A girl at the bakery in the Wateringen shopping center grabs a sausage roll with her bare hands, even though she has long fake nails and there are pliers in the bakery she could use to pick up the roll. Unprofessional and gross. I am not coming back.

The croissants were delicious, but the old lady grabs them by hand and then immediately pays the bill. Without first sanitizing her hands. If you're not hygienic for the customer, I wonder what it looks like behind the scenes?!

I always stop by for a cup with my buddy when we cycle that way. It's always a lively atmosphere and the coffee is good.

Herenstraat 13This really takes the fun out of just popping in for a quick cup of coffee! The pastries suddenly turned out to be €1.00 more expensive each for serving, which ultimately isn't a big deal. And on top of that, they save on packaging materials! A major minus. It would be better to have the pastries wrapped, just order the coffee, and eat the pastries straight from the packaging.

Herenstraat 1I have been visiting Paul Schalke Bakery for a while now and am always helped in a friendly manner by all the staff; furthermore, the bread and other products are of very high quality. I highly recommend them.
