La Hermana in Wijk 16 Havenkwartier

A big thank you to the gentlemen from the Dik voor Mekaar podcast: the tip for Hermano turned out to be an absolute scouting gem. The lineup included a friendly gentleman as coach and four blonde ladies with golden locks. Another perfectly matched team was ready on the kitchen bench. I had a delicious meal, some excellent wines flowed, and during the penalty shootout there was even room for an Irish coffee—with deliciously weak cream. What Feyenoord can't seem to achieve in Europe, they do: Champions League-level dining. And the price? Excellent too, so a return match is sure to follow. Martijn and Michel, stop talking about Feyenoord... what's the next tip?

Very atmospheric restaurant with delicious food! In a nice location with a lovely terrace to start with a delicious drink. Then a place inside and a delicious meal! We were surprised by the chef and that was great! Beautiful matching wines with which you get a complete experience.

Very disappointing experience. I was initially seated at a table without any problem, ready to order something. But when I wanted to order, I was suddenly addressed that I was not allowed to sit at the table because I was wearing a cap. No prior notice, no sign. "This way we can see your face better is not a reason." If there is a house rule about wearing a cap, communicate that clearly before you let someone sit. In any case, I will not come back here, and I would not recommend it to anyone until this attitude changes.

Spanish tapas but "cheeseed". The high chairs were not very comfortable if you are not very tall. Too bad they don't serve good cava. And it was very noisy and it was difficult to hear each other

Top business, top service and delicious food

We went there on a Sunday afternoon as an alternative to a late lunch. We got well prepared and really generous portions. It was all very tasteful. We ate crispy fried slices of aubergine with honey, fresh mussels in tomato sauce with chorizo ​​served with some baguette, very tasty oyster mushroom croquettes, the Bravas fries which were very nice and crispy with a delicious sauce on top and finally Octopus with pepper strips. The tentacle was deliciously prepared but unfortunately not that much. Then I had a nice Irish coffee and my partner a nice cappuccino. Something can still be done about the atmosphere. We got there at about 3:00 PM. There were already people sitting there. It was chilly inside and the music didn't come on until halfway through our meal. The food was really great and we will definitely eat out there again.

Great place, although I think the price-quality ratio may be slightly out of balance. The taste of the dishes is often a bit too bland and the portions could be a bit larger in my opinion. Staff is good and friendly.

Had my birthday dinner here and was greatly pleased. Every single dish we ordered tasted very fresh, layered in flavour and creative as well, all while beautifully presented. Really impressed by the variety of dishes and flavours. They have a great selection of beers, wines and spirits as well. Will definitely come back here!

We come here often, last time there was one at our table rude waitress who immediately put a dampener on us so we didn't feel like coming here again for a while. This time it went better although not very involved (it radiates routine). By the time we were about to leave, a new shift of staff arrived who was clearly much friendlier and more pleasant. It's a shame that it happens this way because otherwise it is always relaxed and the food is very tasty.

I had already heard a lot about La Hermana, but it still exceeded my expectations. Delicious food, served nicely spread out so that not everything was cold as soon as you started it. As soon as the glass was empty, it was poured from the bottle already ordered. If I had to come up with one point of interest (and that takes some effort): we were in the conservatory and the acoustics there were not good. I got used to it, but in the beginning there were some problems understanding each other with 3 ladies. We were actually very pleased with the bill. 2 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of water. 3 rounds of perfect food and a round of desserts. €66 is very nice!

Helaas viel het tegen voor ons, we hadden een tafel gereserveerd telefonisch. Telefonisch werd gezegd een hoge tafel wij dachten prima, maar uiteindelijk werden we aan een tafel gezet met het uitzicht tot een paal en de menukaarten werden ook op onze tafel gelegd. Geen leuke tafel dus! De aftrap was: de zalm tataki, deze was fantastisch en heerlijk echt het neusje van de zalm. Helaas werd het daarna wat minder, de gambas waren niet lekker en proefte alsof ze bedorven waren, de calamares waren smaakloos en was niet veel aan. De overige gerechten waren goed van smaak en prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ook goed. Vervolgens wouden wij afrekenen en vroeg een bediende of alles naar wens was. Vervolgens wij het uitgelegd over de gambas en die heeft ze van de rekening gehaald. Dat is erg netjes en professioneel. Qua service niks op aan te merken verder. Voor ons geen tweede keer, maar het kan natuurlijk ook zijn dat wij pech hadden.

Tappas achtig maar met grote porties, de Pulpa is een aanrader klaar gemaakt in een speciale steenkool oventje

Het is een erg zakelijke sfeer zonder glimlach. Men vraagt om een review en wanneer deze haar niet bevalt, krijg je een boze brief terug ? Nog nooit meegemaakt. Het is normaal tapas eten. Niet slecht, maar ook niet het neusje van de zalm. Een glas wijn is heel karig ingeschonken. De tijd tussen gerechtjes door is niet constant, waardoor je soms niets hebt en dan alles in een. Gezien bovenstaande is het te duur.

Toevallig voorbij gekomen. Onverwacht goed! Alles was op smaak, goede service. Aanrader!

Het beste tapas restaurant waar ik tot nu toe ben geweest. Hij is ook iets duurder, Maar wat is het eten goed! (Zie ook de foto). Wij gaan zeker nog een keee terug om andere gerechten van de kaart te proeven!

Heerlijk eten, ontspannen sfeer

Voor de eerste keer gegeten bij La Hermana. We waren met een groep van zeven volwassenen en er werd heel keurig en fijn rekening gehouden met onze dieetwensen. Het 5 gangen diner is heel erg aan te raden! Diverse tapas gerechten worden geserveerd (warm en koud) om met elkaar te delen. Lekkere smaken, mooie gerechten en goede porties. De drankkaart is ook uitgebreid, dus voor ieder wat wils. Het personeel was tenslotte zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!
