I read a similar negative experience elsewhere in the feedback on this lunchroom. My mother needed to go to the toilet and I knew that there was a nice coffee shop but the owner had changed, well that shouldn't be a problem right. We step inside and the Chinese owner approached us. I asked if my mother could go to the toilet, she said quite loudly that costs money. I said that is normal.. "1 euro, Hello, that is quite expensive" to which she did not respond well to me, that if I was a customer who bought something it was free. I put down a euro and accompanied my mother to the toilet. I walked back and said that I didn't think it was nice how she reacted, I have to pee very often and pregnant women who have to pee a lot will lose a lot of money if everyone asks for 1 euro" she said "pregnant women are different" I said how do you see that... she said you want to go to the toilet for free... the discussion ended and she ducked into a corner somewhere behind the bar. I don't know what their coffee tastes like or apple pie but I do know that I will never eat it there. This is someone who doesn't customer-friendly is a shame because this COSTS you a lot of money!! In Holland they always say "The customer is king" ps the toilet was not even tidy, I heard from my mother ... really grrrrr

Unsympathetic people there. Asked politely if I could pee. (Which costs €1, and which I didn't have in cash at the time, and then get the answer: that's what they all say..!) Another had said without complaining: just keep walking this time. But no, this woman was quite difficult but was allowed in the end. I thanked them kindly for that, but there was no positivity, because yes, without that €1, you obviously won't get your turnover... Also a very atmospheric store...

No longer a pleasant lunchroom. The atmosphere is gone, and it's not recommended for lunch. Brafour Beverwijk is better, and the staff is friendly.

Lovely quiet restaurant. Nice staff. Delicious cappuccino with apple pie. Made a little warm as it should be. Class. Friendly to the disabled.

Beetje oubollig maar goed eten en drinken voor een gunstige prijs.
