McDonald's in Wijk 00 Drachten

One of the better McDonald's. Fast food that is also delivered fresh and fast, as it should be.

I have been helped several times by a young gentleman named Wiebe. After seeing him and being assisted by him multiple times, I decided to ask for his name. Always positive and helpful towards my family and my children. I am always happy to return with such lovely staff!

Bad, wrong order multiple times…

Good service fast and cheap would recommend

Went through the McDrive, the food was quick and tasty. Didn't ask for sauce but got it anyway, really great. Plus, lots of caramel in the McFlurry.

It says on the ordering terminal in the drive-thru: scan here if you have the app. We did that, but according to the employee, that was no longer possible because it had to be done at the window. He said it in a very curt manner. We asked if he couldn't just float the idea that those stickers could be removed, as it is confusing; according to the employee, he couldn't do that (seems strange to me that you can't say this to your supervisor), and you can easily wreck your tires in the parking spot; maintenance is barely done there.

Too bad the iced coffee machine has been broken for a month already??

Ordered food, sat down, and it was here within 3 minutes. Not freshly made, lukewarm/warm, but I needed a quick bite so didn't have time for too much fuss. Outside it was a huge mess, rubbish everywhere and the trash can was bursting. The staff could also project a bit more formal image because everyone was grumpy.

I went through the McDrive at McDonald's this week for a coffee and an ice cream. And I have rarely been spoken to so kindly at a McDonald's as here in Drachten! First of all, the order was taken neatly, cheerfully, and politely. (Believe me, that doesn't happen often at McDonald's). Next, at the first window, I had a coupon from the app scanned (Sundea for €2.75). But the friendly young man noticed that the order had actually become more expensive, because prices vary by McDonald's and they are simply slightly lower as standard in Drachten. He resolved it nicely for me. I am impressed! Many wouldn't have noticed this, let alone told me. His name was Joran; what a star he is! Then, at the second and last window, I was also handed my order neatly by another employee: 'Would you like some sugar with that?' Friendly and polite. For McDonald's standards: I am impressed!

Didn't receive the drink, sauce, and fruit with the Happy Meal, and the fries were super soggy. Such a shame :(

This is a cozy McDonald's near the center of Drachten. The food, service, and atmosphere are good. I only miss parasols outside on the terrace. Otherwise, absolutely fine!

I arrived at 00:50 and really wanted something to eat after a long drive. I had checked my card, and then I heard the cash register being counted; most companies do this after closing time, don't they?

The food was tasty. But it was very busy. I felt like the tables were packed as closely as possible. That wasn't very pleasant. But it was clean, the staff was nice, and the food was served very quickly despite the crowds. A small play area inside is unusual.

Receipt number 353, order 53 1 Big Mac + 1 Double Quarter Pounder without onion. A cold Big Mac and a Double Quarter Pounder that wasn't exactly warm either, even colder than the average home-delivered pizza.... Both ended up in the bin. I didn't even gain 3 minutes on the drive-thru... sad... I've had my last visit...😢😭😫 Sad......g

Mac sludge. Please do something about the settings of that ice cream machine once and for all. A MacFlurry should be a little soft, but not a liquid drink. It is more milkshake than ice cream. Employees indicate that they can't do much about this due to the machine settings. Why don't you change these settings then?

The burger I ordered came with a bonus: a beautiful blonde hair in the melted cheese. I received a new burger with the cheese still hard. Very disappointing.

Lukewarm food, sauce often forgotten. It's been 8+ months since I've used Uber Eats or anything else, so it's impossible to just order. Fix your service. It's the least you can do.

Bad, super bad takeout, as the food there is lukewarm and the staff is unfriendly. The tables are dirty; if you ask if it's not clean, a Miep comes and cleans it super wet. They say you have to dry it yourself. And then the food is almost cold.

Vague atmosphere, busy service and long wait during rush hour, best food ever

Well, I'm a McDonald's fan, but since the Groenewegen family took over this McDonald's, they've been cutting corners on how the food is served, and we've had to complain afterward several times to get our way. And it's only getting worse, and I'll keep complaining until they start prioritizing the customer over their revenue figures.

Cleaning isn't really something they do... The floor, tables, and sanitary facilities are really too filthy to eat there pleasantly.

Ordered a McFlurry, but the employee smelled like a walking piece of shit. My appetite went away immediately. I won't be coming here again.

MC flurry only half full. 3cm of foam on top of the chocolate milk. The burger that should have been crispy was just a slop. And the burgers were as dry as a bone.

Tasted great, was ready quickly, and we got everything we ordered. This can sometimes go wrong.

I was at macdrive ordered 2x a macflurry and look in the container there was not even a quarter in the cup I think that is really bad McDonalds should really fill the macflurry better otherwise I will not order tasty ice cream here anymore like this for 6.80 2 mac flurrys I think is a waste of my money for a few snacks

What a mess here. The trash bins outside aren't being used. The whole area is littered with McDonald's packaging.

I was cursed at and called "sad" when I asked for more ice cream with my McFlurry (it didn't have anything in it). They were really weird losers there, especially Jan.

Fries were hot/fresh, quick handling of the line!

The fries were so salty, like licking a salt shaker. The hamburger resembled a shoe sole with a bit of crushed leaf and something slippery (pickle?). No bowl for dipping sauce... Hadn't been there in 20 years, but I won't be back...

I've never been greeted with such a big smile of the drive-thru attendant as i was greeted here. I dont know if this is a netherlands thing but in Australia the McDonald's attendants can't smile, i think they remove it when you begin work. It was really nice to see and made the meal even better. Very dirty, we wanted to eat ice cream here but there was hardly a clean table to be found. This was just a quiet weekday (midday). There was hardly anyone there.

We had to wait more than 15 minutes for the coffee and it was not busy

There were mostly young people working around 4 p.m., and several people had been waiting forever, but it seemed like the blonde girl behind the counter had to do everything herself. She took orders, delivered them, and delivered takeout meals. In the kitchen, she packed everything herself. There weren't many other people around, so I got the feeling she was a bit annoyed by it too.

Lots of junk everywhere from McDonald's in and around the area, the drive-in is terrible and often incredibly busy on weekends. In terms of atmosphere and friendliness, there are definitely other McDonald's that have a better reputation. I've also experienced several times that the food isn't very hot. Note that this varies greatly, even when it is good. So, this is purely a personal opinion.

We order ice cream. They arrive half-melted. I'll bet we get (new) ones. They'll do a double take and give us the old ice creams back. It's always a good experience at this McDonald's. Better drive to McDonald's A7.

1 way too expensive 2 food is inedible and 3 if you order 500ml of drinking it is 75% ice and 25% drink and you pay the hoft price for that

MC in Leeuwarden, NL, was extremely hectic and completely overcrowded at lunchtime. Despite this, all the employees were very helpful and friendly, trying to control the chaos... all in all, it went quite quickly... Be careful outside the door... the risk of being run over by a cyclist or e-scooter rider is 80 percent... they've really had it... this has nothing to do with reasonable cooperation... it's completely inconsiderate... a real shame...

Several vans were without receipt paper

You come there for 2 milkshakes you already paid and they just let you wait more than 5 min. It's the umpteenth time. I won't come here anymore either.

I have been working on my complaint since the beginning of May. They keep promising by phone and email that it will be resolved. The last email to me was on May 20th and they indicated that they are going to resolve it now. Today (May 26th) I returned from a few days away, and it has not been resolved yet. This seems like nothing!

great food. only the wait here sometimes takes so long. sometimes have to wait a quarter of an hour for just a coffee. yes that really takes way too long for me

Good mac is slightly busier than a7 during the day

The people there can barely speak Dutch, they often forget something about the order and the one time you say something about it, they immediately call in the manager and accuse you of lying.

Parking lot is messy, maybe some extra helping hands to clean the area, there were a lot of papers and cups on the ground, the rest was manageable

The man behind the talking thing really wanted to die but he was truly a legend and sweet. But the woman from the second window was not that cool or great, but the food was good because the mac.

Quality is good. Quantity is less. A big tasty is not exactly big anymore. And sometimes you don't understand that fast-talking youth.

Not really very pleased with the food. The burgers and the like are always good. The fries are almost always cold and limp. In addition, in 50% of the orders placed via the McDrive, the order is incomplete. I therefore always first check whether everything is present before I drive away. That shouldn't be necessary.

Ordered today via Uber eats. Usually the food is always top notch. But today I got a cold Burger with dry meat (big tasty). Also the fries were cold and not crispy. They even tasted like they were already old.

A McDonalds according to the rules, with very friendly staff who clean often. Ball pit is a success for the little ones.
