Great Turkish Restaurant! Super friendly service and incredibly tasty food, the atmosphere is very nice and it is not too noisy with quiet background music. The restrooms are also clean and tidy.

Sep 19, 2026. Went back today. Had a delicious meal. The so-called walk through Turkish cuisine. We are happy to travel back and forth from Almere for that. Until next time. Feb 26 The experience begins right upon arrival. You are greeted warmly and are truly welcomed. The father and son owners, along with the rest of the staff, are very friendly and cordial. Once seated at the table, it is nice that guests entering do not walk through the restaurant; the entrance has been well thought out. Then the meal itself. We had chicken skewers and mixed grill. Both excellent! And if you want extra rice or salad, no problem. Not too much is placed on the table at once, because no food is wasted; top-notch! The desserts and the Turkish tea complete the evening. With a friendly handshake at the exit, we were wished a pleasant evening. WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK HERE!! Greetings from Almere

We ate at l’anatra last night and it was really great! It was our first time and we were with friends: everyone was super enthusiastic about their food. Really super flavorful and a cozy atmosphere. We tried several dishes: the chef's special, the Sultan's favorite, oven dishes, and grill, and everything tasted truly exquisite!! It was pleasantly busy, and at the end of the evening, the owner came to our table. He also came to ask how the food was, and he told us that he had rearranged the place a bit to create cozier corners and an intimate atmosphere that invites you to linger after dinner. We did just that: it was top-notch, and we will definitely be back!

We ate here with the family and were kindly received and served by a lady. The service was welcoming. The dishes tasted good, but we found the portions to be on the very small side in relation to the price. To be honest, I had hoped for a slightly more generously filled plate, so that the price would be better in balance with what you get. I chose the cubes of tender lamb with onions, sweet pepper, and tomatoes. The dish was tasty, but for me, it could have had much more bite and a more refined presentation. With larger portions and some extra attention to presentation, it would be much more appealing.

Very disappointing experience. I had the Lokum for €37 and my friend had the pirzola / lamb chops for €32. There was actually only the meat on the platter. In addition, we were given only a very small bowl of rice and a small bowl of salad in the middle for the two of us. Fries also had to be ordered separately. For these prices, we found the portions very meager. When we pointed this out, the response was defensive rather than professional. Instead of understanding or a normal explanation, a discussion arose about which restaurants do or do not include side dishes. That came across as very unprofessional. Additionally, staff came to ask several times in quick succession if they could start clearing, while we were still eating. That gave us a rushed feeling and prevented us from enjoying our meal in peace. Based on our experience, we do not recognize ourselves at all in the picture painted by the many positive online reviews. For these prices, we expected not only better portions, but also better service and a more respectful handling of feedback. For us, this is no reason to return.

Just returned from a visit to this Turkish restaurant. Highly recommended! Together with my son, we opted for the 7-course Turkish culinary journey (shared dining) so that we could sample a bit of everything. Clean tables and restrooms, prompt service, and clear explanations of what was being served. Everything tasted equally delicious. The staff came by at the right moments to ask if everything was to our liking. The owner stopped by several times to chat and showed genuine interest in my work and my son's education. He does his homework well, because he asked if I knew what my first name means in Turkish. (He had seen it based on the reservation, of course). So, if you want something different from a standard/obvious restaurant, be sure to pay a visit. I wish I could give 6 stars.

So unexpected, because we initially wanted something like a kapsalon. We sat down anyway.... The owner is super friendly, takes his time, and talks about the food and drinks. What a delightful restaurant! We weren't really familiar with Turkish cuisine, so we opted for “A Walk Through the Turkish Kitchen.” This is a 7-course surprise dinner where all the specialties of Turkish cuisine are served. Every course was astonishingly delicious, and it is incomprehensible that you can be so spoiled for €47.50 per person. The service also deserves a huge compliment; without exception, everyone was equally friendly and attentive. Finally, a restaurant where they really know how things work. They are more than worth the 5 stars.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, a real family business, father and son are doing a good job, this is entrepreneurship, customer contact, chatting, we come there twice a year and have been for 14 years now and we still feel welcome every time.

The food was delicious, the portions were generous—not too big or too small—and the quality was excellent. We shared a dessert, the antelope, as it's a generous portion. Highly recommended, especially if you're a fan of Dubai chocolate (but it's still different enough to be unique). The decor is also beautiful. The owner is very hospitable. We will definitely be back!

The service was incredibly welcoming and friendly, with a warm and homey atmosphere. The food was generously served and incredibly delicious. There's also a covered parking garage next to the restaurant, which is ideal, especially on cold days. One small point for improvement is the communication among the younger staff: our plates were cleared while someone at the table was still eating. On Christmas Day, my husband and I enjoyed the "Walk through Turkish Cuisine" experience. It was delicious, with tasty dishes. Osman and his son came over to our table for a lovely chat. The other staff were also friendly and helpful, always explaining what we were having for dinner. A beautiful place, close to a parking garage and bus station. We will definitely be back (we already have, we're regulars).

We had a wonderful evening at L’anatra! Seven Mezzes gave us a taste of Turkey! Authentic Turkish food, a super friendly owner who loves to chat and spoiled us with all sorts of delicious treats. To top it all off, he surprised us by blasting "Happy Birthday" over the loudspeakers and celebrating our 13-year-old daughter with fireworks because it was her birthday. She'll never forget that. We stumbled upon this restaurant without a reservation, but luckily there was a table available. The food was delicious, the service friendly and fast, and the atmosphere very pleasant. The owner is a wonderful host, and we felt immediately welcome. Highly recommended.

A truly delicious experience at L'anatra Restaurant in Breda! We ordered Sac Kavurma and Adana Kebab, and the dishes were filling, full of flavor, and presented in a neat and elegant manner. The rice with hummus was light and complemented the meat, and the fresh Turkish bread melted in the mouth. The side salad was fresh and refreshing, and the grilled vegetables added a wonderful touch. The service was excellent and prompt, and the place was clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Turkish food with a sophisticated flavor.

Friendly owner and waitress. The waiter was rude. The so-called special homemade drinks came from a bottle of lemonade. Portions were very small. The salad was plain and barely fresh. The tzatziki was mediocre. Afterward, the men were still hungry. It's a shame, we're used to something different at Turkish/Greek restaurants. Definitely not recommended and not worth a 4.8.

Yesterday we had a lovely meal with 14 friends. A walk through the menu. This was in honour of my husband and I turning 75.

Traveling at 4.8 ⭐️ If you are ever in Breda, Netherlands; this place is a must for Turkish cuisine. It was my first time in NL and trying Turkish food. The atmosphere was welcoming' service was great and food was memorable. I'll start with the Pornstar (not crazy about the name) Martini, consisting of vanilla vodka and passion fruit and I was 😳 - one of, if not the best martini I've ever had AND it had half of a passion fruit floating in the drink. I had the Mernur and co-worker had some grilled assortments - both great! But wait, there's more.... Ordered the Baklava and Anteplim, which is like a log of Pistachio Dubai pastry but to another level. The milk chocolate was light and smooth and accentuated the dessert pleasantly. The Baklava, though small, was packed with such great balance and the honey was just enough to caress the pastry - unlike other places which tend to drown it. The owner came, introduced himself and checked up on us. He made note that he makes the dessert himself - which I say 🤌🏽 One thing to note, the prices in Breda are above average when going out to eat. All in all, this experience justified the prices. Can't say same about other restaurants I've tried. See my other experiences. Oh... when I'm back in Breda, I'm stopping here again.

A nice restaurant with a parking garage nearby and very friendly staff - absolutely top. As for the food: generally very tasty. The meat is fresh and well prepared, but unfortunately all dishes are quite greasy. In addition, I find the portions on the small side for the price; a starter or dessert is therefore definitely recommended. Too bad there is no Turkish wine on the menu. The general impression is positive, however.

Last week my girlfriend and I had dinner at this Turkish restaurant, and we were both very impressed! The service was super friendly and attentive, which made us feel welcome right away. For main courses I had the Adana and my girlfriend the Beyti, both were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, just as it should be. An absolute must is the Atom as a starter. The flavors were perfectly balanced and it was a great start to the meal. We will definitely be back!
