Someone at this branch is not doing their job properly.

The food is good. Trash cans were overflowing with garbage while the staff stood chatting in the kitchen and seemed unmotivated.

Chicken nuggets were exchanged; they were cold and soggy. Fries were also cold and soggy. Service was friendly and I received new ones.

Nice, clean location. They deliver your order. The outside is also nice and clean.

Decent place, too bad the food was lukewarm, both the fries and the burger, hence 1 star. I pay fair price for it and I get this.

It was fine, but we asked for 2 large fries and 1 McNuggets and got 2 boxes of McNuggets? On the one hand that was fine, because someone was still hungry, but on the other hand, they didn't listen to us properly.

The McDrive has very tight turns; with a long car, this can be difficult to maneuver! The food has deteriorated over the years, often already cold or lukewarm. The fries are the same story, and the price-quality ratio for what you get is far too high, especially when the food is poorly prepared. The staff is very inconsistent, but generally speaking, there is room for improvement at this location. In terms of child-friendliness, I know many better McDonald's.

Tasty fries. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to use your own mug if you buy a cup of coffee there.

Well, it's a McDonald's, it's not that exciting.

Dirty restaurant, lots of tables with trash left behind, overflowing trash cans. For the first time eating at McDonald's, I didn't like the food. Cold fries and the burger didn't really taste good either.

Ugly interior, no straws, no extra napkins anywhere. Stale bun with a limp, undercooked chicken burger. Or maybe it was days old... No idea, took it out of my mouth and didn't eat it. All the surrounding places are nicer, Joure is the best and Drachten A7 the valley.

Very clean and fast service, many a Mac could learn from this.

Went to Oerrock, what a mess. Barrier fences inside and you couldn't even go to the toilet because it was locked (I do understand it, though).

You order an ice cream at the McDrive, wait 10 minutes, and when you finally get it: without the ordered nuts, which you did receive after asking. You drive on and discover that they have melted as well. Then you call to complain, the response is very unprofessional, and all you get is a apology.

Incorrect order resolved properly. They were also very helpful. On the other hand, I have had tastier food at McDonald's...

Speakers or something defective. Constant humming and hissing. Extremely annoying. Fortunately, it was picked up quickly by the manager and owner. I don't know yet if it's fixed. (It is fixed) And when the door opens, you're sitting in a draft.

A wonderful experience. McDrive, Tuesday morning, 9:00 AM. Ordered fries and twelve burgers. The service was very friendly and helpful. The lady was like a great hostess in a top restaurant. She even volunteered to bring me the fries outside first, so I could have something to eat in the car while waiting for the rest of my order. Her thoughtfulness and cordiality made my visit a fantastic experience. I'll be back soon. Thank you!

Fresh and fast, oil not burnt, fries good

It gets very crowded on Sunday evenings, so the staff is insufficient for cleaning. All the trash cans are full, and the toilets are unfortunately dirty. Otherwise, it's quite good.

What kind of company are you, firing two people because "there are too many people," then hiring two new people the day they're fired? That's deception, don't you think? And yes, I'm defending them because this is pure bullshit. They've done their absolute best every time they've been there, and then you just throw them aside like that? Sure, maybe they did some strange things on the work floor, but you're forgetting they're 15, and one of them just turned 16, so you could have helped out in the kitchen. This isn't how it should be, is it?

Busy, dirty and full trash cans

The food is what you expect from McDonald's, nothing more, nothing less. The fact that I rarely make it has more to do with my lazy mood. Sometimes I don't feel like grocery shopping and cooking.

After a visit to a particularly filthy restroom, I ordered my food, then waited 28 minutes, only to find it was practically cold in the car. A cold, poorly folded wrap and a lukewarm, watery cappuccino.

Waiting fifteen minutes for six chicken nuggets at the McDrive. You expect something different from McDonald's. This was made up for by the extremely friendly and imperturbable attendant.

Just a McDonald's! Nothing special, nothing fancy. Just the quality you expect, so it's great!

Wonderfully quiet in terms of customers. But the music was so loud we could barely hear each other. The restrooms were spotless. The staff were friendly. Next time, though, we'll either use the Mac drive-through or just keep going.

I'm truly speechless.... The only positive thing was our cashier, she was fantastic! You get the idea. I won't elaborate too much, but the food was all cold and disgusting... :( Only the two new large burgers were good... but really... so I went back... and the way the team then handled it was truly appalling!!! Where is the standard!! Where is the humanity? Where is the fresh food you pay for, and where is proper complaint handling? .... I won't be coming back to this MC... Good food, friendly staff but nothing special

At that time, it wasn't possible to get table service at the restaurant. Furthermore, the wait for the food to be ready was over 20 minutes, and afterward, the trash bins were overflowing, making it impossible to dispose of it properly. There was even a trash bin lying on the lawn outside upon arrival, with the same view upon departure. Never had such a bad restaurant experience before. However, it should be noted that the food was cooked to the right temperature and flavor after being picked up at the counter.

I've been to McDonald's Drachten Azeven three times in the past month and always order the same thing: a McSmart menu with a cheeseburger (just cheese) and a plain chili chicken. I always check the screen to make sure the order is correct—it usually says: no ketchup, no onion, no pickle, but not no mustard. Every time, I politely indicate this at the register or during pickup, and they say it will be fine. Yet, I always get a cheeseburger with mustard. It's a shame, because the food is otherwise excellent, but this problem keeps recurring. I hope that in the future, they can pay more attention to special orders, especially if customers explicitly request them. A small adjustment, but it makes a big difference in the experience!

Food is nice, but for the price it should've been better, the McDonald's is way too overpriced nowadays.

I don't like McDonald's food, I like thick fries and I also think the hamburgers look like shoe leather, the only thing that is still edible is the McKroquette and the chicken products

We had to wait forever but the burgers were not fresh and there was a strip of plastic in my cheese. It was probably even worse than I think because we were all day working hard and not eating so we were very hungry and ate it anyway. Plastic picked aside 🤦‍♀️

The McDonald's the rest of the Netherlands can emulate. Good service, friendly but knowledgeable staff, food at the right temperature—simply good.

Unfortunately, they missed a few items from our pickup order again. We ordered takeout today, and when we got home, we noticed they hadn't included two cheeseburgers. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've experienced this, and I wish the staff had been more attentive.

Ridiculously high prices for so little food. I had a medium menu, which included a very small cheeseburger, not even a double. And the McFlurry wasn't even filled to the brim. Very disappointing.

The A-Zeven Mac near Drachten. Recently renovated, it unfortunately feels like you're eating in a bathroom. White metro tiles hang everywhere, which doesn't enhance the atmosphere. The chairs and tables feel cold and clinical, more like a waiting room at the UMCG hospital. Easy to clean, perhaps, but detrimental to the overall atmosphere. No napkins with the menu, and nowhere to be found to grab your own. I asked at the counter, but the guy in question, who apparently wasn't very motivated (perhaps thinking about his Fatbike, social status, girls, and Snapchat), didn't get it and asked a colleague who did. Maybe this guy was having a bad day, oh well, who knows... The quality of the burgers isn't what it used to be. The milkshakes are a tasteless lump of ice cream, so you can't suck a single drop through those annoying paper straws. Sure, it's a fast food restaurant, a quick bite and then on to the next thing. But this concept is completely wrong! Then there's the loud music combined with the background noise. You eat in a hollow, echoey bathroom, which quickly overstimulates you. No, just calmly devouring a burger is simply not possible these days... Price-wise, you're paying too much for what you get. By the time you leave the McDonald's, you're hungry again. Everything used to be better, and in this case, that's certainly true!

You pay a lot for nothing. This thing wasn't even half full. It was gone in 3 bites... disappointing

Terrible restaurant. It wasn't even busy and there were food scraps and packaging all over the floor. I didn't get a cardboard cup with my coke but a reusable cup. I didn't have anything else but my friends did. I barely drank my coke and I found black mold in it. I fished it out to show it. Are these cups cleaned properly? I got a new one but the whole picture wasn't tasty. I was surprised that the rats and mice weren't there yet. In the photo you can just see 1 piece of mold floating. Then just clean that drinking machine better or check those plastic cups.

Food was good. (What we got) We had ordered take away. On the way we found out that half of it was missing. Because we were on time we didn't have time to go back. So if you order here, check first if you have everything!
