The food was disappointing (not for the price you pay). The ice cream, however, was very good and tasty! Plenty of play space for the children!

Close by to De Kempervennen for Center Parcs (no more than 20 minutes on a bike) and well worth it for the best coffee in the area and some excellent ice cream too. Good play area for kids of all sizes and a nice facility. No cost to get in or do any of the activities, but an expectation that you'll buy something. Highly recommend.

The children had a lot of fun playing there and the ice cream is delicious too! Unfortunately, I cannot give more than 5 stars.

This is the place to be for delicious homemade artisanal ice cream! We each had an ice cream sundae. Children have a great time here both indoors and outdoors, and there is plenty of room for (grand)parents outside on the large terrace or inside. But you'll be comfortable here even without children. If you don't like ice cream, you can also come here for lunch, a cup of coffee, or a beer or wine. Furthermore, the service is very friendly. They also sell fresh eggs and homemade ice cream to take home.

We came to eat an ice cream with our family. And the children had a wonderful time playing. We will definitely be back!

Very expensive and unfriendly service. 2 euros per mini scoop of ice cream, and if you want to get a glass of water for a child after an ice cream, you HAVE to order Spa Blue.

Nice restaurant...especially for sitting outside, there's a very spacious outdoor area...the selection of beers is good...and they also offer light meals...the service is okay...though it seems a bit awkward at times...probably due to a lack of experience...the ambiance is fitting for this type of location...so it's worth a visit, especially since it's also conveniently located.

Would not go back. There were people smoking on the terrace. Lots of flies around the terrace. The lunch (brie with honey 10eur) i ordered was served with a tiny honey bag by the side. They didnt even bother to spread the honey in a professional way. Also, there were twice that the staff wanted to clean up our table while our food is unfinished. Feels like that they are eager that you finish quickly and they clean up quickly, so you would order more. I had to ask:"where was my food? It wasnt finished yet." That was a bit annoying.

You can order delicious strawberry ice cream there, and it is certainly very cozy there when the weather is good.

A beautiful place in a natural setting. They have a large terrace and an extensive selection of food and drinks. They also have homemade ice cream. Additionally, there is a playground both inside and outside. There are also a considerable number of chickens.

Nice place to go with children. Downside: you can hear the road next to it quite well. Perhaps install a screen?

Super terrace. The children had a great time. The only thing is that people smoke on the terrace among the children. If that were no longer allowed, I would definitely have given this location 5 stars.

We had ordered, among other things, a homemade tuna salad sandwich and a slice of apple pie with something to drink. We received our order fairly quickly; everything was fine except for the tuna salad sandwich. There was nothing wrong with the sandwich, but the tuna salad tasted more like dry pasta than something with tuna in it. There were also very hard pieces in it that seemed inedible and that we should have put away. It was a very simple small lunch dish for over 11 euros. For that money, you expect either a larger, more elaborate sandwich or a salad or something similar on the side. When my child wanted to go to the toilet, a man at the bar stopped him to say, according to my child quite angrily, that he was not allowed in without a purchase. He had to go with him separately just to prove that we were actually eating there. Very suspicious.

The 12-hour service was meager: 4 bitterballen (meatballs), an omelet, and 1 slice of cheese. The bread was dry, and the toppings on one slice were very sparse. Furthermore, the order was taken incorrectly. We ordered a latte and received a coffee cream, so they returned it. We received the correct coffee, but had to pay an extra 30 cents by card for it.

Great for kids, a large, spacious playground with a restaurant and good service. There's also a really nice indoor playground.

Plenty of play space for children, both indoors and outdoors, great. However... we were there with our 2-year-old grandchild, and it was unbearable. They were all older children, and they were (understandably) overcrowded. Twenty of them were on one trampoline, incredibly clumsy on the go-karts. Anyway, we finally went inside. It's a great play/climbing area. If you have older children, it's perfect. Note that a draft beer costs almost €4.

A nice spot when there isn't much for the little ones to do. There are go-karts and other toys. Also two trampolines that are very popular. Inside, there is a small but fun climbing and scrambling play structure. You can look at the cows and chickens, provided they clean the windows a bit beforehand. You can have something tasty with your coffee or something nice for lunch. There is always something to eat or drink for the kids too. And of course, you shouldn't forget the incredibly delicious ice cream mmmmm.

My kid plays here alot she had all the space and toys and playground she needs to play. But I have to eat worst snacks here to stay with her:-D

We popped along to Malpie Hoeve during our trip to the Netherlands and treated ourselves to one of the multiple ice-cream selections. The food and ice-cream was amazing and reasonably priced. Activities for children including some indoor and outdoor play. I would recommend a visit. The picture below, we had already started dipping in, but it was delicious!

A charming farm with friendly staff. Children can have a great time both indoors and outdoors. Outside, there are go-karts, a playground, and trampolines. Inside, there's also a small play area for younger children. We didn't visit the animals on the farm. The food and drinks are excellent and reasonably priced.

We'd visited De Malpie Hoeve before, and we stopped back again. The lady at the ice cream counter was so friendly! It's how it should be: fantastic! The ice cream was scooped out quickly, the flavors were delicious, and the scoops aren't particularly large, but at €1.80 per scoop, the price-quality ratio is excellent. There's plenty of seating outside, and indoors if the weather's bad. There's plenty of activity for kids, both inside and out! We went back inside to buy eggs, and they gave a very clear explanation of how to lay eggs! 😉😄 The woman was a bit disappointed that I was taking pictures, with a hole in the counter... but she was refilling them... 😄 We'll definitely stop back! And for those heading towards Eindhoven, a two-minute drive towards Valkenswaard is all you need!

The ice creams are delicious! Friendly staff and a great playground. The walk through the Malpie is highly recommended with kids. It's a shame it's located on a busy road.

I found a dead fly while stirring the soup. When I reported this to the staff, we were told we were on a farm and that this did happen. Indeed, we were on a farm, enjoying the outdoors, and I had to leave a drink untouched because a small fly had gotten into it; I saw it fighting for its life. The fly in the soup, however, was much larger and came to the surface while stirring. They offered us a new portion of soup, which we were obviously not too keen on. As compensation, we were given a free scoop of ice cream. Soup was €6, and a scoop of ice cream was €1.80. We won't be going back.

Always fun with the kids or just the two of you

Top for kid friendly Basic foood with very reasonable prices but what we really enjoyed here is that they have big play area outside and indoors for kids. Indoor area was with big kids, bit noisy but outdoor was nice. Right beside the road but completely fanced, so neednt worry about kids When it comes to food, we ordered breakfast that contains 2 breads jam cheese slice and boiled egg. Everything seemed fresh nothing fancy but warm n nice. Cream cheese sandwich and soft cheese bread are some others. Also they have ice cream, again the same feel, simple, humble but nice. They also have hen farm and cow farm. Also a store where you can buy eggs etc. Overall we enjoyed it as kids had fun

The atmosphere is as it is on a farm in the Kempen. Just normal and no frills. Excellent milk, eggs, ice cream and a plate of food. Value for money, nothing more, nothing less. From the barrier in Lommel in just 10 minutes or half an hour by bike

Great stay to stay for the kids from 4 to 16 max i would say! You can drink coffe, thee or bier when your kids are having fin inside the garden garden or also outside with all the fun accessory ! No entry to pay as long as you drink or eat something ! Also really good ice cream home made

We always go there to get the eggs. There is an egg vending machine outside, where you can even buy boiled eggs. Possibility to choose between different sizes of eggs. You can even pay with your debit card or contactless. Sometimes we go to collect the eggs. We always receive very friendly help. Owner is a very friendly man, who always knows what we need. In the summer we combine the purchase of eggs with eating a delicious ice cream on the terrace. Homemade ice cream in all kinds of flavors. Always stress of choice. Ice cream tastes really delicious. We have never eaten here. But who knows, we might do that again. Because the service and friendliness here is top notch.

Dit is een echte aanrader bij Jan en francien ze hebben het allerbeste verse ijs van de melk van hun eigen koeien de lekkerste eitjes die je ter plaatse kan kopen of buiten in de automaat . Ze hebben een mooie binnenspeeltuin voor de kleine kindjes en een leuke speeltuin voor de grotere . Ze hebben super vriendelijk personeel en werken zelf ook mee . Francien maakt het ijs maar ook al de heerlijke gerechten die je kan krijgen zelf . Een echte aanrader en centerparks de kempervennen zit om de hoek . Wij zelf komen er al heel veel jaren zeker 18jaar soms als we daar op vakantie zijn maar ook heel vaak gewoon op en af naar belgie . Wat ook heel leuk is je kan de koeien ook bezoeken en kijken hoe ze gemolken worden . Hier heerst een echt familie gevoel een echte aanrader .

Fijne en leuke plaats waar je goed kan eten en de kinderen en kleinkinderen fijn kunnen spelen buiten en binnen. En wat ook leerzaam is kijken naar de koeien en kippen

We kwamen hier random een keer voorbij. Super leuke mensen werken hier. Leuk om steeds dezelfde gezichten te zien. Fijne bediening. Drankjes zijn heerlijk. Kinderen kunnen zowel binnen als buiten spelen. Er loopt een kat buiten die af en toe komt kijken en een aai komt vragen. Er zijn kippen en dus ook verse eieren voor een goede prijs. Haal ze liever hier dan in de supermarkt. Dit wordt waarschijnlijk ons vaste stekje voor na de zwemles. Vandaag voor het eerst ontbijtje gehad en dat was ook prima. Alles vers bereid en dat merk en proef je! Zeer gunstige prijs.

Ein schöner Bauernhof mit richtig vielen Spielmõglichkeiten für Kinder. Der Service war gut und wir hatten schnell unsere Bestellung. Das hausgemachte Eis ist superlecker. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es genug. Sollten wir nochmals den Centerparcs de Kempervennen besuchen,machen wir ganz bestimmt wieder einen Abstecher dorthin.
