Nice place, but disappointed by the food. Very spicy, which masks the basic flavors. More visually appealing than delicious. I'd recommend it for a drink, though.

Karina made Michelin level cuisine. She is Ana amazing chef and went beyond. I had an incredible experience. I definitely recommend this place.

Booked a table for an anniversary dinner, was instantly greeted and looked after by Inca who was very generous all evening making it a really special experience. Food was great and service was great, nothing bad to say.

I went to lotti’s for a little coffee and a snack and the barista Fabio was 10/10! The coffee was delicious the latte art was beautiful and the service was great.

We discovered this place for lunch… we got the menu with soup and grilled cheese sandwich - perfect comfort food! The place is hidden but huge and beautiful inside! The staff very nice. I would come back.

The other day was my first day in Amsterdam. I sincerely felt welcomed by the place and in specific by Fabio. As an Italian traveling it is always so nice and warm to have a familiar and welcome from others from your own country. Fabio was attentive and responsive to my questions and doubts, which made it so much easier for me to fit in through my journey in Amsterdam. Big thanks to you!

Vibes are good but service is awful. Super unfriendly staff. Instead of bringing us what we ordered they rang in the most expensive version offered of each thing we ordered (wine and beer).

We arrived and the server was very hospitable. I ordered the chicken on a bun. My wife ordered a hamburger. Both came swamped in the Chipotle mayo. The buns fell apart. I had to scrape the mayo off the chicken and eat it that way. The chicken was cooked very well. Moist and tasty as it should be. The chicken was drowned and killed by the mayo. Maybe have the mayo on the side and let customer put their own on. From their notes, I am not sure where the Latin flare was. Maybe the Chipotle mayo?

Wow Lotti's is the place to be! Our server, Fernanda, was so kind and helpful and we felt like we were guests in her home for lunch. The atmosphere was spectacular and they even had a live jazz band playing! How cool!!! I wish they had jazz everyday!!!

It’s way too crowded, laptops are not allowed in the most areas. Way too loud! (Weekday) We got lunch for almost 60€ (2pax), because we wanted to work 1-2 hours aftwerwards in the same Name cafe, but unfortunately too crowded and the tables which were free, laptops are not allowed. There was a lot space upstairs but we were not allowed to go upstairs, even we paid for lunch, coffee etc. I don’t get the concept here

It is cozy and the waiters were very nice, but the food was average and disappointing (price does not match the quality). The lemonade was basically sparkling water with a piece of lemon on top. Do not recommend. There are better places to eat in the area.

Yesterday we enjoyed a nice birthday diner in the Hoxton. Staff was engaged and knew that our daughter was having a birthday and surprised us with 'The Bear' alike intimate service.

Had an absolutely incredible birthday dinner here! The atmosphere was perfect, but the service really made the night. A massive thank you to Nicola for taking such great care of us. She was attentive and made sure the birthday celebrations felt extra special from start to finish. The food and drinks were top-tier as always, but it’s the team that makes this place a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I visited Lotti’s restaurant during Easter and I was pleasantly surprised. A special mention to our waitress, Raquel. She was amazing, very attentive and friendly. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

Very rude waitress at the cafe - the brunette one without the tattoos, the other ones were polite. Theres a difference between asking politely and demanding jeez.

Very nice location and menu choice, I was very well welcomed with my golden retriever dog and a friend and they gave me a table in which she could have enough space to lie down. Service was very fast and food super tasty!

Went with a large group of colleagues. Food is very nice and ambiance is impeccable. Service is also nice and we had a good time. Highlights: the salads, the chicken, the entries and dessert were very well prepared and seasoned. We had some wine and beers. Points to improve: the lemonade is boring and the steak was chewy. I would advise here for couples and groups of friends. Check the conditions for large groups with attention. The food might take a while to get ready, so, be aware.

The place is nice BUT no one came to greet us or take our order for 20 minutes. We finally ordered, and once we were served, we were kindly asked to leave within 10 minutes. A bit short for drinking tea... No discount was offered, even though the waitress admitted her mistake...

I came here on a Monday morning to have a coffee and unexpectedly I had a great time while reading my book. The couches are very comfy and the coffee is great. The service by Bodza was nice and warm. Thanks for that!

unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience from the moment we walk in. we booked a table for 4 but had an extra person come last minute. we simply asked to pull up a chair and the waitresses was appallingly rude, claiming, ‘we can’t pull up a chair and no other table was available so you can’t bring your extra person’. Luckily, the people with us had called beforehand for a larger table, so as we turned the corner, there were serval tables free that would have fit us. Following this, we were demanded to order as the kitchen was closing without prewarning, and then were waiting 35 minutes for the smallest portion size… like 1 piece of toast and, without exaggeration, it was a grey, super watery açai bowl that was ate in 12 slurps. for such a classy hotel, the staff is quite literally the opposite.

We were waiting 35!!! minutes for the drinks(coffee and matcha), even though it was Monday and there wasn't a lot of people, that is actually insane. Also the matcha was extremely bad, it had so many clumps and was really bitter we even asked to add more milk, but then it just lost any taste at all. And it was also 7€ which is extremely overpriced for what we get. Cappuccino was really bitter the proportions were off for sure, it was lacking milk. We didn't get any discount for the extreme wait and in the end we were told that they don't divide check for the groups more than 3 people, but there were 3 of us so that was quite random. But the restaurant and cafe itself looked really good and the music was great.

I typically don’t leave bad reviews (prefer silence) but our dinner here was so bad. See the photo for main vegetarian main. A very small portion for a €20 main and fairy flavourless. Angus steak for my fellow dinners was overcooked and fatty and was served like you’d find in an office cafeteria. But the worst was the octopus. I’m a fairly well travelled guy and have had octopus around the world. But never been served it as only the head and no tentacles at all. And if you’re going to serve the head, say that on the menu. When we complained about it, the chef came out and said he would bring tentacles to us. Which were then the most overcooked bite imaginable. I couldn’t even get my knife through them. And then the chef forgot to make the sides for the mains. On the plus side - servers both in the lounge and the restaurant were wonderful. And great ambiance. The kitchen just let this place down.

Brunch is till 11. You get a lunch menu after that. the options are small and pricey. Taste was ok. I don’t think i will go again.

Unfortunately it was disappointing

Today I went to The Hoxton, Amsterdam, and I had an absolutely pleasant experience. I often come here to work and have lunch. The Hoxton team is always incredibly caring and makes you feel very comfortable with their kindness. This time, Christian served me and was kind enough to give me great food recommendations, explain special membership offers, and share some lovely conversation. It truly made my day. Thank you!

Nice place but we did not like the food overall

Really enjoyed my afternoon at Lotti’s. I come here more often, it’s a very cozy place. The staff (or actually one guy in particular, his name is Christian), was very nice! I felt seen and he helped me very well. Really enjoyed my afternoon, also because of his good service.

Overall, my experience was just okay. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it definitely wasn’t what I expected. The place itself is nice, but nothing special. It took quite a while before someone came to take our order, and the waiter never asked if we wanted water, which felt like a missed opportunity for basic service. We ordered the sourdough bread, and it arrived on a plain round plate. The presentation could have been much better, and the bread was toasted, giving the impression that it wasn’t very fresh. I ordered the burger, which doesn’t come with fries, but I only realized that once it was served. The waiter never asked if I wanted fries or any other side dish, which was another missed opportunity. The burger was served completely alone on the plate (no small salad or garnish) making it look quite sad. On top of that, I was never asked how I wanted the burger cooked, and I didn’t notice until it arrived at the table. This made me feel that the waiter wasn’t paying much attention. On a positive note, the coffee was good.

The lounge, the bar, the atmosphere, the lighting, the armchairs, the cozy and warm decor, the attentive staff, the waiters, the manager Wallas—all incredibly friendly and caring, unlike anything we've experienced before… truly a fantastic place for New Year's Eve when it's cold outside; you can dance, toast, and warm up! Go there and say hello to Wallas for me.

The place and food are amazing, but what makes it a very special is the staff. In particular Silver, who really knows what is doing in the kitchen and has a special care for guests.

I Went for a coffe and Fabio made the best capuccino ever.

Nice place to sit, right in the center of Amsterdam, but unfortunately, for us, the food was really subpar. We both ordered codfish: my fish dish was very small for €28 and the seasoning was disappointing, while the fish was otherwise perfectly cooked. My friend had a codfish sandwich, but it was delivered incorrectly twice, and the third—finally the correct one—was also undercooked. That was a shame, especially considering the prices. The atmosphere is nice and the location is great, but it ultimately feels overrated. It was nice that they eventually removed her dish from the bill. No offense intended, but I wouldn't rush back.

My friend and I were visiting from the us and went to use the photobooth but stopped for drinks and it was amazing! We loved the atmosphere and the service from Christian at the bar was amazing! Delicious drinks and without even asking he so kindly brought us over great recommendations for sights to see and places to go out to in town! We loved it so much even went back the next day for coffee once again made delicious by Christian! This place was so amazing and we were so impressed by the kindness and generosity by the staff and it’s so cute for taking pics! We are absolutely coming back next time we visit and I highly recommend everyone to check this place out and request Christian!

Loved the food and the ambiance

I recently visited this coffee place and was really impressed by the excellent service. Leonor and Claudia were both professional, charming, and genuinely friendly. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, always attentive. Their warm attitude and professionalism was remarkable, turning a simple coffee break into something special. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Because of ADE we had an adjusted menu. The scrambled egg on toast was a dissapointment. The sourdough bread was dry, the scrambled eggs were dry and the sauteed mushrooms were dry as well! I was underwhelmed by the quality and taste.

Very nice place, had a lot of fun, I recommend it a lot! The bartenders were amazing, specially Cristian was very friendly.

We came here as a family for breakfast. The menu is great, and the food and ambiance are very good. Unfortunately, the subpar service ruined the experience. Inattentive servers, no one smiled, and (hot) drinks took forever. We waited a long time before anyone even came to the table to take our order. No one even came by themselves, and no one even made eye contact to check if we needed anything else. We encountered three different servers—the level of friendliness was unfortunately consistently low.

First day visiting amsterdam, found this cute spot for breakfast. Entered and asked for a table. Seated me next to a guy on his laptop - so pulled mine out - for the waiter then to say you can't use your laptop here. I pointed at the man next to me and he said guests are allowed. I left, outraged that there can be one rule for hotel guests and one for paying patrons.

Was honestly super disappointed with the brunch. Someone gifted me a 100€ voucher for brunch with cocktails etc. None of the staff knew what to do, they made us wait in limbo for around an hour while we didn't get to order. It was never explained what is included in the brunch experience. Overall the atmosphere and service were really underwhelming, food was mediocre. Ordering off menu also makes you hyper aware that you only spend half of the gifted amount.

Hoxton is always a good vibe but this is the 5th time that I dine at the Lotti’s and the experience is worse and worse that I feel embarrassed I was the one suggesting the spot to my group. Everything was slow, chaotic, unprofessional and overpriced. I am not going into details and they did apologize. Just a few examples: first round of drinks served after 30 minutes ordered while the bartenders were chatting and massaging their colleagues at the service counter. Sent the wrong order and giving us an attitude of “you did order but if you insist we can make a new one though do you eant to wait for another 15 minutes?”. Miserable quality of service.

Below average food and terrible service, the restaurant was half empty but I had to ask three times to receive a drink (draft beer). This is quite unexpected for a hotel like Hoxton.

We popped in for a quick drink and some fries at the bar (us and a baby), but the staff was so accommodating and helpful we lingered and lingered and ate at the restaurant afterwards. What a nice laidback atmosphere. Especially Wollas was very attentive checking in from time tot time making sure we were good and/or needed anything. Top bloke.

A bowl of lukewarm warm soup and a sad slice of bread for €14. Do better Lottis. The slice of bread is listed as a tartine but comes with some uninspired cheese. Very poor. Only plus: The staff was friendly.

Worst lunch I've ever had in Amsterdam. Chicken salad with four tiny pieces of chicken with bones in them, the dressing was lemon juice, and the cheese was from an Albert Heijn bag. The staff couldn't care less. I don't understand why people go there so badly.

This used to be my favorite place in Amsterdam for a coffee. Now they changed the furniture and it looks very cheap. The chairs at the bar used to be so nice and now they have some cheap uncomfortable low ones

Beautiful and highly unethically run business. Our group was taken advantage of by the slimey waiter who asked if we wanted water at the table, and proceeded to bring out 6 euro bottles with the caps opened, knowing we wouldn't want to ruin our friend's birthday by complaining. Then proceeded to charge us 20 euros for a candle and a knife and the privilege of eating our cake, despite the group having been good patrons who ordered plenty of food and drinks. There is a 20 euro per person fee to make a reservation. If you don't reserve, you get judged when you arrive for thinking there would be space on a Friday night for 8 people. Not only was there space, there would've been space for 100 more, so you damn well know that your reservations are dead empty. You're trying to make us feel bad, hoping we will reserve next time, since with every reservation there is a chance that someone has to cancel, and that means free money for you. These practices should be illegal. If you need more revenue, just increase the prices of the menu items, instead of all these underhanded tactics to siphon money from customers who are coming to your restaurant in good faith. And please do a google search on what a Pornstar Martini is before putting it on your drinks menu?

I simply love going to this bar, it’s just such an ambient space to have a cute little drink and socialize with people. Been recently going for jollof menu, it was bomb! But what truly is outstanding is the service, the staff and bartenders are so friendly and welcoming! Astrid (the bartender) is literally my fav person among their personnel, she always has a smile for me, and a recommendation for what to do in the city!! She makes meeeean palomasssss and they are literally to die for! Will be back probably next week lol

Love this place for a quick study session (since laptop use is only allowed until 17:00). Maria was the person helping me out: super friendly, fast, and with a kind smile. She made sure to tell me everything I needed to know before I started working on my projects. Highly recommend!
