 4 and you could order 2 different tapas per person every 10 min. The cocktails are cheap, the alcohol % is on the low side (or yes that was my feeling).

Alles was eigenlijk prima. Het eten was lekker. 1x iets niet geleverd, aangegeven en werd kort daarna alsnog gebracht. Misschien niet de meest zelfgemaakt en bedacht eten, maar voor die prijs helemaal prima. Personeel was wel een aantal keer aan het roddelen bij de trap en sommige dames keken erg onvriendelijk terwijl ze rondliepen. Maar dat is aan de manager ;-)

Verjaardag van mijn kleindochter. Eten was niet echt warm.weinig glutenvrije producten voor mijn kleinzoon. Met AH bon was de prijs nog redelijk, maar toch nog zonde.

Worthless restaurant, round 1 went fairly quickly, round 2 did not come and I waited half an hour before round 3 arrived. It wasn't very busy and everyone around me was eating.

It's a shame that I still have to give 1 star to do a review, because even that wasn't worth it. We came in in the freezing cold, because the heating was supposedly broken... They only said that when I started complaining about it. People were eating inside with their coats on. Then we ordered. Wrap with pulled chicken, the wrap was completely soaked with juice. Melon with ham, where the melon still had the skin on it and was very hard. Then we got meatballs in tomato sauce. The meatballs were not warm inside. The dishes were all brought one by one, which meant we had to wait a long time. The bowls were broken and the basket needed to be replaced. We complained about the poor quality of the food and a manager came to us. When we said we were going because we were not satisfied at all, we got up. The manager felt that she could do nothing about it and was indecent. Never, ever again will I eat here. I've never left a restaurant before, but this one really blew my mind. I wouldn't recommend going here!

What a disappointment... First of all, the service (young) was friendly and helpful. It started with a dirty plate and a plate with a hair... Next to us an uncleaned table that had not been cleared after 2.5 hours. Uncomfortable light, we were under a spotlight, could not be changed. What strikes me is that many reviews from recent months have been rated low, perhaps the chef, perhaps the dishes have been left out for too long, but the manager should do something about this. If you can't handle it, you shouldn't reserve so many tables, this was once and never again. It is not without reason that we were not asked at checkout whether we had enjoyed it...worthless place!

Very bad experience here. Made a reservation online ahead of time for 5 people and a baby. Unfortunately, we did not see an option when booking to add that there is a baby. Once we arrived there, we were alone upstairs, which is not possible with a baby. good experience but don't order to much, don't waste food

Nice meal. We had made a reservation, but had to wait quite a while at the entrance before someone came to help us. When someone finally came, that person took us to the table and that was it. Finally I asked someone how the concept worked. The food itself was tasty and was brought to the table quickly after ordering it with the QR code. Small snacks and a little bit of everything, really nice.

We go to La Cubanita about once every 2 years. Tasty snacks that you can order per 2. Depending on the dish chosen, one is served quickly and the other with a delay. Staff can easily reach 10,000 steps.

One of the better ones we have been to

On Christmas Day we first visited the Christmas market in Maastricht. Then no appointment for dinner. Exciting and called La Cubanita Heerlen. They still had room. A really nice large restaurant with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Delicious food and drinks.

Had a staff outing here. Very nice place with super friendly staff who are happy to explain how ordering works. Food was really tasty for the most part, sometimes bland in taste. Recommended!

On my birthday I had dinner at La Cubanita for the first time with my wife and daughter: a beautifully decorated space, very atmospheric with appropriate Cuban music. Friendly service and delicious tapas. A very nice experience, my compliments to the entire team... to be continued!

Onlangs met een stel vrienden en hun kinderen gaan eten bij La Cubanita’s in Heerlen. We hadden de ronde tafel gereserveerd maar bij aankomst was deze niet beschikbaar oké dat is dan maar zo. Bij het opnemen van het drinken bleek erheen gewoon pils te zijn was niet geleverd. Als ondernemer zorg je toch altijd dat alles wat op de kaart beschikbaar en zeker gewoon pils anders ga je toch een paar kratjes halen bij de lokale slijterij of supermarkt. Door de bediening werd een brood gebracht vooraf (dat snap ik wat is goedkoop eten) maar nadat er voor de 3de keer brood gebracht werd door het personeel vroeger we hoe dit kon waarop geantwoord werd die heb ik voor jullie besteld. Nou gekker moet het niet worden. Verder bleek dat een aantal van de gerechten op de kaart niet in de app stonden en dus ook niet besteld konden worden. In het verleden als een vaker hier geweest maar hij zullen jullie ons niet meer zo vaak zien. Dan maar “ietsjes” meer betalen en bij Pinchos in Heerlen tapas gaan eten. Dat is een wereld van verschil.

Large restaurant, delicious food

No idea if the food is tasty now. Refused on a Monday before 5:30 PM! It was full. Too few staff. This is really a shame.. Single mother with 2 little girls and I wanted to end the holiday on a nice note. Haven't gone out to eat for months and then this. Really a shame.

Tegenover 2 jaar geleden is deze zaak in Heerlen erg veranderd, niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Ten eerste waren wij een van de eerste en er waren alleen maar vieze kinderstoelen. Enkele dingen van het eten waren lekker maar meerderdeels niet het geld waard. Meerderdeels van de bediening leek geen zin te hebben om te werken. Na afloop hebben we alle buikpijn gehad. Wij raden deze zaak dus niet aan.

Wat een aanfluiting: bediening drank bot, eten ver onder de maat: koude garnalen, niet gare kleine stukjes bief, laatste kruimels uit een zak nachos , zeebaars ongebakken drijvend in de olie .....zo teleurstellend op verjaardag! In andere steden hebben wij veel betere kwaliteit van la cubanita mogen beleven. Zonde van het geld en verpest een leuke dag.

Had dinner on Sunday evening. We have been coming here for several years now and the food has always been excellent. Once again the service was good with friendly staff and relatively fast service. However, three times over the past six months it has been noticed that the quality of the food and the menu has steadily declined. Less choice, but often meat items are not in stock and unfortunately there were some misses in terms of taste experience... Now our visit last night was the highlight, where we had the feeling that much of the food had simply been warmed up and put in a pan. done or already been there for a while. As an example, the shrimps that used to be delicious in garlic or spicy oil were now delivered dry, lukewarm and with some sauce poured over them... a pity. For the time being, unfortunately, we are choosing a side trip.😔

Went to dinner with our son on Sunday evening. Were very warmly welcomed. Little was immediately offered colors and a drawing, but all that aside...the food is just so good and fresh. Certainly the best tapas and all you can eat formula in the area. The service was great, the cocktails delicious. Very successful evening out for dinner. La Cubanita is one of my favorite tapas restaurants, but the franchise in Heerlen is the absolute number 1 of the 5 Cubanitas I have been to. Big compliments to all the staff.

This pizza tastes very good, but we waited almost 2 hours for 3 pizzas. We weren't given a pickup time on the phone either, which was a bit strange.

We have eaten at la cubanita before, but this is the best so far. The food was of good quality and tastier than at other locations. Staff was friendly and there was enough space in the tent so we could still talk to each other. Did you have a nice evening.

You can order 2 dishes per person per 10 minutes, but they were never delivered at the same time. I asked where the cheese and chorizo ​​croquettes were from the previous 'round': they turned out to be still frozen in the freezer, but more than 1/2 hour later they were still not there. Cancellation was not possible at first (didn't matter for payment), but the floor manager said yes at checkout. No offer of compensation to order something else or offer a drink.
