Super cozy and delicious food Great service

We had a lovely meal, thanks to the great company. The food itself varied considerably. We found some dishes lacking in flavor. Another stood out and was delicious. One steak hot plate was very good, another was way overcooked. The sushi was also tasty, but there was far too much rice, which made you feel full quickly. At the end, they had a dessert buffet. We found the acoustics poor. You could hear other people's conversations if you wanted to. We definitely had a great evening.

Mellow in Oss is a wonderful place for dinner. The all-you-can-eat tapas concept is fantastic, with delicious sushi and many other tasty dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the staff is friendly. I always enjoy coming here – highly recommended!

Not just any all-you-can-eat! It's much more than that, much more chic and fresh. The interior is super modern, and the food is delicious. We had a wonderful meal.

Poor service, took ages. Almost four hours of eating and only had four dishes and three drinks. Order receipts lost. Food was tough and disgusting. Portions were small. Spent a lot of money for very little food and poor service.

Let me start by saying that the food was excellent. It also arrived fairly quickly. One drawback, however, was the acoustics. We were seated in the front section facing the road, and even though it wasn't particularly busy, it felt like a huge chicken coop when people were talking. I couldn't easily hear my companions at the table. The lights were also quite bright. Create some ambiance and dim the larger lamps a bit. It would definitely make a positive difference.

I visited Mellow Dining in Oss last Thursday and it was highly recommended! The à la carte concept is unlimited and without a time limit. You order one dish at a time, which makes it extra fun to try everything. My absolute favorites were the Beef Tataki, the Mini Poké Bowl Sashimi, and the Teppan Sea Bass. Each one was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. In fact, everything I tried was delicious! The atmosphere is relaxed, there's plenty of space between the tables, and the decor is modern and stylish. The perfect finishing touch was the super friendly host, someone who truly enjoys his work and makes you feel immediately welcome. In short, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Mellow Dining is highly recommended if you appreciate quality, ambiance, and hospitality!

Excellent food. Only one dish per round, but it lasts for three hours. You'll end up completely stuffed. Unfortunately, when it's busy, you have to wait far too long, up to 40 minutes, for your meal. That's not pleasant.

A good restaurant for a one-off, but there are many better restaurants with this concept. All in all, a good and tasty meal for a reasonable price.

A bit of mixed feelings. We'd never been here before, and as strangers, we don't know our way around Oss. The restaurant is on a large, busy main road, with no parking facilities, etc. Before we went, I'd already tried using Google Maps to find parking. We're completely clueless. I saw that there was parking at the Ridderhof. Google Maps also indicates this when you search for parking. And it's only near the restaurant. So we went there, and I parked the car at the Ridderhof. Luckily, there was a parking space, but you have to pay. €2.50 per hour. Oh well, so be it. We then walked to the restaurant, and guess what? There's a large, two-story parking garage behind the restaurant. This isn't mentioned anywhere, not even on the restaurant's website. And apparently, Google doesn't know either. So take advantage of this, folks. You drive to the restaurant, but next to the railway line, you have to enter a very small, narrow street with a barrier. This is open in the evening (it's closed in the photos on Google Maps, so I was under the impression when I searched that it was private property, as that's where the Biolumnis B.V. building is located). There's plenty of parking there. Be sure to arrive early, because when we left, the garage was packed; cars were even parked on the sidewalks. I think Mellow Dining should make this clear on their website where the parking is located. It would save people a lot of stress. As for the restaurant itself, it's very good, with an extensive menu, lots of dishes to choose from, friendly staff, and the food is delicious. They have a really good chef, which is great! You choose via a tablet; you can order a maximum of one dish per person per round. But you can order as often as you like. There's also an extensive ice cream and pastry buffet available. The food is also delivered and the dishes collected by robots. Super fun! As for the rest of the surroundings, we didn't find the restaurant's decor very inviting (but that's a personal preference). It's a huge ballroom where the tables seem to "sink in," so to speak. Perhaps they could work a bit more with a cozy and well-conceived lighting scheme (there's a "hard" light) and add a bit more color and decorations on the walls. A bit more separation with planters and benches. It's all very yellow/white and empty. If you look at the photos here, it looks truly beautiful. But in reality, it feels much emptier and more barren. Perhaps because it's so big. Anyway, we came to eat. I do want to mention that we felt it took a very long time between orders. And I've read that from several people here. It's something people say often. Mellow Dining should be faster. If you order on the tablet and it then takes half an hour for the sushi to arrive... that's unacceptable. Maybe it was due to the size of our group. I have no idea. But consider your kitchen logistics carefully, Chef. So, as mentioned, mixed feelings. Good: delicious food, good quality, lots of choices, etc. Bad: information, sparse, speedy, all a bit uninviting.

A beautifully designed restaurant with an extensive menu featuring a variety of dishes. Something for everyone. They now use a tablet ordering system, and dishes are quickly reserved.

Disappointing, a 45-minute wait per dish. We arrived at 6:30 PM, and by 9:00 PM we'd finished 5 dishes per person. The kitchen closed at 9:30 PM, actually. Keep in mind that these are really small dishes. The taste is fine. Ultimately, we paid over €50 per person for six dishes and a plate of desserts. It certainly doesn't feel like all-you-can-eat. If you leave feeling understuffed, that's a disappointment. The owner should consider the pressure on the kitchen and staff relative to the customer capacity. Because the concept is really nice. It's striking that couples sitting next to us were sometimes served twice while we were waiting for our dishes. Is the kitchen focusing on small receipts? There were four of us. After addressing the waitress, she gave a small apology. But honestly, don't go there.

Delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere

The restaurant I recently visited made me feel like I was on vacation. The menu was packed with surprising flavors, and every dish was delicious. The staff made excellent suggestions and remained attentive throughout the evening. The decor was stylish and relaxing. The atmosphere completed the experience. It was an evening I won't soon forget.

We had a wonderful meal. We tried all the dishes, and they were all delicious. The staff was friendly. The interior is beautifully and cozy decorated. And if it's your birthday, Bella Bella the robot comes to your table with music and a little dance. Super funny, really great fun.

A luxurious version of all-inclusive. Beautifully decorated building, spacious with beautiful furniture. Lots of round tables which we personally really like. Extensive menu with meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. You can order 1 per course. The portion is somewhere between a tapas and a starter. It is served beautifully presented. The service is very friendly. For dessert you can use a dessert buffet.

Mellow is echt de enige eet gelegenheid waar je tegen een zeer betaalbare prijs echt formidabel kan eten. Ik lees iets over de parkeerplaats die niet afdoende zou zijn wat echt vreemd is. Deze is gratis, direct naast de deur! Mellow is een mooi concept all you can eat waardoor je de gehele avond relaxed kan zitten met elkaar in een zeer ongedwongen sfeer. Kogi ken ik nog niet, maar deze ruimte is niet zo prettig zoals ik gezien heb. De bediening is snel, accuraat en geeft echt advies bij vragen. Het eten is gevarieerd, erg goed warm, vers en zeer goed geportioneerd. Mellow heeft een kaart die eigenlijk voor iedereen geschikt is wat het makkelijk maakt om met verschillende mensen daar te gaan eten. Het kan niet mis gaan. Hygiëne is erg goed, ook de toiletten. Het is er gezellig en ongedwongen. Vaak is het erg druk en is reserveren wel soms handig als je ergens wil zitten naar voorkeur. Erg fijne avond gehad, heerlijk gegeten en een hele fijne bediening wat in andere eetgelegenheden nog wel eens te wensen over laat.

Op aanraden van iemand die dit adres beter vond dan Onsz zijn wij hier een keer gaan eten. Bij aankomst op de parkeerplaats bekroop ons al een oeioei gevoel want deze gaf de aanblik van een obscure schuilplaats voor zwervers en junks zoals je ze ziet in harde amerikaanse misdaadfilms. Dat je niet altijd kunt voorkomen dat ongewenste individuen zich op jouw terrein nestelen begrijp ik maar je kunt wel op zijn minst de rotzooi opruimen voordat je gasten komen. Binnen gekomen werden wij begeleid naar het meest ongezellige deel van het restaurant, veel te licht en helemaal niks aan de muren. De eerste serveerster die aan tafel kwam om de drankjes op te nemen en e. e. a. uit te leggen had er duidelijk helemaal geen zin in, bepaald geen warm welkom. Dan het eten zelf ook dat viel vies tegen. We begonnen met de salade krokante kip, deze bestond uit sla en dan bedoel ik ook echt alleen "sla" met daaroverheen gesprenkeld een handjevol stukjes paneer ter grootte van smarties met daarin verstopt minuscule stukjes van iets wat kip zou kunnen zijn, een aanfluiting. Mijn hoop dat het gaandeweg de avond beter zou worden bleek helaas ijdel want het niveau bleef bedroevend tot aan het dessertbuffet, met slagroom die je het beste onderweg naar je tafel kon opeten omdat hij anders was weggelopen, toe. Jammer maar hebben het geprobeerd, volgende keer weer gewoon naar Onsz.

Delicious food in a reasonable atmosphere

Had dinner here with friends last Tuesday. We have been here a few times, our friends for the first time. Glad that grumpy waitress (hip-hop look and long dark hair) wasn't there. She barely throws the plates on the table and seems very uninterested. As if she is angrily looking forward to her work time. Fortunately, we had a very nice host named Gregor this evening! We always enjoy the food very much. 1 dish per round, but a nice portion that is also beautifully presented. In terms of atmosphere it is a beautiful restaurant, but the last few times it was so quiet that it almost felt cold. We will definitely come back again. Hopefully that grump won't be there then either.

Delicious Korean BBQ, good service in a beautiful restaurant

We had a delicious meal. We ordered salt-free for my father, but that didn't go well. The owner immediately came and took care of it, which was very nice It's all you can eat, but I'm always the only one at the table who can eat a cart because of a stomach reduction. I think this is really great. I can participate but I can pay for what I eat, super organized. And certainly not something they have to do, but a nice service

When I was still eating everything, this was my favourite restaurant in the world. As a more (trying to eat healthy) plant-based eater, the choice is more limited (also for vegetarians). For starters, there is excellent veggie tartare but has dairy and eggs (sometimes too much cream/egg and too little veggies and fruits), goat cheese salad that has goat cheese, veggie gyozas that have eggs. Then there is plant-based tomato soup (I don't like tomato soups and a few times it was too spicy). Veggie roll sushi is very tasty and entirely plant-based. Mini Poke Bowl Veggie does not look like a poke bowl, but it is delicious anyway. Vegetable tempura is a fried vegetable mix in a crusty dough jacket and it is quite tasty, but I avoid fried foods. The star of plant-based dishes for me is Veggie Mix, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, it is pure deliciousness, I love the combination of veggies and some mushrooms in a lovely tasty sauce. I order it with a side of soybeans and a fresh salad (contains dairy). For dessert, there is a self-service dessert bar, I pick some litchi, pineapple, and strawberries (sometimes they even have blueberries, yum!), those are the only plant-based options, and I tried all the other desserts and ice-creams and there were nothing special. I only wish there were more plant-based & non-fried options, but Mellow Dining remains an amazing dine-in experience and I am very happy after every Mellow Dining dinner.

Mellow Oss beautifully decorated restaurant that works with the all you can eat formula. You choose 1 dish per person from the menu, place the menu upright and the waiter will come and take your order. Your food then arrives at the table very quickly (!), which I personally liked. The decor is very nice, the service is friendly, fast and helpful and the dishes are all very tasty. The quality is higher than at a normal all you can eat restaurant. Because the dishes all have a distinct taste and are freshly made. The prices are reasonable and there is an extensive cocktail menu. A big area for improvement in my opinion is the dessert. These cannot be ordered from the menu but are ready at the dessert buffet. These are all ready-made pastries/desserts from the wholesaler and the taste is minimal. The ice cream is also a disappointment because everyone here is scooping it with the same ice cream spoon and everything tastes mixed together at the end of the evening. There are no names for the ice cream types. The cookies you can get here are unfortunately dried out and tasteless. What an anticlimax to such a culinary evening.

Prachtig restaurant, mooie entourage, zeer vriendelijk en attent personeel. Vlotte bediening, maar het allerbelangrijkste is het heerlijke eten. Zoveel keus, met zorg bereidt en door leuke robot vlot gebracht, samen met serveerster. Robot speelt ook een hilarische rol in het hele gebeuren. Er is maar, letterlijk, een klein minpuntje. Dat zijn de damestoiletten. Heel luxe en schoon, maar de toiletten zijn zo laag dat je de indruk krijgt dat je in het kindertoilet zit. Verder alleen maar lof👍😋

Vanavond gezellig en lekker gegeten. De ober ( Gregory ) was zeer vriendelijk. Snelle/vlotte bediening. De oesters en zalm waren heerlijk. Toetjes buffet zag er goed uit, niks van op want we zaten vol. Voor ons was het zeer geslaagd.

It is a cozy restaurant. Only between rounds we had to wait longer than normal. Therefore 3 stars for the service, it happened that the dirty plates were still on the table and the new round was already at the table. This can not be. It is certainly a good all you can eat restaurant. Then why the three stars? For me, this is because there is little to no innovation in the menu, which is a shame. The service is very variable. From very friendly and comfortable to a waitress who is not friendly and just hands the plates over the table while there is enough space around the entire table. Excellent shielded areas for larger groups.

Been there before and it was really good. This time the food was significantly less and especially the sauces that are sprinkled over everything do not really add value. So ordered everything without sauce (or served separately).

Mellow is similar to the other tapas concept all you can eat places. I missed fresh vegetables and a glass of tap water ( I wasn’t allowed one, even after ordering wine). My child ate half a frikandel and a chicken nugget and I needed to pay 27 euro. If I could see prices on the menu of the meal I wouldn’t have gone.

Very cozy seating and a tasty menu. Friendly service. Unlimited choices and a delicious dessert buffet. A bit more handy at the front than at the back (we thought). One small downside, but it deserves attention, is the extremely low toilets.

Helaas niet de beste ervaring. Een ober die de tafel naar ons overvloedig met schoonmaak spray behandeld. Eten wat niet meer te bestellen is ( brood en zalm op o.a.). We moesten tussen elke gang vrij lang wachten. De keuken is maar open tot 21.30u en de toetjes tot 22.00u maar als je niet voor 21.40u je toetje hebt gehaald is je keuze heel weinig. De borden worden snel verwijderd en ook als andere van het gezelschap nog aan het eten zijn (zelfs een bord waarvan ik nog aan het eten was werd weggepakt). We hadden het gevoel wat gejaagd te worden. Om 21.15 al de laatste ronde eten gevraagd. Om 22.00u of we nog 1 drankje wilden want de bar gaat dicht. Jammer.

The better Asian restaurant. Don't go here for babi pangang and tjap-tjoi. Here you can eat á la carte and tapas style. The dishes are served tastefully and look very good. Clearly attention has been paid to every dish. There is a wide choice and you can order unlimited. Desserts can be ordered for a fee or taken from the buffet at no extra cost. Think of ice cream, fruit and small pastries. It's great that you can park in the restaurant's own parking lot. The staff are friendly and courteous. There are service robots driving around that help with serving. Also nice: the tables are not crowded together, but there is actually some space so that you have some privacy while eating.

Firstly, the food is very tastefully prepared and beautifully presented on the plate. It is difficult to distinguish yourself within the all you can eat concept. By having a waitress at your table after every round, they try to make it a bit more personal. So the menu is traditionally on a map and not on a tablet. It is a large restaurant so there is a lot of capacity and it is nice that they have created a lot of space between the tables for privacy.

This food was absolutely no quality. Duck breast fillet looked like a thick slice of ham, and that's how it tasted. On everything you will find a bush of parsley and a strip of white or red cabbage. Sauces and food don't taste like anything at all. Very bland tasteless carpaccio sushi. We got up immediately after finishing 4 dishes. The man behind the bar made us another coupon because we didn't like it and stocked up on all the recipes separately. Quality price ratio not okay. If you like really good food then you shouldn't come here. If you are not a foodie, you will probably love this.

Unlimited tapas. But a bit more luxurious. The dishes are somewhat larger than at other restaurants. And delicious oysters. Better to go here than to the other one...

The spinach in my (tiny) goat-cheese salad was very soggy. The goat cheese nuggets also not fresh. How difficult is it to use some fresh greens and cut some cubes of fresh goat cheese instead of using the pre-packaged stuff. At €6.50 I found this a bad menu item!

Delicious food. Good atmosphere and looks very clean and tidy. The service could be a little better. Sometimes they take away the plate or cutlery a little too quickly. Some are actually still eating. But not really disturbing. Otherwise a great restaurant. In any case, worth repeating!

Eaten here a few times. Unfortunately almost every round one of the orders was delivered incorrectly and the half lobster was unfortunately cold and tough. Fortunately, the male waiter with brown hair and glasses was very sympathetic.

I heard a lot of good things about Mellow Dining beforehand, but I thought it was very mediocre. Some dishes were very tasty, others less so. The same garnish for everything. A bunch of parsley and some strips of cabbage. And many dishes contain a bit of mashed potatoes that do not appear to have been freshly made. Dessert buffet was also ok. Very dirty ice cream scoop floating in filthy water. Service was also not very friendly. I won't be going there again anytime soon. It is also very expensive for the quality… We had a nice glass of wine. A tempranillo. 20 euros for a bottle. At Sligro 4 euros. What a win... And only open until 10pm (kitchen until 9:30pm), which is very early these days. Especially on weekends.

Last week we had dinner here and we were served by the young man in the white blouse with glasses and he made our evening, it was great. The food was delicious and the free parking is definitely a plus!

In my online reservation I asked about the options regarding my stomach reduction. So far (for a year) all restaurants have been very thoughtful about this. This restaurant wants to see my 'gastric reduction pass'. Never heard of it! By the way, I asked in advance for a reason because the texts on their website come across as rather unsympathetic. Never mind, I congratulated them for being the first restaurant where I didn't feel welcome after my surgery.

Pretty okay, but not great either. Service was fine, little to complain about. The food, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing. The tartare was poorly cut and was missing the other ingredients, onion and mustard not seen, had to add salt and pepper myself. An egg and some Worcestershire sauce would complete it. The duck wraps were quite bad. Dry wraps, little duck, no hoi sin sauce. The fried shrimp was fine, the lobster very average (dry) and the surf & turf was very tasty. I really like the concept and it is slightly different compared to other all-you-can-eat restaurants, but I do hope that next time the quality of the food will be slightly better.

Nice restaurant. Appetizers and main courses were very tasty. Orders were taken quickly and served quickly. Except for one girl (who has clearly been mentioned here before in the reviews), the staff was very friendly. Dessert buffet was disappointing, not much choice and many things were lukewarm.

Food in general was disappointing, but the raw shrimps were the highlight. The waiter looked strange because I hadn't finished my dish. Indicated they were raw. The only response I got was brrr. The service was not really hospitable and enthusiastic anyway. Truly one of the lesser restaurants I have eaten at.

Super grumpy with a terribly grumpy face. She comes to your table and says nothing!!!! Not once!! Fire that kid!! If she doesn't feel like it; then salt it up! This doesn't help matters.
