I am hereby retracting my previously written post. I received an explanation from the shop as to why things went wrong. I received a meal that was fine! Great solution, thank you!!

Order placed and paid Paid for extra garlic sauce but it wasn't included in the order, called and they said they would bring it later. After 45 minutes I just gave up Bad service!!!!!

I've ordered several times now, but it's gone wrong twice. The first time, the wrong sauce, which I could overlook. The second time, I ordered hot spareribs and got plain ones and cold fries. Then you call to explain it, and they say, "Well, then they probably didn't read the order properly!" Yeah right!! Not my problem! My problem is that once again I'm not getting what I ordered. Response from Marmara: "Sorry and have a nice evening." Well, you've lost me as a customer, and no, no apology from me!

My food was there literally within 8 minutes! Warm, fresh, and tasty. Delivered by a friendly delivery person! And I think the prices are very reasonable!

The food arrives half an hour late.

Ordered from this place a few times, but unfortunately, they quite often forget to deliver cans of soft drinks that were ordered and paid for. Unreachable by phone. So, with this, they have lost a customer.

Fast and accurate delivery with delicious hot food. Shawarma was delicious, and the spare ribs were even better with a good salad. Second time ordering here, but I'll probably do it more often if I have to spend the night in the truck at the Dow. Deserves a solid 5 stars.

The food was cold, but the way I was treated afterward was incredibly rude. As if it was my fault it wasn't prepared properly. A truly unpleasant experience. Absolutely not recommended!!

We had some delicious SP Ribs delivered to our home again tonight.

Ordered food, but two kapsalons were missing, so we called. They said they would fix it. After half an hour, they returned with two kapsalons. One kapsalon arrived that hadn't been ordered. I had one shawarma and one kebab, and we received two shawarmas. Too bad again...

I've been waiting for 2 hours for my fries with a frikandel, which is not at all difficult to make.

After a long time back in Terneuzen and yes we were looking forward to a mixed dish but marmara has deteriorated, say the dishes have been reduced by more or half and the price has increased by half the sparribs were tough the salad had a special taste I also ordered 3 pitta ham cheese and what do you get a pitta cheese with a mess of lettuce in between since when has there been lettuce between a pitta cheese sorry marmara was quite a place I liked to order or come to but there is now an end to that

Wonderful place. The food is very tasty and warm when picked up in person. Really well seasoned and prepared. No side effects and great taste. The atmosphere of the place to eat on site is outstanding. Great service, I highly recommend it. 10/10

THE BEST KAPSALON IN TERNEUZEN! So tasty and always ready in short time. Also the staff is very friendly. I used to order from many different restaurants here but since I tried this capsalone I only go to Marmara 😁

Disappointment with the satay sandwich. Stands among the other sandwiches so you expect something decent. You get a mini pita with two chopsticks. Yes, that's of no use to you, luckily it was tasty. And they have 0 vegetarian dishes

Marmara's name doesn't sound that wonderful. Well, neither is the food. Half fried meat is what they serve. Delivery person whines for tips just like their Amigo neighbors. 2 filthy tents next to each other. Didn't see me.

Placed an order via home delivery yesterday. The order was only delivered after 1.5 hours. It is not the first time that we have ordered something here and had to wait a long time. I understand that you sometimes have to wait a little longer, but I think 1.5 hours is too much. The food is tasty, but that is the only positive thing I can write about it. Such a shame that you don't do anything with the feedback. It appears to be a known problem that delivery times are very long.

After a walk we decided to have dinner here, the restaurant is nice and clean. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Its also take away so its pretty busy but not crowdy to have the food in the restaurant. Its simple food but done like it should be and portions are big. We took the shoarma for 2 persons, delicicous and more than enough to choose and eat. And a nice surprise when you get the bill.. very cheap for what you get. Conclusion.. very good for a fast dinner.. dont expect fancy things, just food and enjoy it.

After ordering by telephone, the wrong order is delivered. We do not get two hair salons as ordered, but one hair salon and a much more expensive dish. The ordered sauces were also not included. We ordered samurai and Andalusia Andalusia but got garlic twice. After further telephone contact, the proposed solution was to leave half of the meat so that the delivery person could pick it up and reimburse a few euros. Totally inadequate, of course. The right solution would be to deliver what was ordered. We will never order from here again. Big minus!

Friendly service and delicious pizzas

Nadat we diverse malen met kinderen en kleinkinderen bij Marmara tot tevredenheid hebben gegeten,hebben we nu i.v.m. met corona,laten bezorgen en dat was een fiasco! Er zaten 4 gerechten bij waarvan we er maar 1 hadden besteld en 2 gerechten die we wel besteld hadden zaten er niet bij. Deze werden wel nabezorgd maar toen waren we bijna een uur verder en was één van de twee gerechten wéér niet het goede! We hebben dus niet gezamenlijk kunnen eten en bovendien waren de gerechten op zijn best lauwwarm Verder was er weinig bereidheid om dit op een bevredigende manier op te lossen.Erg jammer na onze zeer positieve ervaring in het restaurant zelf waarvan de recensie helemaal bovenaan staat in deze lijst. Denk dat deze iets lager komt!

This is the 4th time in a row that the order has been delivered an hour late. This time I put it in the comments and asked if it could please be done on time. And too late again. At that hour I would call about 3 times to ask where it was and every time it would already be on its way. Still, it's great that it just arrives warm. The food is tasty but the service is nasty. From now on I will go to the tollebol, a few euros more expensive but tastier and never any hassle.

If you place an order after waiting more than an hour, you call to ask about your order and the phone is simply hung up without mercy

Don't let the front fool you, this is a great restaurant, friendly and fast and smart staff, everything is possible, and well prepared with attention to detail. Easily could raise prices by 100%.

Ordered and paid for a pizza online tonight. No sooner said than done... unfortunately I called an hour after ordering to see where they were staying, the car was broken, they will come later... after an hour and a half they called again and they said they would be there shortly, luckily they were there. then in 5 min. Fortunately, the pizza was warm, but we did miss the Bolognese sauce that was so important to us whatever we paid for. We would rather eat at your place than order online, this doesn't really work!!

Marmara, or as in our family “that Turk” is a tradition that has been going on for 14 years. I'm a “pizza” tourist and the pescatory pizza is one of the best you will find. good atmosphere and friendly people. Always recommended. Here I will come again and again - have been doing it for 14 years!

What a deeply, deeply, deeply sad, terrible place. Placed an order online at 5:20 PM and called around 6:40 PM to see if my order had still arrived. Unkind, curt, worthless employee on the phone who casually says yes, your receipt is here, but there are still 50. When asked, can you not just call and say that it will be late, then I will have to call at least 50. 0 apologies, indignation and ultimately only getting your food at 7.40pm, more than two hours later. I knew that Terneuzen was lagging behind and that it was a terrible village, but I couldn't believe that these kinds of ridiculous places still exist while they treat customers in a worthless way and charge very expensive prices for often lukewarm products. Never order from them again and advise everyone to do the same!!

On Tuesday evening (not really a very busy evening) we waited almost 2 hours for a very simple order. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere because the waiting time was so long last time. They clearly don't have it under control at Marmara.

Lots of food for no crazy amounts of money, *tip* order the 4-kinds-of-meat-dish-for-4-persons with 4 people. (60 euros) You certainly won't be short of that with 4 big eaters.

Had a super tasty meal yesterday with his 3rd, especially the spare ribs were very tasty and the size of the portions were very generous, which is also important. And the nice thing was that I was so focused on the food that I left my phone on the table and the next day I called the owner to say that he had found my phone. Great.
