McDonald's in Wijk 05 Echt

You won't believe this, they don't get the difference between a hamburger and a Mc Croquette, the staff is way too young and 9 out of 10 times everything is cold. I hate it when your order is wrong or served cold. Just cook those burgers a bit longer, it's not that difficult..

Ordered a McNugget menu twice, only to find out upon arriving home that there were no chicken nuggets... unfortunately, it is just too far to drive back for it.

The people are not friendly. I stood waiting while I was the only one, and they let two people through in front of me even though they arrived late. I drove away. I will NEVER go there again.

Time and time again, I let myself be tempted by friends to go along. Always an argument because the food is always cold, the order is never right, etc., etc. In one word: scandalous, and that for such an exorbitant amount of money.

We haven't been very satisfied with the service lately. When you go through the drive-in, you get ridiculed with stupid jokes. Once, they made us stand at the ordering station for half an hour while letting others through at the second station. Yesterday, I was ridiculed for the way I pronounced my order, and that is already the fourth time, which made me angry so I walked inside to speak to the manager. There, I was intimidated again by two of those nasty guys when I was telling my story to the manager. Those two stood against the wall with their hands crossed, listening to my story and laughing at me, and the manager didn't say anything about it, instead of sending those two away. It was a mess there. I used to be satisfied and always liked the staff, but lately it has really been a mess and the staff is unfriendly. It's a shame for the rest of the staff who have been working there longer and who always did a good job.

I go to quite a lot of McDonald's, and I always find the service particularly friendly compared to other McDonald's.

I thought I'd grab a quick bite on the way to Eindhoven, but when I arrived down from the A2, it turned out the on-ramp was closed, and I had to drive mostly on back roads to get back onto the A2. So it turned out to be 'slow food' after all.

What a great McDonald’s! Inside, everything is neat and clean, without any mess. The exterior is also well-maintained; there are no packaging or cups to be found anywhere in the vicinity. The flags are neatly hung and the drive-thru looks excellent. What stands out most (and should actually be a given) is that the staff greets you in a friendly manner. My order was ready quickly, was nice and hot, and neatly put together. I don't know what training the staff receives here, but other branches could certainly take a leaf out of their book. Truly top-notch!

Mixed experiences. The quality of the food, if you get the right one, is excellent. Unfortunately, there are often many minor errors, such as unsolicited sugar/syrup in the coffee, toilets frequently run out of toilet paper, products are frequently out of stock, you have to wait 15 minutes for a cookie to take it home, and the staff, when taking the order, seem reluctant to work with a hangover. It's a shame, not recommended. One plus for animal lovers: dogs are allowed inside.

It's still a McDonald's, but one of the finer ones. Not everything is just thrown into one container, but well-maintained.

Not recommended, extremely dirty tables and under the tables. They sell items you didn't ask for, and then you have to pay extra. And then the customer gets the blame. I won't be going to this McDonald's again.

It's outrageous that 9 out of 10 times you can't order coffee or tea. And even if they do make coffee, it tastes awful. A huge step backward from the service McDonald's used to have. It's a shame.

It's very pleasant to eat there. It's so clean and organized!!! Plenty of staff can work wonders with the food. Tables, chairs, and benches were cleared, and in between, they were also swept with a mop and kept a clean surface. It was very busy, yet pleasant.

Everyone is familiar with McDonald's. The service is actually very good, and you get your food very quickly here, even when it's busy. The food is usually still hot when it arrives, which isn't the case at many McDonald's. The only downside here is that the place is sometimes poorly maintained, and the floors and tables you have to eat from are very dirty. Otherwise, it's just like any other McDonald's, nothing special, and it's getting a bit pricey for what you get! But if you're really hungry, you won't be disappointed in Echt!

Had to wait a long time for my order at the drive-through. While driving, I also discovered that some products and sauces were missing. I went back to the drive-through, and the employee promptly resolved the issue.

The staff is really poorly trained and I don't think they're being supervised or held accountable for their behavior in any way. That's terrible.

I was in the mood for McDonald's. I arrived at 12:59 AM. The website said it was open until 1:00 AM. Very disappointed. Too bad!

I ordered takeout and when I got home, I found out I'd been scammed. I wasn't given 9x nuggets or 6x nuggets. I recommend checking your orders because they're scamming you.

WORTHLESS customer experience. I had to pay for my order twice because "the system said the payment hadn't gone through." I could show that the amount had been debited, but the protocol wouldn't allow me to take the order. The second payment was supposed to be "automatically refunded within 48 hours." But alas. Almost a week has passed and I still haven't seen a cent back. It was €51.90. The complaints line is unreachable, and I haven't received a call back about the note the receptionist left. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!! And because of all the delays, the food was cold and unpalatable, so most of it ended up in the trash. They won't see me again.

Every McDonald's is different, as is evident. This time, everything was hot and freshly prepared. Despite it being dinnertime, there was plenty of room. The only downside is the prices.

It was very strange that I couldn't get a side salad (they were supposedly sold out) and only fries. And yet my wife could choose from various salads with chicken and such. The trash can was overflowing. An employee was very kind and patient with the children who wanted to buy an extra toy.

The food was cold, tough, and simply tasteless. From ordering to pick-up, it took a full 8 minutes, and that proved to be a success. The staff were friendly, but the restaurant, restrooms, and seating were awful. The atmosphere was like a formal business meeting. This McDonald's has really gone downhill in recent years, which is a shame.

Ate here with a colleague on October 8th, what a drama, order for 2 people, 3 mistakes, why, no idea, receipt, there are enough staff, but unfortunately, the fries were cold, 2x mayonnaise forgotten, fries seasoning forgotten, 2x strawberry milkshake, unfortunately, got vanilla flavor, maybe it would be useful if you have to pay 51 euros to add some napkins. We often go to MC, but this location beats everything.

In short: McDonald's Echt combines the renowned taste and quality with cleanliness, friendliness, and extra services like EV charging. Highly recommended for those on the go, but also for a fun and carefree time with the family.

They offer different coffee and at the end they serve the same, the difference in taste is nothing and they do not Mark the coffee for knowing which is which

The food and service at this chain are standard, as expected. What's really not good is the "atmosphere" of the trash cans in the nearby parking lot near Gamna. Overflowing trash cans with finished McDonald's meals are scattered on the ground and around the bins. Every time I visit this parking lot, it's the same disgusting refrain: McDonald's, please do something about this!!!

We just wanted to say that Rochandy is the best employee ever! Our MC Drive experience immediately became much more enjoyable with this cheerful young man. Someone who enjoys his work, keep him!

We stopped by to charge our car at the charging station close to McD. It was clean, tidy, easy to order and the burgers were good. Also had the salad. Overall good experience. No complaints!

Last Saturday evening, on my way home, I stopped here for an iced caramel coffee frappé and soft serve. The staff was friendly and the portions were decent. I'm not usually a fan of McDonald's, but this was worth it and just what we needed on our long journey. The restrooms and water fountains needed attention. One fountain was out of order.

Just got two burgers and a coffee/caramel frappe at the confirmation in Echt. The burgers were fine, but I think they forgot to crush the ice with the frappe; the whole cup is full of ice cubes. It's a shame, but it ended up in the trash.

Very busy at 6pm and the food is not good

Good day If you order a Big Mac menu, everything is cold. It seems like very young children are working there. No one looks experienced enough. It costs a lot of money.

A week ago, after a family outing, we went to dinner with 12 people. We had to wait 45 minutes for our order. Our order was incomplete. We returned three times with the wrong menu. The food was cold. The staff was completely disorganized. I don't think having 4.5 people working on an order can go well. They tried to fix it, but they couldn't. It really put a dampener on our family outing.

Did you get a lukewarm milkshake with your Big Mac because the machine got too hot? If it wasn't cold enough, we could exchange it for a soft drink or MacFlurry. I don't think you should EVER serve ice cream if the machine isn't working properly? Good for food poisoning.

For the second time in a week, I was stuck in the drive-through, only to be told it was cash only. Poor service, zero communication. This is the last time I'll be back.

Got there 40 minutes before it was supposed to before closing, but they closed early.

Perhaps there's a staff shortage, but I've never seen such a filthy mess. All the trash cans are overflowing, there's no toilet paper in the restroom, and the faucet is broken.

Great McDonald's, exactly what you'd expect if you're familiar with the concept. Spacious patio. Of course, there's the occasional joker smoking among all the kids, but the manager handles that quickly and efficiently. Fast service.

The Big Tasty and Quarter Pounder were delivered incorrectly, and all the soft drinks had ice even though they weren't. The fries were cold. When I got back, the other burgers were also cold. The service was okay, but it's a shame they were working too quickly. Next time, I'll grab a McDonald's earlier on the highway.

I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic 🧐 about a McDonald's that I'd write a review. Perhaps the contrast with the Randstad locations is simply enormous. Because this is what really struck me positively about McDonald's Echt (pun intended): 🧻 ABOVE-AVERAGE CLEAN (for a McDonald's) Not that it literally sparkles, but when I was there (Wednesday evening around 8 p.m.), it was remarkably clean. I haven't encountered them this clean in Rotterdam or Amsterdam. Even the restroom (which I visited) was spacious and clean. 🪑 RELAXED Wonderful: no garish colors in this location and no blaring music. For the first time, I didn't feel like I had to get out of here as quickly as possible, but could just calmly eat my burger. After a very long car ride, that's nice (this location is very close to the highway). The chairs are, of course, too hard, but that's how it should be. There was a cozy reading table with a game for children. We didn't have one, but of course we played it anyway. 👨‍💼 STAFF AND CUSTOMER FRIENDLINESS I saw quite a few complaints in other reviews about the staff. Maybe I was lucky, but I was treated more than well here. First of all, I accidentally ordered the wrong item. I was able to exchange it without asking, and even though a bite had been taken. The manager regularly walked by and looked kindly at the customers, including our group. The younger ladies at the cash register were polite. These all seem like things that should be taken for granted. We all know that this simply isn't the case at most fast food franchises in big cities. Judeska's does exist. 🍔 THE FOOD Well. Just McDonald's. My McKroket might have been a bit too greasy (I didn't let it drain properly), but the rest of our group had no complaints. You know what to expect: dry meat on your Big Mac, sour sauces, and too much salt on your fries. Sometimes you just want Mac. A bit of a chemical mess because it reminded you of your childhood.
