Today we had made a reservation for a pleasant dinner with 6 people. Because we have a small puppy who absolutely cannot stay home alone yet, we had brought him along (in a bag/quietly with us). Unfortunately, we were immediately denied entry at the door because, according to policy, dogs are not allowed. Although I naturally understand the general house rules of a restaurant, we found it very disappointing that there was absolutely no flexibility to accommodate us. The place was still practically empty at that moment. Precisely because it involved a quiet puppy and a large table of 6 people (easily generating around €300 in turnover), we had hoped for a bit of humanity and an exception for this specific situation. Ultimately, we went to eat somewhere else where we were indeed welcomed hospitably with our pup. A missed opportunity for La Cubanita Weert; unfortunately, we will not be returning here.

We had made a reservation for 7:00 PM. Upon arrival (even though we arrived a little early), we were immediately escorted to our table. The concept was clearly explained, and our first drinks order was taken right away. After that, we could easily order via the QR code. Within 15 minutes, the first dishes were already on the table. My tip: choose your next round of dishes while you are eating and place a new order immediately as soon as the first appetizers are served. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The music is at a comfortable volume, and everything is neat and clean. All in all, we had a wonderful evening, and we will definitely be back here again.

Upon arrival, we were greeted politely and shown to our table. That was a good start. Unfortunately, things went wrong several times after that. We were served dishes we hadn't ordered. Because they would otherwise have been thrown away, we just ate them, but of course, this is not how it should be. Clearly, something went wrong in the kitchen/service here. The menu has been updated since April 1st. Personally, we preferred the previous menu. The new menu appealed to us less. The service was otherwise okay, but not attentive enough. We had to ask several times for empty glasses, bottles, and plates to be cleared. As a result, the table remained unnecessarily cluttered. It also turned out that the bill listed one Weizer beer that we didn't have; the staff indicated that they were no longer chilled?! Upon leaving, no goodbye was said. We had to say "see you later" ourselves. That doesn't come across as hospitable and is a missed opportunity.

The food was delicious! Tasty flavors and good quality. Only the steak was slightly overcooked, but otherwise no complaints about the food. A minor downside is that the dishes sit for a very long time while the new round is already coming. We also had to wait quite a while for the dishes, which caused a bit of stress because we didn't arrive until 8:00 PM. So we ordered a lot in quick succession. We'll be back for Christmas 😊

We went here for the first time last night after searching for La Cubamita in Helmond after its sudden permanent closure. We were pleasantly surprised. All in all, it's a good restaurant. Excellent!

Nice restaurant, but early in the evening you have to wait a very long time for your food. By the end of the evening, many dishes were no longer available, and desserts were even more scarce. You're told to place your last order at 9:45 PM, and after 10:00 PM, it's over and you get nothing. Management, management... you can tell they're either short-staffed or have too many tables. BTW, cocktails are more ice than liquor (their profit model).

Such a large restaurant, but no room for two adults and three small children, on a weekday at 6:30 pm, with hardly any people inside. The kitchen wouldn't have been able to handle that... That's a real miss as a restaurant. It's a shame, we would have loved to come and eat, but that's quickly over after such a first impression.

Great place. But several dishes were served cold. The waiter dropped my drinks three times. Plates were rarely collected. I asked for the bill several times and ended up going to the bar myself.

However, I ran into a tricky problem: we were there with our 8-month-old baby, who had completely leaked urine. The attendant directed us to the public restrooms. I explained that this wasn't an option because there were no changing facilities or toilet seats there. Unfortunately, they didn't grant us an exception. I even offered to pay for the diaper change, but that proved impossible. She had to "draw the line somewhere." I find it ridiculous that this line is drawn at an 8-month-old baby! As a result, we had to continue searching for a suitable place with a crying, leaking baby. I understand the rules, but I hope that in the future, more leniency or an alternative solution can be offered for such exceptional situations.

Beautiful, modern restaurant. High ceilings and a lovely decor. The food was good quality and the portions were generous. Highly recommended if you love tapas.

The atmosphere was terrible, the only downside was the long wait. They said 10 minutes, but it was actually 15 to 20 minutes. Not everything was at the right temperature, and we ended up getting sick. So, personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

There was clearly a staff shortage. The waitress was friendly, but the minor issues really detracted from the overall experience. The restrooms could use some attention; I was shocked. The trash cans were overflowing, and the floor was incredibly dirty and dusty. They could make this a great restaurant, but it's such a shame.

I recently dined here with friends. The hostess was polite and politely asked if we wanted something to drink. Initially, it was brought quickly, but after the first round, it took increasingly longer for the rest to arrive. Portions were small, and the food itself was poor quality. The manager (?) was a young man with a bun and goatee who came across as unfriendly and disinterested. We ended up leaving the restaurant early after receiving yet another dirty look. No one listened to us, and when we asked where our food from 25 minutes earlier was, we were told we were behaving badly. A very unpleasant atmosphere, made worse by poor service and subpar food.

As the evening progresses, the dishes become more sloppy... like the smash burger, which had all the sauce on the outside of the bun... For us, it was an experiment to eat here, but it was our last time.

Gisteravond na lange tijd weer eens gaan eten bij Cubanita. In het verleden zijn we haar vaker gaan eten en toen hadden we geen op- of aanmerkingen. Dus ook deze keer hadden we zin om te genieten van het eten en de sfeer. Helaas gingen we deze keer alle acht met een ontevreden gevoel naar huis. We weten dat het concept bij La Cubanita is dat je nooit allemaal tegelijk de gerechtjes krijgt. Daar hou je rekening mee. Maar wat ons heel erg tegen viel was hoe de bediening hun werk deed. Men keek ons nauwelijks aan wanneer men de gerechtjes bracht, het was onverstaanbaar wat men zei en het werd ongeïnteresseerd op tafel gezet. Wij waren met 8 personen waarbij we met twee QR-codes werkten. Je mag dan verwachten dat we de gerechtjes per QR-code aangeboden kreeg. Helaas was dat niet het geval en moesten we zelf uitzoeken welk gerecht voor welke tafel was wat soms erg moeilijk was omdat het onverstaanbaar wat voor gerechten het waren. Daarnaast werd het porselein niet regelmatig opgehaald waarbij het een zooitje werd. Wij snappen dat het druk kan zijn maar je zorgt er wel voor dat de tafels netjes blijven. Helaas zijn wij tot de conclusie gekomen dat we hier niet gaan eten. We hopen dat de leiding hier wat mee doet en het personeel nieuwe, duidelijke maar vooral klantvriendelijke instructies gaat geven.

It was truly unpleasant. This was our first visit to this restaurant. Next time something like this happens, I'll ask if we can get a table far away from these people (who don't consider other guests).

Went there Saturday night and it was actually quite disappointing...most restaurants ban cell phones, and here you have to order everything via your phone every time. The food wasn't great, and the tables were barely cleared... In other words, they won't be seeing me again; there are much better tapas restaurants without cell phones. But hey, big chains eat, right?

Most dishes were delicious. As the evening progressed and it got busier, ingredients were forgotten (no guacamole on the nachos and no coffee in the affogato). The staff was friendly. Hygiene was poor (the floor was very dirty, crumbs on the table from previous guests, and the menu, napkin holder, and salt and pepper shakers were too greasy to touch).

I've been to several La Cubanitas, but this one takes the cake. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, the dishes are served quickly, empty plates are cleared quickly, and the service is impeccable. All in all, a fantastic experience.

The food was initially very tasty and served very quickly. At one point, we didn't receive the items we'd ordered (two rounds ago). We'd pointed this out several times, but nothing was done about it. We have eaten at Ka Cupanita a few times and the food is always good, but for example, with the nachos, one person had it with peppers and sauce and the next person only had sauce. If it's finished, they simply do it without it or sometimes order something else, which is a shame.

Ben hier laatst met vrienden naartoe geweest uit eten. De gastvrouw was netjes en vroeg vriendelijk of we iets te drinken wilde. In het begin werd het snel gebracht maar na de eerste ronde duurde het alsmaar langer voordat de rest kwam. Het eten werd echter heel traag gebracht en het duurde telkens meer als een kwatier voordat een klein deel van de bestelde gerechten op tafel kwam waardoor je uiteindelijk met honger naar huis ging. Porties waren klein en het eten zelf slechte kwaliteit. De leidinggevende (?) was een jonge man met een knot en sik die onvriendelijk en ongeïnteresseerd overkwam. We zijn uiteindelijk vroegtijdig het restaurant verlaten nadat de zoveelste vieze blik werd geworpen. Er werd niet naar ons geluisterd en toen wij vroegen waar ons eten van 25 minuten geleden was kregen we een opmerking dat we ons slecht gedroegen. Een zeer ongezellige sfeer die erger wordt gemaakt door slechte bediening en kwalitatief gebrekkig eten.

It is extra unfortunate, because the concept is nice, the atmosphere is great and the location is attractive. However, all this was overshadowed by the quality of the food and the attitude of some of the staff. Some of the service came across as very grumpy, which did not improve the experience. For a price of 30 euros per person you can at least expect the food to be warm and that you are taken seriously as a guest. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. A real waste of money.

Yesterday I ate at La Cubanita for the first time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy. The bartender with the bun and our host did their job very well which made the atmosphere even better. The food came quickly and was tasty and looked well cared for. Where you could park was a bit unclear to me, but that could also be because I am not from the area.

Not to be repeated. Long wait for dishes. Sometimes they just don't come. Not even after repeated requests. Service a bit clumsy. (not everyone but still) Dirty dishes are not collected resulting in a large pile on the table. The food itself was meh. Desserts were tasty though.

You ordered, but you don't get anything. After half an hour someone comes by and you tell them and then 'let's take a look in the kitchen'. Second round, but immediately order. Same old story..... There's some lout walking around who doesn't know what he's doing, and often 'delivers' incorrectly and 'oh sorry' and is put on the next table. Too bad. Wrong concept. Or it doesn't work here. Had dinner at La Cubanita on Saturday evening. After that I became very ill. The next day I called. I got a boy on the phone who didn't know what to do with it. He advised to email and then it would reach the manager. Two days later: no response. As a manager, I would like to know what a guest had eaten. This is ridiculous and shows disinterest. I wonder if I will ever receive an email or call back. We won't be there anymore.
