Long wait times even though there are five or six of them working. The price-quality ratio is poor. A hefty €7.50 for fries and two snacks. I'd expect a decent portion of fries... unfortunately... The tables are filthy and aren't cleared by staff, even though they often walk past. There doesn't seem to be a manager present. This place is no longer relevant to me. The rating has been lowered from one star after a terrible response. What a self-reflection. Ugh.

bad atmosphere and quality of fries is bad.

We just picked up fries and had to wait 20 minutes before we could even order. After ordering, they arrived very quickly. It was very busy, so it was understandable from that perspective. But when we asked if we could order, and we were told we'd already been waiting 15 minutes, we were snapped at by the waiter, saying it was very busy. The food was very good, though.

Great food and cheap too, I have never had frikandel xxl anywhere else.

Remains one of my favorite snack bars, even though I have been away from Veenendaal for years. Good fries and snacks, quick service and excellent seats. In recent years they have renovated the interior considerably, but the feeling remains just as good.

Snack bar in the center. Busy when we were there. Lots of staff present who are really busy helping everyone quickly. We had already made a choice and you can easily choose there too. Taste was good, Plenty of fries in the family items, Not everything was completely warm anymore, but that was also possible since we still had to go back a bit after the houses. The night before last, I bought two Kwekkeboom croquettes and medium size fries as a surprise before visiting my mother. Half an hour before closing time, five young people ('staff') and the owner were busying themselves (with what?) behind the counter, in an otherwise deserted shop. When I received the order in a paper bag, I first thought 'is this my order...?' The whole thing was about the weight of just a small regular portion of fries. I looked in the bag, felt the two croquettes on top and saw the other bag underneath, which must have been the fries. When I arrived at my mother's house, I opened the bag with the fries and couldn't believe my eyes: nothing more than a small handful of fries, such a small amount that it did not rise above the edges of the low black plastic container. . My mother looked at me completely bewildered when she heard what I had paid. The frying oil was also clearly past its use-by date. The two Kwekkeboom croquettes, €2.45 ​​each!, were also fried dark brown. I have never seen a Kwekkeboom croquette like this before. Everything had a nasty, dirty, greasy taste. Price of just the handful of fries without: € 2.50! The whole thing was handed over to me by a grumpy child who was too lazy to say 'please' and didn't even respond to my 'have a nice evening!'. I've honestly never felt so cheated in a snack bar. Never again to La Promenade.

Have food delivered to Landal Amerongse Berg because this was recommended in the brochure. It was very busy and because of this we couldn't get through at first. Afterwards, when ordering, it was immediately stated that delivery could take a while, which is completely fine if this is stated immediately and also understandable. No problem! The food arrived exactly at the agreed time. Delivered by a friendly lady. The fries and frikandels tasted great. In short: highly recommended if you fancy a tasty snack.

On Wednesday March 16, 22' I had a delicious lunch here. Lots of choice and beautifully presented plates. The seats themselves are also very sleek and look well cared for. Staff is very nice. Very satisfied!

Just ate a burger 🍔 menu during my lunch break. A very well filled burger, a good piece of beef on top and a tasty bun. Exactly as it should be.✅ Well served on a nice robust board, with the fries in a miniature fries basket (very nicely done).✅ I had a nice and quiet seat inside, the service was great. Everything was delivered neatly, and I was even brought a glass for the drink. I didn't use this in the end. But for a Snack Bar this is top service. ✅ When I'm in Veenendaal again I will definitely get a burger again.

Nice newly renovated snack bar, super clean even though they are still working. Cleaning is done with a TCE steam vacuum cleaner.

The tastiest fries we have eaten in a long time. Very crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. tasty potatoes used. The family bag for 3 people was on the spacious side for the five of us. The bacon burger is also recommended. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, there was no mustard with the croquette the second time.

The food here is delicious. The fries are gluten-free and there are also gluten-free snacks. We recommend the gluten-free vegetable croquette, it is so tasty! 🤗🤤 Even tastier than the regular gluten-free croquette. Unfortunately, they didn't have the gluten-free vegetable croquette last time, but when it's back I'll only order 6 of those croquettes and nothing else. Furthermore, you can sit there comfortably, there is plenty of space and the people are friendly.

Definitely not worth repeating! Ordered by telephone and arrived before the agreed time, but the order was already ready. When we get home (7 minutes by car), the fries appear to have already cooled down considerably, so they were probably ready for a while. Schnitzel with fries was a shame. So few fries, clearly no portion, about twenty fries :'( The taste of the schnitzel, bami, nasi slices and frikandellen was very good, but unfortunately does not make up for the lack of fries and especially the low temperature of everything...
