McDonald's in Wijk 04

It's McDonald's, so you know what you're getting. The staff just really needs training in taking orders at the Drive-Thru. There are two kiosks, and the left kiosk consistently waits much longer than the right because there's no logical order (order taking, order paying, etc.). It gets very congested in the Drive-Thru very quickly. Also, the parking lot usually isn't very welcoming in the evenings, but of course, there's not much the owner can do about that. Oh, and please remove those three curbs that are supposed to be speed bumps! I understand you want to slow down, but this is ruining my suspension even when I drive over it at almost a standstill!

The cola cup wasn't clean, but thanks to the friendly staff, we received a new one. It was also very cold inside, and not every table and chair was clean. Otherwise, the food was excellent.

Bunch of amateurs. Fast food... and just waiting...

People under the influence are walking around here begging, and there's absolutely no security. McDonald's should do something about that.

I ordered a burger and asked for no onions, but when I took a bite, they were there. I'm allergic to them. When I went up and asked for a change, I waited in line for a long time for a replacement....just terrible service!!!! There was no apology. While I was waiting, half of the employees just stood there and joked among themselves.

Had to wait 15 minutes for two cheeseburgers. And they were still cold. The staff walk so slowly they're practically walking backwards. What terrible service. The drive-thru staff are very disinterested and rude. Keep it up, McD.

It was very cold inside, but the food was nice and hot. Staff sometimes have to search for tables when ordering through myOrder.

The big tasty was cold and just thrown on the bun. The French fries were also cold. Bad experience with this McDonald's. I've had better McDonald's.

After visiting Amphion, I ate here. It's a spacious and well-organized McDonald's with plenty of seating. The Big Mac was exactly how I like it. The burgers were cooked perfectly, and the added lettuce, pickles, and cheese enhanced the flavor. The staff are friendly, and the burger I ordered was delivered quickly. The best McDonald's I know!

Very clean, and very fast service despite the high traffic. Classic value of the food

I was there this afternoon. First, they took the order incorrectly, okay, that can happen due to language barriers. Then they served lukewarm fries. I complained about this, and they brought me new, again lukewarm, fries with the rest of my order. It's really disappointing, even though they included a free 9-pack of chicken as an apology for the initial complaint. The cleanliness of the restaurant floor also left much to be desired.

Employees just messing around with each other. Waited 45 minutes for 9 chicken nuggets. Wrong order... ordered a cheeseburger WITHOUT cheese and then delivered WITH cheese. No attention to the customers.

The mack has become really expensive

Very disappointing experience for Modelo at this McDonald’s. He paid €0.85 for mayonnaise, and they simply forgot it. €0.85 × 1 = €0.85 wasted. Then, his 9-piece Chicken McNuggets came with only 8. That is 1/9 missing, or approximately 11% of the order not delivered. If you charge for 9 pieces and deliver only 8, you are providing 88.9% of the expected product. This is not about small amounts of money it is about accuracy, reliability, and respect for the customer. In Germany, we expect things to be correct and in order. This McDonald’s failed completely. I request a refund of €0.85 for the missing mayonnaise and the proportional cost of the missing nugget. Careless, sloppy, and frankly, shameful.

It was quite busy, but the order didn't take long, and this was our first McDonald's ever where the fries were still hot! Delicious.

Had to wait a long time despite it being busy. The food was cold and some items I ordered were missing. The staff spoke poor Dutch and barely understood me. Poor service—a waste of time and money. Can McDonald's Netherlands take action against this chain?

It was relatively quiet, midday on a weekday. Friendly service, and the missing fries were quickly brought to the table. Clean, open, and well-maintained restrooms. A great McDonald's.

Everything was perfect the stuff was nice until I park to consume my order my car got surrounded by rats first it was only one and then suddenly 3 to 4 showed up I got disgusted by all of this I try to scare them but they keep coming so I do not suggest coming to this McDonald’s or mcdrive until they keep the rats out.

It takes a long time to get your food. You're always just directed to the parking lot, even if you order two McFlurries. The food is fine, but poorly prepared. Furthermore, some employees don't even speak Dutch or English. Ridiculous. It's also getting really expensive. February 17, 2025: Unfortunately, I'm hearing and experiencing increasingly worse service. Management, but mainly staff, don't seem to enjoy their work, and it really shows, except for a few! Unfortunately, Dekkers prioritizes quick and easy service over good service. As mentioned above, it's still one of the slower McDonald's in the area. You're always directed if you come through the drive-through. If you eat inside, it's still reasonable, but the restaurant itself isn't clean or tidy. It's a real shame, as I used to love McDonald's Doetinchem. 25/10/2025: Apparently, several new managers have been assigned to Doetinchem. Since this change, the drive-thru service and the ordering process have become much faster. Therefore, the service rating has been changed from 1 to 3 stars.

Well, McDonald's is always disappointing. The ice cream was too cold, yes, really! Bizarre, right? And those prices are completely out of whack.

Fries were soggy and burgers were cold

After all the stories, we went to McDonald's in Doetinchem around 5:00 PM today. We both ordered a McArc burger from a menu. Both came with fries and a Coke Zero and a Fanta Zero. Reservation number 16, if you want to watch it back. We were treated to a classic McDonald's menu. Lukewarm Arc and lukewarm fries, just like we used to remember. A bit of a shame, because the Arc tasted pretty good, but probably even better warmed up. Just like the fries: the top was cold, and the further you skewered it, the warmer it got. The soda, on the other hand, tasted fine, but I would have thought it rather clever if they had managed to screw that up themselves. So, for now, McDonald's is on hold for another year.

It took a while for the order to arrive, but the service was friendly

Waited almost half an hour, there was no ice in the cola, and no napkins with my order. Ate Big Arch, which wasn't particularly special.

Well, almost only young people work here, that's fine

Don't go here at night because the evening managers have zero authority and can't control the situation. Four large groups of young people loitering in the parking lot and even on their own patio, all blasting their own music. Some are literally trashing the place, banging on the doors and windows of the restaurant. And no manager speaks to them. Which is understandable, because they don't hear a thing. Even from the McDonald's kitchen, they're blasting hardcore at 100 volume. Mistakes are constantly being made (I don't think any employee can even concentrate in such an atmosphere). My order was given to the car in front of me, and the employee had no idea how to fix it. I stood by the window for 10 minutes, looking at the employee quizzically, "What now?" Then something finally happened that brought her out of her isolated world and asked me to wait in one of the waiting areas, where I waited for another 20 minutes. It was quiet, there were four cars in total that needed help, and it ultimately took me 45 minutes to buy one cold medium fries and two cold cheeseburgers. The situation was so bizarre that I doubt anyone working at the time was sober.

The staff could be a bit friendlier. And they could wipe down the benches and tables more often. There's very little for kids, which is a real shame. It's more like "eat and go."

Not a single order here is properly cooked! They're always careful and checking, unfortunately, whether your burger has any sauce...

Why isn't this McDonald's closed or replaced by a better fast-food chain? Everything is lukewarm, too little, way too expensive, tasteless, and half-portions that you have to wait at least 30 minutes or much longer for. And all this in a dirty, noisy environment. It's remarkable that customers still come here.

We quickly grabbed a Maccie today, and after over an hour of waiting, we finally got our food. But the kitchen's scheduling wasn't working properly; the burgers and nuggets were already cold before they reached our table. We left it at that, as otherwise we'd probably have to wait even longer. Feedback for the manager: if it's too busy, temporarily stop taking orders and make it clear to people that it will take longer than usual.

The food here is truly awful; I'd rather go all the way to the Jumbo in Ijmuiden. The staff often can't even get an order right. I'll never go back.

Fast and friendly service. The food was good and hot. One point deducted for the ambiance, as some tables and floors weren't clean. More attention should be paid to this.

Beautiful space, open and clear

There was no toilet paper in the restrooms, and they weren't particularly clean either. We had to wait quite a while for our food.

At the drive-through, a cheerful person told us the burgers were €1 today, so we ordered four. At the window, a grumpy woman helped us, who told us that wasn't true at all and that our order cost €7.95. That was a bit odd, of course. After that, we just left because the atmosphere wasn't exactly pleasant.

Its not my favorite mac .service can be good one day and bad the next

We'd been waiting for our food for a while. After a while, we went to inquire where it was. It looked like the order was missing. They took the receipt, and after 20 minutes, nothing. We went back to inquire again. After waiting 55 minutes, the food finally arrived, and it was still missing a few things. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very warm either.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It takes ages for the order to arrive. Then, only half the order is delivered. Plus, they've never heard of any kind of service or customer focus. Dirty restrooms, dirty floors, dirty tables—I'm not coming back.

There are rats running around the trash cans outside. It's really gross. So, open trash cans are a bad idea.

Unbelievable mess in the parking lot early in the morning.

I was here recently but unfortunately I had the feeling that there was a mouse tail in my mac chicken honey mustard. And checked and it turned out to really be a mouse, highly not recommended.

This McDonald's is the worst... stingy and small portions compared to the McDonald's in Voorthuizen/Barneveld... service is also terrible, either they don't understand you or you don't understand them... half a container of MacFluffy and extra M&Ms instead of sauce isn't allowed here either, but they do charge €4 for half a container... and besides, they always forget something or your food is cold, but you get napkins for the whole year because they forget it the other times... Your burger is often like the TikTok videos. Besides, you can get a better deal at Burger King these days and you'll be full all night... Sad situation.

It is like many Mac.Donald restaurants usually a nice place for a quick bite. This restaurant gets 4 stars from me because one of the employees was not customer friendly, a bit grumpy and the burger in my box had some spicy herbs for another burger probably. I choose a non spicy burger and the fire shoots out of my ears.

Yesterday I waited 42 minutes for 20 chicken nuggets… never in my life seen such a chaotic mc donalds… a deafening sound of beeping machines that are not answered… and only children to be found in the kitchen I really advise against stopping here to make matters worse the coffee machine had a message that none of these children knew what to do with…

Seriously though, the difference between 9 and 6 should be doable for everyone...

I always ask for "without sauce" and yet there is ALWAYS sauce on it. Even after a complaint form it would be discussed internally. Very often still sauce and I can walk back. In addition, I always order vegetarian. It has also happened often that it is really meat and I have to go back.

Service is pathetic because 9 out of 10 times the order is wrong. Customer focus is hard to find at this branch. Lack of leadership is the issue here because if you ask for a manager, he does not come forward and you get someone who does not know what he is talking about. We will never come here again because I prefer to drive to Zutphen, Duiven or Winterswijk because they give you the feeling that a guest is really a guest. The best thing they can do here is to retrain almost all managers or put new managers in charge because this branch is only going downhill

There seems to be a national trend taking hold in fast food land: serve your customers the smallest possible portion of fries for the grand prize, throw in some unimaginative junk, and hope that no one complains because it's 'McDonald's'. Well... here we are. Location: McDonald's Doetinchem. Situated at a strategic point where you either eat this or go hungry. We chose option one, with regret in every bite. The Big Mac was a true work of art—but one made by a toddler in a hurry. The buns were crooked, the meat was parked at an angle, and the sauce was leaking out as if someone had accidentally sat on it. The onions? Missing in action. Missing. Gone. Probably at a better party. The fries? Oh yes, the fries. Drier than your accountant's sense of humor and comparable in quantity to a sample of a new diet concept: "Fries? No way, just look and move on." And then you pay serious money for it. No gold, no sparkling presentation, no warm smile. Just a meal that looks like it was beaten up with a tennis racket. So, dear McDonald’s Doetinchem: thank you for this life lesson. Next time we’ll skip it, unless we suddenly feel like disillusioning with a straw.

Just bought two ice cream cones at mc. Donald. The day before yesterday €1.95 now €2.95 per ice cream of course !!!!!!!!! price increase of 1 euro because the cones would have become more expensive!!!! Returned the ice cream and got money back. Manager is also not happy with this very large price increase. Off to Jolink

McDonald's in Doetinchem was really full when I visited - but the team still worked quickly and friendly! 🍟🍔 The order went through the terminals quickly and the food was fresh and delicious. Despite the crowds, everything was clean and well organized. Seating was a bit tight, but understandable given how busy it was. Overall, a solid McDonald’s location with the usual taste and good service! 👍

Today we had dinner with the family of 5 people. 3 of them are now seriously ill and are vomiting all over them. The youngest isn't allowed to do that stuff anyway, so he's okay. And my luck is that I get to clean it up. Don't go there again
