I often go to Lotti’s for drinks with friends and family, and it’s always a great experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it an easy place to come back to. Special thanks to Christian, great guy, always end up having a laugh with him. He really adds to the overall experience.

Unfortunately it was disappointing

Today I went to The Hoxton, Amsterdam, and I had an absolutely pleasant experience. I often come here to work and have lunch. The Hoxton team is always incredibly caring and makes you feel very comfortable with their kindness. This time, Christian served me and was kind enough to give me great food recommendations, explain special membership offers, and share some lovely conversation. It truly made my day. Thank you!

Nice place but we did not like the food overall

Really enjoyed my afternoon at Lotti’s. I come here more often, it’s a very cozy place. The staff (or actually one guy in particular, his name is Christian), was very nice! I felt seen and he helped me very well. Really enjoyed my afternoon, also because of his good service.

Overall, my experience was just okay. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it definitely wasn’t what I expected. The place itself is nice, but nothing special. It took quite a while before someone came to take our order, and the waiter never asked if we wanted water, which felt like a missed opportunity for basic service. We ordered the sourdough bread, and it arrived on a plain round plate. The presentation could have been much better, and the bread was toasted, giving the impression that it wasn’t very fresh. I ordered the burger, which doesn’t come with fries, but I only realized that once it was served. The waiter never asked if I wanted fries or any other side dish, which was another missed opportunity. The burger was served completely alone on the plate (no small salad or garnish) making it look quite sad. On top of that, I was never asked how I wanted the burger cooked, and I didn’t notice until it arrived at the table. This made me feel that the waiter wasn’t paying much attention. On a positive note, the coffee was good.

Food was so good and service was super nice. Femke was lovely.

Great atmosphere, beautiful hotel in a great location, a fantastic stay! Thank you, Wallace, he also speaks French and was very attentive to our needs throughout our stay.

The lounge, the bar, the atmosphere, the lighting, the armchairs, the cozy and warm decor, the attentive staff, the waiters, the manager Wallas—all incredibly friendly and caring, unlike anything we've experienced before… truly a fantastic place for New Year's Eve when it's cold outside; you can dance, toast, and warm up! Go there and say hello to Wallas for me.

We had dinner at Lotti’s tonight. The Christmas decorations were impressive, the food was delicious with generous portions, and Sepehr helped us in a very friendly and polite manner. He was truly professional and attentive.

The place and food are amazing, but what makes it a very special is the staff. In particular Silver, who really knows what is doing in the kitchen and has a special care for guests.

I Went for a coffe and Fabio made the best capuccino ever.

Nice place to sit, right in the center of Amsterdam, but unfortunately, for us, the food was really subpar. We both ordered codfish: my fish dish was very small for €28 and the seasoning was disappointing, while the fish was otherwise perfectly cooked. My friend had a codfish sandwich, but it was delivered incorrectly twice, and the third—finally the correct one—was also undercooked. That was a shame, especially considering the prices. The atmosphere is nice and the location is great, but it ultimately feels overrated. It was nice that they eventually removed her dish from the bill. No offense intended, but I wouldn't rush back.

My friend and I were visiting from the us and went to use the photobooth but stopped for drinks and it was amazing! We loved the atmosphere and the service from Christian at the bar was amazing! Delicious drinks and without even asking he so kindly brought us over great recommendations for sights to see and places to go out to in town! We loved it so much even went back the next day for coffee once again made delicious by Christian! This place was so amazing and we were so impressed by the kindness and generosity by the staff and it’s so cute for taking pics! We are absolutely coming back next time we visit and I highly recommend everyone to check this place out and request Christian!

Loved the food and the ambiance

I recently visited this coffee place and was really impressed by the excellent service. Leonor and Claudia were both professional, charming, and genuinely friendly. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, always attentive. Their warm attitude and professionalism was remarkable, turning a simple coffee break into something special. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Because of ADE we had an adjusted menu. The scrambled egg on toast was a dissapointment. The sourdough bread was dry, the scrambled eggs were dry and the sauteed mushrooms were dry as well! I was underwhelmed by the quality and taste.

Very nice place, had a lot of fun, I recommend it a lot! The bartenders were amazing, specially Cristian was very friendly.

We came here as a family for breakfast. The menu is great, and the food and ambiance are very good. Unfortunately, the subpar service ruined the experience. Inattentive servers, no one smiled, and (hot) drinks took forever. We waited a long time before anyone even came to the table to take our order. No one even came by themselves, and no one even made eye contact to check if we needed anything else. We encountered three different servers—the level of friendliness was unfortunately consistently low.

First day visiting amsterdam, found this cute spot for breakfast. Entered and asked for a table. Seated me next to a guy on his laptop - so pulled mine out - for the waiter then to say you can't use your laptop here. I pointed at the man next to me and he said guests are allowed. I left, outraged that there can be one rule for hotel guests and one for paying patrons.

Was honestly super disappointed with the brunch. Someone gifted me a 100€ voucher for brunch with cocktails etc. None of the staff knew what to do, they made us wait in limbo for around an hour while we didn't get to order. It was never explained what is included in the brunch experience. Overall the atmosphere and service were really underwhelming, food was mediocre. Ordering off menu also makes you hyper aware that you only spend half of the gifted amount.

Hoxton is always a good vibe but this is the 5th time that I dine at the Lotti’s and the experience is worse and worse that I feel embarrassed I was the one suggesting the spot to my group. Everything was slow, chaotic, unprofessional and overpriced. I am not going into details and they did apologize. Just a few examples: first round of drinks served after 30 minutes ordered while the bartenders were chatting and massaging their colleagues at the service counter. Sent the wrong order and giving us an attitude of “you did order but if you insist we can make a new one though do you eant to wait for another 15 minutes?”. Miserable quality of service.

Below average food and terrible service, the restaurant was half empty but I had to ask three times to receive a drink (draft beer). This is quite unexpected for a hotel like Hoxton.

We popped in for a quick drink and some fries at the bar (us and a baby), but the staff was so accommodating and helpful we lingered and lingered and ate at the restaurant afterwards. What a nice laidback atmosphere. Especially Wollas was very attentive checking in from time tot time making sure we were good and/or needed anything. Top bloke.

A bowl of lukewarm warm soup and a sad slice of bread for €14. Do better Lottis. The slice of bread is listed as a tartine but comes with some uninspired cheese. Very poor. Only plus: The staff was friendly.

Worst lunch I've ever had in Amsterdam. Chicken salad with four tiny pieces of chicken with bones in them, the dressing was lemon juice, and the cheese was from an Albert Heijn bag. The staff couldn't care less. I don't understand why people go there so badly.

This used to be my favorite place in Amsterdam for a coffee. Now they changed the furniture and it looks very cheap. The chairs at the bar used to be so nice and now they have some cheap uncomfortable low ones

Beautiful and highly unethically run business. Our group was taken advantage of by the slimey waiter who asked if we wanted water at the table, and proceeded to bring out 6 euro bottles with the caps opened, knowing we wouldn't want to ruin our friend's birthday by complaining. Then proceeded to charge us 20 euros for a candle and a knife and the privilege of eating our cake, despite the group having been good patrons who ordered plenty of food and drinks. There is a 20 euro per person fee to make a reservation. If you don't reserve, you get judged when you arrive for thinking there would be space on a Friday night for 8 people. Not only was there space, there would've been space for 100 more, so you damn well know that your reservations are dead empty. You're trying to make us feel bad, hoping we will reserve next time, since with every reservation there is a chance that someone has to cancel, and that means free money for you. These practices should be illegal. If you need more revenue, just increase the prices of the menu items, instead of all these underhanded tactics to siphon money from customers who are coming to your restaurant in good faith. And please do a google search on what a Pornstar Martini is before putting it on your drinks menu?

Yesterday was my first time at the hoxton/Lotti's accidentally ask reception to order.Yasmine was super helpful, friendly and very welcoming eventough she was not working with the restaurant. I simply love going to this bar, it’s just such an ambient space to have a cute little drink and socialize with people. Been recently going for jollof menu, it was bomb! But what truly is outstanding is the service, the staff and bartenders are so friendly and welcoming! Astrid (the bartender) is literally my fav person among their personnel, she always has a smile for me, and a recommendation for what to do in the city!! She makes meeeean palomasssss and they are literally to die for! Will be back probably next week lol

I went with my wife for a drink after going out to dinner; this place had been recommended to us. Excellent service and Astrid was so kind.

Love this place for a quick study session (since laptop use is only allowed until 17:00). Maria was the person helping me out: super friendly, fast, and with a kind smile. She made sure to tell me everything I needed to know before I started working on my projects. Highly recommend!

Love this spot, really enjoy the lounge area with comfy couches and chairs to catch up with friends. Bruce provided great service informing me and my friend on wine options and ended with a delicious orange wine. For sure recommend!

Went there for a quick bite and go, and ended up leaving with a great experience. Got helped by Fabio by the Bar, who recommended a nice and refreshing green tea all perfectly balance with the Lotti’s Burger ahahah. Nevertheless super nice and cozy place to be at.

This is a perfect place for coffee, studying, or working. I love the atmosphere, which is calm and relaxing. It’s a versatile spot: great for a quiet dinner that’s not too fancy, a brunch, or spending the afternoon reading at the café. The food feels a bit limited and the prices are on the higher side. Recommendations: the sweet potato dishes and the Turkish eggs. The vegan burger wasn’t very good, go for another option if you can.

I was here with a few schoolmates from Germany, in mid-July. I was satisfied with the service, even though it was a bit more expensive. I was especially pleased with the waitress Paula, who served us very quickly. She was easy to approach and allowed me to charge my phone at an outlet which is built for paying, even though we were sitting at a table farther away from the usual socket so I charged my phone there. Also, the orders were correct and brought quickly, and the restaurant had good temperature and toilet.

Having eaten at this establishment as a foreigner, I was surprised to see mice in an establishment which is serving food. When queried with the staff the response given was along the lines of "it's Amsterdam and we're near the canals so it's common here". It should never be acceptable for an establishment which serves food to be so blase about dealing with an infestation problem. This unfortunately ruined the whole evening and on this premise, I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone.

We waited over 30 minutes to be served while others were served around us. We finally went to the bar and waited another 15 minutes and finally got served. We waited 20 minutes at the bar to pay. We ordered fries and never got them and I’m pretty sure they never put our order in. Would never come back here. We were guests at the hotel so the lack of service was especially disappointing.

This used to be a great place to meet and work in a friendly environment. Today I was told I can’t sit at the bar with my laptop due to a new policy. After I had ordered something! The bar was empty. New bar stools are awful too. Never going back.

Soy celíaco y el primer día me dijeron que la masa madre era gf. Definitivamente no fue porque cuando hice más preguntas el personal de camareros estaba desinformado y no sabía de lo que estaban hablando. Tenía su pan especial. El té verde vino y sabía a agua. Los huevos estaban fríos. El segundo día vi mis huevos puestos en el pase listo para ser llevado a mi mesa y se quedó allí durante 10 minutos! Cuando decidieron traerlo pedí que se hiciera de nuevo. Creo que simplemente no saben lo que están haciendo y tendría mucho cuidado si tienes alergias graves como yo. ¡Tampoco pueden hacer tostadas!

Food prices are a bit high (17 euros for the cedar salad? With chicken as and add on??) but 5 stars for the service, our server Darta made our dinner unforgettable with her funny jokes. Food was nice disregarding the price.

Well, my experience at Lotti’s was an experience that I have never experienced in my experienced life. My waiter Darta was the funniest waiter I have ever had in my funny little life. Her big funny jokes made me re-experience god and exorcism. The matcha latte was mid, but because of the big funny big jokes, that is totally acceptable. I was a bit hesitant at first because of the restaurant’s rating, but honestly, the food was delicious. My only suggestion would be to serve the cheeseburger with a single patty — it would bring out a better balance between the bun, meat, and sauce.

Wonderful hotel in the center of Amsterdam, with a very cozy, almost family-like atmosphere. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The hotel restaurant is excellent, especially the service provided by the staff. I'm especially grateful to Leonor for her professionalism and incredible friendliness. I hope to return soon.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has progressively gone downhill for the last couple of years. I stay at The Hoxton a couple of times per year, over the last 8 or so years. Lottis used to be a destination restaurant, but not its serves a minuscule menu, overcooked food and glacially slow service. Hoxton need to sort this out…

Cenamos aquí en una cálida noche de junio. Nos sirvieron el agua embotellada cara que habíamos pedido a temperatura ambiente sin hielo, que era bastante desagradable. El entrante de hummus y los mordiscos de croqueta eran deliciosos y de buena relación calidad-precio. Los platos principales eran bastante ordinarios en sabor, pero masivamente caros; la ensalada de tomate (ordenado y servido como principal) era pequeño, servido en un plato lateral! Fue vergonzoso para mi compañero de comedor.

Leonor is the person that every morning makes my day. She go the extra mile. Outstanding service. Also at the reception Geraldine is outstanding.

My stay at the hoxton was fantastic. Especially Leonor made my coffee's in the morning a very calming experience. Every time I come to amsterdam I will stay at this lovely place and hope to see her there. :))

We really enjoyed the food ! The Caesar salad and cheeseburger were both excellent. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to expectations. We had to wait about 20 minutes before anyone took our order, and a similar wait just to get the bill. Eventually, we went straight to the cashier to pay. It was clear that one lady was doing her best to manage the entire restaurant on her own, and I genuinely felt bad for her. She was kind and clearly overwhelmed. Still, this isn’t the level of service we expect from the Hoxton experience. Hopefully the team will get the support they need, because the food deserves better service to match.

We came for brunch and I was negatively surprised by the food at this restaurant. Half the menu was out of stock when we got there, but no one told us that when giving the menu, so we had to change our choice on the go when the waiter came to take our order. The salad was ridiculously small, consisting only of a piece of burrata and a few peaces of beetroot. I had to check the menu twice after I got the dish to see if that is indeed all of the ingredients. The atmosphere of this place is, however, really nice, especially with that glass roof, which makes it very cosy.

La verdad es que la experiencia en este restaurante nos decepcionó bastante. Nada más llegar, ya nos estaban metiendo prisa porque la cocina cerraba a las 21:30. Si es así, no entiendo por qué aceptan reservas a las 20:30, ya que apenas tuvimos tiempo para cenar tranquilos. Pero lo peor de todo fue ver ratones paseándose por la sala. Cuando se lo comentamos al personal, nos dijeron que no podían hacer nada porque no está permitido usar veneno en un sitio donde se prepara comida. Perdón? Si consideran normal que los ratones puedan depositar sus heces en la sala y en la cocina? Sinceramente, la limpieza deja mucho que desear y la gestión tampoco ayuda. No recomendaría este sitio a nadie que valore un mínimo de higiene y una experiencia agradable.

We came to this restaurant through the pouring rain to order a banana bread that looked very nice and tasty at the neighbors. Unfortunately we got a poorly presented slice of banana bread and no cookie with the coffee 👎 Another ugly plate, no presentation, we felt treated differently…

Amazing service and good food! We had a nice evening with our host. The portion sizes of our meals was plenty, tasty food options that are rotated every now-and-then, the ambiance was pretty, and wonderful staff that ensure a great visit (quite uncommon nowadays). So, we cannot relate to many of the negative reviews on here and hope that those guests may give a change of heart. *If you are not familiar with Amsterdam, beware that mice in buildings are normal. Many businesses try their best to minimize them, but they are not avoidable in the city!

The food wasn't good. Its poor quality was disguised with sauces. We ordered chicken, and it was completely raw. And the place is infested with mice that roam freely throughout the place.

I’m kinda disappointed with dinner there. Food was on expensive side, but taste of it was nothing specific. The Cote de boef was cold, no sauce, plain piece of meat. Do not recommend for dinner

Stayed at the Hoxton when I was in Amsterdam and ate here for breakfast and also evening drinks. Cube is casual and trendy. Comfortable seating. It does get busy in the evenings so sometimes finding a seat is difficult. Breakfast items come fresh and quick from the attentive service staff. We had breakfast here 3x out of the 4 nights we were at the hotel. Eggs came out perfectly cooked and made to order. The pastries and toast were fresh and their coffee/latte/mocha drinks were made perfectly for the Dutch mornings They have thoughtful cocktail menus with different bases for your tastes. Gin, Scotch, Rum, they had great ratio of alcohol to flavors. We had a few drinks here before we went out again or as a night cap. Highly recommended.

The restaurant Lottie’s is understaffed so I wouldn’t pay for breakfast in advance. The food is good but the lack of service makes every other experience unpleasant.

Yeah, it all looks good, but the taste is not there. Weak coffee and the overnight oats lacked seasoning. Very good pain au chocolat. The wait was 20min despite no that many people there. A dissapointment :-/
