A superb place; I go there every time I'm in The Hague. The fish is excellent, and the portions are generous. Lots of choices.

It's great that the sauces are included with the order, and the prices are affordable. It's also nice that you get a buzzer with your order, so you know immediately when your order is ready and don't have to stare endlessly at the counter.

The worst kibbeling I have ever eaten. The batter is way too thick, soaking into all the fat, and the fish is tasteless. And soggy fries...

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. The fries were very greasy and completely covered in oil, making them taste unpleasant. We also received no salt and no napkins. Additionally, the tables and the floor were dirty, which did not give a fresh impression. It is a shame, because you expect better. I hope that more attention is paid to the quality of the food and hygiene.

The sweet girls in the shop always help you with a smile. The kibbeling was again deliciously golden brown and perfectly cooked through, and the fries were – as always – super fresh and tasty.

I've been coming here for 4 years to get delicious Flemish fries. It's even much tastier than Bram's. At Mannekepis, there is such a wide variety of sauces to choose from. Also, the fish and chips are highly recommended!!

Very bad experience here. The food was really not tasty and not fresh at all. Additionally, the staff was unfriendly and seemed like they had no desire to help customers. The worst part was that we actually saw a rat running around the place. When we reported this, hardly anything was done about it. Truly unhygienic and completely unprofessional. I will never come back here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great fries with a huge variety of sauces, my favorite is the Manneken Pis sauce. I also tried the kibbeling, which was very fresh, not oily, and served in a really generous portion. The only downside was that the fish was a bit too heavily seasoned, making it slightly too salty. Next time, I’ll ask for it without seasoning. Worth mentioning that I always eat at the mall location downstairs.

I ate here today. The food was really good, but the service was downright disappointing. When I asked if I could order at the cash register because it was busy, the employee rolled his eyes and said, "It makes sense that you can order at the screens, right? There are three screens!!" I found that completely inappropriate, especially since there was a cash machine right by the cash register, which made it completely unreasonable. After eating, I went to the cash register to ask for a bag. An employee then literally said, "Today I'm immune to people." I was truly surprised that someone would dare say that to a customer. Eventually, I did get help, but in a disinterested manner. The food is good, but the staff's attitude ruined the whole experience. Unfortunately, because of this behavior, I no longer recommend this place, and I won't be returning myself.

Not even remotely comparable to the Manneken Pis on Dam Square. Despite the wait, it wasn't freshly baked.

What a terrible experience! I asked one of the employees if I could get the sauce on the fries separately because I wanted to take them home, and it wouldn't be any better with a cone and the sauce on top. The employee said that was possible, but I had to order separately and then provide the order number. No sooner said than done. Another colleague finished the order with the sauce on top. I then explained that I'd specifically asked for it separately. He said the receipt says "sauce on it!" I must have been wrong, I actually wanted it separately. The employee angrily threw the bag away, brought a new one with loose sauce, and the snack... I... I wanted it to take it home, but you didn't tell me that. She didn't offer any other option, and I had to take it separately in the car. I can only say that it was extremely rude, impolite, and not customer-friendly. The taste was okay, but it was overpriced for what you get. This was my first time, but this woman will definitely make sure I never order it again.

Well, the service was amateur level. The atmosphere wasn’t cozy or something, and there were like 4 tables inside. Portions are big, that’s nice and the food is okay. Burgers are not recommended, regular snacks and fries are. Drinks are good as well. The price is terrible. Paying this amount of money for this Belgian stuff is not worth any of it. I would try something else.

My daughter and I got so sick from the food on the way home that I won't go into the rest of the story. Neither of us has ever had anything like it.

What bad fries and way too much sauce, sick of the old oil, I will never come here again

The foul odor emanating from this store last Friday was unbearable. It smelled of old fish, old frying oil, or a combination of both. Ugh.

I had a fantastic meal here! It was a bit much, but the staff was very friendly and immediately packed up the rest of my order to take home. I had a wonderful experience.

Ordered 300 grams of fried cod. I couldn't eat half of it. It was more fried flour than fish. Such a shame.

We ordered fish and chips. The fries were delicious, beautifully browned, and perfectly cooked. The kibbeling (fried fish) was also perfect, not overcooked or undercooked. Got seriously ill from a simple portion of fries with mayo. Food poisoning. Reported to the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority). Also, way too expensive: €5.70 for a small portion of fries??? Never go here again. Don't do it, people!

Almost eight euros for a bag of half-baked fries. The team from last Monday afternoon at 28 needs to relearn how to fry. Cashing in quickly like this is really not fun anymore. We saw more dissatisfied people. It's a good thing we were in a hurry, otherwise I would have returned the bag. Disgraceful, we're not talking about three euros...

What a terrible, uninviting, and filthy shop this is. Nothing is good here, the staff is curt and rude, more focused on themselves and the other staff. Customers had to pay quickly and wait for their orders, which took an average of 15 minutes, with some even half an hour. While waiting for a croquette sandwich, the fries, which were already gone, kept getting colder. It was unsociable to eat like that for two. And all that for €13.

The staff is absolutely awful; they just stand around chatting amongst themselves, and if you ask a customer, it's too much trouble. Absolutely AWFUL! I regretted it by the time I had to pay.

Food is ok(food is prepared now and then) but the service is pathetic. It takes longer time to deliver and seems like short shaffed which is result of all problems.

Fries were overly salty and barely edible. The kibbeling had potential but was drowned in MSG-heavy seasoning that overwhelmed any real flavor. It felt like the staff couldn’t care less — rushed, careless, and indifferent to quality. A real shame, as the food here used to be much better.

The fries here are really great: super crispy, deliciously golden brown and always fresh. You can taste the difference with 'regular' fries right away. There is also a huge selection of sauces! The staff is usually fast and friendly, even when it is busy. And yes, it is a bit more expensive than an average snack bar, but the quality makes up for that. In short: if you fancy really good Flemish fries or fish while shopping, then you are definitely in the right place!

As a wheelchair disabled person, on Whit Monday during our 2nd visit to Mall, I had my companion pick up fries. High price, but okay, the first time I had really perfect fries with original mayonnaise, so this time I expected the same. But this time it was really disgusting, bad potatoes with pieces of skin used. I think the staff could have seen it too. Very unfortunate. Given the crowds at the place and my disability, I did not complain, but is there a guarantee for that?
