We had to wait over 1.5 hours for our food, which was already almost cold upon receipt. We couldn't reach them by phone either. Maybe takeout is better, but delivery is a no-go.

The food was cold, it took 2 hours, and they forgot the cola. They said they would be back in 10 minutes, but I had to wait 40 minutes.

Very dissatisfied with our order. First of all, it took no less than 2 hours for the pizza to be delivered. When the pizza finally arrived, it was cold. Additionally, there was some white flour on the edge of the pizza. Two Cokes and garlic sauce were also forgotten. We were told that these would be delivered within 10 minutes, but in the end, we had to wait another 35 minutes for them. All in all, a very bad experience and certainly not what you should expect from an order.

Ordered 1 pizza at 19:18, waited until 20:37 and called. Was told it would be delivered soon. When I pointed out that this was taking a long time for a pizza, the lady said it was in the oven, which is a total lie because the pizza arrived at 21:01 and was cold. Scandalous people who treat customers like this. This one is well deserved.

Absolute scam! We waited an hour for our food. At some point, we felt compelled to call the server. She was incredibly rude on the phone. When we asked where our food was, she told us she had to wait outside our door for 20 minutes and that we couldn't be reached despite her attempts to call us. This last statement is factually incorrect, as the phone number listed didn't show any missed calls. After a long and incredibly rude back-and-forth, the bottom line was that we had to pick up our order ourselves and that we would definitely not get our money back. No apology was offered for the inconvenience. Therefore, never again! Don't be fooled, friends!

I just received some food. Found hair in the pizza, it was disgusting. Throwed everything away. Ordered food at 19:00 and received it now at 21:00. Do not order, doesn't leak, not recommended.

Had delicious meals three times today, but they didn't answer the phone so I ordered via their own website, they didn't show up, and they're not answering the phone. And now they're closed, didn't get dinner.... very disappointed, I'll just stop by tomorrow... (ordered at 20:00, still nothing at 22:10) called at least 10 times!

Had a delicious pizza and the delivery person was a bit late, but it was busy. Will order from Mama Mia again next time. My food was also very tasty and delicious and our children loved it.

I saw some less positive reviews about Mamma Mia beforehand, but I still wanted to try it myself because I was in the mood for pizza. And I absolutely did not regret it! We were served quickly by a very sweet woman and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant, partly due to the nice Italian background music. We both ordered a special shawarma pizza (€11) and it was really delicious. The experience might be different with delivery, but eating in the restaurant itself was really great for us. Definitely a positive surprise! 🍕🇮🇹

After waiting an hour and a half, still no food received. After a phone call, indicated that it is busy, but perhaps you shouldn't take orders then.

Had to wait almost 2 hours for my food, you guessed it. Everything was cold, containers of garlic were only half-filled. The kapsalon had been sitting there or on its way for so long that the fries had become soggy, and by the way, you don't even get chicken shawarma, which it is supposed to be, I have no idea, but it is really inedible. Calzone and pizza were disgusting, soggy, and I had to heat them up in the oven myself. Save yourself time and money and order your food somewhere else because what a terrible place, pffff.

Yesterday I ordered a calzone pizza and a Turkish doner pizza. The pizza wasn't even cooked through; the top was completely black. The onions were raw, the Turkish doner pizza had no flavor, all you tasted was grease, so I threw it in the trash. I also waited two hours for the food, and when I called, they said it was just in the oven. We'll never order from them again.

Order placed and paid. Delivery driver didn't show up. We were left without food.

We have used this place so many time before in the past with good service, and then in one time they screw up all those good memories. Pathetic service!!!!! They can close their doors for all I care now - placed order, not recieved after 2.5 hrs. They make themselves uncontactable as we tried calling them multiple times to understand what was going on or even find out if we can come and collect our pizza. And after 2.5hrs when they finally did arrive, they ask us not to be angry. As if they are the ones having to ensure family members are fed…idiots! Terrible place - in countries where service is a premium this place would have lost all its business long ago.

They are quite rude, if you have paid online they do not deliver and when you call you are told that you were not at home. I cannot say anything about the quality because it is not delivered anyway.

We placed an order by phone on Monday at 3:32 PM. We had already ordered twice before. Both times went very well. The owner himself came, along with a friendly young man. We gave an extra tip for this. The food is amazing. This man knows how to cook! 🥰❤️. Today, October 27, 2025, we had a somewhat disappointing experience, unfortunately. By 6:00 PM, our order hadn't arrived. We called three more times, and the delivery driver was reportedly on his way. The food was almost cold, except for the spaghetti. Upon delivery, we indicated that we wouldn't order from you again. The lady at the door said, "We won't be delivering to you again either." When we paid cash and wished her a pleasant evening, some very offensive words were exchanged, which we won't report online. The owner, however, took our complaint seriously and said that this isn't appropriate for staff; they should also be customer-friendly. He would personally address the woman about it. We received a kind of free dinner, but we're waiting for that with great anticipation. We did get some tasty sauces and a delicious tiramisu FREE with our order, thank you very much for that.

Emergency African Italian food, the staff is not friendly, they're just kids who don't want to work. I'll never come here again.

We ordered by phone and paid online. A very friendly man brought our order within 45 minutes on a weekday. The food was deliciously hot and very tasty. The chicken was buttery tender, both with the rice dish and the chicken satay dish. We definitely recommend Mamma Mia.

We were at Eiland van Hein. Delivery was no problem. Pizzas and Shoarma were still nice and hot and delicious. Friendly delivery person. Worth repeating.

I've ordered food from here many times, but last night's meal made everyone, including two young children and a pregnant woman, sick and suffered food poisoning from the chicken in their dishes. We immediately reported it to the NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority). This is unacceptable. You've lost a loyal customer because you can't even show sympathy or offer anything in return.

Tasty pizzas and friendly people who work hard. And not very expensive

Unfortunately, it's been going downhill for a while. When they started it was much better and that wasn't so long ago. too bad It's just not good.

Pizzas that have little to do with Italian craftsmanship: soft base, little or no herbs, but for a takeaway price of €8.50 that is acceptable.

Normally things are fine here, but today it was nothing to sneeze at. Order via Thuisbezorgd.nl, extra shawarma on the pizza was missing and the dishes were floating in the grease. The bag was even soaking wet from the grease that had run out of the containers. This time it was really a huge deception and simply disgusting. Only plus: It was delivered within 45 minutes.

Ordered 2x Turkish pizza with chicken, the chicken turned out to be still raw. blood pieces can still be seen... called and we received 2 new, to our surprise, mega raw chicken! I don't think that chef can cook there.

Congratulations. You sold me the worst chicken shawarma sandwich I have ever eaten. They were chicken fillet cubes (probably bought quickly at the jumbo across the street) that had been fried too long and therefore dry, with a tiny bit of herbs and a handful of old lettuce. Received 2 cups of tasteless garlic sauce. The pizza Calzone looked nice, but was tasteless.

On the website, all pizzas cost €8.50 to pick up. I'm going to pick up a pizza through the snow. Will I get the full price of 10.50? I'll ask and show it on the site. If they say yes, we won't do it anymore. So I answer: I might as well have had it delivered. If the chef says yes, you will be charged delivery costs, I say no because the website says free delivery from €10. I've gone there before, so it's a bit disappointing. I could just as well have ordered from home, it would save me fuel and time.

First time ordering here today, chicken satay menu, delicious, the chicken was well cooked as desired, fries nicely seasoned without being covered in oil, which is unfortunately often the case with other things, delicious seasoned rice on the side... Everything neatly packaged separately.. . Highly recommended! Next time again😋

Please do not delete again! Service very inadequate: the delivery lady either cannot talk or is simply not suitable for the position she currently has. Pizza is delivered cold. If there's one thing I hate, it's receiving a cold pizza and then having to heat it myself. People order a pizza to avoid these types of actions. Pizza didn't taste fresh and didn't look fresh either, which is a shame.

I really don't understand the very mediocre rating here of 2.6 stars. I have ordered from here several times now and it was always ready on time and the pizzas are delicious every time! Very satisfied and always our go-to pizzeria

Ze bezorgen altijd keurig op tijd of iets eerder zelfs, daarnaast zijn de pizza’s heerlijk.

Besteld via thuisbezorgd. Broodje (hele droge) kip zwom letterlijk in de olie. Voor n euro krijg je 1 miezerig bakje uiensaus erbij dat nog niet eens genoeg is voor de helft vh broodje. Zonder de saus was het zo droog dat ik de rest heb weggegooid. Zonde vh geld en het eten. Broodje zou ook half de prijs kunnen zijn als er niet 2x teveel kip bij lag voor t broodje. Kapsalon was beter. Hoewel bij beide gerechten de sla zó slap was, dat je je af kon vragen hoe oud het eigenlijl was. Dit heb ik beter mee gemaakt. Al met al geen succes en niet voor herhaling vatbaar helaas.

Prima pizza en snel bezorgd (op zondagavond) !! Er zijn maar weinig pizzaria's die een niet vette 4 kazen pizza kunnen maken, en dit is er één van. Top!

Tot nu toe altijd snelle pizza en goeie pasta. Meestal binnen een kwartier klaar voor afhalen en smaakt allemaal geweldig!
