Wow… this was, without a doubt, the best sushi I've ever had! Everything about this box is perfect: the presentation is beautiful, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the quality is unparalleled. The rice has just the right texture—not too sticky, not too dry—and the toppings are truly top-notch. The combination of creamy avocado, fresh spring onion, rich sauce, and that crunchy tobiko in the center gives every bite an explosion of flavor. The pieces topped with the slightly spicy sauce were especially heavenly; a perfect kick that wasn't overpowering. What struck me most was that not a single piece tasted "ordinary." Each roll had its own character, as if the chef had carefully considered every detail. The interplay of sweet, savory, and umami makes this a true masterpiece. If I had to rate this, I wouldn't stop at a 10—this is a 12/10 experience. I can honestly say I've never had such refined, flavorful sushi. Unfortunately, the price list in the store doesn't match the actual price. I only discovered this after I'd paid. Some explanation beforehand would have been more appropriate, rather than afterward. The prices are much higher than indicated on the cards. Upon returning home, it turns out the total is even higher than if you'd ordered online. Tip: communicate openly beforehand so no one is faced with surprises.

You are not very helpful on the phone and there was no apology or compensation after they (without giving a signal themselves) were so incredibly late. The food was tasty, that's true. Placed our first order for a pokey bowl tonight. More than an hour later, the order arrived incorrectly. Missed half of the contents of the meal. Contacted them by phone afterwards and was not helped properly or even oriented towards a solution. Eventually, we received the missing food in small containers again and had to put it together ourselves. Poor quality sushi. Pricey and long delivery times. Definitely not worth repeating.

What a worthless company. After an hour still no order, so I called. A rude lady on the phone said it was almost on its way. After an hour and a half nothing. Called again and they were just working on it. Lies and empty promises. It was delivered 2 hours late by a group of 5 anti-social, noisy teenagers on fat bikes. The sushi rolls were mixed up. What a bunch of bastards. I will never order anything here again. If I had read all the other negative reviews in advance, I would not have ordered here in the first place. This really isn't even worth a star.

I was a regular customer at Mr Sushi in Zevenaar. Always been satisfied with their sushi. Today I ordered soft shell spicy tuna and a hand roll. I have ordered this very often in recent years. I was surprised how the sushi looked upon arrival. Much smaller than normal! It looked more like a maki than a special sushi, which means you pay more for it. I paid €21.55 for this?! You can see it in the photo. My hand roll was also not what it normally looks like. I decided to call Mr Sushi to tell my story. I first got a female colleague on the phone and then she handed the phone to a male colleague. Once again I told my story that I always order from them and that this is the first time I have experienced this. The male colleague immediately said that he would not make another roll for me, because I thought the sushi was too small. Just to clarify: I did not ask for a new role. I wanted to express my surprise and disappointment because you paid for it. The gentleman didn't understand me and gave me a tip to look up sushi on Google, so that I could get a better idea than I probably have. Disparaging! I would like to reiterate what my experiences have been in recent years and I know exactly what I am ordering since this was not my first time with them. The gentleman absolutely disagreed and was very blunt with me as a customer. I said that I will not order from them again, because I am not satisfied with how I was being treated. You can't even express your dissatisfaction with this branch. The gentleman saw it as a threat and indicated that I was cheating on him. Very annoying conversation, far from customer friendliness and any recognition. We are not allowed to give our opinion, they are not open to that. I think it's very sad. I won't spend another cent. Terrible!

I ordered food there at 4:30 PM, after an hour and a half I called to ask how long it would take, it would take another 20 minutes. 1 hour later still nothing arrived, so after waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes we decided to cancel the order. I was told that my money would be refunded after 10 working days, I did not receive anything after 10 working days when I called and apparently no cancellation had been placed by the cooperation. So I canceled my order again to get my money back, after almost 4 weeks still nothing and I was told on the phone that it had already been deposited! I think it is a very bad company and not customer friendly at all

I order here regularly, but it was really time for a review. This is also intended as feedback to Mr. Sushi. Please do something with it. We would love to come back, but it has to be better. Unfortunately, the quality is very variable, both of the sushi and the service. This review is not based on a one-off incident. Today it happened again: it was busy. Ordered around 4:00 PM for 6:00 PM. Called at 6:30 PM and you get an apology; it's busy and they're really working on it now. Call again at 7:30 PM. Even more apologies, free poke bowls and a discount code for the next order. Very nice, but that doesn't satisfy the hunger at that moment. At 7:55 PM you will receive a message that the delivery person is on his way. Finally at 8:30 PM an (extremely friendly) delivery person came to the door. At times like this, Mr. Sushi is in total panic and they can't get it back on track. However, on any other day it will be delivered within fifteen minutes of ordering. Today it tasted delicious, but another time less so. I sincerely hope that Mr. Sushi learns from moments like this once and for all. If it is busy, you are short of people, the cash register is not working, whatever - close your website as soon as possible. Call your customers who have already ordered to tell them it will be later and offer the option to cancel. Don't make false promises (such as "we are going to prepare it for you now" and "the delivery person is just on his way"), as that will not help anyone. It is better to lose some orders than customers: short vs. long-term thinking. We will definitely come back and hopefully never experience this again. If you can't figure it out yourself, please ask for help. It's okay to ask for help! We want you to get better. Good luck!

We ordered sushi at 5 p.m. with the delivery option 'as soon as possible'. We called at 5:50 PM and it would be with us within half an hour. At 6:20 PM we called again and it would take another 20 minutes before they would arrive. On the phone they kept saying that it was very busy and that we live in a remote area so it will take a long time, with an attitude that you can't stand. They couldn't do anything for us and ultimately canceled the order. Now we just have to wait and see if we actually get our money back...

Placed an order at 5 p.m., delivered at 7:30 p.m. The fried sushi and gyoza, which were supposed to be warm, were of course ice cold, taste deteriorated, very salty smoked salmon, sauce less flavor. Edit: weer maanden later; Constant leveren ze niet in mijn postcode gebied. Heel irritant.. Edit 5 maanden later: laatste tijd weer meerdere keren besteld en ondanks de bezorgtijd die regelmatig uitloopt, blijft het gewoon een hele goeie suhsi-tent. 1 ster erbij voor de continuïteit! Tevreden met de kwaliteit vd sushi. Leveringstijd is wel ondermaats. Nu een kortingscode gekregen die niet veel voorstelt. Ik vind te laat bezorgen nog niet zo'n heel probleem (vandaag was wel buitensporig met 45 minuten), maar geef het dan op z'n minst pro-actief door, ipv dat ik er meerdere keren achteraan moet bellen!
