I visited for the second time after a break of about two years, and the quality has deteriorated significantly. For my meal, I had a mixed platter featuring three different types of meat. The chicken had faint grill marks but tasted extremely burnt. The ribs were very tough and difficult to eat. The only tasty item was the chorizo. My partner had tacos and was happy with them. The restaurant itself looks very old and worn-out. Accessing the restroom was also very difficult; it was located in the basement and could only be reached via a very steep, narrow spiral staircase. It is easy to understand why the restaurant doesn't get many customers, despite being in such a prime location.

The food was good, but not worth the price. The location, especially the outdoor area, is nice. There's a good view of the canal and the train station, but the bored-looking service, the small portion sizes with only average taste, and on top of that, the exorbitant prices make you want to walk a few meters further and find something else. Only recommended with serious reservations.

Probably the worst restaurant experience I have had in my entire life. The rock solid calamari with a side of unappetizing potatoes wedges and stale salad were far from acceptable. My table ordered a few other dishes that were equally disappointing. The only reason to go there would be if you had no other option. 3 star Atmosphere because the outside area is decent for watching boats. 0/5 would not recommend to anyone.

Begging you not to go. The servers won’t look at you and we waited 40 minutes for our breakfast. Please please don’t go. The location is good and therefore there are lots of people on the terrace. Good is average at best.

I had no idea anyone could prepare fish and chips so poorly. The dish was extremely dry and lacked flavor, with a stale texture.

The food was mediocre and tasted like a ready-made meal. We ended up there by chance, as other restaurants in the area were already closed. The two servers didn't seem to have any passion for their work. We did, however, leave full. The location by the bridge is very nice if you sit outside.

A divine atmosphere! Very close to the central station, the service is truly impeccable. Pamela served us—absolutely wonderful! We had some wings and a mixed grill! (See the photos). We had a fantastic time! A magnificent dinner for my wife's birthday.

Great outdoor space with really good canal views. It turned a bit cold so we asked to go inside which was no trouble. Food was really good (we both had beef tacos), and the beer was good too. I would highly recommend it.

Delicious breakfast sandwich, the bacon and cheese toast is highly recommended! Thanks to our friend from Equatorial Guinea. Oh, and the coffee with milk was great too. And the atmosphere is lovely; sit outside by the canal.

They have a good selection of drinks and decent prices but the food was disappointing and obviously cooked from frozen. We waited about 45 minutes even though it was very quiet just for the burritos to be tasteless and the same with the burger. The chips were also obviously frozen - no wonder it took ages to prep.

Spaniards, run from this place! They serve bagged nachos and overpriced Mercadona sauces. They have a dish called Paella Valenciana, and it has shrimp and peas. Nothing more to add. Amunt Valenciana!

When we informed the staff, there was no apology and no understanding. Then we were asked why we only mentioned it now. Are customers expected to inspect every dish for hairs before eating? The comment that we could "keep looking for more hairs together" was the final straw. A 20% discount on overpriced and mediocre food is simply a joke. Unhygienic, unprofessional and extremely customer-unfriendly. The food was disappointing, but the way our complaint was handled was even worse. We will definitely not return and cannot recommend this restaurant at all. In our opinion, it had very little to do with authentic Mexican food. Spanish: Absolutely deceiving and not recommendable. The spareribs was 18,50 eur on the manu and we got charged 26 euros. No tissues with the spareribs. I asked for a Heineken, and the staff said yes, and then gave me a Belgian draft beer. No dipping to the fries. Just not worth it

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. They have special deals, one of them is BBQ rib with fries and salad. Server was friendly and attentive, she kindly changed the fries to rice per our request. Both ribs and Mexican salad were flavorful. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. The food was simply inedible. The omelet was so drenched in oil that it almost overshadowed the burnt taste of the "fresh" vegetables inside. The toasties we also ordered were burnt and bone dry. The service was almost as bad as the food. After we ordered, the waitress only returned to serve the food. After that, no one came back – even paying the bill was difficult and only happened after asking several times. The poor service couldn't have been due to high demand; the restaurant was practically empty, and the four employees (?) had more than enough time – in fact, they had plenty of time to loudly mock us and the fact that we had wandered in there. Overall, I can't understand the positive reviews. Perhaps the chef was having an off day, or the dinner service is significantly better, but our experience certainly doesn't deserve more than one star.

It was a surprise to meet Oscar, a guy from Lanzarote. They treated us really well.

We stumbled into Guadalupe restaurant with all our luggage on a cold, wet afternoon after I realized I’d left my phone in the back of an Uber on the way to catch a train! We needed to calm down and think clearly about how to retrieve it. The staff were so kind and helpful as we ordered food and drinks while making phone calls and sending messages to Uber. Good news is I got my phone back. A big thank you to the kind Uber driver and the wonderful staff at this restaurant! The people of the Netherlands are the best! ❤️

The only good thing was the food. Its crazy the fact that i ordered tap warer and they refused to serve it. After that i asked for a normal water and they arrived with a 0.2 L water that i had to pay 3.50€. DONT GO THERE FOR THE SERVICE BUT THE FOOD IS EXCELENT. I ONLY GIVE 3 STARS INSTEAD OF 2 BECAUSE OF THE FOOD

The location is good, but unfortunately the service was very slow - we waited about 45 minutes. In the end, our starter was forgotten and the main courses were brought out instead. There were extra items on the bill that we could have paid for if we hadn’t been attentive. We didn’t receive any apology - only the waiter saying, “I knew about this issue.” That raises the question: why was the incorrect bill given to us in the first place? The food was average, nothing special. The tuna salad didn’t seem very fresh, the meat was not cooked to medium as requested and lacked flavor. The burger and fries were good. What was especially disappointing was seeing meat on the kitchen floor - it was impossible not to notice it on the way to the restroom. The restroom was very dirty. Very. Overall, we didn’t enjoy the experience and wouldn’t come back.

Good to very good food, cheap prices, but you pay for the Amsterdam name. The only bad thing is that some friends of mine went there and said they saw a huge rat walking around in the shop. While I used to go there all the time, I think about it a lot now.
