A great evening from start to finish. At Muggels by Gijs everything is just right: from the warm welcome to the moment of departure you feel welcome and pampered. The food is sublime – beautifully presented, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care. The choice of wines fits in perfectly with this and is explained with knowledge and enthusiasm. What made this evening really special was the personal approach. Even special requests were accommodated with all flexibility and friendliness. You can tell from everything that hospitality is not a side issue here, but a core value. In short: Muggels by Gijs is a place where you don't just go to eat, but where you get a complete experience. Definitely recommended – we will definitely come back

After 18 years at Lindehof, it was time for Gijs Hoevenaars to embark on a new adventure. Together with host Theo van Lith, Muggels was opened last year in a thatched farmhouse with a long history in the hospitality industry between the sports fields of Uden. A fun fact is that this location was known as Helianthushof around the turn of the century, with owner Jannis Brevet, who at the time was in possession of Uden's first Michelin star. This month, they started with Sunday lunch, so we booked straight away. Inside, it is tastefully decorated and somewhat larger than expected, the terrace is surrounded by greenery and set up under a large tarpaulin. We chose the seasonal menu, generous, tasty dishes with excellent preparations, with sommelier Iete Braeken serving matching wines in a very pleasant manner. As far as I can tell, they have already built up a good reputation, because the terrace was completely sold out this afternoon.

I had an incredible experience at Muggels by Gijs in Uden, where the service was not only attentive and friendly, but made every guest feel genuinely welcome. The food was a culinary delight, beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and creative twists that made my taste buds dance, all in a chic and inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances sophistication and a laid-back vibe. Atmospheric location, and after reading the reviews, I was curious about what Gijs and his kitchen team had to offer. We'd enjoyed Gijs's culinary expertise many times in Nuenen, so expectations were undoubtedly very high. We opted for the 5-course surprise menu, but both my partner and I were very disappointed with what we received. It just wasn't to our liking; we found it a bit uninspired and a bit dry. Again, perhaps our expectations were simply too high.

Food is reasonable to excellent, 3rd course with fish very bland, main course very salty, service still needs to improve. Time between courses too long, no explanation for the main course, no asking for dessert or cheese.

What a fantastic dinner experience, a hidden gem in Uden. Surprise menu with wine pairing. Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with super nice hosts. Full evening menu and recommended if you want to have a nice meal with friends or business associates. We'll go again soon ;-)

Had dinner at Muggels on Christmas Eve and it was more than worth it. Beautiful farm, fantastic food with a nice matching (bob) wine arrangement. Friendly service that makes you feel really welcome. Absolutely recommended.

Very warm welcome in this Dutch restaurant offering authentic cuisine inspired by flavors from around the world. Very nice wine offer. Small downside on the dessert, a little below. I highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience at Muggels Wine & Dine! We were warmly welcomed by Theo in the beautiful building, which immediately created a nice atmosphere. We had a delicious meal here with a few friends. The menu offers a good selection and the dishes are not only beautifully presented, but also taste fantastic. Every dish was a party in itself! I can highly recommend this restaurant for a night out with friends or family. Highly recommended!

Dine in the characteristic ambiance of a farm on the edge of Uden. Gijs Hoevenaars lets you choose from a card full of high-quality surprises. Photos: Pumpkin-Curry-Rice and dessert Banana-Rum-Toffee. You will definitely come back for this! We were kindly assisted by Muamer, who was attentive and professional throughout. All dishes were delicious! Also note the Montusan alcohol-free bubble which was nice and dry with a slight sweet hint. Another reservation has already been made.

Yesterday, in honor of my birthday, I had dinner outside at Muggels on their beautiful terrace with 14 people. Everyone enjoyed it and the food was very good.

Visited Muggles again today after a long time! Even though our son was tired, we still enjoyed the food. You can taste the freshness and quality, especially if you haven't been there for a long time. Theo was always positive despite our son being tired. Further sublime advice with a drink of champagne beer! Super!

Excellent and cozy restaurant. In my opinion, all dishes offered are at star level. Only their advice chateaubriand of 60 euros is too little for 2 people.

Warm welcome, attractive ambiance, spacious and comfortably furnished both inside and outside, clear menu (particularly the Shared Dining idea is a hit), dishes are professionally served from the kitchen or prepared at the table, quality/price increase in balance, structure and taste of dishes is of a good standard, people have an overview of what is happening per table and respond accordingly, owner Theo is interested in the taste experience of his guests. Great meal, pleasantly surprised! They know how to make something special from every dish. Some (starter) dishes are finished at the table and that also makes it fun. The atmosphere is also very good! Some dishes are a bit pricey, but they are worth it. The shared dining concept is also fun! The service is good and attentive. A unique business in Uden and we will definitely come back.

Unique dining experience. Great place outside of the city centre, and a lot of free parking. The service was super friendly and really good, they wanted to make sure that everthing was satisfactory. Even a mocktail was offered, which was not on the menu. The food was prepared with a lot of care, with fresh ingredients and looked great.

Traveled to Uden from the US to visit family and discovered this restaurant searching the web. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. I had made a mistake on the date for our reservation and showed up a day early. The staff was so kind and even though they were fully booked and down on staff they accommodated our party of nine. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing and beautiful. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the style of shared plates for three different courses. there wasn’t a dish we didn’t like. Highly recommend!

Lekker gegeten en door het concept "shared dining" veel heerlijke gerechten kunnen proeven. Er werd netjes rekening gehouden met dieetwensen of zoals in ons geval met allergieën. Op aanvraag werden twee lekkere mocktails bereid. Zeer aardig personeel. Kortom alle ingrediënten voor een fijne avond die zeker voor herhaling vatbaar is.

Een gezellig avondje uit met vrienden, heerlijk gegeten vooral de spaghetti parmezaanse met truffel. Heeeeerlijk. Heel leuk concept share dining. Leuk en gezellig personeel.

Voor de tweede keer in korte tijd geweest Wederom heerlijk gegeten, mooie locatie, goed personeel. Waar je me savonds voor wakker mag maken is de pasta die live aan de tafel door de parmezaanse kaas wordt gehaald met truffel, echt te lekker! (toetje was ook heerlijk 😉) Tot de volgende keer.

Leuke locatie, mooi ingericht, goede stoelen. Shared Dining concept, wisten we niet......ook geen fan van. Maar we konden gelukkig ook een bordje voor ons zelf bestellen. Mooie zeebaars met heerlijke witte wijn van de kaart. Bediening vriendelijk en correct.

Vanalles wat. Mooie gerechten. Chateau briand en de bavette erg goed. Witlof erg zout. Bediening en service kan beter. Groot deel personeel is tijdelijke kracht en weinig ervaring horeca. Service enigszins amateuristisch. Tafels en stoelen wisselen van kwaliteit. Aantal mooie ronde Tafels met mooie stoelen maar ook enkele kleine Tafels met oncomfortabele stoelen. Dicht op elkaar.

Mooie locatie, vriendelijke mensen en het restaurant heeft een leuke manier van shared dining. Heerlijk gegeten!
