Never come here again! -The service is incredibly slow and very unfriendly: there's a sort of timer ⏰ you can press to time it. My companion and I tried it out for fun, trying to get to exactly 10:00, and it was fun. A little later, we asked what the point of that was, and the waitress explained that you can win a free cocktail if you stop at exactly 2:26. We were eager to try this, of course, to which she replied, "Unfortunately, you've already been," even though we didn't even know what to aim for because there was no explanation anywhere. We initially thought she was joking, but she kept telling us with a serious, grumpy look that we had already been. This, of course, made no sense. The food also arrived very irregularly and took a long time ⌛ to arrive, even though it was a very quiet evening. The food itself is mediocre at best: dry toast and bread, tough meat, dripping in grease/oil. There are maybe 3 or 4 things on the entire menu that are genuinely tasty and well-prepared. If you try to order face-to-face with a waitress, they tell you to use the QR code. What happened to contact between guests and staff? Hygiene is non-existent: tables, chairs, and restrooms are filthy. The menu is covered in stains and grease. Upon arrival, I had to swap my chair for a less dirty one because it was covered in sauce. You don't get a spoon for dessert to eat your ice cream. I had to get up three times to get one from the cutlery tray, and then they give you a strange, brainless look for how you do it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also lacking, the decor is very mediocre, and it seems a bit dated. IN SHORT: ENOUGH REASONS TO NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!

Cold, the stove was broken. Much of the food was burnt: chicken wings, kibbeling (fried fish), onion rings, and shrimp with a too-dark, hard crust. Shrimp stuck to the pan. The quality had deteriorated significantly compared to previous years.

This time, it was truly disappointing again, unfortunately. We were looking forward to it, but we started with the sauce that had been forgotten with the calimari. It happens, they said they would bring it. But when I went to get it myself, it was already cold. Then the burgers arrived, which looked good, but it turned out to be only the top; the bottom was completely black. I went to the bar to show them... they were shocked. We got new ones, but we spat them out into a napkin after one bite. They were still half raw, which could make you sick, and they tasted absolutely awful. The salmon was half-cooked inside. The carpaccio was just warm, which I've never experienced before. And the sweet potato fries were just cold. I think this is absolutely unacceptable. My colleagues even said when I told them, "You could still get sick from this." Even the ice cream was half melted, and a sauce had been poured over it. I think this is absolutely unacceptable and such a waste of money. It's simply unacceptable. The staff is doing their best, but the restaurant was very full, apparently the kitchen can't handle it. Then they let fewer people eat because that way people won't come back, and when I stood there with my coat on to pay and said honestly, they were the only one who offered me a cocktail. I couldn't bear that at all, and I had already paid and was ready to leave after this fiasco. A real shame, no apologies, nothing.

Delicious food and polite service. A small mistake with one dish when it was served frozen, but we were still early. It was also annoying that it got very warm behind the window, and the special offers weren't clearly explained, so we still had to pay more. (The second one is probably not a problem with the restaurant itself, but more with the chain). My husband also cut himself on a protruding nail in the wall; the server didn't really know what to do with it. (Tip for the next person who cuts themselves: a band-aid would have been helpful 🤣)

Went to dinner with my daughter... everything has changed here! The food is really good now! We had a great time. And the hostess, Bernadet, is truly fantastic. Super friendly.

Saw the hostess once. The manager was more preoccupied with private matters with two guests on the terrace. I confronted her about it, but she didn't seem to mind. I already left a review at the request of La Cubanita (including her name and phone number), but haven't received a response.

Ugh, what a filthy place! Everything's sticky, the toilets are dirty, and the staff is more busy helping themselves to drinks than serving the guests. Everyone had dry cracks on their faces upon arrival, and this hadn't changed by the time they left. The all-inclusive concept is great for the staff, but certainly not for the customers. You ask for a small adjustment to a dish, and you simply get the standard menu item up to four times. We also recommend bringing sunglasses if you absolutely must go in here, because the sun is constantly shining on your face. Apparently, a sunshade was too much of a departure from the concept. You see everyone sitting on the sidelines with their menus up, shielding their partners from the bright sun. Maybe Gordon Ramsay could turn this into a good place, but I think he'd think twice the moment he stepped inside. It's a waste of money to spend here, yuck.

Terrible experience. We arrived on time and were shown to a table. We were helped to get started. After 15 minutes, we asked, and they said it would be taken care of. Everyone who came after us was helped immediately. After another 15 minutes, we left.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great, but whenever my family and I wanted to order drinks (all in concept), we always got something different. We ordered two cokes and then they brought one. We mentioned it and they brought nachos. We asked again for more nachos. You could order as many drinks as you wanted, but in the end, we only had one.

The drink prices are really reasonable. However, I knew beforehand that if the app didn't list prices for the food, I'd be ripped off. We ended up paying over €80, even though we would have paid only €50 for the amount of food at other restaurants. The atmosphere was too hectic and crowded.

We were seated near the kitchen and could hear loud techno coming from it, so we couldn't eat comfortably at all. The food wasn't good, and some dishes were still raw. The plates were dirty, the food took a very long time, and they weren't brought out quickly. So, I wouldn't recommend it.

My boyfriend and I recently dined at La Cubanita, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Shortly after dinner, we both developed severe stomach problems and were nauseous all night, even to the point of vomiting. Because we had recovered reasonably well the next day and both experienced the exact same symptoms, we're convinced it was due to the food at this restaurant. Aside from that, we didn't find the food particularly special. This was our first and certainly last time. We hope the restaurant pays more attention to quality, because this was truly subpar.

I've been to several La Cubanita restaurants. But the food at this one was terrible. Burnt toast, sour sauces, and rock-hard melon, among other things. They charged three adults while we had one child. Sorry, but never again. Next time I'll just go to Schagen or Heerhugowaard.

We'd eaten at La Cubanita several times before, and now that we were in Noordwijk, we decided to give it a try. We'd try it once, but not again. The food was simply not good. Burnt bruschetta, chunks of hard melon, carpaccio floating in the sauce. Simply not good. No one asked if anything was to our liking. We hadn't eaten out in a long time, but we really regretted wasting our money here.

Looking forward to a nice evening with my cousin an evening at lacuba! I often went there with pleasure. Unfortunately, this time was so incredibly disappointing. Long wait for the food and drinks. The food was not tasty. To the point of feeling sick. I certainly did not eat much and even left half of it. And that for 8 small snacks. Empty glasses, bottles and plates were not collected but new food was put down. Several times staff walked by and did not take it away. Small table so the empty plates and glasses were put on the floor because otherwise the food would not fit. This was during the 3rd round. One of the ladies finally came to collect the dirty dishes and made a comment that it was not possible to clean it up like that... a bit of a strange comment when you have already walked by 6 times. The same lady asked if everything was to her liking and she could not receive an honest answer well. My cousin indicated that the menu and the taste had become less. My cousin was told that she had heard differently about the weekend and started a discussion. That's not nice to your guests if you ask me, especially not when you hear that we are not completely satisfied. Unfortunately, from that moment on, we had to visit the toilet several times. The lady who helped us at the beginning and when paying was super sweet and indicated that she felt bad for us. I wanted nothing more than to go home, but when paying, another lady who in principle had nothing to do with it laughed at her colleague and then she also started a discussion. Unfortunately, the food was so bad that I had to go to the toilet again to spit everything out. 73 euros lighter and an empty stomach. Not recommended.

We walked in and were greeted by an overflowing ashtray in front of the door, it looked like a porcupine. At first we didn't know if it was open or still in the middle of renovation. Not much atmosphere on the outside. Inside we first had to go to the dark sticky bar to report that we had a reservation. Then we were taken to our own little crumb paradise. In between there were 4 chairs and another sticky table. We could order. I first had sauce with carpaccio, and then sauce with salmon on toast. The wine was in a frosted glass, which was also new to us. Inside it was indeed like being in Cuba. Stuffy and very hot. When I had to go to the toilet and I had first gotten rid of all the crumbs of our predecessors, I entered a room that can only be described as the last day of Lowlands in the rain. Everything was filthy and here too the remains of my predecessor were still steaming nicely in the pot.

Had a lovely evening out for dinner. The app to order worked fine, also for your drinks. And your order was served quickly. Despite the fact that it was completely full, everything went quite smoothly. Friendly service and everything was well organised. The food itself was also delicious, everything was nice and warm.

It was full and very warm inside, last Mother's Day, there is no sunshade so the sun was full on us. The Mother's Day cocktail was finished and an alternative was offered but it was not mentioned that this had to be paid extra, a pity. Furthermore, there was a piece of plastic cling film in our daughter's avocado which was noted but nothing was done about it. The service could therefore be better and sun protection would not be an unnecessary luxury.

We had dinner with four people tonight, and it was absolutely fantastic! Respect for the staff during the Remembrance Day service. The music stopped and everyone stood up. All the guests also kept their mouths shut. We had a wonderful evening!

She still has a lot of work to do. With an open kitchen, these children have to learn not to shout so much in the kitchen and that if something is said to you, you certainly don't give your manager such a big mouth!! But Nikkie kept calmly addressing them every time. Kinders: If your manager is paying a customer, don't whine through it. Once again respect for Nikkie 🙏👍🏻

Great restaurant for a bite to eat. Lots of variety and nice staff. The only downside is the loud banging door that slams shut every time someone comes in due to the draft.

On Friday, September 8, we had a delicious meal at La Cubanita Noordwijk. It was the new assistant manager's baptism of fire. What did said well!!! The lady is spontaneous, sociable but at the same time has a good overview of her guests. She rightly ensures that no one is deprived of anything. I agreed with her that as soon as my glass was empty that it could be refilled without asking and she did that perfectly. The food was very tasty and it did not take long before the ordered dishes were served. We ENJOYED IT HUGELY. Until next time!

Food was fine considering the price. Staff friendly but a little less fooling around with each other.

We were at the table with a large group of people. So many things go wrong with ordering the food and at a certain point we say just put it on the table. Because initially we had to order food per round by telephone, but in the end it didn't work. So we had to fill in the paperwork on what we wanted to eat, but that's where a lot of things go wrong.

Very nice La Cubanita on the boulevard of Noordwijk. Unlike other restaurants in this chain, there is a lot of space between the tables. I was in Noordwijk yesterday, August 12, 2024, and I needed a corkscrew. I walked into La Cubanita and the man, I think the team leader, helped me open the bottle of wine despite the crowds. We also regularly eat here and the service is always good and friendly and the food is delicious. Thank you for the bit of humanity and helpfulness the staff showed yesterday. We will definitely visit you again soon!

From the outside it looks a bit run-down, and when we came inside it was very stuffy, but once the doors opened against each other it was fine. The tent is also in need of a good cleaning. The food was delicious and there was really nothing to complain about, and the staff was very friendly. All in all, it is a great place to have a nice meal after a day at the seaside.

Tasty tapas food, but very warm inside

Meest verschrikkelijke bediening ooit. Personeel bij binnenkomst al zeer onvriendelijk, zijn ook kattig tegen elkaar. Pas na 30 minuten de eerste ronde tapa ontvangen. Eten wordt door ‘leidinggevende’ Marco op tafel gesmeten na een misverstand. Te schandalig voor woorden. Eten uitserveren op het terras duurt lang, daardoor raakt zowel de bediening en klant in de war over de rondes. Eten ook slecht. Magnetronwerk. Daarnaast was om 18.00 ook al veel van de kaart op. Belachelijk. Wat warm moet zijn is koud. En de carpaccio ligt al zo lang dat het vastgeplakt ligt aan het bord. Dat wij geen voedselvergiftiging hebben opgelopen is een godswonder. Vuile vaat wordt niet meegenomen totdat de stapels bijna van de tafel vallen. Nooit meer La Cubanita!

We live in Leiderdorp and sometimes go to Cubanita Alphen, the atmosphere there is so nice! In Noordwijk it is still decorated in the old style, which appeals less to us, blinds diagonally in front of the window at half past seven, dirty menus, we sat in a very messy corner next to a messy table, all just not unfortunately...

No thanks. After 15 minutes at the table we were told that we had to leave the restaurant due to a lack of staff. Doesn't work at all.

We were allowed to choose a table ourselves. So we chose a table on the side. This table was not clean because people had sat there before us. Waitress comes to us: this table cannot be cleaned because I am alone. To my: well, give me a cloth and I'll do it myself, the answer was no. Because we really didn't want to sit in the middle, we were eventually allowed to occupy a table for four with just the two of us. We weren't the only customers to hear this. The table remained dirty and unused.

During my recent visit to La Cubanita in Noordwijk, I was unfortunately disappointed by the experience. The food, which should be one of the highlights, was largely lukewarm and lacked flavour. The nachos were not only burnt but also had an unpleasant odor that detracted from the dining experience. The condition of the menus was also a concern; they were so dirty I hardly wanted to touch them. This contributed to an overall impression of a lack of hygiene, which was further reinforced by the dusty and atmosphereless environment and the dirty tables. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot say that I am looking forward to a repeat visit. It's important that a restaurant not only serves good food, but also offers a clean and inviting atmosphere, and in these areas La Cubanita fell short.

Delicious food for a fair price, the desserts are also delicious

Host is not friendly at all. I didn't feel welcome. When we arrived we were waiting at the entrance, it was not busy but no one came to us and there were two employees at the bar looking at us. Because no one came and it wasn't busy, we sat somewhere. I walked to the toilet and walked past the bar, the boy behind the bar then said "can I ask something else?" The way he said this surprised me. After I indicated that I had indeed made a reservation, he said “next time, would you like to come to the bar first before just sitting anywhere?” I find this very disrespectful and not customer friendly at all. I told him that we were waiting at the entrance and no one came to us. I find it very impersonal and very disrespectful, unfortunately for me the last time I come here.

Where normally the first drink is taken, it now has to be taken directly via the app. Quite a letdown, you already have little contact with the service. Food: I had food a few times that was either not properly warm, or not as you expected based on the picture (2 onion rings instead of 5 in the picture). I also don't think people are working consistently in the kitchen. Had overcooked onion rings twice, and only once as they should be. So it was fried too long. Staff doesn't really respond to it. Had a hair in the food. This was made a bit light of, and no excuses. Atmosphere: got the feeling that it was crammed as full as possible. Not very cozy from the outside. The music was very loud, which made conversations difficult to have. Hygiene: food was a hair. Napkin dispensers were just rancid, probably not cleaned frequently. Toilets could be better, but acceptable. Friendliness: the runners were friendly, we found the host less so. It was not our idea. Conclusion: we have eaten better in the past at other La Cubanita's in the area. There are also many nice and affordable restaurants along the boulevard, we will not go back to this location.

Had a nice meal at la Cubanita. The map is not very extensive and therefore easier to overview. Dishes were varied and well prepared. The cheese balls were fried for far too long, leaving only the crispy shell. The staff is friendly but knows little about the dishes and I think that's a shame. Toilets clean and fresh, very important. Furthermore, I think it is a long, fairly dark restaurant. This made the menu difficult to read. Will I come back again? Yes I think so. Essen ziemlich lecker. Service schnell und freundlich. Unser Tisch war aber direkt beim beim Tresen und etwas schmuddelig. Aber insgesamt sehr weiterzuempfehlen.

Parkeren kan in de straat. Vriendelijk ontvangen en prima service. Voor dit geld moet je niet veel kwaliteit verwachten natuurlijk. Veel gerechten zijn gefrituurd, maar dat weet je. Aardig veel keuze in gerechten. Het restaurant was niet helemaal schoon overal, maar een een zaak aan het strand word gewoon sneller vuiler. Daar in tegen konden de spinnenrage wel gewoon weg gehaald worden natuurlijk. Wij hebben het gezellig gehad

Je kan er opzich wel even gezellig zitten als je er niet teveel van verwacht. Alleen wat is de tent smerig zeg. Aan alles zie je dat er een gebrek is aan een goede schoonmaker.

Helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Het personeel maakt je gelijk duidelijk dat je maar welkom bent tot een bepaalde tijd om ruimte te maken voor de volgende gasten. De menukaart was helemaal gescheurd en we moesten zelfs een nieuwe vragen. We kregen er een van een andere tafel en die was helaas ook kapot. Het zijn veel frituur hapjes en de rest smaakte niet vers. Zelfs gebakken aardappeltjes zijn niet gebakken maar alleen gekookt. Overal zit peterselie op (zelfs op de maïskolf). De cocktail was wel lekker. Gelukkig was het niet zo duur.

We werden niet echt vrolijk verwelkomd. De houder waar de servetten in zit was echt heel vies. Ik denk al maanden niet schoongemaakt. Hier wat van gezegd en toen vroeg de jongen of wij het konden aangeven… De bordjes en bestek waren ook vies. De bordjes werden op de tafel gesmeten en de cocktails waren eerder limonade… De bediening was niet vriendelijk en lopen er omdat het moet. Geen gezellige sfeer en de deur werd steeds keihard dicht gesmeten naast ons. Voor ons geen La Cubanita Noordwijk meer.

This is a tapas-as-dinner restaurant. As a vegetarian, I'm always a bit of a tapas skeptic. The problem is of course always a limited selection, and if you go with a group the non-vegetarians will eat some of the vegetarian tapas leaving you hungry after an expensive meal. This time I came with only vegetarians, and we checked the menu online beforehand. It seemed fine! We were surprised to learn that it was an "all you can eat" restaurant. We decided to try it anyway, which was a mistake. Let me be clear. There is no such thing as a good "all you can eat" restaurant. The model is fundamentally flawed. Either you pay way too much (because the restaurant has to account for people who eat twice as much as normal and take twice as long as normal to do it), or you eat way too much, or both. Is La Cubanita a good version of an "all you can eat" restaurant? Maybe? If you like those, then I guess that you can try it. The food was not bad. The service was fine. But why would you bother when there are so many other places to eat?
