Personeel was constant bezig met andere zaken en daardoor was de service niet goed. Eten was matig. Wat ik had bestelt was ook niet compleet waardoor ik de helft niet kreeg, maar het stond wel op de bon. Dit moest ik zelfs aangeven bij het afrekenen. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. TIP: TOON MEER AANDACHT AAN JE GASTEN!!!

Had dinner with the family yesterday. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the food came quickly. There was a small misunderstanding where my sister's main course was forgotten, but after enquiry, it was delivered quickly and she even got some extras, which we really appreciated. Really nothing to complain about. Definitely a restaurant we will return to!

Way too many people in relation to the space. You make a reservation properly and they ask you to wait, the final score was 35 minutes waiting for our table. For the prices you pay you expect some service. This was absolutely impossible to find here. Unfriendly waitresses and when a man wanted to ask if I could move up for a moment so that payment could be made, it was "can you please.... *moves hand*". Jesus so unprofessional. Paid €190 for 4 people, the experience with the location + staff is absolutely not worth it. The food was somewhat okay, but not worth it at all in combination with the rest. The fries were SO salty, a 4 euro coke isn't enough. No thanks.

We had a really delicious meal. The spare ribs and tenderloin were our favorites, but it is actually difficult to choose at this restaurant! The mocktails are also very tasty. The staff is very friendly and it is in a nice location! We will definitely come back here for iftar!

Nice staff and relatively quick service. The food was nice however the meat was not medium rare throughout which was a but disappointing (could be because it was laying on hot vegetables). The cocktails are okay, really good if you like sweet flavours, however I believe it was a mocktail and not a cocktail(still recommended).Dessert was really nice.

Worst ribs I've eaten in my life. For the price (€29.90) we expect a minimum of quality which is not there, the quality of the meat is mediocre, the accompaniments are wanting and the decoration resembles any snack or grill house in the city. The restaurant sets exorbitant prices, in itself I am not against it, but if you do that you will have to justify them with the quality of your product and the standing of the restaurant. Only positive point: the service was pleasant. In short, go elsewhere, you will eat better and for less money. This restaurant is a fraud, and I'm not picky.

Very disappointing experience. We recently ate at your establishment for a total of €94, and unfortunately, this experience did not live up to our expectations. I would have preferred to eat a good fast food for three cheaper but at least the quality would have been there. The quality of the dishes: The meats served were lukewarm, barely placed on the table, and lacked seasoning, except for the chicken which was OK. As for the fries, they were way too salty, to the point of being inedible. The service: The wait was particularly long even though the restaurant was empty. In addition, we asked for a cheesecake from a waitress who, after putting it on a plate, left it on a counter without warning us. We had to guess that the dessert was to be collected ourselves. It almost seemed like we were disturbing. We would still like to thank the two brunette waitresses for their professionalism and their responsiveness despite the context.

Het eten was heerlijk en het personeel erg vriendelijk. Ons eten werd snel geserveerd, wat fijn was. Wel vond ik de porties aan de kleine kant, wat een beetje tegenviel. Al met al een prima plek om een keer te eten, maar het heeft me niet genoeg overtuigd om snel terug te komen.

Very very good restaurant, the meat is quality and the cooking is mastered. I enjoyed eating red meat for the first time in my life, it was a treat. Madeira House in Rotterdam, a place where you will be disappointed in every respect. Here they have managed to sell a glorified snack bar as a chic restaurant. But let's be honest: it's no less than that. A snack bar. Only then with prices that will make your stomach turn before you even take your first bite. You have to dig so deep into your pockets for a few disgusting spareribs that you wonder if there's a wrong comma in the menu. Scream duration. The staff? That's a story in itself. Unfriendly, uninterested, and you get the feeling that you are disturbing them in their daily idleness. They stand there as if they are trapped in their own bad choices. You end up sitting on a rickety garden chair, in a half-empty shop where the atmosphere is lacking and the draft gradually makes you hypothermic. You look around and see a cold, chilly building that's more reminiscent of a failed garage sale than a diner. The spare ribs? They should be taken off the menu, or better yet: send the entire dish to sea on a boat. And then that price, so high that you almost wonder if they hope you completely forget that you are paying for a glorified snack bar. Wouldn't low prices be easier if you were involved in money laundering? Here you are sitting in front of a tasteless plate of food, among the kind of customers who apparently are not bothered by this mismanagement. Madeira House in Rotterdam, a sad chapter in the culinary world.

Welcoming and clean restaurant with friendly staff who speak to you personally during service. Okay admittedly it was quiet during our lunch. However, certain things routinely go well because people are well organised. Guest away? Clean directly on, under and around the table. Wow! Oh yes......Enjoy good music while enjoying a tasty and fresh meal! We will definitely go back, also... to taste the rest of the menu! Top Tent! Para chuparse los dedos!!

It's a place I went to without making a reservation. It's very close to the tram station in Rotterdam. After you get off, you walk for 5 minutes from the tram. It's not a very big restaurant, it has a few tables outside, the staff are friendly and polite, the food we ate was quite delicious, we ate chicken stuffed with spinach, grilled chicken and ribs, especially the ribs were cooked perfectly. When I picked it up, it was falling out. In fact, both the chicken and the ribs were delicious, but I cannot say the same for the desserts. The presentation was very nice. If you are in Rotterdam, be sure to stop by and eat, especially try the ribs, if you want for dessert, taste it, it's up to you.

Came in, employee already had attitude! We ordered 4 burgers, 1 burrito and twister fries, but we had to wait an hour for 4 burgers?! Finally we wanted to leave they said 2 more minutes???? In the end it took an extra 10 minutes AND we didn't get a burrito and twister fries... Never again for us. For service 2 stars, because we got a 10 euro discount💀💀 but our drinks were taken without them being empty.

I had the mix grill. The meat was mostly good and tasty. I asked them to make the steak medium, but it was more like we'll done. So keep that in mind. Furthermore, it was pretty expensive. Mix grill with some fries and an ice tea was like 35 euros. A more fair price would've been like 25 euros for this.

The spare ribs are good and also the mixed grill however my meat was not medium cooked, but lamb chop, chicken and kebab were well cooked. Portions are too small for the price you pay to my opinion.

Absolutely loved the place and food. One of the best burgers I have ever had. I normally don't give such high reviews but this place really captured me. The menu was a little restricted due to Ramzan but I whatever was available was top notch . Tried their smoothie mango dream which was also good Really enjoyed the Madera burger. Staff was also friendly and cooperative. Prices are bit on the higher side.

Walked in last minute, received a warm and friendly welcome, despite a fully booked schedule, a place was prepared for us for the iftar menu. Alhamdoullah we had a delicious meal, the children enjoyed it and I left the restaurant with a wonderfully satisfied and good feeling. Top of a team! Super cooperative and friendly, nothing is too much for these lovely people! Jazaakoum Allah for the wonderful experience and we will definitely return. The tastiest spare ribs ever discovered oh and the stuffed chicken is delicious too! The restaurant is a bit on the large side and noisy, maybe turn up the music a little, you can hear the neighbors' conversations completely 😅 is a tip. Always delicious food here.

We literally called Madera Rotterdam 22 times and only on the last time did we get an employee on the phone. Unfortunately we were not helped further. Because we wanted a reservation for 4 places. To our surprise we were told to text? How unprofessional! If things are that difficult, we would rather eat somewhere else.

We had to wait a very long time before we were allowed to sit at a table and waited a long time for our food, then two people received a well-done steak while they ordered medium... Then we had to wait a very long time for 2 new steaks. The table was also cleared very late…. Service could really be much better…

Today we ate at Madera House for the first time. Everything was tasty, but especially this strawberry Pinacolada drink has become my favorite.

Staff = disgustingly arrogant service (except for one male clerk) Food was SO EMBARRASSINGLY little that you dare to ask for that for that price?! That's almost haram and not a scam. and food completely covered in sauce, you could have just put that sauce in a bottle on the table "yes, drink this"

Everything is halal, no alcohol served. Spareribs are awesome, as meat lover the BBQ spareribs are a bit too much, would suggest classical spareribs if you prefer the meaty flavourful spareribs.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Madera House en wat is het personeel lief en behulpzaam. Ik was hier samen met mijn man en mijn zoontje van 3 maanden. We zaten eerst bij de deur, maar al gauw bood een van het personeel ons een andere plek aan ivm de kou. Ook kregen wij een speeltje voor het geval hij gaat huilen en kreeg ik zelfs zonder te vragen heet water om zijn flesje te verwarmen. Zoo zoo lief!! Het personeel hier werkt met passie en we zijn echt goed behandeld. Speciale dank gaat naar de mevrouw die engels sprak (ik weet haar naam helaas niet meer)!!! Het eten was ook echt top. Vooral de ossenhaas steak en naked velvet. Ik raad deze plek echt aan en ik kom zeker terug :-). We love Madera House <3

It's a good restaurant for those who want to eat out Halal. However it's not meant for people with low income. Because you will pay €100 on average for 2 people. I didn't like the taste of their ribs or steak however their chicken wings and dessert were perfect. Really friendly staff in this place however i felt ashamed for not paying a tip above the Heavy price for the food. Will i go back to this place. Maybe yes for the food, but not with the price. I parked on the street nearby for around 5 Euro per hour. However there is cheap parking within walking distance.

Schone en leuk ingerichte restaurant met hele fijne medewerkers. Ik ben na het eten wel een beetje ziek geworden maar mijn partner niet terwijl we het zelfde aten. Verder merkten we tijdens het eten ook geen rare smaak etc dus of het echt aan het eten lag durf ik niet met zekerheid te zeggen.

Lekkerste sparibs van Nederland! Normaliter 5 sterren maar gezien er geen gebedsruimte aanwezig is een dikke 4 sterren.

Wij hebben vandaag bij Madera House gegeten en gaan zeker terug. Het eten was overheerlijk, de service was top en de sfeer was super gezellig. Echte aanrader 👌

We hadden eigenlijk gehoopt op een ontbijt, maar door een misverstand kregen we te horen dat het niet langer beschikbaar was. Verrassend genoeg kreeg een andere gast die later binnenkwam wel ontbijt geserveerd. Toen we dit aan het personeel meldden, boden ze ons herhaaldelijk excuses aan en stelden ze koffie en ontbijt voor als tegemoetkoming. Hoewel het niet nodig was, toont dit gebaar zeker de klantvriendelijkheid aan van het Madera-personeel. Ondanks het ontbijtmisverstand, hebben we genoten van de heerlijke Madera burger!

Heerlijk gegeten met de hele familie. De beste spareribs die ik ooit heb gegeten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. Het eten wordt ook snel bereidt, binnen halfuur was ons eten op tafel. Dus heb je trek in een lekkere spareribs of steak dan is het zeker de moeite waard langs te gaan.

Probably the best restaurant in the city. After we were welcomed with a smile in a warm and cosy restaurant, our waiter approached with a totally wonderful menu full of food and drinks. We chose the mixed option with lamb, chicken, beef and ribs 🔥🔥🔥 Everything was super tasty and simply delicious 🤤 The personnel were very pleasant and aware of our feelings. The food was fresh and felt pretty yummy in our bellies 😊 The service was excellent 👏 The prices are extremely affordable. We had a main dish, multiple drinks and an amazing desert (snickers cake) for only 55 euros 🤤 Thank you again for a lovely evening, we will definitely come back again! 🤩 5/5!!! 🔥

Lekkere spare ribs en super aardige manager

Het eten was super lekker en de medewerkers waren ook echt vriendelijk! Spare ribs waren heerlijk en de steak was zeker mals! Toch ook een paar minpunten. Wij kwamen afgelopen zaterdag rond 7 uur daar eten en bepaalde items op het menu waren niet meer beschikbaar (zoals de pina colada en de dynamite shrimps). Dat was wel een tegenvaller op de zaterdagavond. Kortom, super tent om lekker halal te kunnen eten!

Snap niet dat deze tent vol zat. Half uur moeten wachten voordat we ons drinken kregen. Muziek stond echt hard net of je in een bar zit. Daarnaast ook koud en tochtig binnen. Personeel ongeïnteresseerd. Carpaccio ijskoud (net uit de vriezer denk ik) We waren met veel en kwamen er thuis achter dat net als een review hier beneden een extra menu is aangerekend. Belachelijk. Controleer dus goed je bon! (Als je nog van plan bent hier te eten, want wij gaan niet meer)

Walgelijk restaurant! Bij binnenkomst klein chagrijnig meisje met hoofddoek die je scheef aankijkt en niet naar je tafel brengt maar je 10 min laat staan. Daarna meer dan een uur gewacht op ons eten. Eten was lauw en smerig. Vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid bestaat hier niet. Hadden we maar eerst de recensies hier gelezen dan waren we nooit gegaan.

Voor mij eerste en laatste keer!!! Na lang zoeken op dit eettent beland. Menú besteld eten gekregen duurde niet lang dat scheelt. Gegeten lekker rustig kunnen bijkletsen met vriendin. Moesten zelf vragen om tafel af te ruimen en of we menukaart mochten voor wat. (Apart terwijl niet druk was) Onze koffie op opgestaan rekening betaald. Toen ik thuis aankwam wou ik mijn deel van de rekening overmaken naar mijn vriendin en kwam ik er achter dat er gewoon een heel menú van bijna 26 euro extra in rekening is gebracht like what. Zo stom dat we dat niet eerder zagen, maar goed wij helemaal weer terug naar de zaak verhaal gehaald. Totaal niet vriendelijk excuus werd wel aangeboden, maar meteen vinger wijze op een een ander. Sorryy met alle respect ik moest vanuit huis weer terug voor letterlijk een hele menú die extra is berekenend had op ze minst laten blijken op een professionele manier je excuses aangeboden en desnoods wat aangeboden of wat dan ook bedoel maar de manier houding nee hou niet van kapsones was maar 1 die vriendelijk was dat meisje dat nog niet goed nl sprak rest mag echt een cursus vriendelijkheid nemen!! Jammer maar hell no dat ik hier terug kom!
