Why does this business employ a child as a delivery driver? That doesn't seem right, especially not on a scooter that you're not allowed to ride under 16. This boy looked about 12, so I was quite surprised. Tonight, I saw this boy rudely reply to a man who asked him about this (a legitimate question) by saying that at least he worked and the man was supposedly a welfare recipient. Perhaps this boy looks extremely young for his age, but if he did, he probably wouldn't have responded like that. I understand that there aren't always many staff available during the summer, but I'm still curious what the explanation is.

We wanted to order two hot dogs, and there were five staff members. The guy wouldn't even let us help. 🤔 The blonde girl did, after she called and kept calling. Finally, we paid, and upon paying, the hot dogs were suddenly €3 more expensive!?!? Her response: "The prices have gone up, and we have to adjust them again!" No offense, okay? Apologies, and here they are at the old price! We immediately left and waited at least 20 minutes to be helped, and the place was empty. Their reaction to the price difference was a definite NO-GO!!! Oh yeah, smoking in front of the door is a definite NO-GO!!!!

Delivered within the specified 45 minutes. Delicious tzatziki.

Ordered food, waited two hours, and never saw anything. They did call to say my order had been delivered incorrectly. They said they would remake it and then try to deliver it again. But that took a while too. I was fed up with it and wanted a refund. But to this day, I haven't seen anything. So, no food, no money. I'll never order from them again.

Guys, if it's taking a long time, please give an update. Let us know! Don't let the counter tick down and then go completely silent. I had to give my kids a sandwich and send them to bed. The phone is (obviously) busy. As we speak, I still have no food. Oh no, as I speak, because this is a one-way street. 72 euros wasted. And never again. Update: 2.5 hours later. The restaurant is now closed. I still don't know anything. I can't reach anyone. How are you going to resolve/make this right? This is unacceptable. I almost never write (bad) reviews. Update of the update: After more than 2.5 hours, the doorbell rang. I had to speak to the delivery driver (like a true "karin"...but I had no choice) and told him that he couldn't do anything about it, but that this isn't their fault. Turn off Thuiszorgd if you can't handle it. Give a proper status/reason/apology. Don't expect every order to bring in money when you'll literally never get those people back because of such poor service. My order came with five cans of soda as an excuse. That doesn't really make up for the three hamburgers and fries I had to throw away. Dinner at 9:45 PM is too late for us to enjoy, too. The food was fine, of course. But the damage is done. I asked the delivery driver to contact me. So far, they haven't. They don't want to learn. Running a (delivery) restaurant is so much more than just offering home delivery. Gorinchem has much better options than letting you be treated like that.

Waited 2 hours for food, called and they were busy and in the end the food arrived, not wrongly delivered, very short apologies and money refunded, I hope it's super bad, never order there

I placed an order there. I've never waited so damn long for my food. After waiting two hours, nothing had arrived. No apology afterward. The food you get is also barely worth the price. A complete mess...

Very tasty and customer friendly and good quality. It is now 3:30 at night and we still had a delicious meal.

I placed an order with them. Their system showed a 45 minute wait time, you call them and they say it's actually an hour. and then you get your food after almost a total wait time of 1:45 hours. Then you call them again and they are so rude that they hang up the phone. It's a disgrace that a business dares to offer such service.

Very neat restaurant, quick take away service. Friendly service and above all delicious dishes. We had Briami, which is a Greek dish fresh from the oven prepared in olive oil. It's definitely worth a try. In any case, we will be back!

Ordered the kip souvlaki schotel and it was perfect! Chicken was char grilled tender delicious. Pita was soft and tasty. Tzatziki was perfect. Coleslaw salad was delicious.

Good quality and good service. We had a burger for lunch, it was one of the better burgers I've had. Fresh, crisp and perfectly prepared.

We ordered a pita falafel, which was very tasty with the vegetables on it, it was a pity that the falafel itself was not on it. Same with the hot dog, it stated that it would be served on a brioche and with caramelized onions, this was not the case but on a baguette and raw red onions. The rest of the food was very tasty, but it is a pity that it was not delivered as described

Incredible flavor and very good size of food, very good price-quality! I recommend eating on the left side because on the right you get the breeze from the A/C.

Mr George's employees always clean the place after work. It is a very clean and hygienic place that is cleaned every day at the beginning, in between and especially at the end! I always find that very nice for a place where I get my food. And of course the food is always super tasty!!!! Never been dissatisfied with it and have been ordering here for years!

Ordered here for the second time, first the spareribs which were super tasty and today the generous gyros dish of chicken ordered both times, the delivery person was well on time, now even 10 minutes before the delivery time, nice and generous portions, it's a pity that I don't live in Gorinchem but work but I will order here more often from now on great value for money keep it up and not too expensive top tent and friendly delivery people

Very stingy with tzatziki, sandwich 8 euros with minimal sauce. Do you want sauce? 2 euros. Also stingy with ice cream, which is very dirty. Shame.

Ordered for the first time. Also the last time. The gyros was greasy and resembled döner, little spice. The pita was tasty but way too greasy. The tzaziki and coleslaw were tasty. Shame!

Delicious food and very friendly

Delicious food, friendly staff. It is mainly takeaway, but there are also a few tables for eating on site. It also looks attractive. It is Greek fast food of excellent quality, but not a classic Greek restaurant where you spend an entire evening dining with your family. Pitas are homemade, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Greek sausage was delicious, tender and well spicy. Definitely worth repeating.

We've been waiting for this. Gyros like at home. They don't add coleslaw but greens, but otherwise it's the same as ours. Because they also deliver, it takes a little longer until the gyros are ready on a plate (it's called Schottel), but rightly so they have a lot to do. We enjoyed it there but it's not a restaurant, just a good gyros place. We are already looking forward to our next visit in summer or autumn.

Very bad I placed an order and never received it nor did I get a refund After calling an employee, I was asked to forward the order and proof of payment and that it would be arranged. After doing this I was told that I would have to investigate further and that I would not get my food or money back Not recommended to order here!!

Enjoyed a well-seasoned Gyros sandwich, which is actually a nice, light pita! Also very suitable for children who like tasty meat. Nice staff available!

Ordered 2 x pita gyros. Clicked on extra tzatziki on the website, but unfortunately this did not come through. The delivery person was at the wrong address, precisely because this often happens and is also indicated on the website, but he did not look at it. The food was therefore almost cold, hardly any tzatziki on the pita. Tried to call/chat, no contact. Very unfortunate, the pita had a good taste, just little meat and tzatziki and the service was not up to par.

Burgers and gyros tested so far. The taste is great and the portion sizes are also appropriate. The staff is friendly and the preparation is quick. Eating on site is okay with 4 tables near the entrance and exit if you don't want to take your food with you.

Tasty pitas gyros, loukaniko and briami. Friendly staff and a beautiful place. Picked up and despite that, the food at home (10 minutes by car) was already lukewarm, it could have been a bit warmer. Also ordered a box but didn't get fries, so that was just a sandwich. When he was still in East we had a similar experience (lukewarm food, incomplete order). Seems a bit like this, but the food tastes good so we tried it again, unfortunately no improvement yet.

Just had our food delivered to the hotel where we are staying overnight. The delivery was right on time. That was great. As fans of Greek cuisine, we were very much looking forward to our dishes. It's sad to say, but the moussaka was very disappointing. There was very little flavor or crunch to it, it was lukewarm, and the fried potatoes that came with it seemed to have been reheated many times. Very dry and limp. The stifado was very watery. Not much filling and firmness and here too the familiar taste we were used to was unfortunately hard to find. We regularly eat Greek, but these dishes do not compare to the Greek restaurants where we have eaten before. Shame. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering anything from here anymore...

Vanmorgen samen met mijn vrouw broodjes gegeten, we troffen s morgens vroeg een zeer schone zaak aan, 2 sympathieke heren die een vakkundige uitstraling hadden met een goed verhaal. Ik besef dat het slechts een momentopname was en wellicht een volgende keer anders ( lees: hopelijk beter...) zal zijn maar het ( voorgaard opgewarmde ?)gyros was niet van het niveau als dat je wel je klanten kunt bieden. Broodjes waren royaal belegd met ( teveel ) sla en ( te weinig naar verhouding) vlees. Tevens waren de beide broodjes koud. Een van de heren vertelde dat bij thuisbezorg bestelling de broodjes extra worden geboost voor hitte, daar hebben we dus helemaal niks aan ...wij eten voor je neus in je zaak en onze broodjes die je ons voorschotelt zijn koud. Onbegrijpelijk, we geven aan dat ze koud zijn, je komt met uitleg over thuisbezorgd bestellingen waar we weinig mee kunnen maar doet niks aan onze koude broodjes, heel erg jammer, echt een gemiste kans. Eea neemt niet weg dat de zaak kraakhelder schoon is en beide heren aardig zijn. Succes gewenst met deze leuke kans, er is wel nog ruimte voor verbetering hier.

Zojuist voor het eerst in de binnenstad gehaald maar nog altijd super goed net als toen ze op oost zaten. Heerlijk gegeten!!!

Dit is echt wow 🤩! De smaak van t vlees heeft n vleugje BBQ smaak Wat echt zo veel toevoegt bovenop de fantastische Griekse smaak explosie 💥. Alles is keurig netjes en schoon en ziet er modern uit. Daarnaast leuke lieve mensen ondank de drukte toch nog oog voor je hebben tijdens het wachten en super beleefd en vriendelijk zijn. Voor 13,50 eet ik mijn buikje rond met de forse porties. Dit is waar voor het geld. Waar je bij de snackbar voor een simpel frietje en twee snacks net zo veel kwijt bent heb ik hier een echte maaltijd gehaald met groente en salade. Echt top. Gewoon niks en dan ook niks op aan te merken. Nou een mini puntje dan; het is slim om te van te voren te bestellen. Of op tijd, want dat scheelt een rondje wachten…. Maar jeetje zeg wat is dit een toevoeging voor de stad Gorinchem. De keuze in (semi) afhaal is niet groot zoals in Rotterdam. Dus dan is een kwalitatief goed establishment als dit extra welkom. 🤗

Heerlijk eten. Ik had een pitadel als je van een frikandel speciaal houdt dan is dat echt een aanrader. Al het andere smaakte ook heerlijk. Kom zeker nog een keer terug.

We hadden niet veel keus helaas geen gyros. Souvlaki was onze enige keus maar deze was dan ook erg goed. Een flinke hoeveelheid. Ook de friet was heel goed. Kortom ik kan iedereen aanraden naar mr George te gaan.

Decent new Greek place in Gorinchem

Geweldig eten, vriendelijke mensen. Zo hoort eten te zijn. Een aanrader. En mooi de gespreken met de eigenaar erg boeiend om meer te weten van de Griekse keuken.

Nette hippe zaak met kwaliteit eten

Burger was koud, de smaak was wel goed. Griekse salade was vooral ijsbergsla met beetje komkommer, 3 stukjes tomaat, feta ver te zoeken. Viel voor ons helaas tegen en denk niet dat we er nog een keer bestellen.

We came here by incident and were positively surprised by the delicious and fresh authentic Greek street food. In particular I liked the cabbage salad. Nice background sound from the kitchen, discussing - in a Greek and Dutch language mixture - how to organize the evening’s orders and deliveries. Felt like a micro holiday.

Pita Kip box besteld om mee te nemen maar moest hier een half uur op wachten. Duurde veel te lang en ze waren in de keuken ook niet snel. Pita was droog was weinig sla, komkommer of saus op. Groet was ook niet vee kreeg je ook geen saus bij. Stelde niet veel voor allemaal..

Online besteld, 4 maaltijden, afhalen om 19:00, om 19:50 eindelijk klaar. Wordt gebeld dat ze 1 maaltijd zijn vergeten mee te geven. Dus terug. Blijkt er naderhand nog een maaltijd te missen. Weer terug, geld terug, de rest bijna koud. Slechte ervaring. Het eten was overigens wel lekker.

Mooi concept, mooie zaak, eten goed op smaak en ziet er goed uit. Prijs / hoeveelheid goed op peil. Pas op met te veel opties aanbieden en houdt de logistiek in de gaten bij drukte kan op termijn tegen het concept gaan werken.

Sinds tijden niet zulke lekkere gyros gegeten in Nederland. Vriendelijke service en de kwaliteit van het eten is fantastisch!

Leuke zaak en erg lekker eten. Wij hebben daar met 5 personen gegeten. Hadden allemaal iets anders. Alles was lekker, de gyros was ons bekend en is altijd goed. De angus burger en de hot dog waren nieuw en echt heerlijk. Een aanrader. Leuke modere zaak, het personeel doet hun best om het de klanten naar de zin te maken. Wij komen er zeker weer. 👍🏻

Heerlijk eten in hartje Gorinchem. Echt een aanwinst voor onze binnenstad. Een origineel menu, voor ieder wat wils en een fijne plek om ter plaatse te eten. Aanrader!

Heerlijke Black Angus gegeten! Nette zaak met sfeervolle inrichting. Het vermelden waard; alle vleesgerechten worden bereid op een houtskoolgrill.

Vanavond voor het eerst besteld. Echt super gegeten. Alles was super lekker en ook de patat was warm en heerlijk krokant. Echt complimenten. Jullie hebben er klanten bij. Groetjes uit Arkel

Ik heb hier zojuist uit nieuwsgierigheid een hotdog gekocht. Wist niet goed wat ik kon verwachten, maar het viel behoorlijk in de smaak. Knapperig, pittig, heet, vol smaak. Een aanrader en hier kom ik zeker terug :-)
