Lucas Drinkwinkel in Wijk 00 Centrum

It's always good when the origins of the ingredients are mentioned on the menu, such as the bread from a well-known bakery, the cheese, and for good reason. I had a delicious lunch with my daughter. Lucas delivers quality at a very reasonable price, with pleasant service. My Weizen Triple from the bottle tasted full-bodied and refreshing. I don't write reviews often, but I'm happy to share this one. In my enthusiasm, I managed to persuade two curious passersby to return to the terrace.

The terrace is ideally located in a small square. A cheese and charcuterie platter is generous with an aperitif. Efficient service

Small, but nice with a nice large terrace in the summer months. Tasty snacks and drinks and sometimes special activities. Located in the old police station on the Grote Markt, so the toilets are the old cells, with I believe the original doors! I like to come there to catch up with old friends, drink and snack, especially toasted sandwiches!

I have never seen such rude behavior anywhere. we sit on the terrace and the waiter replies that he is too busy to take our order (he was chatting with his friends ignoring us)

Good location on the market and the old police station building is also nice. The interior... you could call it authentic, but the dilapidated chairs and benches were uncomfortable. The coffee was good. The meatball bread: bread good, meatball less so. Bread croquette: bread good again, croquette seemed to be fried in old fat.

Nice location in the old center and beautiful business. We ate an egg-truffle salad with Rotterdam old cheese. The whole thing tasted good, but the truffle (flavor) was not really clearly present and the cheese was certainly not Old Rotterdam, but at most extra mature and somewhat tasteless. It was a bit difficult to eat with two thick slices of bread on a (too) small plate. That could be a little better. In addition, a very tasty alcohol-free IPA beer from the Vet & Lazy brewery.

Since I left Schiedam I have been meeting up there occasionally. Met up with four friends today. It was fun, even briefly reverberating a few lines from a song by Rob de Nijs. Nothing wrong with it. The bar owner thought differently and had the bartender ask us if we no longer wanted to sing. I am 58 years old and have been in the catering industry for more than 40 years, but I have never experienced people asking me not to sing anymore. Very exaggerated and we didn't understand it at all. The bartender couldn't explain why when I asked either. I think you can be quite happy if five guests account for a bill of €200 and just behave properly, except for singing six lines from a song by Rob de Nijs. I think you're just finished as a pub. Too bad and quite sad. Next time we will meet somewhere else, that must have been the intention of Drinkwinkel Lucas. So if you do NOT like old-fashioned fun, but rather arrogance and hypocrisy, then feel free to go to Lucas Drinkwinkel.

This remains a wonderful place for a drink on the terrace. Especially if you are lucky enough to get a table against the facade. Unashamedly people watching ;-) And the staff is always all smiles. I like coming here!

Lovely cozy terrace with delicious beers on tap, not to mention fried smoked sausage that is really tasty. The service is also very pleasant and fast.

Early afternoon, still quiet. First black coffee and cappuccino, nice and strong. Then croquette sandwich and burrata muhammara (?). Fresh bread, good mustard, croquettes warm (but somewhat old frying fat(?)). Muhammara hit the mark. Homemade and very fresh. All in all good price quality in this old police station. And some studio54 work as accompanying music.

Very nice and cozy bar in an old police station. It is not too big, which creates a nice cozy atmosphere, during the summer months there is also a large terrace with lots of sun. The service is smooth and very friendly. I'll be back there again soon.

This is a former police station. The former cells are now used as toilets. We were here for lunch. The vegetarian croquettes are delicious, just like the regular croquettes. Nice large terrace. Within about 30 places.

Good beer, good coffee and attentive staff, a relaxed interior and a nice terrace. We like to come here for a drink. It's also nice that they can make a sandwich for children (peanut butter, Nutella or jam). What we are still missing is vegan snacks on the menu!

We made a nice pit stop on the scooters for a cold beer, very friendly service, no cookie bakers who didn't know anything else. Beers nice and cold and good advice for what kind of beer you want. Top business, beautiful terrace.

The food is delicious, but it takes a long time for your lunch to be ready. It took an hour for us to get our lunch. Furthermore, it takes a long time for a waiter to see you and they do not ask if you want something to drink. If they work on this it could be a nice eatery.

So horrible,we would like to eat in that restaurant,the waitor said there kitchen are busy,so we ask them "can we buy the food in supermartket and we take a drink in here,he say YES.Then have another one come to push us out.I know the rule in the restaurant but this day,your service is so bad with the customer who come to eat in your restaurant many time.☹☹☹☹☹
