McDonald's in Ureterp

Wonderfully quiet in terms of customers. But the music was so loud we could barely hear each other. The restrooms were spotless. The staff were friendly. Next time, though, we'll either use the Mac drive-through or just keep going.

Just like a McDonald's should be: clean, freshly prepared food, and very friendly staff. Nice place.

I'm truly speechless.... The only positive thing was our cashier, she was fantastic! You get the idea. I won't elaborate too much, but the food was all cold and disgusting... :( Only the two new large burgers were good... but really... so I went back... and the way the team then handled it was truly appalling!!! Where is the standard!! Where is the humanity? Where is the fresh food you pay for, and where is proper complaint handling? .... I won't be coming back to this MC... People, if the food is that bad, please say something... because according to my children, they don't do that anymore... they can hardly talk to a kiosk like that... cash registers still exist... If you want good, fresh food... Leeuwarden city center... guaranteed good food... and if it's not, they don't care!!! You get an apology, fresh food, and a good feeling... not good dr88 a7 .... not good

Good food, friendly staff but nothing special

At that time, it wasn't possible to get table service at the restaurant. Furthermore, the wait for the food to be ready was over 20 minutes, and afterward, the trash bins were overflowing, making it impossible to dispose of it properly. There was even a trash bin lying on the lawn outside upon arrival, with the same view upon departure. Never had such a bad restaurant experience before. However, it should be noted that the food was cooked to the right temperature and flavor after being picked up at the counter.

I've been to McDonald's Drachten Azeven three times in the past month and always order the same thing: a McSmart menu with a cheeseburger (just cheese) and a plain chili chicken. I always check the screen to make sure the order is correct—it usually says: no ketchup, no onion, no pickle, but not no mustard. Every time, I politely indicate this at the register or during pickup, and they say it will be fine. Yet, I always get a cheeseburger with mustard. It's a shame, because the food is otherwise excellent, but this problem keeps recurring. I hope that in the future, they can pay more attention to special orders, especially if customers explicitly request them. A small adjustment, but it makes a big difference in the experience!

Food is nice, but for the price it should've been better, the McDonald's is way too overpriced nowadays.

I don't like McDonald's food, I like thick fries and I also think the hamburgers look like shoe leather, the only thing that is still edible is the McKroquette and the chicken products

We had to wait forever but the burgers were not fresh and there was a strip of plastic in my cheese. It was probably even worse than I think because we were all day working hard and not eating so we were very hungry and ate it anyway. Plastic picked aside 🤦‍♀️

The McDonald's the rest of the Netherlands can emulate. Good service, friendly but knowledgeable staff, food at the right temperature—simply good.

Unfortunately, they missed a few items from our pickup order again. We ordered takeout today, and when we got home, we noticed they hadn't included two cheeseburgers. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've experienced this, and I wish the staff had been more attentive.

McDonald's is McDonald's, but what a filthy mess! All the bins were overflowing, there was trash everywhere, and many tables were dirty! Luckily, the milkshake tasted just as good.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. In short, a McDonald's, like most of them. You either love it or hate it. It's not cheap anymore.

Ridiculously high prices for so little food. I had a medium menu, which included a very small cheeseburger, not even a double. And the McFlurry wasn't even filled to the brim. Very disappointing.

Did 3 things wrong, sorry very bad

The A-Zeven Mac near Drachten. Recently renovated, it unfortunately feels like you're eating in a bathroom. White metro tiles hang everywhere, which doesn't enhance the atmosphere. The chairs and tables feel cold and clinical, more like a waiting room at the UMCG hospital. Easy to clean, perhaps, but detrimental to the overall atmosphere. No napkins with the menu, and nowhere to be found to grab your own. I asked at the counter, but the guy in question, who apparently wasn't very motivated (perhaps thinking about his Fatbike, social status, girls, and Snapchat), didn't get it and asked a colleague who did. Maybe this guy was having a bad day, oh well, who knows... The quality of the burgers isn't what it used to be. The milkshakes are a tasteless lump of ice cream, so you can't suck a single drop through those annoying paper straws. Sure, it's a fast food restaurant, a quick bite and then on to the next thing. But this concept is completely wrong! Then there's the loud music combined with the background noise. You eat in a hollow, echoey bathroom, which quickly overstimulates you. No, just calmly devouring a burger is simply not possible these days... Price-wise, you're paying too much for what you get. By the time you leave the McDonald's, you're hungry again. Everything used to be better, and in this case, that's certainly true!

You pay a lot for nothing. This thing wasn't even half full. It was gone in 3 bites... disappointing

Terrible restaurant. It wasn't even busy and there were food scraps and packaging all over the floor. I didn't get a cardboard cup with my coke but a reusable cup. I didn't have anything else but my friends did. I barely drank my coke and I found black mold in it. I fished it out to show it. Are these cups cleaned properly? I got a new one but the whole picture wasn't tasty. I was surprised that the rats and mice weren't there yet. In the photo you can just see 1 piece of mold floating. Then just clean that drinking machine better or check those plastic cups.

Food was good. (What we got) We had ordered take away. On the way we found out that half of it was missing. Because we were on time we didn't have time to go back. So if you order here, check first if you have everything!

I regularly go to the McDrive here. Cheese on burger a few times while I ordered without, lids not properly on the drink causing it to leak, sometimes very greasy burgers. Cars that join later but are still helped earlier. Not the best mac

Went with the football club, the children thought it was great

.any atmosphere and great staff. Everything was clean and tidy. We forgot to mention that our son only liked the burger bun and cheese, so we received a replacement burger at no cost.

In the advertising you always hear... freshly prepared... well not really. Limp, lukewarm fries... burger not seasoned properly, had no taste. Woman behind window 1 is friendly.

Delicious food. At checkout there was a group in front of us who all ordered ice cream. Of course no problem, but I did want to pay and they would first make all those ice creams while they had more staff.

Ordered. After 24 minutes our food arrives. According to the tray sticker, food is set out at 12.41. And 12.48 at our table. Shame. Fries cold

Ordered 2 Cappucinnos, waited 15 minutes only to receive lukewarm coffee. Reported this at checkout, but little to no response. New ones would be made immediately. After 5 minutes I asked again. No response again. Asked for a refund. Manager came by, didn't respond and left. Finally a friendly girl came and quickly brought us coffee. No apology received. No compensation or kindness offered in this McDonald's.

Super bad. First we were told that there were no croissants, then we were told that they were. After waiting 20 minutes we finally got our 2 mc muffins while we had ordered 3. I had gone inside specifically as agreed to get the croissants. Ordered, paid and after 20 minutes I was told that they had sold the 8 croissants that they had baked. I had indicated that I thought it was a shame because we had already waited 40 minutes. And indicated that they did not want to bake new ones for us. What a badly organized business! The girl I spoke to almost acted as if it was my fault.

Too few staff. The place looked like a wheelie bin. All trash cans and tables full. Waited 25 minutes for the order. But the mess... If you don't have enough staff, close that place, this does not do the Macdonalds name any good.

Small McDonalds, fairly clean, food not hot unfortunately. The restaurant is not yet completely up to date in terms of table service via the app.

Cold atmosphere. Staff boring. Had to ask for sugar, stirrer, not offered.

Crappy food from this place, Hamburgers on both sides almost black brown green lettuce on chili chicken, fries limp and way too salty.... Really a disappointment for me, not again!

By the McDrive. Ordered a Mcwrap, thinking I would get a honey mustard chicken wrap. Received a sloppily folded wrap with everything apparently splattered on it. And no honey mustard, but chili sauce and a cold slice of cheddar cheese. Brrrrr

Very spacious and recently renovated branch. Food of trusted quality. Not very atmospheric and almost always quiet inside.

After the renovation, the chairs are hard, the colors are cold, and the play areas for kids, both inside and outside, are gone. Incomprehensible choice. Now I consciously go to another location with my kids and this location is therefore losing customers

After the renovation I saw some improvement. Yet the atmosphere has remained the same, always noisy. And the waiting time was long, we had to wait fifteen minutes for our food. I saw that there is a new promotion, bicycle lights are being handed out. What struck me is that the lights are only distributed to children instead of adults. Then just hand it out to everyone, that's fair. Tables are kept reasonably clean, which is another plus.

Took a while before we were served. Looks fresh after the renovation.

20-02-2025: - Fries are limp, almost raw, seem unfried - They forgot about drinking - For an order of €35 I can expect more than 1 napkin.

Restaurant has recently been renovated. Mc drive has been improved with a better exit. Also more spacious inside. We have eaten regularly, it was always good, but the last time the fries were really cold from the MC Drive... This after a 3-minute drive from the restaurant, which is a real shame. And a pity that it only opens at 8 in the morning. So no morning coffee or MC breakfast here.

As if I'm waiting at the dentist with the new interior... not really pleasant.

After the renovation, this McDonalds looks like a cheap doner kabab place. What an ugly cheap looking interior. They probably won't be half the price now. How do you scare your customers away? Well!

Despite interior renovation, still cold food. The chicken in the wrap was lukewarm, the wrap itself was ice cold as if it had just come out of the freezer. In short, bad food and we could have eaten better and cheaper at the local snack bar for 26 euros. Not for me anymore, I can't stop pouring over that McDonalds crap

It says that the Mac is open, but we are standing in front of a closed door. Then two McKrotjes have gone wrong and two rumbling stomachs have arrived on your doorstep. Very bummed. :(

Not personally against the establishment of Azeven itself. But really gigantic prices that are charged at the MAC. The MAC is a real inflation exploiter. MAC AZEVEN is the last branch I went to. I think €6.50 for a single big tasty is outrageous for a 2nd class citizen. This horny bear distances himself from the MAC

Arrive tonight and order a milkshake, I saw red fruit, I have no idea what I got, but I've never had anything so disgusting, it certainly wasn't a milkshake! €3.60 straight into the wheelie bin!!

Often dirty tables, even when it is not busy.

This is really not a high end dining establishment. The staff clearly cannot handle crowds. Something went wrong with a take-away order for two children and 1 adult. The 2 portions of chicken nuggets were not included, the burger was cold, McFlurries half melted and 1 of them also turned out to be wrong. Oreos and M&Ms look so much alike. In short; the staff doesn't seem to care about the customers (they weren't at the front when the pussies were handed out), and the manager (white shirt and sagging glasses) doesn't understand at all what it means to run a successful food business. No, his attention seems to be on watching his female colleagues. I didn't go there often, but to please the children we went there yesterday. Definitely the last time, for a good snack we will go to Plaza Bakkeveen again. There you are appreciated as a customer, you do not pay too much and quality is of paramount importance.
