Miller Time Café - Eindhoven in Centrum

Last Friday, four of my friends and I were turned away from the front door. The reason was that our group of five young men was too large. See the security guard's photos, as this is the frikandel we're referring to. We eventually moved on to other cafes where the security guards were more respectable, and we still had a pleasant evening. If you're looking for a club without discriminatory selection, I strongly advise against Plek!

We weren't allowed in due to age discrimination, even though we'd been there two hours earlier. Very nice service, but an impossible doorman.

The bouncers are incredibly dirty little boys. Abuse is their trademark. Choked and beaten for accidentally dropping a drink. They deserve to be locked up.

The bouncers at the door are real fighters. My nephew (16) was assaulted there during Carnival because he wouldn't let in. They lured him in with the story, "Your friends are calling you," and then, in the opening scene, they grabbed him by the neck, pushed him up, and hit him, leaving marks on his neck. We even have photos of it! Very cowardly! This boy is 16! Denying him access is fine, but you definitely leave a minor alone! Before this incident, he was also hit by a small, burly bouncer. After complaining to his parents via app, they received no response! Now they're going to report it; they've had their chance to take action.

It's scandalous how the security guards treat children and young adults here. They judge who's allowed in based on appearance, and if you ask why you're being refused, you get a beating (deliberately out of sight of cameras, police, or anyone else). Security guards should be controlling the escalation, but at this place, they're the aggressors. The worst part is that the cafe management knows about this and does nothing about it (see the reviews from the past three years). In my opinion, that makes them partly responsible. Parents, warn your children, and slightly older children, pay attention to what's happening here and go next door. A report has been filed.

The reception was absolutely terrible. I wasn't even allowed to get my drink (which I had paid for). No explanation, no compensation.

I was refused entry by security and pushed out of the line. I tried to reason with them afterward, but they were completely incompetent. All they showed was immaturity and cockiness, and their only solution was to resort to violence and physical contact. They love to cause a scene. I repeatedly asked why I was refused entry and tried to calmly reason with them, but to no avail. Their security was extremely unprofessional, and I've never experienced anything like this before. If you read my review, Miller Time Cafe is DEFINITELY not recommended. There are much nicer clubs in Stratumseind ​​where you'll be treated normally. Most reviews also address the security at this place.

Unfortunately, after many good moments, I also experienced a very negative moment. When a fellow student of mine got into a discussion that quickly turned into a fight, I tried with all my might to keep the two apart. I am then dragged out of the tent by 2 guards (it is completely understandable that at that moment they do not see who exactly did what, but from the moment I was grabbed I fully cooperated physically) yet I was thrown against the wall with serious force by and from the guards. From the moment the guard grabbed me, I cooperated in getting out. And then (hopefully) have a quiet conversation there. This was not possible at all, disproportionate force was used to get me out of the tent, even though I was completely innocent in this situation. I plan to file a report tomorrow. The manager of the Miller assured me that if I made a problem, he would call and I would be arrested immediately. At that point I wisely went home. In the end I am sitting here (unjustly) with a big bump and a cut on my head. As far as I am concerned, a very bad experience that outweighs all other good experiences.

Doormen do not let us in because of our origins. Shame. In any case, they won't see us here again.

Aggressive security bouncers pushed me out for no reason and didn't even let me take my jacket. I politely insisted to them about my jacket for nothing. We will not return.

very poor security, had only been in the club for 10 minutes and was grabbed by the neck because I was wearing sunglasses which was apparently not allowed, then pushed out of the club without warning! Very sad

I got violently, without any prior warning, pushed out of the place because I was wearing my bag wrong. No chance of talking to the small security guy who obviously had to compensate for something. But other then that nice place I’ll never come again:) Just read the other comments and you’ll know! Let’s just say a contract with one of the biggest associations is not gonna happen :)

Aggressive doormen! Are aggressive, throw your pints off your table. If you say anything about it they will send you out. You will never see me and my 30 "friends" there again!

Ik en mijn groep hadden net zoals altijd een gezellige avond bij jullie. Ik word zonder enige uitleg bij mijn arm gegrepen. Ik vraag nog netjes: “ik weet niet wat er mis is gegaan, ik wil het netjes met jullie oplossen.” Jullie bewaking had beloofd dat ik mijn jas mocht pakken en dat we er buiten over zouden praten. Vervolgens, waren wij buiten en zei de bewaking gelijk tegen zijn collega’s: “uit. uit”. Vervolgens werd ik hard buitengezet, terwijl mij beloofd was dat ik rustig mijn jas etc kon pakken en dat we het buiten uit zouden praten. Ik werkte netjes mee. Ik wou nog netjes met de uitsmijter een woordje doen. Ik vroeg alleen of ik mijn jas nog kon pakken omdat jullie dat belooft hadden. Daarna zij hij dat ik maar op moest flikkeren. Ik vond millertime echt de tofste club van heel stratumseind maar, ik blijf voortaan liever thuis na deze ervaring.

Feestcafé voor jongeren. Leeftijd 18 tot 25 jaar. Prima sfeer. Snel bediend aan de bar. Feest muziek, après ski en top 40.

Veel te druk en agressieve mensen. In de wachtrij werden mensen die de uit smijter kende voor gelaten

Altijd een gezellige plek voor een drankje, vaak ook verenigingen aanwezig

Leuke kroeg, goede muziek. Vroeg alleen om wat water uit de kraan en kreeg toen het antwoord dat ik het maar uit moest zoeken omdat ze anders nooit winst zouden maken. Beetje jammer, aangezien water gratis zou moeten zijn volgens de wet.

Prima tent, Arnold is een beste uitsmijter!

Leuke muziek en een goede sfeer. Prima kroeg om te stappen met een groep vrienden.

Nice bar at stratum. Jupiler beer is well priced and you get bottles. They also have nice discounts if you come early in the evening (before 12 most of the times).
