super cold place with no care at all.. some record sales man make the best out of it but is a no go for small markets, i guess for big events should be a nice place

It was very, very crowded and accordingly loud. Plenty to try. We decided on ramen (Japanese soup) because it wasn't very busy. Besides, I was in Japan at the time and wanted to show my companion what it tasted like. Both soups were "nice" in terms of taste, but the worst came the next day. I was vomiting all day and had diarrhea. It could only have been the soup. Fortunately, my companion didn't have these problems.

A very large market. They have (almost) everything. A very large hall for street food and drinks. However, it's often very crowded, and it's hard to find a seat. The selection is very extensive and international. It's worth a visit.

It's nice that you can easily get there by train. But sound quality in big hall is really annoying. It echoes. The prices of the food are also a bit too expensive for what you get.

I absolutely love this place it is so cool and random. The people are always super stylish and friendly and very easy to bond with. The music is always amazing too. Overall one of my fav places in amsterdam.

Picked up by train at the entrance. Then taken to where the food & entertainment was. Very nicely decorated and fast delivery. And there for about 100 meals. Three courses and this time chef from Burma. Cooked and presented together with volunteers. Very good atmosphere and nice music. Looks very nice. And a small fee is charged for a very nice outing for everyone. From small to large. Alternative - neighborhood event - for everyone - food & entertainment.

Really cool place to attend a variety of different types of events.

Great place to go when events are on. Varied activities and almost like an alternative carnival vibe. The stage and sound is good, although only downside is waiting for the golf cart from the gates to the entrance. Can take a while sometimes.

This is the place u want to go if you like a more alternative vibe! You can’t find much places like these anymore in Amsterdam, a true gem

January 20 we went to Markt Kabaal, the Abba Evening. Great!! what a nice, Cheerful atmosphere. Singing, dancing, and a great performance.

Eating with the whole neighborhood at a special location.

It was a Da Bounce evening with various components.

We visited the Kabaal Christmas market and had a great time. The location is cool, definitely worth a visit.

Winter fair. Great music, good food and good vibe. To be repeated.

Hartstikke leuk, lekker en vrolijk makend!

Very particular, huge and nice location inside the Amsterdam central market . I have been here for a Brazilian night, I had a nice dish and some drinks . In front of the market entrance you will find a red "train" that will bring you inside the place . I definitely recommend to visit this place, in a location like that the organized events will be all super nice !

Echt superleuk om een keer te doen. Goede sfeer en een smakelijk drie-gangen menu met muzikale omlijsting! Prima middag zo. Treintje was ook heel grappig!

Een unieke belevenis. Live-muziek, heerlijk eten en geweldige bediening. Allemaal vrijwilligers, die met plezier hun werk doen. Een glaasje wijn ( € 4.00 ) zou iets goedkoper mogen

Prachtige wedstrijden gezien van absolute top niveau! Wat is Padeltennis een geweldige sport.

World padel tour bezocht. Top evenement. Wel jammer dat je voor de toiletten helemaal naar buiten moest.

Underground, 1 van de leukste plekken in Amsterdam om te bezoeken op het moment!

Bijzondere en mooie plek om te eten. Het eten is heerlijk, goed op smaak en met liefde bereid. Dat proef je. Zeer gevarieerd

One of the most special bar/pub/restaurant/everything i’ve ever been. I feel lucky having this few steps from my studio and as a place of encounter with other makers. The concept and vibes of this place are just great. Love it! Long live Markt Centraal!

Mooi architectonisch gebouw de voormalige markthal. Heerlijk gegeten, goede sfeer, lekker muziek. Alles voor een gezellige middag/avond!

Train ride was fun but club was bad

Zo ontzettend leuk georganiseerd, met treintje naar het gebouw waar heerlijk gegeten en gedronken wordt, met muzikale omlijsting 👌🏼

"Marktmaal" is a great concept. Local "Amsterdammers" from different cultural background are cooking a "meal of the day" including a dessert for tens of people. All of them are volunteers. You can order tickets online, depending on your income/what you can afford. You have to be there in time to get on the "train" to bring you to the Central Hal for your meal. Low key, multicultural, live music and open to people from all different backgrounds, get a spot and enjoy. A great and unique experience, suitable for children as well.

Very cozy and cool spot! Had the pleasure to see Gallowstreet Jazz band here for the first event since its recent renovation. Very spacious and festive, had tons of fun! I look forward to enjoying food trucks and markets here in the future!
