There were no condiments available to accommodate for people who prefer a slightly flavoured meal. No hot sauce or anything which left the coque kind of bland for me. Same with the iced coffee, not enough sugar for me and there was no option to add a syrup in the coffee either to adjust for each person.

It is a nice place. You can have a delicious breakfast and lunch there. I am a fan of the ‘Nieuwland Breakfast’ platter, which features a variety of a few breakfast dishes. The service is helpful and friendly. The food arrives quickly and the atmosphere is pleasant. In short, definitely recommended!!

Thanks to the air conditioning, it is wonderfully comfortable inside, even on warm days. The service is friendly and efficient, making it an excellent place for a business lunch without wasting much time. Furthermore, the bright, modern decor creates a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The portions do not disappoint either: you really get value for money, with tasty dishes that are filling without being too heavy. The central location, within walking distance of many companies in the center of Tilburg, makes it an ideal location to meet with colleagues or business associates. A lunch spot where speed, quality, and atmosphere come together beautifully.

The rendang sandwich was tough. Good flavor, but the meat was not tender enough and there were hard pieces of fat. The club sandwich is tasty. The cortado and the apple pie were deliciously flavorful. The coffee has a mild taste. It was a bit hectic for the staff to handle the peak.

Just had a very tasty lunch here. We had labneh and muhamarah, both incredibly delicious. A cozy and nice place with an original menu. If we lived in the neighborhood, we would come here for lunch often.

A cozy lunch café on the edge of the Dwaalgebied (Wandering Area). When ordering, I mentioned that my daughter has numerous food allergies and had therefore brought her own lunch. The waitress was very attentive: it was no problem and asked if my daughter would like a plate. Believe me, we've had different experiences... I had a delicious croquette rendang, where the kitchen hadn't skimped on the meat. Even the matcha latte was perfect; not bitter, not too hot, and no residue. There were more delicious lunch dishes on the menu, so I'm afraid we'll have to come back again ;-).

When we're in town, Nieuwland is definitely our favorite lunch spot. The atmosphere is cozy, homey, and inviting. Clean restrooms with guest towels—where else do you find that? Friendly and attentive staff. And a very varied menu with all sorts of unique and, above all, delicious dishes. Definitely recommended!

yes you are not welcomed as people said. It's difficult to consume here.

We found ourselves standing in front of a closed door, even though Google indicated the business was open. There was only a note on the door saying they were on vacation—but that's useless if you check online beforehand and see they were open. We had deliberately parked nearby to have breakfast here, but ended up having to walk through the rain to another location (Stubborn Brunch Café—which thankfully was open). Tip to the café: if you're on vacation, also update your opening hours on Google. This prevents disappointment and wet feet for visitors. Update: Thanks for the reply, but I think it's rather misplaced that you're giving me the impression I should have called or searched multiple channels. Google is the default platform where people check opening hours and immediately start their route—not your Instagram, website, or a note on the door. Furthermore, it's factually incorrect that it "takes too long" to adjust Google: changing opening hours (including temporary closures) can be done in five minutes, and is, after all, your own responsibility as a company. It's a shame I got a soaking and then some kind of reprimand. Instead of simply saying, "You're right, we should have communicated this better through Google," I received an explanation that primarily defended your choices. Disappointing.

Iced black coffee was hot. I had to ask for ice two times. Because when I (actually we were 3 people ordering same) said “it is not cold”, they explained this is how they do the coffee: As I understood they put 2-3 ice cubes in hot coffee, resulting the warm-to-hot cofee. I cannot say the taste of coffee was bad but the problem is that iced coffee was warm-to-hot.

We visited Lunchcafé Nieuwland on a cozy afternoon for a small break — just some coffee and a bite. The banana bread was delicious, the cappuccino was smooth, and the café itself has a good ambience. However, our experience with the service left us disappointed. When I asked about juice options — specifically wondering if they had something like a ginger-apple-carrot smoothie — I was interrupted and told to take the English menu so I “wouldn’t have to explain it all.” That response felt unnecessarily dismissive. Throughout our visit, we sensed a lack of warmth in the staff’s approach. It left us wondering — was it because we were English-speaking guests? We can’t say for sure, but we certainly did not feel welcome. Other cafés we’ve visited in the area offer not just great coffee and food, but also a genuine sense of hospitality and inclusiveness. Sadly, that was missing here. Whether we’ll return? We’re not sure. A smile and a little kindness can make all the difference.

Lunchcafé Nieuwland is described in ‘Your Little Black Book’ as one of the five best coffee shops in Tilburg. And that the coffee shop is good…that is not a lie. The coffee was really delicious and also so nice and warm. We had a brioche with warm brie with onion chutney, mushrooms and crispy bacon. Delicious! The staff takes the time for a chat, you really feel welcome there. In addition, the ambiance is very cozy and pleasant. We were lucky that we also sat in the lovely sun. In short, this coffee shop is highly recommended!!

Very atmospheric place with nice, quiet background music. The food is delicious. I had the Croque Rendang, which has a good taste and texture is perfect! The meat is juicy and tender. Pistachio latte and fresh tea is also tasty. There is also plenty of choice for vegetarians. I am very satisfied. This is highly recommended!

Good high tea, choice of all flavors of tea. We are regularly asked if everything is to your satisfaction. I thought it was a shame that there were only 2 times for high tea. Personally, I always like an hour or so. In addition, the time is relatively short for a high tea, max 2 hours.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would do that. While it is cozy place,I can't understand why so much pressure to the costumers. I was with my friend at that place literally 1hr and 15 mins and the waitress came at least 5 to 6 times to our table to ask if we need something extra. We bought 2 taarts and 2 coffees so I can't understand why you don't leave people to drink their coffees without going so many times to their table till they buy something more or apparently..they leave!We apparently left within 1 hr and 15mins because we were feeling that wouldn't really let us more a bit more time without coming to our table again. Leave people to drink their coffees for thanks God!!!

We had a very nice lunch inside, super friendly service and cozy decor. Lunch was very tasty. I've also had the scones there before and they were delicious too. A downside for me is the lukewarm cappuccino/latte macchiato. Not warm when served and therefore cold very quickly. So I will skip that from now on. Otherwise nice tent

Yesterday I had a Caesar sandwich on the terrace and it was very tasty. Service was friendly and smooth. The only downside I think is the 0% sugar homemade strawberry/raspberry lemonade. It really tasted like cheap orange juice such as carvan cevitam with 0% sugar and lots of sweeteners.

Ontzettende gore koffie voor meer dan 3 euro. Wat ik ook vreemd vind is dat de koffie zonder iets op tafel wordt gezet. Dus eventueel suiker of melk moet je om vragen. Zonder melk was de koffie sowieso niet te drinken

Today we had lunch at Nieuwland with colleagues (group of 16). It was perfectly organized and the food was super delicious! The Buratta from the new menu is highly recommended!

To begin. We had a delicious meal. And certainly helped well upon arrival. However, we do have a few downsides. After the food arrived, no one looked after us. The person serving chatted with someone for 20 minutes and therefore paid little attention to us and the rest. This means no second drink. The second problem we found was the presence of dogs. There were three dogs inside (1 small and two large). We are not fans of big wiggling (smelly) tails in a restaurant. After the delicious food, we didn't leave feeling satisfied. Maybe better next time...

Je krijgt hier een huiskamer gevoel. Je kunt lekker ongestoord praten. Ze komen gelukkig niet om de 5 minuten langs om te vragen als je nog wat wilt. De nachos waren erg lekker. Brood was zacht en krokant. Aandacht punt is toch wel servies en servetten, die hebben wij niet gekregen.

Hier terecht gekomen voor het ontbijt. Lekker buiten kunnen zitten en ok bediening. Een zgn Bun besteld en 1 omelet. Het omelet was ok, maar wel 14 euro. En dan die Bun: 1 klein wit broodje met kaas, omelet, tomaat en avocado creme. En voor 13 euro, dat viel stevig tegen. Met 1 ice coffee en cappuccino mochten we 35 euro afrekenen, auw. Als dit de nieuwe prijzen zijn is het echt minder leuk aan het worden.

Heb koffie op dacht dat er weinig personeel was daar het lang duurde eer dat ze op kwamen nemen maar grootste gedeelte van personeel stond binnen voor zich uit te kijken, bij afrekenen leek het wel een afschuif systeem, conclusie niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

De luxe limonade is heerlijk. Broodjes ook. Ruime keuze, leuk terras

This café is located in a pleasant area, on the walk from the train station to the centre of town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace. We had a coffee and a green tea, disappointingly they didn’t take cash and it was necessary to pay by credit card.
