This place is amazing, 5 stars 😍😍 The waitress with the long brunette ponytail served me a guinness on rocks and made me feel all warm in my heart. The other brunette waiter with the mustache and wolf t shirt had an aura over the 🔝 and made me feel all fuzzy inside. The connemars with ginger beer is really nice. Show them some love people!

Incredibly bad service, and on top of that, the food is way too expensive for what you get.

So nice, good Irish Breakfast in Utrecht! On Sundays it can be noisy in some parts when F1 is being broadcast, but probably fun if you like that.

There was a red-haired woman who was not nice to us. We had found a piece of fabric on the sofa and then torn it into small pieces. The piece of fabric was already loose and would have been thrown away without us. On top of that, she became unfriendly and angry. We had to leave.

I have never eaten here, but it has been a regular spot for drinking beer for years. It is quite noisy and very hot inside, though. The beer is reasonably priced and there is plenty of Guinness (except during the weekend, but we forgive them for that). By the way, it is also a really nice place to celebrate your birthday! They have a sort of small room inside around the corner that you can reserve for private parties; I believe they just require a minimum turnover guarantee for that.

We were surprised by live music, how nice. He could sing well. A bit loud though. The music, not him. Played a game but it wasn't good. Has nothing to do with the bar otherwise, just a fun anecdote. We drank at 4 gigs.

What you can expect from an Irish pub. Plenty of beer to choose from and good food. It was a bit of a shame, though, that the TV connection dropped occasionally, causing us to miss two goals. Expect drunken students from time to time, but that adds to the atmosphere.

Our go-to pub when we want to watch rugby somewhere centrally in the country.

The manager was physically aggressive with my friend. He dragged him outside and said "I wish I could slap you". I could not believe what he was saying. Never in my whole life have a seen someone treat another person so badly. He then turned to us and pretended like everything was fine. We had a really fun night but this whole experience left a bad taste.

What a shame. We order a Guinness to play a game of Split the G, and we get an Ohara glass. Who comes up with that when you order Guinness...

I visited this bar to watch a match and didn’t have a good experience. The person working behind the bar was very kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, another staff member who was assisting behaved very differently. At around 5:00 yesterday, I briefly stepped outside with a glass containing a non-alcoholic beer. I completely understand that drinks may not be allowed outside, and I have no issue with that rule. However, the way it was handled was unacceptable. The staff member approached me, grabbed the glass from my hand abruptly, and told me this wasn’t allowed, in a very rude and patronizing manner. This could have easily been addressed in a respectful way by simply explaining the rule. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessary and unpleasant. I did express how this made me feel at the moment, and then decided to leave. I will not come back!

I just love this bar, it's one of the few I know that can serve a proper Guiness. Your typical Irish Bar, if you like that then this is the place for you.

We came in a hurry as a last resort option. Too our surprise this Irish pub/restaurant had delicious food. And a great service. And omg I’ll come back again just to eat some more of the Irish coffee brownie’s.

Arrived here asking if we could watch Formula 1 and get something to eat (at 7:00 PM). Yes, certainly after the football match... nothing else. Ordering? Apparently at the bar (not indicated anywhere). Really no problem ordering at the bar, but then just indicate that! Eventually a few minutes later, after the football match it got a bit quieter, so we waited for the rush to pass to order food (7:01 PM) the kitchen is closed at 7:00 PM! Whatttt, how is that even possible. You knew we were coming to eat, didn't think it was necessary at all to let us know that the kitchen was about to close, didn't put anything like that on the menu anywhere, and that one minute, shame on you! Absolutely no hospitality here, definitely not recommended.

Service was very bad on King's Night: my friends and I (a group of 3) were let inside, then ordered 3 beers for €25.50, which is already extremely expensive, and then after literally 3 minutes our beer was taken away without any reason.

I went here with a social deal, and it was a success. It's a large pub with plenty of places to sit or relax at the bar. It feels like being in Ireland, very cozy. We were immediately shown to a seat, but it took a while before we could order a drink. The food was excellent, an extra highlight being the cherry Bakewell tart. It had a fun little dumbwaiter system with a light. The only thing I didn't like was that it took a very long time for each course to arrive. At least half an hour between each course. It wasn't just us, but we heard others complaining as well. The service was friendly, and I'll definitely be back when I have more time for a two-hour dinner.

I bought vouchers for 10 people through Social Deals, which the store offers. On-site, they refused to accept them without explanation. That's simply a rip-off. In response to your replies, I can only say that I speak both English and Dutch fluently and offered both languages. Despite the appalling treatment, we even stayed and had three rounds of drinks. We were treated very rudely.

Grand location with good staff and a good vibe. Brilliant spot for sports. Plenty of screens. They'll show anything under the sun from F1 to Darts. Good aul spot overall.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. We were very disappointed with the food. I had a spice bag, which was supposed to contain carrots, parsnips, and bell peppers, but it was a bag of overly seasoned fries with a half schnitzel cut into pieces. More of a snack than a main course and definitely not worth it. It's better to stick to the drinks here.

Guinness is subpar. Snacks are nonexistent. After a pleasant evening, we were chased out of the tent because they were closing, had to drink our beers, and were pushed away. A total shitshow.

We had a super fun Christmas get-together here with our team. Great food, great atmosphere, and tasty beers.

It was very busy, but cozy. There was a singer with a band, which made it enjoyable. Sports were on the TV. At one point, it was a bit of a fight for a spot because there was little space.

We had a three-course dinner here through a Social Deal. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly. We were seated at a very spacious table; I think it could easily fit eight people. Personally, I liked that, but a smaller table would have been more inviting. All the dishes were delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Best Irish Pub in Utrecht (and surrounding areas!) For years, I've loved coming here with friends for a large pint of Guinness, often while enjoying a game of football on one of the many screens. It's also a great place to be during the Six Nations or the Super Bowl. A true Irish pub where you can enjoy a drink with friends. The staff is always friendly and helpful!

Noisy, tasty beer, friendly staff. Small hall. We couldn't try anything from food, because when you come to the bar you want to see Irish stew with pieces of vegetables and meat, or Sheppard pie with minced meat and carrots, wings, or snacks, according to the bar. There is Guinness stew, which should be cooked in beer, but depending on the establishment, there is a chance that the cook will not be able to evaporate the alcohol and remove the bitterness. Instead, there is falafel, nachos, etc.

Rugby, Guinness and Burgers, what more can I say. I would definitely recommend this place if you like any of those!

We only came to watch the Dutch soccer Cup final. No sound from the television. Room behind us had a television and sound but we were not allowed to watch or lisson. Not even the interviews after the match. Nobody was bothered but the owner (huge guy but not in length) just did not wanted it. I will never come there again. No service or hospitality at all.

Ambiance is great. Food is fine. Staff can be unfriendly. Especially the ginger woman was really unfriendly, impatient and downright mean. Hope the other staff will speak to her about this because it scares off customers. Also heard it from others.

I order half a Leo weizen. I get it in a normal glass. Then I pour it into a normal weizen glass. It's not even half a liter. In the photo I didn't drink anything from it, that's how I got it in the other glass. Cancer store👎👎
