Delicious food and great service.

Went to Moeke's yesterday.. Half of the terrace closed off... not welcome inside without a reservation.. But there were only two guests inside..? On that small part of the terrace.. you had to stand in line... to be let in.. Not enough staff?? Or wearing shoes that are too big..

Very nice, cozy restaurant in a beautiful location. Had a good meal and friendly service.

Or go for a drink later in the evening. Highly recommended. They also have bock beer and more than one choice. Dogs are allowed. Menu for young and old.

Beautiful location, had a delicious lunch. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere.

The staff were talking for too long with the customers who were also sitting on the terrace, after I had already called out for the bill once. Still happily continuing the conversation, now I missed the ferry and have to drive around for half an hour.

The food was delicious, but there was far too little fries with it. The paper cone was only 1/3 full. It wasn't busy, but it often took quite a while before service came by. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite.

I came here during a nice summer day and we were be able to dine outside. They offer some nice beers ans German beers from the tap. As a starter I got the shrimp trio, I loved it and it was a good portion of food too! No fancy food for main, just three traditional chicken skewers with fries and peanut sauce. I loved it too! As it became colder in the evening we sat inside for another drink. The massive tables were a bit less cozy and personal. I finished with a Moeke's Banoffee which was alright, I definitely had much better! Overall a fine place to grab some food and some drinks!

It took a very long time before service arrived, and they charge €2.60 for just one small bowl of sauce without mentioning it anywhere.

We arrived here in the afternoon around lunchtime. There were already a number of people waiting ahead of us. We were served quickly and told that there would be a table for us in 15 minutes. We were able to wait comfortably at a picnic table and, in the meantime, get a nice glass of water for free. In the end, we didn't even wait 15 minutes and a table was already free. When taking our drinks order, we were kindly asked if we had had to wait long. The drinks, as well as the food, were served quickly despite the crowds. Additionally, the sandwiches were really delicious. All in all, another positive experience at Moeke. Good service, friendly staff, very clean restrooms, and good food! I definitely recommend this restaurant!

We've been here before, but inside. Today we had a table outside on the terrace. It was completely full, but there was still one table available. Nice and breezy, 33 degrees outside, so perfect. But the music was loud; people were trying to talk over it, so we could barely understand each other. A sound measurement app showed 70-80 dB. We asked if the music could be turned down a bit... that only worked for exactly one song. Unfortunately, we had already ordered, so we just waited. People who came after us received their ordered dishes earlier; we waited 20 minutes, and then we got our dishes. The food was okay, the croquette was a bit overcooked, but other dishes were fine. We were used to slightly better from previous visits. After dinner, we wanted to leave as quickly as possible because the music was loud again. We asked for the bill. No receipt, just a card reader and a stated amount. It was close, but we definitely won't be doing this again. A shame.....

About 15 people on the terrace, four staff members. Beautiful place. But a 15-minute wait for the order to be taken, and then another ten minutes, and it still wasn't ready. A waste of this beautiful spot. Left!

Beautiful location on the Lower Rhine. Delicious food and a good lunch menu. Orders are taken quickly, but delivery takes just a little too long. It is a shame that a waitress didn't understand that we wanted a clean table. The mess left by the previous guest remained, and only after explicitly asking was a cloth partially wiped over the table. That was unfortunate.

Nice restaurant, good atmosphere, simple and tasty food. Beautiful terrace!

We came in to get something to eat, were shown to a (still dirty) table, and then completely ignored for half an hour. The table was not cleared, no pre-dinner drink, no menu, nothing. The guests around us were served extensively, while we seemed invisible. We spoke to a waiter, who said he would go get a menu but just continued with the other tables. So we just got up and went to the Koning van Denemarken, where the service and the food were amazing.

It was busy at lunchtime, but everything went very smoothly. Super professional and friendly staff. Delicious food! And a nice spot by the water.

We were a group of 10 people. The food took an incredibly long time; we took 3 hours for 3 courses due to the long wait times. Often, the wrong drinks or food were brought to our table. The service was friendly but seemed quite annoyed every time at the table. I understand that it can be chaotic, but if we have to wait quite a long time all the time, that does get annoying. The food itself was fine; we asked for the steak medium but received it rare, and not all dishes were served at once, which was a bit annoying. The service was otherwise friendly, but it felt like they didn't really know what they were talking about; there was no structure.

Friendly staff. Tasty food. But I do have a complaint. I ordered the Moscow Mule twice; the first time the cup was half full, the second time even less. A bit of a shame for €9.50 each.

You have just arrived and are allowed to choose a spot on the terrace by the waitress, only to have another waitress sent away after you have already taken your seat, because she is going to close off that section. Next, she wants to seat us next to a noisy group of young people at a table for two, even though there are three of us. Rude and unfriendly! We just left, because that is not how you should treat customers.

Neat. Something was not right with our meal. We pointed it out and it was resolved. So, neat.

They forgot about us, so the main course never arrived. The food wasn't special. We were treated like a number.

Easy parking, beautiful view of the Rhine. Outdoor terrace. Service friendly, but let us come inside and look at the menu first before asking what we want to drink. Good selection of beers and delicious fried fries with Asian chicken. Actually, there is one point that irritates me, but that is personal. The menu is super inconvenient.

Beautiful location, super friendly staff. Had a delicious flat white. Nice view of the Rhine and the ferry. Great location to start/end a bike or walking tour.

Great restaurant sitting by the Rhine, great friendly staff and delicious food

We went last Sunday for dinner with 5 people. We have been there regularly over the years and it is hard for me to say, but the quality and service are declining and are no longer what they used to be. We had the wrong dish (chef's special), but instead of teriyaki sauce, it was peanut sauce. We mentioned this and they thought it was a good suggestion. I offered to offer a drink, but it didn't occur to the "young" staff. No vegetables (a little cucumber with pickles). Sambuca afterwards, which was a mini glass comparable to what you get at other restaurants. The Irish Coffee contained virtually no whiskey, and after mentioning it, we did get an extra shot. We are really used to something different, but in my opinion, the company is getting too big and different standards are being applied, as evidenced by the tiny mini glass of Sambuca and the lack of vegetables and presentation of the food. My brother paid, but we won't be going back here for the time being. I hope you do something about this because we are hearing this more and more often.

We arrived early because of the heat; it opened 10 minutes late. The lady who served us shouted across the terrace instead of coming to our table. She also spoke in the first person as if she were the owner. It irritated us. It was also very pricey.

Good food, always busy but that shouldn't spoil the fun.

After a long, hot day, we were looking for a nice spot by the water to have drinks and a bite to eat. Upon arrival, to our surprise, the terrace was closed. Furthermore, it was even hotter inside than outside. We just left.

Today at 2:00 PM, we wanted to have lunch. There were people sitting both on the terrace and in the restaurant. They weren't taking new guests until 5:00 PM because of the heat. Very peculiar… And unprofessional. We eventually ended up at Piatto. One fantastic Italian restaurant less than 500 meters away from them. We had a delicious meal there, and the wait staff were hot too. They didn't complain but just took it easy. And everyone understands that! Apparently, it isn't that cool at Moeke's!

Had a delicious meal by the Rhine, friendly service, beautiful location.

Had a nice lunch of peanut soup, Egg Benedict, and stewed fries. The service was friendly. It's a shame that the children in the play area used half the restaurant to scream; we just moved to another table. Perhaps the staff could be a bit more attentive to that; some people just come in to eat quietly 😊

Focaccia carpaccio. A particularly meager collection of capers and pine nuts. No idea what kind of cheese was sprinkled over it. Tasted like nothing. Completely forgot the truffle mayonnaise. Asked for oil and balsamic vinegar. Got oil, but the balsamic vinegar had the consistency of and tasted like apple syrup. Quite impressive to make such a tasteless dish.

We came here in the afternoon around lunchtime for a quick drink during our bike ride. We decided to come back in the evening to eat as well because it looked so cozy and the dishes looked delicious. (We were staying at a hotel in Veenendaal but drove back in the evening to eat.) Nice menu with lots of choice! There are many games you can grab. So while we waited for our food, my daughter and I played two games together... no phones at the table. Lovely (except for taking the photo). Highly recommended. Even though it was busy, we were served well and quickly. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back. (The location is also great. Unfortunately, we weren't there during real outdoor seating weather, but otherwise, this is a perfect spot.)

Smooth place, nice food and drinks, running like clockwork. Yes, that was four years ago, but what a disgrace yesterday. Expensive shrimp croquettes that were inedible. Neither crunch nor taste. A complete shambles. The service was abysmal. Apparently, it was all too much for them. Unpleasantly noisy. If only we had gone to the Koning van Drnemarken.

Cozy, beautiful view over the water and ridge.

Great location, the staff are all nice, no grumpy Gen Z, very normal and just slightly different snacks. Highly recommended, seating both inside and outside. Our children entertained themselves with the games and the toys available.

Celebrated a fantastic birthday party, beautiful location for our group, the weather cooperated too allowing us to enjoy the upstairs terrace, a delicious hot and cold buffet with 51 guests, TOP-NOTCH, great service, and DELICIOUS food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We had a wonderful time; we were with a small child, but they didn't make a fuss about it. On the contrary, our little girl had a fantastic time. First we had a drink outside, and then we had a delicious meal inside. Compliments!! We had a fantastic time!

The terrace and the view were absolutely top-notch, but the lunch was really disappointing. It was possibly way too busy. Just ordered a fried egg and a toasted sandwich. You can't really go wrong with that, I'd say. The toasted sandwich was bone dry, the cheese completely hardened, and you had to look for the ham with a magnifying glass... such a shame. The fried egg was the same. Overcooked, cheese completely dry, and the yolks completely dry too. How do they manage that 🥴 A pity. I really should have complained at that moment and sent both dishes back. But yeah, it took so long before we got anything that I completely forgot. A pity.

Ugh, the food wasn't good. In hindsight, we should have said so (or rather, we should have said so). The fries were cold, the cheese on the croque monsieur was dried out and there was hardly any bacon, and the fried egg was cooked way too long—I think it was kept warm under something for too long.

Food… no idea! Waited half an hour on the terrace for service, who were standing around chatting and, not only that, ignored our table.. So got up and walked away.

A nice spot to stop in between. The flamkuchen carpaccio is back on the menu and is highly recommended. In the summer, there is a lovely terrace with, if you are lucky, a beautiful view of the river.

Beautiful place! Nicely set up. The pork tenderloin was a tad dry, and the steak didn't have much flavor. The hamburgers were a hit with the children. The service is friendly once seated at the table, but pays too little attention to people asking for food or waving. He also didn't understand why the adults wanted to eat their starters at the same time as the children's main courses. Unfortunately, waiting for food and drinks took a very long time, even though we arrived at 5:30 PM.

The music is very loud and we had to wait a long time for food. Also, they didn't really come around, and we often had to ask if we could have some more.

Had a delicious meal at a beautiful location: Moeke in Rhenen. By the water, a charming restaurant, with very pleasant service. A manager who has hospitality in her blood and passes that enthusiasm on to the young people who served us at the table. Lovely on the terrace at 12 o'clock.

Went for lunch today. A top location. Along the Rhine. Easily accessible, plenty of parking. The food was very good and the staff friendly. All in all, a reason to definitely come back.

We love coming here. Very friendly, attentive service. But what I find very disappointing is that no alcohol-free red wine is served. I have asked several times... but no, they won't do it. The staff has also brought it up once. Yesterday on the beautiful terrace, I heard the list of 0.0 beers again; there is a lot of choice in that.... Since most restaurants do serve 0.0 red wine by now, I find this really a shame. Surely a small bottle of Merlot that yields two glasses shouldn't be a problem?

Today we were on the terrace. It is beautifully situated. The first order (coffee and soft drinks) took fifteen minutes to arrive. That is why we ordered the lunch dishes early on. We waited an hour for these. Other tables also reported that it was very busy. The staff came across as calm and friendly. The quality of the dishes was fine. However, we found the waiting time to be extreme.

Good morning, I've tried this a few times now but it's not sending. Another .Bruch on Easter Sunday. Sorry, I found it extremely bad. Only the half-glass of soup was tasty. Then those dry rolls where you had to search for what was on them... Nothing special or tasty, pale rolls that tasted like nothing. And apparently more people felt the same way. Saw a lot going back and what remained, I had expected something tasty for that money. Price-quality ratio is very poor. Then you go to pay, are asked if it was to your liking so I say no, I can't do anything about this now. I understand, but you still ask me how it was. And then 8 euros for a glass of mimosa, he could have at least said he wouldn't charge for that. I was there in January with 14 people for lunch and I thought it was very good, that should be said too, we have lunch at your place quite often, always good. I could have handled that better this time too, sorry, but I find this very disappointing.

At Moeke aan de Nederrijn in Rhenen, it is very pleasant to sit on the outdoor terrace.

Such a beautiful location, and yet when the weather is nice, you are forced to sit crammed together inside. The staff is surly and absolutely not customer-friendly, so we just left. I will never come back here; what terrible service.

What an incredibly hopelessly prepared affair. Being turned away on Easter Monday at 4:00 PM while there is plenty of room. It was literally said, “we cannot provide the service and have to turn everyone away.” A disgrace to the hospitality industry in Rhenen.

Just a nice place to walk into for years. The food is very good and the staff consistently friendly.

Unfortunately we had a very dissapointing experience. Waited almost 45 min for just loaded fries and nachos. When we asked about it they said it was almost finished but after 10min we still didn't receive it. We then decided to cancel it. When we ask the waiter to cancel it he still went to check when he came back he said that he will cancel it which means that it wasn't even ready. We didn't even get a proper sorry.

Had a lovely lunch with my children today. The food was delicious and we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the congratulations for my son.

We went out for dinner at Moeke recently. It was really super busy, but luckily, there were nine of us sitting in a corner at a nice table in the back. Because of that, we were able to sit reasonably quietly, and it was quite cozy. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I had a steak (medium rare), but it was quite dry. That was a shame. And I wasn't the only one: several people at the table weren't really satisfied with their dish. What I also found odd: the Irish coffee was served with the whipped cream in a separate cup. That looked a bit strange. All in all, it was a pleasant evening thanks to the company, but I wouldn't be quick to go back for the food.

Back to the place where it all began. Had a delicious meal and drinks. Service was top-notch. Definitely recommended. Great value for money. We would love to come back again.

I waited for a while, but couldn't find any service. After about fifteen minutes, the waiter appeared. I thought, "Well, I'll be able to order something now," but no, he didn't take any orders. Another couple who had just come in were helped immediately. Perhaps a fluke, but it took too long for me. Pleasant atmosphere and location, but a bit cluttered and somewhat dated. The menu is unclear and confusing.
