I picked up a pizza tartufo and lasagna. I've never had such a bad, disgusting pizza in my life. Even the shape of the pizza was laughable. The lasagna was all tomato sauce, without even a decent layer of gratinated cheese. This restaurant absolutely cannot call itself an Italian restaurant. Yuck, yuck.

Unbelievably amazing food!!!! Pizza places need to take a look at this kitchen and learn from La Vespa Bussum how to make pizza! We took the Margherita because thats my ultimate test to taste the sauce, pizza base and cheese, and absolutely every ingredient balanced perfectly well with eachother. This is the first meal I have had in ages where I feel like every detail was perfect. Well done chefs! When we arrived they didnt have space originally and we didnt reserve, but they made space for us last minute. They were so loving and so caring and even though they were very busy they made everyone feel like they spent time on them and never made us feel rushed. Well done to service you guys are unreal. We will definitely be back!

Bah completely burnt pizza to go bought at La Vespa Bussum. So annoying, you come home, open box, first bite, burnt pizza for E15.50 this is so bad😩no food for me tonight. Pizza is so thin, if you try to scrape off the black because you are hungry you only have filling left. You can better make supermarket pizza! Also saves a lot of money😳

Just a short walk from the Naarden-Bussum train station, this cozy Italian spot is lively, with a warm, bustling atmosphere that instantly makes you feel welcome. Despite being busy, the service remained friendly and attentive. We ordered their wood-fired pizza again, and it was just as divine as the first time—perfectly crisp crust, rich tomato sauce, and quality ingredients that speak for themselves. It's clear this place values consistency as much as flavor. Affordable prices, great ambiance, and delicious food make La Vespa a true local gem. If you’re in Bussum and craving a proper Italian pizza, this is the place to go—highly recommended.

Pizza dough is not what it used to be. Not completely cooked and not much bite. Small tip: in warm weather perhaps place some parasols outside. Service was very nice.

First time eating here, but I'd rather not again. Ordered vegan pizza vegetariana, the version on the menu is vegetarian with mozzarella and goat cheese. They left that out, but then it was replaced with nothing. When I got the pizza, the number of vegetables on my pizza could be counted on one hand. I don't understand why I should be charged the same as someone who orders the vegetarian version. The espresso didn't taste good, because the machine needs to be cleaned more often. Sat outside with a view of garbage cans, the railway and cars constantly passing by. Otherwise satisfied with the service, the bruschetta, focaccia and olives as a starter.

Good place for a quick meal. Chilled drinks, order served quite quickly, despite the high afternoon traffic. We ordered pizza and lasagna (lasagna could be more seasoned), pizzas were good. Quite loud. I recommend the place.

Fun staff and they will take care of you! Their pizzas are also tasty. For smaller groups, there’s usually a spot available without reservation on weekends.

I worked in the hospitality industry for 14 years and I know how annoying it is when guests arrive 5 minutes before the kitchen closes. We had called VTV and were still able to come as long as we were there no later than 22:10. We were on time, but 5 minutes before closing time. All praise to the service and the chefs. Very friendly, no exaggerated words or showing irritation. The food was really super good and fresh, the service was super friendly, they also spoke fluent English, by the way, as we had 2 foreign guests with us. They also had a great experience right away. Compliments again, this is what hospitality means! Keep it up!!

Super tasty pizzas, in my opinion the best in this area. It is often busy but always a pleasant atmosphere. This is the place for a quick bite.

The food was really good! The pizza was not the best I've ever had, but it was quite nice. For dessert we ordered the lava cake, but it was a bit overdone so there was not a lot of lava. But must say, the highlight of the place was the service 😍 Paulina was our waitress and I had never meet such a friendly, caring everything you can think of waitress! I wanna go back just for the service! Really really the highlight of the night! I like it so much that I even asked for Paulina s name just so I could mention here how awesome she was! Will definitely go there's again ☺️

Delicious food. Super good service, we regularly check whether everything is to your satisfaction. On a busy Saturday evening we were able to accommodate 4 people, at a high table slightly towards the back of the restaurant, but this was clearly indicated when booking.

You can't pay separately, and there's no quiet corner.

Ate here tonight, small table for the five of us, pizzas wet and thin from too much sauce, no one to ask if we liked it and if we wanted something to drink, when we took it out we indicated that the food was not entirely to our liking, the only thing I got was ooh okay, boy took the plates, no question whether we wanted dessert or coffee, just nothing, staff really too bad for words just like the food, The last time for us.

How many people can we cram into a restaurant? The result is that we are almost sitting on Lodewijk and his hockey friend's lap, forced to listen to which lease car he should take from the car fleet. So quite annoying. Tables are far too close together. While this was one of my favorite pizzerias quite a few years ago, it now feels like assembly line work. The pizzas were okay, but less than before. Pizza base tastes very salty. The service was downright shocking. Unfortunately the last time was La Vespa.

I was served very nice by a girl with a nose ring. She was very nice and gave me a very sweet compliment about my glasses. She came to check on us often and was very nice. There was also another girl with black glasses who was very sweet and very nice and she brought the drinks. Very nice place and would love to come back again

His professionalism not only ensured that the evening ran smoothly, but also made us feel like we were in good hands - something that is not always self-evident at group dinners. As for the food, the dishes were completely in line with our high expectations. The flavor combinations were surprising and perfectly balanced, with a presentation that reflected the care and dedication of the kitchen team. Each dish was a little work of art, and you could really tell that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The organization was also excellent. The staff managed the logistics of our large table flawlessly, ensuring that all orders were served on time and perfectly. The timing was ideal, allowing us to fully enjoy the evening without any interruptions. In short, La Vespa offered not only a delicious meal, but also a complete experience thanks to the service that lifted our evening to an unforgettable level. If you are looking for a place for a celebration or a special dinner, this restaurant is definitely recommended. We will definitely come back!

Last night I had dinner at La Vespa and the experience was wonderful, thanks in part to Xavier, our waiter. Not only did he serve us with a smile, but his knowledge of Italian wines was impressive. He recommended the perfect wine to drink with our pizza, and honestly it couldn't have been better! The food was delicious, but the extra touch was his excellent service and recommendations. A big 10 for La Vespa and of course for Xavier. Thank you for making our evening so special!

Delicious pizza and Foccacia. A group of 9 people, including children, everyone left full and happy. Fingers lickin' good. This was an opinion from a year ago. Up date 8/01/2025 Unfortunately, the restaurant's food and service have deteriorated. The pizza, which was delicious, now softens quickly and the ingredients are of much lower quality. It's a pity that the pizzeria that we and a large group of friends loved has become so commercialized and the quantity is not good. We are waiting for improvement!!!

We ordered pizzas "Salciccia Fresca e Funghi Porcini" and "Tartufo". Staff informed us about the ingredients and the size of the pizzas. Stone oven pizzas were delicious. We loved the atmosphere and taste of our choices.

Food was okay, waitress was rude and did not pay attention to our table or her surroundings - we had to wait 45 minutes for our food, while everyone around us was being served. Place looks nice, but waitress needs more training and needs to learn how to handle people.

High school students tell you that you have to wait 10 minutes because they don't know if you can get a seat in an empty restaurant. Later a fake Italian comes to tell you that it is completely full, we went 2 doors further to Grand Selene, the service was friendly. La Vespa still empty.

La Vespa bakes the best pizzas of the Netherlands and still in a wooden oven. The service used to be annoyingly slow but they fixed that fortunately. I recommend everyone living in Bussum or visiting Bussum to eat at La Vespa and try the pizza

The best Italian in the area without a doubt, good menu, good service, attentive. All right.

We also had dinner there a few years ago, but now we were in the area again and so we ate there again. It is still a great Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and not too expensive. Personally, I miss a more extensive desert, especially an ice cream menu.

Great pizza with really good pizza base and very friendly staff. You can go there for a quick bite because your pizza will be on the table quickly, but you should also go out for an extensive meal and have something tasty beforehand and of course something afterwards because the desserts are all delicious too.

Delicious pizzas. Been there 3 times. Last time was on Valentine's Day. Then the shift made it a little less pleasant and very busy.

We had not been to La Vespa for a while, but this year things have deteriorated enormously. The service was bad. 2 ladies in a bad mood, 1 of whom only spoke English. Table was already Emptyed while my wife was still eating. And we had to ask twice to get our ordered dessert on the table. Food was also fine.

Somehow I regret that my review was removed by la vespa, even though I really had a bad experience here. It's a matter of taste, but I prefer it when a pizza is served with cheese. Ordered pizza here twice and both times I got more of a pizza with tomato sauce. Tomato sauce has a good taste, but unfortunately the dough is very disappointing. I don't really like a thick bottom, but here you literally get 1 mm of thin bottom. Even if you call for a slightly thicker bottom, you will get a thin bottom. Can you tell that the chefs are not that flexible?

came here with my mother in law and hubby for dinner. waiter was very abrupt and not so friendly. waited quite a long time for our food—about an hour or so—and when it came, my mother in law got the wrong pizza, and my husband’s carpaccio was icy cold. wouldn’t be coming back here anytime soon.

Everything was perfect, the food delicious (finally real italian pizza), amazing wine, and very importantly, quick and hard working service workers. I finally found my pizza place ! Will return soon!

Overheerlijke pizza’s voor een eerlijke prijs! Zelf had ik de pizza Diavola die uit een heerlijke steenoven kwam. Een perfecte bodem en heerlijke topping. De drankjes zijn hier zeker niet duur. Voor een Italiaans biertje betaal je minder dan 4,-. De cheesecake is de 8,- ook dubbel en dwars waard.

Unglaublich lecker, habe absolut nichts auszusetzen. Gehört zu den besten Pizzen, die ich je gegessen habe. Das Personal war auch total nett, konnte gut Englisch und hat einem geholfen, wenn man was aus der Karte nicht verstanden hat.

Sommige dingen duurde een beetje lang zoals het drinken, maar het was ook wel redelijk druk. Het personeel was verder vriendelijk, het eten was goed en de sfeer was ook aardig.

Op een woensdagavond wezen eten. Het was stervensdruk. Service heel vriendelijk, maar een uur wachten op je eten is echt te lang. Het eten was wel erg lekker!

Heerlijke pizza en snel geserveerd.

Heel lekker en authentieke steenoven pizza's. Toen wij kwamen was het er wel zeer druk maar al bij al waren we toch snel verder geholpen. De prijzen zijn zeker goed voor de prijs kwaliteit die je in de plaats krijgt. We zouden het zeker aanbevelen en terug gaan volgende keer dat we in de buurt zijn. Ook binnen mooi en gezellig aangekleed.
