We thought it would be a nice day out in Eindhoven and checked TikTok for a nice spot. It looked super nice and we made a reservation right away. But immediately upon arrival, it looked completely different; no one greeted us. I said I had a reservation, she said just sit down. We sat at the table next to the fridge. The girl who was going to open our table didn't seem to be in a good mood. We ordered our first round; the salmon was impossible to bite through, and the salmon on the sushi was brown on the bottom. The shrimp were raw, and we thought, "It can happen, we're not leaving right away." But then a little mouse appeared and ran through the place. I went outside immediately. My girlfriend reported it to the staff, and they didn't look very surprised and basically said nothing. Eventually, a man came over and asked where it was sitting, so we answered. We immediately lost our appetite; we ate a total of 8 pieces per person and had 1 drink. We asked if it could perhaps be compensated, but that wasn't possible. We left immediately, and several other tables followed suit. All in all, we are never coming back here!!!

The three of us came here for dinner yesterday and have been regular customers for years. We ended up having three pieces of sushi left over. The fact that a surcharge is charged isn't even the problem. It is about the way this was presented. The employee spoke to us in a very unfriendly and arrogant tone. I indicated that it wasn't about those few euros for me, but about the way we were treated. The only answer I kept getting was: “Yes, I understand.” We were not listened to at all. Afterwards, the staff behind the counter were whispering, we received dirty looks, and we felt constantly watched. That gave us an incredibly uncomfortable feeling. It is a real shame that regular customers are treated this way. For us, this was the last time. Respect and customer friendliness cost nothing, and that is precisely what was completely lacking.

Took the deluxe all you can eat package, the idea is that every 10 minutes you can take 4 items per person. There were two of us, so each round consisted of 8 small dishes. They were brought out very slowly and inconsistently. At one point we noticed that some things we picked were not brought out at all, and after starting to keep track of things, it turned out to be true, even at the very end, we didn't receive multiple items spread out over several rounds. We were also not informed of a limit on desserts, not during the initial explanation on how the package works, nor in the menu, only when trying to order more were we told that the limit is 3 per person (total 6 scoops of ice cream). Over all not worth the price and we won't be visiting again.

Incredibly fast and friendly service

The food was tasty and the service was prompt. However, the sushi with salmon and tuna salad was very dry. There was no cozy atmosphere in the restaurant otherwise; it was quite empty too. But because of that, we probably got our food quickly every round, so that was fine!

They have a lovely interior. Full of pink. I think the most important thing in all you can eat is the waiting time. We didn't wait at all. It was Saturday dinner time when we visited, and there were like 5 more tables but we got our food in order as soon as we pressed order button. Very convenient to order since they give a small iPad so we can order whenever we want to. There was no minimum time needed to wait in between orders. We had 2 hours of time to eat, but we finished out 4 rounds of food in just over an hour because the food came immediately. The fastest all you can eat place I have experienced. The food itself is very good, the sauces tastes like real Chinese sauce, some very hot, and some sauces i felt familiar from what I ate in Korea. They have a cool display, they give a cool boat smoking effect thing with the first round of sushi. Sushi were better than average, the material inside they use was very various. Not a boring sushi. We didn't choose deluxe since classic still has many options to choose, especially they have a lot of meat (beef, lamb, chicken, shrimp,..) dishes were available with just the classic one. I recommend it, would come here with a friend (if I had). There was a lot of moms coming here with young kids, and unfortunately one of the table with a little kid was very loud, screaming. But it is okay.

You pay here per (!) sushi item for the delivery packaging. I refuse to pay extra per nigiri for packaging. Especially since you already pay for delivery and also for the extra costs Mesi pays to Thuisbezorgd to be listed on this site. Approximately + 10 / 15% in costs. So, plus 5 cents PER item.

Mesi sushi is a very nice and warm place. It is the greatest sushi place i tasted in Eindhoven. It is Hallal and had lots of options. The personell is nice, food comes fast. Great experience overall.

I ate here a week ago. The food took a very long time, and because of that, you can't order much. Very expensive for what you get.

All-you-can-eat dinner. We ordered several times, but nothing came to our table. When we finally asked the waiter where it was, it turned out the receipts hadn't been printed. Because the restaurant operates on a time-based system, we only received one round of food in the first hour and a half. We only received an "apology" but no proper solution. In the end, we were only able to order two rounds of food in two hours, even though we would have liked more. We find this absolutely disgraceful. I literally ate five single pieces of sushi for €50 per person, and my girlfriend did the same.

Delicious food, lots of choices. However, it took almost 45 minutes to get our first round of sushi. It also got very cold in the restaurant towards the end of the evening. Otherwise, the staff was friendly.

I think it’s overrated, the food was average and the service was not the best. It was our first time so we asked the waitress to explain, she said 2 sentences and one of them was to ask which price point we wanted. She didn’t tell us about the time limits nor the fact that we had 3 desserts per person which sucked because we got many ice-creams in the beginning, when we wanted to order the other deserts the limit was over… When we asked the staff she just did 🤷🏽‍♀️ and said nothing she can do. Shout out to the cute ice cubes though.

We chose a 6 p.m. delivery time. They called to ask if it could be 15-30 minutes earlier. No problem. Ultimately, the food was delivered at 5 p.m., which is really frustrating when your guests arrive an hour late. Despite the call, I was unfortunately not satisfied with the delivery. The quality of the sushi, however, was very good.

Fan-tas-tic. By far one of the best all-you-can-eat restaurants I've ever eaten at. This is how high-quality sushi and teppan yaki should taste. Fresh ingredients, beautiful rolls, delicious flavors. Definitely not your average sushi joint. A big plus: no disposable wooden chopsticks!! Just regular cutlery, so I think that speaks volumes about the quality. You definitely have two regular customers! Only point for improvement: the staff is very rigid and doesn't seem particularly restaurant-oriented. They barely smile and look very stern. This could be improved for the overall customer experience. It's often very cold in winter and very hot in summer.

My girlfriend and I both got sick, and it all took so long. The door didn't feel good either... unfortunately, I got food poisoning. The service was excellent!

I used to love Mesi Sushi a lot. I used to feel they are one of the most under-rated restaurants in Eindhoven. But on January 1st, I and my wife had quite an abysmal experience there… We went there at 6 pm for dinner… The server lady was not suited for serving food at all. She was almost throwing food at our table while putting it down. Her communication tone was also not nice. We ordered the sashimi platter during the first round and they served it after 1 hour and 20 minutes. Same goes for lots of other dishes. It could be due to being understaffed during the first day of the year, but their lack of humility while serving food would never make one feel good about the delay, I assume. The quality of food as well, didn’t seem to be as good as it used to be. Overall, had a really poor experience there. I used to love this place, but I would be skipping this place going forward.

Good quality food and fast service. I saw some staff members wearing coats inside. I also kept my coat on for a long time because it was very cold in the restaurant. Hence the 3 stars for atmosphere and 4 stars overall.

The worst experience we had with my friends in Eimdhoven. We waited more than 40 minutes. Besides I was there to just taste one piece of sushi from my friends, but they said if you taste from your friends, you ll also need to pay. They are literally aiming to steal from people instead of serving.

I ate here yesterday and was very surprised by the food; it's definitely one of the better all-you-can-eat restaurants. The mini poké bowls are especially recommended. It's a clean and atmospheric restaurant, and the service was excellent.

Had the all-you-can-eat deluxe on Saturday night — 2 hours with four dishes per round and plenty of great options to choose from. The food quality was really good, and everything we tried was tasty! Highlights for me were the grilled beef, matcha ice cream, strawberry pudding, and mixed sashimi — all absolutely delightful. 🍣🍨 The table next to us was a big Dutch group celebrating a birthday — the dining vibe was lively and fun. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and satisfying dining experience!

The food, the speed, and the service were absolutely excellent. Not a shack like many all-you-can-eat restaurants, but small and organized, and above all, we were able to hear each other. Only the waitress wasn't having a great evening? When we reviewed a dish, we were met with a grunt and a curt response. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again!

A truly terrible experience. My daughter had gone there for dinner, and I picked her up after two hours. I sat down at their table and ordered a drink on my iPad, but the staff immediately gave me a nasty look because they thought I was going to sit there and order, which wasn't true at all! A large group of them were sitting behind the counter, chatting in Chinese and constantly looking at us. Then they came over and got angry because I was there. A very unfriendly person, definitely not going back. It was the first time, but it was the last time. For so much money, and you get this crap!

Went to celebrate the first day as employee of my wife , we planned to have a nice dinner and we thought mesi could be a nice choice . We glstwp inside and noone came to welcome us, everyone was just sitting playing with phone. But this could be still ok, even a sign of very bad service, then we got the table aside the fan , many flies was inside, just flying everywhere even on the sticks and mice en place plates on the tables, even on my sticks and on the sushi we ordered. After that I went to ask if there was a solution at this , maybe closing the doors or using more fans or using an ac , and again everyone was sitting and focused on them own phones, food we ordered didn’t even came at the table, just a few sushis . So , just asked to pay my bill and leave that place . Those kinda places should be closed forever, anyway they won’t see my and my wife face anymore. Bad bad very bad

Hey, this was a successful sushi night! I've tried most of the AYCE sushi places in Eindhoven now, and this is definitely a new favorite! Even though it was quiet, the staff seemed busy and distracted.

I regularly get sushi here to eat at work later. The quality is always top-notch, everything tastes fresh, and the prices are very reasonable! I've never had to wait for my order; it's always ready and waiting.

Second time eating here. The first time was fine. The second time was disappointing. The staff doesn't speak Dutch or English. €4 for a can of drink... when I ask for crème brûlée, they tell me it's not available. I'm already paying top dollar, so what's the point of an extra dessert?

Incompetent service and cheap ownership. They’re stingy with basics like soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. They don’t even include ginger or wasabi with your sushi order. I’ve eaten sushi all over the world and never seen this. Spent over €65 and didn’t get a single packet of ginger or wasabi. Ridiculous.

Mesi Sushi is a really nice place if you like good sushi and a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully and modernly decorated, but at the same time feels warm and cozy. You are welcomed in a friendly manner and the staff really does their best to give you a pleasant experience. The service was smooth and everything was served neatly and with attention. What I especially appreciate is that the service is really customer-oriented, friendly, attentive and always willing to think along. The food itself was great. The sushi was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The poké bowls are also recommended: richly filled, fresh and well balanced. You notice that they work with quality and care. All in all a very positive experience. Good atmosphere, delicious food and great service. I will definitely come back here more often!

Terribly antisocial. We had booked a package for 2 hours of sushi. We arrived fifteen minutes later because of the train. Upon arrival it was reported that the time we were late will be deducted from our time because they need the table again exactly 2 hours after the time of the reservation. You cannot do this in the hospitality sector. In addition, it is strange that if you book a package of 2 hours, you have to leave the table after exactly 2 hours. No style.

Nice meal! And I think they did something with the reviews regarding the service. We were served very friendly by two ladies. However, the floor was very sticky and the toilet was not very clean. We will definitely come back here again

Ordered very late to pick up, neatly arranged. And as always (order from mesi sushi more often) very tasty. Food was prepared quickly, everything neatly packaged. The staff was also very friendly and correct both on the phone and in the store. Inside it also looked very nice and clean.

The food was fine, including the sushi. Fresh but a bit on the mild side in taste. Unfortunately we were not welcomed as warmly as it should be in a restaurant, the service spoke very softly and with little friendliness. The food options on the site seem very extensive, but once you have ordered it is not very diverse. They also don't put the smoke in the sushi boat after the 1st round. The wait staff just walked around in a jogging suit with the jacket on. You could clearly see that this is not a high school for the employees. Very unfortunate..

Never eaten at such a bad restaurant before. Service was also very bad, for a Saturday evening only 1 person was serving. It also took a long time before we got everything, especially the drinks. People eventually started getting their own drinks. Several people were complaining. It was just really bad, I don't recommend this restaurant. Wasted money!

Girl serving was fine. But to To have 1 person serve the entire restaurant on a Saturday is really a lot and very little. Food came quickly, but we had to wait a very long time for drinks every time. A chicken skewer was minced chicken on a stick and had no taste at all. Shrimp skewers are white shrimp with a dash of garlic sauce. We waited 30 minutes for the desserts and finally paid without eating any dessert.

Sushi is delicious. It is prepared with good quality ingredients and is also halal. The other dishes were also great. The beef sushi roll was quite dry, but the rest was great. For an all you can eat restaurant they have great quality sushi. Presentation of the sushi was extremely good! Service is good too! The atmosphere is nice, but it is a small restaurant. Finally, the price is also reasonable. It's about €40 - €45 per person. I will definitely come back here again!

Service was really crap. Never received such bad service before. The food was served completely differently than usual. No sauce on the sushi, no smoke in the boat. Food that was ordered was not delivered. I also asked if the food was halal. And the answer was: for one person it is halal for another it is not. So I doubt it. If you come to eat here, think twice first. Because what you see is not what you get. A waste for your money. At least never again for us.

Mesi Sushi in Eindhoven offers an experience with limited/reasonable choice and friendly service. Although the atmosphere could be a bit more cozy and the sushi is sometimes a bit mild in taste, the dishes are generally well prepared. An option for a relaxed and quick sushi dinner, with attentive service. The "wasabi" was really bad. This is more like a slightly spicy spread of extremely whipped horseradish. Shame. Overall not a bad sushi place, but I can't give it more than 3 stars.

Best Pokébowl in the area and always delivered super fast! The chicken, shrimp and salmon variant are all very tasty.

Made a reservation via Google Maps, but apparently that doesn't make it to the restaurant. We were allowed to sit down. Previously asked what Vetsin E621 might contain. Several waiters went over it. I think the spices on the lamb skewer contained 621. One waiter came to warn that the soup probably contained Vetsin. For the first time in a long time I had an all you can eat here for €69/2 people. You don't get a large boat with steaming CO2 and 4x4 sushi, but a smaller one with 2x3 sushi+2+1+salmon rose. You can order ice cream or crème brulee for 3/person. About booking via maps: I opted for age verification by selfie. Reservation appears twice in my (not Google) agenda, once as Mesi Sushi and once as Mesi sushi. Both for one hour. But more common is (almost) 2 hours.

The waiter rudely pushed us to order 'all you can eat' while we wanted to look at the menu first. She kept insisting that ordering 'al a carte' was too expensive. This made the atmosphere very unpleasant regardless of how tasty the sushi was.

The food was very good and regarding the quality and presentation of the dishes I have nothing bad to say but for the price paid (approximately €34) we expected a lot more variety. The portions are very small and in each batch you can only order 8 dishes, and between batches you have to wait about 5-10 minutes (taking into account that the portions are small, many times we had finished the food and had to wait to order again, which ends up making the food a bit heavy). The service is very friendly and the decoration is beautiful. They serve ice in the drink in the shape of a bear (adorable). The sesame ice cream was amazing.

This is the best Japanese food I have ever eaten in the Netherlands❤️❤️ The sushi here is all genuine. The ice cubes are very cute (rose + bear), and the sushi also uses a sushi boat, which shows the store's care. As an Asian, it’s really satisfying to be able to eat food like this here. Delicious sushi. The two of us were here on the day after Valentine's Day. The food was of high quality and the service was also good and fast. There was even a polar bear ice cube in my drinking glass, very nice!
