Exceptional bakery, very good French bread with delicious pastries, I recommend 100%

Real French bakery. French speaking employees, but can also speak some Dutch. Lots of goodies (croissants) and cakes. Also baguettes and various breads, but they are extremely scarce and almost all gone by noon. Also not much choice in that specifically. However, very tasty. The bread can be sliced, they do this in very thin slices via a machine. The atmosphere and display are very sober in my opinion, but relatively clean. A bit of mold in a corner near the windows, but that is not the case with the display cases and the bread. Prices are high, but that is the case with a real bakery these days…! Note that the bread assortment sells out quickly and there is sometimes a queue. A website or something like that would be useful in these times!

Almost as good as a French bakery in Hilversum... but not quite. There were also some slightly burnt croissants and you won't find that in Hilversum. But still, nice bakery.

Absolutely best bakery this side of French border. Croissants to die for. Edit: I have since moved out of Bussum to Baarn, and I now I drive 20km each weekend, and often during workdays, to buy what are probably the best croissants and best bread in NL. The fact that there is usually a 10m line outside of the store on Saturday mornings tells me there are others sharing this opinion. Really worth a visit.

As a Frenchwoman, I love coming here, it feels like coming home! They are always ready with a smile and the products are as I know them from home in France! I see comments about an apple pie with too little filling, a tarte aux pommes cannot be compared to an apple pie ☺️

Puff pastry apple pie and baguette was 15 euros and was a lot of puff, little apple or other filling. It was a gift from my mother, so I didn't choose it myself, but very disappointing value for money.

Going to Maison Gourmande is like a mini vacation to France. Order in French and everything looks like you are in France. The croissants, pain au chocolat, quiche, tarte au pomme. Everything exactly as it should be. No modern frills but classic top quality!

A French bakery, but prices a little high for not exceptional quality. Barely out of the bakery, the bags were already soaked with the fat from the pastries.

This bakery makes me feel like I'm on holiday in France. The staff does not speak Dutch, but this is not a problem. The breads and pastries are of good quality. Croissants and small loaves are fairly priced, other breads are on the expensive side for €7

Good quality bread and pastries. Authentic French preparations and ingredients. No nonsense mentality. A sole proprietorship with a good product.

my husband pre-ordered a cat shaped cake with 2 weeks notice, the bakery said it was fine. When it was time to pick up the cake, they handed over the cake with the box closed and said nothing. When we opened the box a few minutes later we realized it was just their standard cake, when we came back a few minutes later they just said “they couldn't do it” without any explanation. Even after that we tried the cake and decided to throw it away, the taste was too artificial.

Delicious real French croissants, bread, pastries, cakes and delicious quiches. Everyone speaks French and also Dutch. A very nice, truly French bakery. Highly recommended in the Gooi.

Keep a close eye on what hits this Frenchwoman at the cash register. Bought 2 eclairs and 2 other pastries. Will you be charged for 6 eclairs plus the 2 other pastries. Unfortunately, she did this very quickly and we saw it too late. People pay attention. Madame probably thinks that strange people who come into her business are retarded. De la folie, la meilleure boulangerie-pâtisserie des Pays-Bas. Les produits sont bons, frais et magnifiques. Même en France c’est pas facile de trouver une belle adresse comme celle-ci. On a bien de la chance à Bussum!!

What an absolute pleasure to pop in at Maison Gourmande. Helene is hard working, yet always has a smile ready to greet you. It's plain to see that her cakes, tart and breads are made with passion. A must visit, since the proof is in the eating.

Echt Frans inclusief bestellen in het Frans en vooral lekker. Maar erg prijzig -eu7 voor mini brood? - jammer want ik was er graag vaak gekomen

Heb een aantal malen croissants en baguettes besteld op verschillende data op zaterdag, maar heb nu twee maal een bestelling gecanceld gekregen, heel vervelend omdat ik niet in Bussum woonGewoon gesloten. Vervelend ook dat alleen per email besteld kan worden in verband met taalproblemen. Winkel komt mij meer voor als hobby van eigenaar dan als zakelijk. Gr.Jan Barmentloo Producten overigens prima kwaliteit

Dit is echt alsof je een bakker in Frankrijk binnen stapt. Nederlands wordt er niet gesproken en het ruikt er goddelijk. By far mijn favoriet in Bussum en omstreken.

Excellent croissants and bread!

Heerlijk desem brood en de croissants zijn knapperig en mals en met karakteristieke boter smaak. Perfect! Het gebak wordt vanmiddag gegeten en ik verheug mij daar nu al op. Hier kom ik zeker nog heel vaak! En dat gezegd te hebben, ik ben zelf ook bakker dus ik weet waar ik het over heb..

Een klein stukje Frankrijk in Bussum, net of je even op vakantie bent :) Tarte au citron is hier favoriet

Je waant je even een paar minuten op het Franse platteland. Fantastisch brood en banket. Zo goed krijg je 't bij de meeste boulangeries in Frankrijk niet.

Wauw, een goede vriend zei al vaker hoe lekker brood deze echt Franse bakker heeft. Vanochtend ben ik voor het eerst gegaan. Het was koud buiten en de ruiten van de winkel beslagen. Dat maakt het misschien nog wel bijzonderder. Binnen zijn geeft je ook meteen het heerlijke vakantie gevoel, een echt Franse bakker met alleen Franse lekkernijen. Ook de heerlijke Franse gebakjes stralen te te gemoed. Ik gun iedereen dezelfde ervaring en genot. Een aanrader deze winkel.

Het Franse brood is heerlijk en authentiek!!! Jammer alleen dat het, vooral op zaterdag, snel uitverkocht is. Zou willen dat er wat meer werd gebakken, zeker voor de mensen die niet uit Bussum komen om hun brood te halen.

Echte Franse bakkerij met stokbrood zoals je op vakantie krijgt. Maar ook ander goed stevig brood en overheerlijke eclairs! En dat gewoon in Bussum

Heerlijk brood en Franse gebakjes!

Uitstekende kwaliteit broden, croissant, gebak en allerlei andere (Franse) lekkernijen. Met zo'n bakker in de buurt voelen wij ons enorm verwend, en smaakt het brood van andere bakkerijen toch iets minder lekker.

Heerlijke verschillende soorten gebak zoals eclairs, vanille en citroen gebak. Luchtige brioche en echt Frans stokbrood en verschillende broden. Zoals Pain cereal en pain d’ campagne!

De beste plek voor vers brood en Franse lekkernijen in Bussum! Naast verschillende versgebakken broden is de pain aux raisin ook zeker een aanrader. Wij halen hier wekelijks. Let op, zaterdag's kan er een rij staan.
