Mulberry Restaurant in Warmond

The restaurant is located close to the water. It has a big garden with terrace and a private parking. The service was definitely 5 stars; kind and making a connection. The sommelier had some great stories and the chefs also came to the table to serve dishes. We loved 5 of the 6 courses, especially the sauces were really high on taste and we really enjoyed it! The one dish we found lagging a bit was the cheese platter. The goat cheese was really dry and the fig bread was also a bit dry. There was no compote or something to make it less dry. Second cheese was a bit blend and the blue cheese missed the “punch” in my opinion. Also one of the two wine pairings was not to my preferred tasting (I know, that’s personal). I found it to be a bit “petrol” tasting. All in all the experience was five stars, five out of six dishes were five stars and most of the wines were five stars as well. Why a four star total? Because at this price point and the Michelin star I was hoping for everything to fall into place. We spend about € 185 per person. This asks for everything to be excellent in my opinion. But; we will surely return because you do get a great evening with very good food!

A very good restaurant with a lovely menu. They offer vegetarian, meat, and fish options. The wines served are perfectly matched to the food. The alcohol-free options are a bit limited, but still good. In short, a highly recommended place where you can enjoy a delicious meal.

Came all the way from Berlin to try out this place. My expectations were high, but they were exceeded in every way. The food is incredibly good, the service is attentive, friendly – perfect. I will definitely come back

Great experience at De Moerbei. For our 20th wedding anniversary we organized a dinner here with our loved ones. Everything was arranged down to the last detail. The host pampered us from the moment we entered to the moment we handed in our coats. We had a 6-course surprise menu. The chef and other cooks regularly come to the table to serve the dishes. Great experience. Thank you!

The food is of a reasonable standard. I have not been surprised by any of the courses in terms of taste or structure. Often the same cream/ointment throughout the corridors. Crockery is “old school” but that goes well with the interior. The website has been on the website since 1996….but that is also for the interior. Stripes of wallpaper, heavy curtains, bad linst (although that is certainly debatable), worn chair backs, toilet was from the farm days, I think, but the biggest letdown was the poor lighting. Just halogen spotlights, you can't make that up. Service was reasonable. The sum was good and pleasant, the lady was wearing eraleten sneakers and was dusty. Come on Michellin, if this is the level you are losing your credibility. I have eaten at many stars but this was a 4.4/10. This week we had a delicious dinner with friends at De Moerbei. What is always striking is the warm welcome and the almost homely atmosphere. The creations of the kitchen brigade were very surprising and particularly tasty and it was good that the chefs regularly presented and explained their dishes themselves. In short, another wonderful experience that we would like to repeat again soon.

Had a delicious meal here last summer. Had dinner at De Moerbei again last week. This time with friends from the north of the country. Fantastic flavours. Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Delicious matching wines. That star is well deserved. We enjoyed it and will come again soon!

Ate here last year, everything went excellently, as you would expect. Now, with new ownership, it has not reached the level you would expect from a Michelin restaurant. Waiting longer for the various courses, forgetting once to put down cutlery on time while serving was taking place. In addition, the courses were often served with similar sauces, which created monotony.

Another special experience and extra fun exploring all the flavours with our 22-year-old son. Each dish is a work of art with its own unique flavours, a feast in the mouth. Knowledgeable and nice staff, highly recommended.

Als gast voel je je echt welkom door de vriendelijke ontvangst. Voor een lunch is het prettig dat er alcoholvrije bubbels gekozen kunnen worden. De smaak was erg goed van de mousserende alcoholvrije wijn. Met de dieetwensen werd goed rekening gehouden, en de gerechten werden net zo mooi opgediend als bij de anderen. De smaak was uitstekend. De friandises bij de koffie waren goed in balans, niet erg zoet en ook niet zwaar op de maag. Deze lunch was een mooie belevenis.

Het was weer even geleden dat we er waren, maar, zoals altijd, was het weer een feest om daar te kunnen eten. Heerlijke, perfect klaargemaakte gerechten, mooi gepresenteerd. Niet goedkoop, natuurlijk, maar volledig terecht, gezien de kwaliteit. En daarbij de vriendelijke, discrete service. Een blijver.

Uitstekend restaurant met bij mooi weer een prachtig buitenterras. Het eten is perfect verzorgd, Franse keuken met wat Aziatische details. Gastvrouw is buitengewoon vriendelijk en betrokken. Gratis parkeren op het terrein. Dikke aanrader.

Ivm verblijf in het buitenland eindelijk weer eens een bezoek gebracht aan de Moerbei. De herinneringen waren heel goed, de hernieuwde ervaring nog beter. Een slow paaslunch van 12.30 tot 16.30 gehad, waarbij mij vooral de grote hoeveelheid smaakaspecten in de gerechten opviel. Goede wijn. Hasta Pronto.

Zeer prettige avond gehad en genoten van het uitgebreide menu met steeds keuze uit vis, vlees of vegetarisch! Top bediening en bijzondere smaken en uiteraard bijpassende wijnen.

Met z'n 2 hebben wij genoten van een heerlijk 4 gangen - verrassingsmen met een bijpassend wijn arrangement. Ieder gerecht is een heuse smaakbeleving geweest, dit in combinatie met de heerlijke fijne bediening. Ik kan niet wachten tot het iets warmer is om dan heerlijk in de tuin te zitten. Wij komen hier weer terug!

I asked my soon-to-be wife to marry me here and visited again a year after. It's slowly turning into our favourite restaurant. The flavours are absolutely impeccable and the wine pairing is wonderfully unique each time. What sets the restaurant apart is the relaxed service. I cannot imagine the amount of work that happens behind the scenes to make every guest feel this wholeheartedly welcomed and taken care of. Do not hesitate to visit this fine establishment!

Lekker gegeten service was perfect, kan niet beter. De moeite die ze voor mij hebben gedaan om rekening met mijn allergie gaat ver boven het normale. Chapeau!!! Aandacht en service excellent. Echt een aanrader als je exquise uit eten wilt.

Een heel groot compliment aan het hele team. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en met de passende wijntjes erbij was het een perfecte avond. Top bediening die op alle vragen een antwoord had. De keukenbrigade heeft van begin tot het einde de sterren van de hemel gekookt. Wij komen graag weer!!!!!

We visited the place as a family and the interior is traditional cosy and nice. Unfortunately we were seated near the kitchen. We ordered a five course menu, which were all very delicious and well worth the spending. Each course was well presented, creative and tasted excellent. The restaurant deserves its Guide Michelin star for taste, creativity and presentation - for sure!! Everything was perfectly arranged and tasteful balanced food, together with the wine selection. Service was smooth, efficient and ever-present. The overall experience was excellent and we will be back - again!

Afgelopen vrijdag heerlijk gegeten. Heerlijkegerechten, mooi aangekleed restaurant en gezellige bediening. Daarnaast ook een uitgebreide en betaalbare wijnkaart!

Hoe omschrijf je de perfecte lunch? Dat begint met een hartelijk ontvangst en een fijne ambiance. Een correcte Corona scan en een fijn plekje bij het raam. Voor mijn verjaardag op een woensdagmiddag getrakteerd op een heerlijke lunch. Amuse en een bubbel vooraf. Met moeite een keuze kunnen maken uit de heelijk lijkende gerechten, wow wat een smaakbeleving. Ook de begeleidende wijnen zijn erg lekker. Ook fijn dat er een “bob” arrangement beschikbaar is. Alles klopt, van het broodje tot de originaliteit in de gerechten. Een hele fijne sterwaardige ervaring, bedankt voor deze middag.
