Markt 10 in Wijk 00 Centrum

A very nice location to watch the market activity and enjoy the romantic and cozy architecture of the market square. The service is friendly and quick without being pushy. We ordered an apple spritzer and a bitter lemon. The 0.2-liter bottles cost a reasonable €3 each. For lunch, we ordered a salad with chicken strips and a schnitzel with pepper sauce, French fries, and a side salad. The salad was plentiful and tasty; the price-performance ratio (around €15) is decent by today's standards. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was lacking in quality: The pepper sauce resembled a creamy "mush" and was not very flavorful. The fries, on the other hand, were pleasantly crispy and tasty. The side salad was a small snack for raw foodists... I would have liked a nicely seasoned dressing. The schnitzel itself, with its obviously deep-fried breading, tasted fine and was a good portion. A nice restaurant in a very nice location with a decent selection of food and drinks. Definitely recommended.

This was, unfortunately, the most miserable restaurant experience I can remember. The drinks were already a problem. One of the three of us received only a glass of warm milk instead of a latte macchiato. It took 10 minutes, but at least this problem was resolved. However, the food... All our orders were wrong. One of us had a carpaccio sandwich with truffle mayo. However, they had forgotten the mayonnaise. We pointed this out to the staff and asked for truffle mayo. The response: "Oh, we might have forgotten that, or they might have run out of truffle mayo. I'll check." The owner of the sandwich without mayo then waited 20 minutes for her mayo and, out of despair, ended up eating a dry sandwich. The other meals were also wrong. My crunchy chicken burger was missing the cheddar cheese and had a mysterious sauce on it that I couldn't place next to the BBQ sauce that was advertised. I gave it a try, but didn't finish it either. The last goat cheese sandwich was missing the accompanying honey mustard dressing... We didn't even bother asking about it after our initial request for truffle mayo went unanswered and we saw the orders at tables around us go wrong. All in all: I think it's best to stay away. A waste of time and money.

We had a wonderful meal in a cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We were planning to eat here today, but since the employee ignored us three times, we paid for our drinks at the counter and left. When we asked why we weren't served, she just shrugged. There were only about 10 guests in the place at the time. ☝️

It was a busy day here on a Saturday. But they were quick; food came quickly, drinks too. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, lovely staff. Everything was top-notch. Large portions were definitely worth the 5 euro tip.

I visited Markt10 today. What a terrible place! When we entered, we ordered drinks within 2 minutes but hadn't made a food choice yet. Our two specialty coffees arrived reasonably quickly. After that, we waited 35 minutes!!! for anyone to even come to the table to take our food order. Meanwhile, all the tables around us had already received their food, which I assume they had ordered at the same time as their drinks? Eventually, after that time, another table was told that their food would take another 30 minutes, even though they still hadn't ordered! As an ex-Cox&Co employee who was fired for "not good enough" work, I think this is really VERY BAD of you! Especially since I was personally told to walk to tables regularly. As it should be in every restaurant. No more Markt10 for us! (P.S. The last time I was there with someone else, we also had to ask the wait staff if we could order food. So this wasn't the first time!)

Kleiner Zwischenstopp bei unserer Roermond-Tour. Direkt am quirligen Markt haben wir einen Platz im Außenbereich gefunden. Das Lokal war gut besetzt, aber die Bedienungen hatten die Lage gut im Griff. Freundlich und schnell haben wir Essen und Getränke bekommen. Es war lecker.

Went out to eat for the first time today, nothing to complain about.

The wine was half a centimeter below your own mark. When I mentioned it, I received a haughty response and was fobbed off with a few more drops. You guys still have a lot to learn about hospitality. Of course, we left and enjoyed our drinks and a delicious meal elsewhere.

The service was terrible. The server brought me old water for my dogs. I asked her how old it was, and she just put it in front of me and gave me a dirty look. Seriously, that's unacceptable.

We waited 50 minutes, and then we were served lukewarm asparagus soup. The glass of wine supposedly had a line that they couldn't find, and it was extremely sparsely filled. After a comment, they did refill a glass with a visible line. The "uitsmijter" (fried bread roll) was excellent. The staff could definitely smile more and be a bit more friendly. After all, they work in the hospitality industry. I would go back for the food (if the soup were hot), but for the atmosphere, I'd rather choose something else.

It was very cold there. On the covered terrace, too bad.

What a disappointment... Ordered a hot chicken sandwich and a steak sandwich! This is a cheap round hamburger bun, with "some" toppings! A piece of cheese on top and grilled! I'm used to other sandwiches... Long wait, hardly anyone inside. Got in cold! Glass of wine... well, the bottom was full! One time only!

Our order for two goat salads took 35 minutes. After noticing bacon bits in our salad, we informed the waitress that we do not eat bacon due to our religious beliefs. She said a completely new salad would be prepared for us. I was counting on this. However, it turned out they had simply fished the bacon bits out; I noticed this because a piece of bacon was stuck to my goat cheese. I walked over to the staff angrily and filed a complaint. It is a shame; I used to enjoy going there, and now they have lost a customer because of their stupid actions.

The homemade tomato soup wasn't homemade. The characteristic aroma of canned tomato soup greeted me. A salt shaker had also fallen into it. When I reported it, they took it back, saying: "That's just how our tomato soup is." After 5 minutes, she told me I didn't have to pay for it. That should have been included. For me, once and never again.

Wir haben uns zum Lunch in den Wintergarten gesetzt. Uns haben die Kroketten mit Pommes und Beilagensalat und die Pastete mit Hühnerfleisch gut geschmeckt. Das 12 Uurtje am Nachbartisch sah auch gut aus. Wir mussten nicht lange auf Getränke und Speisen warten und der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisekarte bietet die typischen Mittagsgerichte der Niederlande. Bei den Getränken kann man u.a. zwischen guten Weinen und ausgefallene Bieren wählen. Wir haben uns mittags im hellen und hübsch eingerichteten Wintergarten mit Blick auf den Marktplatz sehr wohl gefühlt. Zu jeder vollen Stunde hört man das Glockenspiel vom Rathaus, insgesamt herrschte im Wintergarten eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Treppe zu den WCs in der ersten Etage ist relativ steil, dies ist in einem Altbau auch nicht anders zu erwarten.

Warm and clean, we wanted to have a snack and it started raining. So we rushed into Market 10 but we were not disappointed. Burgers were great, service was too and price not too tourists-driven.

Had lunch at Markt 10. Bread with 2 shrimp (?) croquettes. You had to look for the shrimp with a magnifying glass. The ragout was made from a bisque. Lettuce was served with it. I saw that a bottle of blue Spa should cost €6.50, which is quite exorbitant IMHO.

We went here for lunch and sat outside with a view of the main Square in Roremond. We had the Uitsmijter open (type of open sandwich with ham, cheese and fried eggs served on a slice of bread) and beer. Total bill 34 euros. The bread was not toasted so it was soggy and hard to cut. The ham and cheese were just processed slices so overall we didn't feel that it was value for money. The waitresses spoke good English and were attentive. Doubt though that we would eat here again.

leuk restaurant met overdekt terras drinken wat we besteld hadden kregen we erg snel maar toen moesten we behoorlijk lang wachten voor we wat te eten konden bestellen personeel kwam niet meer naar buiten stond binnen met elkaar te kletsen zelf moeten vragen of we nog wat mochten bestellen toen we dat gedaan hadden kregen we snel ons eten personeel was overigens verder wel erg vriendelijk en het eten smaakte goed

A very nice restaurant on the Roermond market. Tastefully decorated and equipped with a spacious covered terrace. The coffee was delicious. The employees are very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Too bad they didn't have pie. The toilets are on the 1st floor and were very clean.

There were 6 of us. Tables on the terrace for a maximum of 4. It was made clear to us by a not very friendly staff member that it was not allowed to put tables next to each other. Nice beer list and tasty pie

Met zijn tweetjes lekker gegeten. Philly cheesesteak. Super lekker met een heerlijke pittige saus en een lekkere salade. Top. Compliment voor de keuken en de bediening.

Worst restaurant I've ever been to Yesterday I was there around 4pm and have now waited about 30 minutes when I got to the line, others came and got what they wanted straight away and I had to wait even longer just because I was a foreigner from Germany. The waitress Stephanie was so rude to me and so incompetent and my table wouldn't be cleared of what other people were eating. Drunk very badly just never again no respect

We hebben hier op zich leuk geborreld. Met onze kinderen. Toen ik terugkwam van het toilet hoorde ik iemand van het personeel praten tegen een collega over “de tafel met die k**kinderen” (ik mag het echt woord niet schrijven, want dan plaatst Google het niet). Aangezien wij de enigen waren die er met kinderen zaten, ging het overduidelijk over ons. Niet netjes. Ten eerste omdat onze kinderen volgens mij niet heel raar gedaan hebben en ten tweede als dat door de jongeman wel zo ervaren was, had ons er dan even op aangesproken. Ben er met een vervelend gevoel weggegaan en baalde achteraf dat ik er niks van gezegd heb. Vandaar dat ik het zo doe.

Had a lovely lunch here today on the nicely heated terrace. Friendly service and we found the steak sandwich absolutely irresistible! Definitely worth a visit ☺️

Bad service, burger ordered, received raw, complaint was dismissed with others liking it. They would also be laughed at. Never again. I'm an absolute Holland fan but that's not possible.

Heerlijk op het terras geluncht. Erg lekkere philly cheesesteak. Snel geholpen, vriendelijke mensen. En een schoon fris toilet!

2 Cappuccino besteld met 1 appeltaartje en 1 brownie De cappuccinos werden gebracht; 1 normaal zoals ie hoort, de ander had totaal geen schuim (meer? of nooit gehad) en had een flink voetenbad... ik zei; Zo, die stond er al even, zeker? (Omdat t schuim mss door het wachten was verdwenen) "Klopt" werd er geantwoord, serveerster draaide om en liep weg. Ze kwam met een papieren servetje terug om het geknoeide te deppen onder het kopje. De appeltaart werd wel gebracht maar de brownie duurde even. Uiteindelijk was de ene koffie (zonder schuim) al op toen uiteindelijk de brownie kwam; deze was blijkbaar (naderhand?) opgewarmd en gesmolten, evenals de slagroom die er naast droop.... Met neerzetten van dat schoteltje viel er een en ander aan chocoladedruppels langs, op de tafel, op m'n broek, etc... Balen want we moesten nog de rest van de dag door de stad. Ik ben normaal gesproken geen fijnproever of zo, maar de brownie smaakte ook niet eens (waarschijnlijk door het extra opwarmen ?)... Met afrekenen gezegd dat we deze dus ook niet op de rekening wilden, daar werd gelukkig niet moeilijk over gedaan, vandaar 2 sterren ipv 1 😅

Ontzettend lekkere espresso met een glaasje koud water plus een glaasje slagroom met koffielikeur voor een zacht prijsje Correcte, snelle en vriendelijke service. Net terras. Een echte aanrader.

Ich hätte gerne fünf Stern vergeben , doch leider wr die Brokkoliesuppe zu scharf. Aber sonst hat sie sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant.

Gezellig restaurant met zicht over de markt. Een fijne kaart met voor iedereen een keuze. Parkeren in de Roermondse parjeergarages of outlet die op loopafstand ligt.

Excellent place for brunch in Roermond!

Es ist ein wirklich schönes Restaurant um lecker zu essen. Die Essen kam schnell, war sehr reichhaltig und dekorativ angerichtet. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Location ist direkt am Marktplatz im Zentrum der Stadt gelegen, optimal für einen Stopp zwischen durch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Heerlijk warm terras achter glas. ( als het regent) prima plek voor koffie met gebak. En uitzicht op het plein.

Markt 10 ligt op een mooie plek in Roermond het is er gezellig wordt goed bediend en ligt op een mooi plein

Selten einen so leckeren Salat gegessen. Wenn wir nochmal in Roermond sind kommen wir wieder!

Leuke en gezellige plek om neer te stijken, als je in Roermond bent. We zaten in de serre met uitzicht op de markt. Lekker warm met heaters. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijk en rijk gevulde lunch. Lekker biertje van de tap. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Kortom aanrader.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Auch im Winter sitzt man in dem dann ganz geschlossenen und beheizten Wintergarten, im Sommer nur überdacht, sehr warm in tollem Ambiente. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Heerlijk gegeten, goede prijzen, vriendelijk personeel. We ontzettend druk. Wij hadden geluk dat er nog plek was. Buiten lekker verwarmd terras, niet te warm, niet te koud. Bij de koffie en thee kreeg je een lekker liqeurtje en een koekje. Let op! Bent u niet zo mobiel, dan kunt u hier niet naar het toilet. Om bij de toiletten te komen moet u 2 trappen op.

Goed gegeten maar geen hoogvlieger.

Geen aanrader, de tafels wiebelen ten eerste wat irritant is waardoor je continu je arm of voet tegen moet duwen. Wat niet fijn eten is. Drinken kregen we snel maar de bestelling van het eten werd maar niet opgenomen terwijl hij al paar keer had gekeken, de beste man dacht dat het drinken van de vorige waren want er was niks aangeslagen op de tafel. Toen bestelling werd opgenomen, werden we niet netjes aangesproken vonden wij, wat niet een gastvrij gevoel geeft. Het eten was prima. Nadat ik mijn gerecht op had werd er pas gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Geen aanrader, hopelijk leren ze van de fouten want dit is gewoon slordig.

Gezellig, lekker warm afgesloten terras met glazen deuren. Snelle en leuke bediening.
