Truly a very special restaurant, where you immediately feel at home. What is understood is that this formula was created during corona times, when families in IJsselstein had difficulty making ends meet. The owner then started cooking for about 15 families and that resulted in this cozy "living room idea". There are different dishes every time, my wife ate endive stew with a meatball and I had a farmer's onion. "Just" the way mother cooked and very tasty. We will definitely come back to this friendly Tilburg host, of course he also has sausage rolls here in IJsselstein in Utrecht! 🙏💯

Yesterday, on September 10, I picked up food from the cozy lunch and cooking shop Eten van de Vos, located in a charming catering street in IJsselstein. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warm atmosphere of the place and became enthusiastic about what was on the menu. I decided to get the jambalaya with chorizo, and what a great choice it was! The dish was a true explosion of taste. The combination of spices, the perfect balance of flavors, and the deliciously spicy chorizo ​​made every bite a feast for my taste buds. I was really impressed by the sophistication and depth of the flavors. Moreover, the portion was generous; you definitely get value for your money. In addition to the jambalaya, I also chose a quiche. What can I say? It was without a doubt the tastiest quiche I have ever eaten. Each ingredient was carefully chosen and in perfect harmony with the rest. The texture was soft, the flavors subtle but strong, and the crust exactly as it should be: crispy and light. I can't wait to ask them for the recipe, because this quiche was truly a culinary tour de force. What completes the experience are the prices. While nowadays you often pay too much for mediocre quality, Eten van de Vos offers delicious, high-quality dishes at fair prices. You get great quality for an amount that is absolutely not excessive. In short, I am more than enthusiastic about my experience at Eten van de Vos. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, home-cooked food at fantastic value for money! Wow!

Mr. Marcel is a man who thinks about people and not money. The place is clean. Looks good for the day. Heart in the right place, honest. Good recipe for tasty food. Moreover, it is also healthy.

Top-tent, met ook nog eens eerlijke prijzen. Neem de Vosti of de Brie Walnoot Honing tosti, echt genieten. De zelfgemaakte taartjes zijn ook top om te proberen. Leuke eigenaar die graag een praatje maakt, écht een huiskamer gevoel. Doen!

Een heerlijke cappuccino net daarbij een verrukkelijk schuimgebakje. En dat voor een heel vriendelijk prijsje: 5 euro slechts. Ik kom hier zeker terug.

Een aanrader! Alles word met aandacht en vooral met veel enthousiasme bereidt! Ga voor een heerlijke Vosti!

Uit de vitrine bij de Vos koos ik de monchou taart om in die avond op te peuzelen maar met de thee tijd was het heerlijke stuk al verorberd. Heel lekker, met een heerlijke bodem. De Pilav aten we de volgende dag; even opgebakken, en de saus is goed gevuld en lekker pittig, zeker niet tè. Fijn dat er is gekozen voor volkorenrijst. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Prima lunch genoten voor een schappelijke prijs! Verbeterpuntje is wel de koffie (uit automaat), die je zelf kunt tappen. De prijs is ernaar maar toch niet echt iets waar je op zit te wachten, dan liever koffie drinken uit de automaat op kantoor.

Supertjes, goed eten en ambiance. Echt je geld waard. De vostie kei lekker

Informele gezellige eetgelegenheid met zeer vriendelijk geprijsd eten en drinken. Maaltijden afhalen mogelijk. Vriendelijk personeel.

Onlangs een fantastische lunch gehad. Onwijs lekker, de vosti gehakt is goddelijk. Vandaag een feetje gehad op locatie, geweldige service, goede lunch, eigen gebakken appeltaart, soep om je vinger bij af te likken. Geweldig!

Goede voedzame maaltijden om af te halen, de vosti met gehakt is uniek, gemoedelijke sfeer.
