Super fun, you really go back in time. Mr. van Vlerken is always friendly and sociable. The coffee always tastes delicious and the pastries just as well. Definitely recommended for a drink. I've been there a few times with my mother and son for a nice cup of coffee and it certainly won't be the last time.

What craftsmanship next to the many Saint chocolate. My jaw dropped when I saw the marzipan display and arrangement in the store. A real pleasure. From bitterballen to the Minions.

What a place! So much atmosphere, very sweet gentleman who runs the store. It is a family business from 1903 if I remember the year correctly. Delicious snacks and chocolate milk made from real cocoa. Everything homemade, whipped cream did not come from a spray can but homemade. Highly recommended! To walk by or have a drink.

My favorite place to get a delicious pastry for years. The truffles are my favorite: the tastiest ever!

I happened to be there today, a gem from bygone (good) times. One tart looks better than the other. As soon as you enter, your mouth starts watering. Very nice owner serves friendly and quickly. I had an Appelbollen, 2 truffles and 1 cup of coffee for €7.50. Addictive and really cheap. I'll be back!!!

While walking through the center of Tilburg, I accidentally noticed a display case with desserts and decided to go in, for some reason my heart told me that this is a city with an atmosphere. An elderly man came out to serve me, as I understand it, the confectioner himself. He was incredibly sweet and welcoming, especially considering I don't speak Dutch. The prices are surprisingly low and the cakes are simply amazing. I was in a hurry, so I took the cake with me, but next time I will definitely stay in the cafe

Like going back in time! Very nice pastries and cozy atmosphere. Tea from a tea pot and real coffee as it used to be made. They also have very tasty sausage rolls and goat legs. Hopefully this nostalgic baker will remain in Tilburg for a long time.

Wonderfully homely bakery, great atmosphere, an example of Brabant conviviality. Very tasty chocolate balls, better than 'the real' Bossche Bollen. More real chocolate instead of De Groot's sugar coating (which unfortunately we encounter more often these days). Bakers in Brabant, visit from Vlerken in Tilburg, taste the chocolate ball and follow suit.

Ontzettend leuk en knus bakkerijtje en dhr Van Vlerken is niet alleen heel vriendelijk maar maakt ook heerlijke gebakjes. Een bezoekje waard!

Authentiek, persoonlijk, kwaliteit

Wat een ontzettend leuke winkel. Voor verse bonbons en andere chocolade producten. Ook gebak en andere producten. En zeker niet duur! Het was terug in de tijd, met een super service. Heerlijk vers gebak met een cacao drankje op. Vrindin een vers kopje thee. Veel thee smaken aanwezig. We komen er zeker nog een keer terug. Moeten zuinig zijn op zulke winkels.

It doesn't get better! Not only are the baked goods absolutely perfect (and handmade!), the hot chocolate is made of real chocolate too und the coffee actually really good. The shop itself is just as sweet as the many many pastries and the owner absolutely lovely. He speaks, apart from Dutch, very well German and also a bit of English - he even is touched by you enjoying his work! Please come in, the window front is inviting and so is everything else! Plus: the prices are actually very very reasonable - only a bit of music would make this experience over the top amazing, but without it there is more space for focusing on the most important here: the taste 😉! Beim Eintritt, das Gefühl im Schlaraffenland angekommen zu sein. Alles selbstgemachte Köstlichkeiten wo man hinschaut, und die Heiße Schokolade ein Traum, der Kaffee köstlich. Und die Preise fast zu günstig, .....ein Muss hier zu pausieren und zu schlemmen.

Pasé por la puerta y me llamó la atención por el aire retro, antiguo que me gustó. No había nadie. Me atendió un hombre bastante mayor que pensé que debería estar ya jubilado. Pedí una tartita del mostrador y NO me gustó nada que la cogiera sin pinzas o guantes tocando por todos lados. El capuccino tampoco me gustó. No tenía nada espuma, parecía un café aguado. Nadie más entró en el local. Para pagar tuve que insistir y gritar un poco ya que el hombre se había metido dentro. Pasé por este local varios días y siempre estaba vacío y eso que está en el centro. Muy raro.

Een bijzondere ervaring. Lekker met mijn kleindochter even pauzeren tijdens het shoppen. Een gezellig winkeltje. Heerlijk gebak en koffie en thee waren ook naar wens. De bediening was prima. En dan de prijs, bijzonder betaalbaar. Echt een aanrader!

Een uitzonderlijke eerste ervaring, voornamelijk door de eigenaar. Heerlijk genoten van de gebakjes, zeker, maar wat me bij zal blijven is de vriendelijke persoonlijke aandacht in de winkel.

Heerlijke truffels gehaald super lieve man die ons geholpen heeft. Ik kom zeker terug, er was zoveel lekkers in dat kleine winkeltje.

Heerlijk gebak. Leuke beetje ouderwetse winkel. Nog zo'n eigenaar die naar zijn ovens moet en die je vol vertrouwen alleen in zijn winkel laat! Waar vind je die nog en waar kan her nog!

Als ik meer sterren kon geven had ik het gedaan! De ALLERBESTE truffels die je ooit zal proeven! Ik woon inmiddels niet meer in Tilburg dus kan niet m’n wekelijkse zakje truffels halen maar als ik in de buurt ben moet ik hier langs. Ook de eigenaar verdient meer dan 5 sterren! Ik hoop hier nog heel lang m’n truffels te kunnen halen.

Zalig! Ga er 's binnen en geniet van een goed bakje koffie met heerlijks!
