Een gezellig restaurant in een oude boerderij. Een fantastische sfeer, erg vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Heerlijk eten, mooie porties en hele schappelijke prijzen. Graag weer als we weer in Nederland zijn.

Een paar keer per jaar ga ik met een drietal ex-collega's eten bij Montimar in Boekel. De allereerste keer dat ik er kwam was ik verbaasd over de prijzen. Ik kon niet geloven dat ze voor die prijs een prima diner konden serveren. Maar de prijzen bleken echt en het eten is voor die prijs echt goed. Altijd vriendelijk personeel. Als dit altijd zo blijft dan vermoed ik dat we hier nog jaren blijven terugkomen. Tip reserveer echt ruim van te voren, want anders loop je de kans teleurgesteld een ander restaurant moet zoek.

Cozy and good food for affordable prices

Excellent dinner with Italian-Spanish dishes revisited in a Dutch style. We tried the tartare, tapas, fillet and crème brulé. Excellent prices and the kindness and friendliness of the staff should be emphasized. Highly recommended!

In one word, great food and also for great prices... highly recommended!

Had dinner with 6 people. Prices are very favorable, but that is not at the expense of quality, appearance, friendliness of the staff or hygiene. Simply top food for the price of average food. Keep it up, Montimar! Reservations are recommended, they are already fully booked months in advance. We did not hold back and were ready for €40 per person.

We had a birthday boy and he got a spray candle on a beautifully decorated plate. Very thoughtful. Unfortunately I was too late to take a picture.

I don't know what happened, but the portions have been at least halved. A child's whitefish is only 5 by 2 cm, the spaghetti is half a portion, my whitefish was only half present under the skin. Too bad because we always loved coming here.

Don't ask how it is possible, but enjoy it. That could be the headline of every Montimar review. Hiske Versprille from de Volkskrant also didn't understand it when she went to eat at Montimar in 2020 and we are also amazed! Great food for a very reasonable price, where else does that happen? The food is not great, but it is good and fresh and amazing for the prices they charge. Normally people in the catering industry reason “they eat you poor, but drink you rich”; if not at Montimar… drinks are so reasonably priced too! Soft drinks and beer around €1.70; cavat as an aperitif…€3.55! So before you know it you're paying €100 for dinner for three. How is it possible? Good shopping, young (and therefore cheap) staff and the belief that a night out should not cost the world.

A pleasant restaurant, we sat at a somewhat cramped table with 15 people. It was extremely busy. Service and food were okay.

Restaurant Montimar in Boekel – A Top Experience! We recently enjoyed an evening at Restaurant Montimar in Boekel with a group of ten people. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and polite staff. The hospitality and service were excellent, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is well balanced and offers a wide choice of delicious dishes. Everyone in our group could effortlessly find something to their liking. The quality of the food was excellent, although a little more attention could be paid to the salad (scanty / monotonous) and the temperature of the hot dishes at the passage. Despite these minor areas for improvement, our experience at Montimar was perfect. The prices (including drinks) are also very attractive, which made the overall experience even better. We had a fantastic evening and would definitely like to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Recommended!

The price quality of this place is amazing vs the pricing. The dishes are prepared with fresh quality ingredients with care for a very affordable price. Recommend the seafood dishes, although the mixed meat was amazing too. Keep in mind tho, the desserts are quite big. The table service is also very quick and friendly. Highly recommend going there, if you are in the area.

I didn't like my dessert, I saw that there was some chewing gum under the table, the food also took a very long time to get to our table and the edges still had sauce from another meal.

We had a good meal at Montimar, it was tasty and the price and quality are certainly just good. If I would have charged an extra euro and then served real whipped cream with dessert, now whipped cream from the can would detract from the delicious food beforehand. Atmospheric restaurant in Boekel and a wonderfully enthusiastic team of employees. You can just go there.

Also visited Montimar Boekel! Friendly and smooth reception. Beautiful rural light furnishings. Nice thick napkins and tablecloths. Friendly staff. Food was delicious. You can order vegetables and fries for free, we didn't know these yet! Price again a windfall. Highly recommended, just like the other Montimar restaurants.

Management tries their best but they are not properly trained. Up to two! Occasionally people come to the table to clear the table while we are still eating. Extremely rude. Reason for us not to come back here again.

Excellent food for a very reasonable price.

Food is fine, especially considering the price. Wine also tasty, nice service. The acoustics inside are dramatic. A good conversation with more than 1 person is difficult. We took the coffee and tea home. That is why we have set the score to three stars. Hopefully they can adjust this again. We will come back in the summer for the outside terrace. That is highly recommended.
