Because we were in the area, we decided to make a reservation based on other reviews. We had some experience with Syrian cuisine, but had never been to a Lebanese restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the man who seemed to be the owner. Our coats were taken, and we were politely escorted to our reserved table. The decor and atmosphere evoked a Middle Eastern atmosphere. Everything looked neat, and the staff were attentive to the guests. It took a moment before we could order a drink, but that gave us a chance to relax. When we were presented with the menu, it was clearly explained that we could choose between à la carte and a tapas-style menu. Since we had no experience with this cuisine, we asked the owner for advice. He recommended the tapas-style introduction, consisting of four courses. We ordered one chicken dish and one BBQ. Each course was a feast for the eyes and taste buds. The dishes were all prepared with care and attention. One small mistake by the kitchen was promptly corrected and neatly resolved with the necessary apologies and a complimentary drink on the house. Hats off! The portions were so large that we didn't feel like we had room for dessert, but the desserts we saw served were prepared with the same care and attention as our culinary journey through Lebanese cuisine. I've been to these scammers and can tell you what not to do. This is what happens: you arrive with three people, then you don't get tapas as ordered, but some appetizers and sauces with bread. The rice is reused from the table next to me (and yes, they really do this). You get a lukewarm soup as a first course, then bread with Turkish sauces from the market (so not fresh). Then you get a disgusting potato or beetroot (with leftover salad), and then you get meat thrown at you. This should have been for three people: three pieces of meat to share. I order for three people, not for 1.5 people, right? Then I complain and am sent away by the person who calls himself the boss. He then says I'm happy to pay, but not the €139. I end up paying the agreed-upon €100 because he's cheating. Later that evening, the police call me. The man thinks I've cheated him. Excuse me, you're the scammer. The staff makes you wait 25 minutes for your menu (apparently quite normal). Look at the photo, and it speaks volumes about what you get for three people. You shouldn't go here. I really don't recommend it, and I even got sick after eating here. I've reported it to the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority, and I hope they'll do something about it. If you do go, prepare yourself, you'll be disappointed. Good luck and be careful at this restaurant. Good luck if you do go. You can also buy reviews. There are more dissatisfied customers, and yes, if I get scammed, I normally don't pay, so yes, you are scammers, and the situation wasn't any different than it wasn't fresh. Pouring a lot of olive oil on something doesn't change that. It's about the quantity. You're scamming people. If this is for three people, that's very little, but it says more about you than about me.

Fantastic! Delicious Arabic cuisine with beautiful, straightforward ingredients! Highly recommended for anyone who loves food; I'll definitely be back! It feels like you're dining in someone's home in Palestine! A wonderful trip to make in one evening. The service was also exceptionally good!

We had a wonderful evening here. The staff is friendly and really knowledgeable about the food. They were able to talk about it with humor and passion, which is always a good sign. It's also very cozy and the decor is entirely themed, making it feel like you're somewhere else. We had the set menu with various dishes, and they even had gluten-free and lactose-free options, which was really nice! The multiple courses also meant you stayed a bit longer. We were full afterward, but the food was excellent. A sign that it's clean and balanced. We will definitely be back!

The first time we ate there was in January, when we came from the region near the Belgian border to celebrate my partner's birthday. We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance, and the food so captivated us that we decided to return. We called it our discovery of the year. Yesterday we ordered food for the second time: it was just as delicious, warm, and richly flavored. Compliments to the chef! We will definitely return to this region to enjoy this food again!

We had dinner with 8 people on Friday evening, June 27th. We had an unforgettable evening, which will be talked about for a long time. It was FANTASTIC in one word. We had a delicious meal on a stopover from Groningen, the staff noticed that we were on our way and asked if we had time for the meal. We took our time and enjoyed the Lebanese cuisine. Despite the crowds, the courses followed each other well and we continued our journey satisfied after about 1.5-2 hours. Thank you for the wonderful care!

The restaurant was packed but the staff were so warm and hospitable, taking the time to chat with every customer, what a casual and friendly atmosphere! I can't say anything other than a big 10! Do you want to imagine yourself in the Arabian spheres, in the fairy tale of 1001 nights, in the land of Aladin? Go to Nazareth. Ambience is supplemented with tasty mezes (starters, snacks a la tapas) and the roaring Arabic music that completes it. We ordered Darawish, BBQ and another 4 course menu. Everything was neat, fine and tasty, except the main course was a bit less, the meat was dry and did not taste spicy. Our dessert was not given and we did not know it was included in the 4 courses. Arak was delicious.

We ordered from Nazareth for our wedding, contact was pleasant. Very nice that it could also be delivered. We ordered a completely vegan menu, the only downside was that there was one salad with feta. The food is really delicious, we (and our guests) enjoyed it.

We had the drinks box for two people (18.50 pp) Especially in response to the photos on the takeaway menu. However, we had maybe a quarter of what was on there. Four dips and three pieces of pita bread (logical...) And we had a lot of the same ones from one dough dish. Little variety and really overpriced for what we got. We had no baguette, no stuffed peppers, we were missing two types of pies, no fresh bread, three types of dip less than in the photo, no mushrooms, no meatballs, no stuffed eggplant. We only had five different types of snacks (5!) For almost forty euros it was really a disappointment. We won't do that again.

What amazing food! What a great atmosphere! What great service! In short: a great experience. The food was delicious, the Kanafeh for dessert is also highly recommended, so save a spot for this. We had actually ordered too much because of the great menu, so someone came to us to tell us that we might have been a little too enthusiastic. So they certainly respect the food here. Dietary wishes are also taken into account very well and they can also tell you something about all the dishes. Highly recommended and what a class that this restaurant can be found in the far north!

Last night we had dinner at Nazareth for the second time with two colleagues. Once again the welcome and service were very nice. The atmosphere and decor are warm and cozy. The food is once again delicious. The eggplant with chicken, spare ribs and grilled chicken are excellent. I have found my favorite restaurant!

Went here for dinner this week with the family all the way from Amsterdam. We often eat from Lebanese cuisines, but Nazareth restaurant has surpassed all cuisines. The food was delicious, not a single dish was disappointing! The atmosphere in the restaurant is also super cozy, you can enjoy it for hours. It's that we don't live nearby otherwise we would be here every week!

Wat een prachtige plek is dit! Meteen als je door de voordeur binnenkomt waan je je in een Oosterse wereld. Gastvrij worden we ontvangen en we krijgen een plek bij het raam. De service is uiterst vriendelijk. Bij de menukaart krijgen we uitleg over de mogelijkheden. We kiezen voor de tapas Vegetarisch en tapas Darawish. "Zo krijgen we in één maaltijd een goede indruk van de Palestijnse keuken. Van de linzesoep met citroen, de houmous varianten en het gegrilde vlees, alles smaakt voortreffelijk. Geen ruimte meer voor het toetje dus afgesloten met koffie en thee. Een heerlijke avond waarbij we besloten: we komen zeker terug bij dit beste restaurant van Drachten!

Na vele bezoeken aan verschillende Libanese restaurants, kan ik met overtuiging zeggen dat Restaurant Nazareth in Drachten de allerbeste ervaring biedt. Tijdens mijn recente diner hier was ik diep onder de indruk. Niet alleen was het eten voortreffelijk, maar ook de ambiance van het restaurant was indrukwekkend. Het interieur van Nazareth is stijlvol en nodigt uit tot een avond vol genot. Elk gerecht dat ik proefde, was een bewijs van de authentieke Libanese/Palestijnse keuken, bereid met passie en expertise. Van de rijke smaken tot de perfecte presentatie, alles was top. De bediening verdient een speciale vermelding; professioneel, attent en met kennis van zaken. Ze zorgden ervoor dat mijn ervaring onvergetelijk werd. Mijn conclusie: als je nog nooit bij Restaurant Nazareth in Drachten bent geweest, mis je echt iets bijzonders. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die de ware essentie van de Libanese keuken wil ervaren. Dit restaurant staat nu bovenaan mijn lijst!
