I got pastries here once, they were fantastic! This will be my go-to pastry shop from now on. On New Year's Eve 2025, I bought oliebollen, which were really delicious, though a bit small!

I wanted to pick up an order today, but not everything was there. Then they called me and told me that part of it could be delivered, and it would be brought to the office. A good compromise after all. They're thinking along with you!

I got married last May and placed my order here. Cons: -Contact was poor, and I waited a long time for a response (more than a week). A week before the wedding, I had no idea what my order would be like, such as when it would be delivered and a time slot. -The small wedding cake was not at all what I had requested (showing a picture of what I wanted was very disappointing; I simply thought the cake was ugly). -Agreements were suddenly changed because of the cake I ordered. -If I hadn't gone to the store myself, my order wouldn't have arrived. Pros: - The wedding cake tasted delicious. - The small pastries I ordered looked beautiful and everyone loved them. - I received fresh testers to choose the flavors, and I also received one of each small pastry.

Best bakery in the whole area. Christiaan delivers quickly and delivers exceptionally good quality. Cheers! Recommended for everyone.

We bought oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts). We had such delicious oliebollen with a nice layer. The apple fritters were super delicious with a nice piece of apple inside. A 10 out of 10 for us.

Normally often satisfied with Mekking products. Got a pastry at half past ten this morning and really not happy. Custard was already half rolled and even had a kind of crust on it. Looking back, there were hardly any pastries left, so I now have the feeling that I just got the old stuff from yesterday. And sorry, but the amounts are not there to do that. Then make sure that the items from Bennekom are delivered on time.

Pastry shop Mekking in Veenendaal is always top notch in terms of experience and service. Especially when we are helped by the local manager and former student of ours, Christiaan Huibers. Always willing to have a nice chat with his old master and wife. Peppered with humor and self-mockery. But the point is: it is not cheap and that is completely justified, because it is all of extremely good quality and creativity. You keep coming back. Truly a 5-star pastry shop!!

Received a strawberry slip at Mekking because they were the best in the Netherlands. We certainly enjoyed that. In a word, it tasted DELICIOUS.

Enjoyed a high tea for 2 people this afternoon. We used the Lekker weg voucher from Hema. Both the savory and sweet portions tasted great. The service was very friendly. Definitely a place I will come back to again.
