Nice staff, fast service. When the restaurant is full, there is a lot of noise and it is difficult to hear each other. Food was good, unless you want vegetarian food. The Tapas Variadas consist of forest mushroom soup, fried mushrooms and a mushroom croquette. Great to eat, but Variadas might be a bit too far-fetched. The risotto was a joke. Drink prices are surprisingly low. Good espresso, fresh beer on tap and excellent wines. A little less noise, a little more vegetarian choice and we will definitely come back!

An excellent meal in a cozy atmosphere for a very good price with very attentive and friendly service! That sums it up, we had a very nice evening and a delicious meal! No negatives except that you have to know early enough to go here because you have to reserve far in advance, but that is not without reason and also says something :). Excellent food at great prices.

I had my birthday dinner here last night & my main issue is with a man who worked here, possibly a manager, who I don’t believe has any understanding of how to deliver proper hospitality and service. As a Black gay man, I am always quite vigilant about how me and my partner are treated compared to white customers as we have faced discrimination many times in the past. As Americans, we are much more used to what I would say is a higher bar for service given the tipping culture. Many restaurants especially in the Den Bosch area actually offer quite good service, but this place lost points for me on this front. This man I mentioned who works here was very cold and unkind, and it completely soured our impression of this place. Apart from him, the rest of the staff were just okay but could also use some hospitality training. The price point of the menu is really good and you can tell the quality of the ingredients is great, so maybe another location would be better. That being said, I will not return to this location again and seriously hope restaurant management take a hard look at the employees here to bring the service quality up to the standard a place like this should offer.

Where can you have a nice meal with four people for 140 euros, including 2 bottles of red wine and 3 rosé? Make sure you reserve in time because it is always busy. We wanted to make a reservation for 7 people before January 11, 2025, but unfortunately it was already full.

What a cozy place to have a delicious dinner and for old-fashioned prices! Price-quality ratio is above average. Sandwiches, starter, main course and dessert, including three wines and a few soft drinks (2 people) for around €85! Unbelievable!

You can enjoy delicious food here for a very good price-quality ratio. We spent about 35 euros for 3 courses with (alcoholic) drinks. A bottle of wine under 15 euros and a coffee under 1.50. Main course was very good and you can order extra fries. Relatively small parking lot, but you can park for free in the neighborhood. Reservations in advance are definitely recommended!

Had a delicious meal again this evening at Montimar in Hintham. Price/quality very good. Employees are neat, pleasant and not too formal. Sincere compliments to the management and employees for requesting the guests present to observe 2 minutes of silence at the stroke of 8 p.m. for Remembrance Day, which has an extra charge this year in connection with... the situation in Ukraine. Special experience that 2 minutes of silence in a restaurant. It is therefore a double feeling that we have the opportunity to eat out in our freedom. Had a nice meal here. The dishes are quite small, but that is why it is nice to have a starter, main course and dessert. When you enter it is like a chicken coop, so full and chattering. The acoustics are dramatic, but that's the only thing I don't like here. The food is great, despite the crowds it goes quickly. What really stands out is the friendliness of all the staff. Heerlijk gegeten, voor / hoofd en nagerecht, Tournedos was zo mals boter zacht! Echt heerlijk, we hadden dit niet verwacht omdat het allemaal redelijk goedkoop is. Maar we hebben echt genoten! Komen zeker terug. Service was goed, erg druk wel maar personeel deed het goed!

Toevallig een (lovend) artikel over gelezen. Dus hebben wij besloten het zelf eens uit te proberen. Het heeft onze stoutste verwachtingen overtroffen, Hou wel rekening dat u a. reserveert en b. genoeg tijd neemt om te parkeren, want dat is daar niet echt eenvoudig, maar het kan wel. Wat een fantastische zaak, goed en redelijk geprijsd, heel vriendelijk en uiterst beleefd personeel (waar vind je dat nog) en meer dan voldoende ruimte. Prettige en uitgebreide kaart met genoeg keuzes. Is zeker een concept dat mij zeer aanspreekt. Gerechten zeer verrassend van opdienen en smaak. Zeker de moeite waard, jammer dat ze alleen maar in Oost Brabant zitten!

Montimar is located in a beautiful white farmhouse with ample parking in the middle of Hintham. It's always busy. Reservations in time are recommended. The acoustics are not very good and therefore very noisy. The service does its utmost to provide everyone with food and drinks. The menu is surprisingly versatile and you can't go wrong with the prices. The food tasted good. Everything is a bit bland but the salt and pepper pot on the table helped. The closing cheese board was even excellent with no standard brie and such.

Delicious dinner tonight! The food came quickly, was nicely prepared and how they do it for that price compared to other restaurants is excellent. Definitely worth repeating! You have to book well in advance otherwise it will be full & at the same time that says and means something!

Bediening was goed, leuke jonge mensen. Eten was ronduit slecht. Risotto was rauw en flauw, asperge nog veel te rauw. Kip gerecht was ook zwaar onvoldoende. Zand in de sla op de Carpaccio. We kin er vaak geweest en ooit was het goed, maar nu niet meer…

Al lang van tevoren geboekt (aan te raden) en dat leverde een mooie plaats op in rustiek uitgerust restaurant. De wijnkaart maakte een ruime keuze mogelijk en de wijn die we vroegen en kregen (Nero d'avolo) smaakte uitstekend en was een prima begeleider van ons diner. Een mooi voorgerecht (o.a. diverse soorten vis) werd gevolgd door een uitstekend hoofdgerecht. De bediening was uitstekend en vriendelijk; kortom we waren weer blij dat we hier weer terugwaren.

A neat restaurant, spacious cloakroom and friendly welcome by hostess Lotte. Service at the table quite fast, but if you want a little more space and time you can simply indicate that. Menu surprising, fun dishes with a playful twist. Most of it tasted good (the downside was the wasabi mayonnaise - where the wasabi flavor was hard to find). Lotte explains everything down to the last detail, gives advice and is friendly. Dessert also delicious and refreshing (mango mess). All in all a good ambiance, friendly and attentive staff who are present and see you. It is almost incomprehensible that it is full here every night if you believe the stories, but it is also an affordable restaurant. Let's just say we will definitely come back.

Had a delicious meal at Montimar. Good food for the price and an extensive menu. Nicely decorated restaurant, very noisy but we were seated in a nice spot on the corner. We just didn't think the service was good. The ordered dishes arrived very quickly. But we waited 20 minutes for the first bread. We received an apology that it was too late. During the starter, someone from our party asked for some extra bread with his dish (which included bread) and waited 10+ minutes for this. Then the main courses arrived and one member of the group did not receive a main course, something had gone wrong with the order. Should take 5-6 minutes. After 15-20 minutes the person had not yet had his main course, very unpleasant and everyone had cold food. I started to say something about this, namely that the dish can be removed. Then they came to ask if we still wanted it, after all, it was already ready, but that didn't change our point. So we didn't have it. And we received no compensation for this or still had it “on the house”.

Went to eat here because of stories but found it very disappointing. Very noisy and food was nothing special. At home we discovered that they had also paid for some things twice.

Montimar delivers again! How they do it for this price is beyond me, but they do deliver! We were warmly welcomed, there were plenty of staff walking around so that we did not lack attention. The food was again of good quality, especially for the price you paid. It came quickly. It looked nice. We all had a great time again. The only thing I don't recommend is using this as a venue for a romantic dinner for two. It's busy. A bit noisy. Lots of incentives. But with a group it is highly recommended if you want to eat well for little money. Want good service. And also plenty of choice on the menu!
