I recently ordered a birthday cake for my family and it really exceeded my expectations! 🥹🎂 The cake was super good and neatly packed in a spacious box, so it didn't sit against the box or stick to it. Really well and efficiently done! 👌🏼 For the birthday girl, we chose a Kinder Bueno filling and it really finished off the cake perfectly! 😋🤎 The filling was delicious and the communication during the selection process was also super good and clear. All in all, highly recommended! Especially for a birthday or special occasion. 💕🎂✨

Had a delicious iced latte! A medium iced latte with caramel syrup cost €6, though there wasn't much coffee. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly.

I love this patisserie! The cheesecakes and cookies are truly delicious!!! There are also regularly fun and surprising new items. The only downside, in my opinion, is the price of €7.95 for a warm cookie. I find that a bit on the high side, considering I ate the exact same cookie in a cozy café *with* a toilet for €5.95 per portion.

I ordered a red velvet cake for a birthday and it was really delicious! Wonderful frosting and the cake tasted good. Good value for money. Beautifully decorated! Contacting them via WhatsApp to order the cake was easy. I was even able to personalize the cake however I wanted. In short, I definitely recommend ordering a cake here!

The matcha is made so disgustingly by such a plump Surinamese woman, never buy anything from her; there is moldy milk with matcha pieces in it, fire her, she hates her job.

The red velvet cake is flavorful and not dry. Let it sit for a bit to thaw, and then it is deliciously moist. Definitely recommended. They are also open late and sell delicious ice cream. Great if you have to wait for the train, for example, and fancy a tasty treat!

I am always willing to pay (extra) for quality, but when the value for money is highly questionable, I feel compelled to speak up. And I am doing so now. 20 euros for 2 very basic cheesecake slices and cupcakes (in terms of texture, taste, etc.) is really quite sad. A shame.

I stopped by the location in Almere on Friday, June 26, 2026, to pick up a few dotcakes (seen on TikTok, of course) and they were sooo delicious. I even kept them in the fridge for 2 days and they were still nicer afterwards, not dry, and very flavorful. About 2 months ago I also tasted a few cupcakes and they were just as delicious. You can really taste the quality! Super satisfied!

For months now, this has been the go-to place where my daughter and I get treats for the evening every Friday. As a cheesecake fanatic, I’ve tasted every flavor by now, the delicious truffles, and the jars when they’re available. My daughter loves the NY cookies; she always gets red velvet. The service is always great, and the girls do their best to answer all my questions. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I haven't found anything cheaper or tastier in Almere or the surrounding area yet.

The box alone makes you happy. The lady cookies and the matcha are favorites here. Friendly ladies behind the counter in Giethoorn.

I've been to Almere a few times already and it's super delicious every time. I'm especially a fan of the cookie bars (which were there a while ago) and cheesecakes. Particularly the cookie dough cheesecake that I had last week on the recommendation of the staff. Really super tasty.

Lady Cakery is highly recommended, no joke. All those other bad comments are just ridiculous. The staff are really super nice and everything tastes sooooo good. I am a regular customer and think the quality is top-notch, and I am certainly not the only one who thinks so!

I discovered Lady Cakery via Instagram, and my very first order was for my wedding (two years ago). I still remember how incredibly delicious everyone thought the cupcakes and cake were – it was a real success! Since then, I have become a regular customer at Lady Cakery and continue to enjoy her delicious pastries and ice creams. Especially in the summer, I always look forward to getting my favorite ice cream flavors again 😋 I am genuinely proud of the owner: of how hard she works, how much passion she puts into her business, and how strong-willed she is. Amazing! I’ve been getting all my cakes from Lady Cakery for over a year now because it’s so addictive. The carrot cake and the Rafaello cake are really top-notch! I also had a whole cake made by them once and it was exactly as I had asked. Definitely recommended!

Top matcha, top red velvet cake, top red velvet cupcake, pistachio is tasty too! Nice, open until 9 pm, I find 8 pm too early but 9 pm is great. It would also be nice if they opened earlier with mini breakfasts that come with a mini cupcake and then their delicious coffee and homemade croissants buuuut the selection is already top-notch. That buttercream finishes everything off!❤️❤️❤️💯💯

Upon entering, I politely asked if the ice cream scoops could be washed instead of a child with a nut allergy. The employee did so, and afterwards I asked if she could please place the ‘clean’ scoop in a spot that hadn't been ‘touched’ yet. The employee indicated that this was not possible because the boss wouldn't allow it, as it would ruin the view on the counter. These were the employee's exact words. I pointed out that the view is therefore more important than a potential allergic reaction, and the answer was, unfortunately, it is not possible. Unfortunately, this is not taken into proper consideration.

This is the second time we have been here. The first time was for the opening. It was incredibly busy then, and we ordered the mango cakes amidst the opening chaos. This time, I got 4 cupcakes and 6 cheesecakes for 51 euros. The cheesecakes were good but on the pricey side. 15 euros for 4 cupcakes. The cupcakes were dry. The frosting on the cupcakes tasted somewhat like an essence with a lingering aftertaste had been used. I would absolutely not recommend these. The service was friendly, and the flavors were explained to us well. The place was clean and was being cleaned by the owner at that moment. The box it was given out in was nice, but oversized. Fortunately, I have a spacious fridge, but I can imagine this box being thrown away immediately. A more compact box for the quantity purchased would be slightly better and also result in less waste. The concept is good, but it definitely needs attention for improvement. I hope the owner takes this up, otherwise she will lose customers.

For ice cream this isnt the right place. Very poor quality the fruit ice cream my daughter got tasted nothing like fruit. Muffins are small and you pay 4.50 for it bery overpriced.

Having tried out many cake shops and bakeries in Almere, I can safely say that this is by far the best in Almere. My favorites are the Bruce cake and the red velvet.

The cupcakes are extremely dry; I honestly wonder how many days they have been sitting on the counter. The cake was very dry, and my guests mentioned this as well. I had several batches for a baby shower, but you can taste that the cupcakes aren't fresh, and that is just a real shame! Next time, I would prefer to buy only and ask when the cupcakes are delivered, regarding freshness and to avoid dry cupcakes. Otherwise, the service is very nice, the girls behind the counter are very sweet, and the cupcakes look very nice aesthetically, but they are very dry and don't taste fresh, but rather old—the cake part—and that is a pity.

Yesterday, I made a long detour and waited for them to open to try out this place, which looked really nice to me on Instagram. But unfortunately, it wasn't entirely worth it. While the owner displays so much enthusiasm on Instagram, the staff in the shop have very little of it. There was also a lot of brown sticky stuff on the floor near the ice cream corner; they had plenty of time to clean it up given how busy they were. I ordered 5 NY cookies, 1 lady cookie, a slice of Oreo cheesecake, and a kids' ice cream with one scoop. We took the cookies home, and ate the cheesecake and the ice cream on the terrace. The cheesecake was very tasty, so that certainly boosts the number of stars I'm giving. My daughter's ice cream broke, causing the scoop to fall onto the floor via our clothes. Staff looked at it but did nothing, or perhaps didn't register it? Again, they weren't busy... too bad. The lady cookie, Kinder flavor, was very tasty! I would recommend this one. Unfortunately, we really didn't like the NY cookies. We are familiar with NY style cookies and are normally big fans of them; these were actually the reason we came. But the inside is really a mouthful (or rather, many mouthfuls) of very raw dough that you can barely get down. Such a shame and a waste of money; we bought 5 and they are quite pricey.

I picked up a few cakes. I was shocked by the price when paying. When consuming them at home, I had the second shock. The quality was a real disappointment; they were stale and didn't taste good. Not recommended!

I had the most disappointing experience here. I had been a loyal customer since January of last year and wanted to get cake here for my birthday. I went home with 7 slices, 4 of which were so incredibly dry. It was absolutely not fresh. We went back to point out that this really wasn't normal, and returned with 4 slices (dry Rafaello; the rest wasn't dry but unfortunately didn't look fresh either). When we arrived, they went to consult, and came back saying I could exchange 3 slices (instead of 4) but wouldn't get a refund. For 6 euros per slice, I actually expect better service. In the end, I exchanged it because on my BIRTHDAY I just didn't feel like dealing with so much hassle and already having so much to do as a caregiver. When I got home, I left the cake standing; at room temperature, it was just bone dry again, even worse than the previous one. 48 euros wasted. I really hope you are deeply ashamed; I am never coming back. Oh yes, they also remove comments from Instagram if they aren't positive. Instead of responding properly, they prefer to bury it.

The employee didn't want us to sit on the terrace, even though we had ordered something; very unpleasant! Also, when we wanted to get something to go, the service was very poor. Normally this is never the case; there is always a nice atmosphere and lovely staff. It's a shame, I'm used to something different.

I ordered a medium iced latte, but unfortunately there was very little coffee in it, so it tasted mostly of milk. Additionally, the price was unclear: the board said “from €5”, but I ended up having to pay €6.50. This only became clear after the coffee had already been made, which I didn't like. I didn't try the cookies and cake, but they did look tasty!

Sickening cookies! The cookies weren't fully baked, as if I was eating raw dough. I finished baking them at home because I spent €12 on them (remember, that was for two cookies), and I obviously didn't want to throw that away. I was very curious because they looked delicious, but don't be tempted, these cookies are raw! And the icing on the cake: the service was ridiculous. Not a shred of interest or emotion. Despite the beautiful pastries and wide selection, I was disappointed.

The staff member was disinterested from the start. Then she took two cookies, even though I'd asked for one. Due to the awkward atmosphere, I paid for two anyway. Oh well... After getting home, I tasted the cookies, and they were actually raw inside. The New York-style cookie concept is a bit more raw. However, these varieties weren't fully baked. You taste all the sugar crystals with a strange aftertaste. I assume that's not the intention... All in all, not worth 12 euros!

I got 2 New York cookies when I only intended to buy 1. When she asked which cookie I wanted to buy, I stated I wanted 1 chocolate chip cookie and for some reason the employee started grabbing an oreo first which I thought was for a different customer, but it ended up being on my bill. The cookies are very large, but they don't seem baked properly. The inside is almost completely raw. So raw that I still tasted the sugar granules in one of them. The employee that was helping me seemed very disinterested in her job and overall didn't seem very friendly. Safe to say that I will not be returning here.

I usually came here once a week. On the day of my first child's gender reveal, about an hour before it was scheduled to begin, I went to pick up a matcha tea from this shop. Unfortunately, the lid of the cup wasn't secure enough, causing the matcha to spill onto my dress. This was especially frustrating because I was on my way to my gender reveal, and my entire outfit was covered in it. I ended up having to throw the matcha away. I reported this immediately, hoping for understanding or at least an apology. Unfortunately, they didn't agree, and there was no cooperation or compensation whatsoever. Not even an apology. Precisely because I was a regular customer and because it was such an important and personal occasion, I expected something very different. A small compensation or simply a little understanding would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience has changed my perception of the shop, which I find very disappointing.

ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN! Yesterday I visited Lady Cakery for the first time, after having enthusiastically followed them on social media for a while. Unfortunately, my experience was so disappointing that I won't be returning anytime soon. Upon arrival, I found a chaotic atmosphere. The shop felt more like a social gathering than a professional establishment, with two employees behind the counter busy with private conversations and a group of friends in the shop. A simple greeting was too much to ask, and I felt anything but welcome. The unfriendly attitude and lack of attention made it impossible to browse the selection in peace. In the end, I quickly chose six cookies to try something. The price? A whopping €32! At home, the quality was just as disappointing: the cookies were heavy and greasy, as if a block of butter had been spread on them. With a little effort, you can make similar (or better) cookies at home for a fraction of the price. It's clear that the owner doesn't value customer service or quality, especially considering similar complaints in reviews from six months ago! This visit was absolutely not worth my time and money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I often come here to order a matcha latte and they are also excellent! Similar to other matcha lattes from the city. However, something really needs to be done about the girls' working attitude. They could be a bit more active and service-oriented. You often don't hear them, so you are constantly repeating the sentences. Between 7 and 8 it seems as if the refrigerator has already been unplugged because the cheesecakes and ice cream were melting. A customer after me also indicated this, but the employee could not answer this. Please work on the quality and professionalism. The hygiene is also disappointing! This was the last time for me because the flavors of most baked goods are very disappointing.

What a misleading Instagram you have. After months of following you enthusiastically, we visited you today. First of all, we were shocked by the hygiene in the store... what a messy, dirty mess. And while there were 3 people standing still and very busy with mobile phones and social private conversations among themselves. But other than that, we took products home (2 cookies and 2 bueno ice cream cones). We were allowed to pay €25.70 for this. We thought this was very expensive, but that is why we had high expectations. This was again very disappointing. Cookies were completely raw… the sugar was still crunching between your teeth and stuck in your esophagus. The bueno fell apart on the inside due to dryness and the structure looked like you had sand in your mouth. Took 1/2 bites of both and still felt sour in your stomach for hours afterwards. NEVER again for us.

Today I waited almost an hour in line to eat the dirtiest cake in the world. So dry that it was like concrete and you just taste cheap cream cheese, this is supposed to represent a ferero cake. Throw the entire order into the trash before we get food poisoning. So not worth my money!!

I have seen Lady Cakery online a few times and have also walked by there many times and every time I hesitated to get something, so I went by today and got a cookie in the Oreo flavor and a cookie in the coconut flavor. This was honestly unusual how tasty, I have never had such tasty cookies before. I will definitely come back more often and I definitely recommend it to everyone. Only really super dangerous that I now know that it is so tasty because this means that I can no longer walk past this place without getting something, really great! 😁

Also, someone's opinion is a fact. Tip: throw away that baker of yours because your (MY OPINION) brownies are very dry. He or she is lying because those brownies are anything but fresh. I think it's great that you can taste for me that your brownies are not dry. Check your reviews darling🥴 Take a refresher course with your sour staff on how to receive customers PROFESSIONALLY, because I came in very cheerfully for your information. Truly the tastiest cakes and cupcakes. Everything is of very high quality. The Bruce cake and Dubai products are particularly popular, but actually everything is tasty. Sometimes I find the staff a bit unfriendly and stand off ish. They are often quite young girls who are not yet socially strong.

I've been following Lady Cakery on Instagram for a while and I finally got to taste something! You know the time of the month, so you often buy more than you can eat. I ended up with 4 cake slices that the two of us couldn't even finish. The cheesecake slices are a bit small, but the cake slices are really huge. We had the red velvet cake, pistachio cake, pecan cheesecake and the rafaello cheesecake. It's all incredibly tasty, but the pecan is the real winner. Sweet with a salty caramel sauce and a crisp, thick cookie base, it's not that tasty. The Rafaello cheesecake was also really delicious, but a bit too sweet for me. Well, that was to be expected with such a taste! The cakes were also really great. The pistachio flavor was very subtle and the cream (I think it was buttercream) was smooth and not too sweet. As you can see in the photo, it was a true work of art. Whats not to love. The red velvet was exactly what you would expect. The only downsides for me were the small portions of cheesecakes even though you pay the same price for them as the large cakes. Unfortunately the cake slices were also too dry. A beautiful place with lots of goodies. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
