Lunchroom Ligterink in Centrum

Wonderful place, the staff were very helpful.

I read a similar negative experience elsewhere in the reviews about this lunchroom. My mother desperately needed to use the restroom, and I knew there was a nice coffee shop there, but the owner had changed, so that shouldn't be a problem, right? We walked in, and the Chinese owner approached us. I asked if my mother could use the restroom, and she said quite loudly, "It costs money." I replied, "That's normal. 1 euro, hello, that's quite expensive." She responded rudely, saying that if I was a customer who bought something, it was free. I paid 1 euro and accompanied my mother to the restroom. I walked back and said that I didn't think it was very nice how she reacted. I myself have to pee very often and pregnant women who have to pee a lot spend a lot of money if everyone asks for 1 euro." She said "pregnant women are different." I said how do you see that then ... she said you want to go to the toilet for free. The discussion was over and I dove behind the bar in a corner somewhere. I don't know what their coffee or apple pie tastes like, but I do know that I will never have it there. This is someone who is not customer friendly, too bad because this will COST you a lot of money!! In Holland they always say "The customer is king" PS the toilet wasn't even clean I heard from my mother ... really grrrrr

Unfriendly people there. I politely asked if I could use the toilet. (Which costs €1, and which I didn't have cash at the time, only to be told: that's what they all say...!) Someone else had said without hesitation: just move on for this one. But no, this woman was quite difficult but was eventually allowed. I thanked her politely, but there was no positivity to be found, because, well, without that €1, you don't get your sales... Also, a terribly lackluster shop.

No longer a pleasant lunchroom. The atmosphere is gone, and it's not recommended for lunch. Brafour Beverwijk is better, and the staff is friendly.

Lovely quiet restaurant. Nice staff. Delicious cappuccino with apple pie. Made a little warm as it should be. Class. Friendly to the disabled.

Beetje oubollig maar goed eten en drinken voor een gunstige prijs.
